Abstract

Abstrak Bagi siswa SMA yang mempelajari bahasa Jepang, penguasaan huruf Hiragana dianggap sebagai dasar yang sangat penting. Keterampilan ini memiliki signifikansi karena banyak kata-kata asli dalam bahasa Jepang, seperti nama tempat dan objek, ditulis dengan huruf Hiragana. Biasanya, pembelajaran Hiragana ditekankan sebelum mempelajari Katakana dan Kanji, terutama pada tahap awal pembelajaran di sekolah menengah atas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi eksperimental sebagai metodologi. Metode ini dipilih karena sesuai dengan karakteristik sampel penelitian, yang terdiri dari kelompok pembanding atau kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Penentuan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sudah ditetapkan sebelumnya dan tidak dipilih secara acak, mengikuti desain nonequivalent control group (Sugiyono, 2014). Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan Mann-Whitney Test, nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan Power Point Powtoon memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan dalam menghafal huruf Hiragana. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pemanfaatan media Power Point Powtoon memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan dalam menghafal huruf Hiragana. Meskipun beberapa data tidak mengikuti distribusi normal, uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikan, menegaskan bahwa dampak media tersebut cukup besar. Siswa yang menggunakan Powtoon menunjukkan peningkatan dalam mengartikulasikan huruf-huruf dan kemampuan menghafal huruf Hiragana. Top of Form Kata kunci: Hiragana, Power Point, Powtoon , Eksperimen. Abstract High school students studying Japanese are required to master the Hiragana script as a fundamental skill. This proficiency is crucial as native Japanese words, such as place names and objects, are written in Hiragana. Typically, the learning sequence prioritizes Hiragana before delving into Katakana and Kanji, especially in the early stages of high school. The research employed a quasi-experimental approach as its methodology. This method was chosen to align with the characteristics of the research sample, comprising a control group and an experimental group. The assignment of these groups was predetermined and not randomly selected, following a nonequivalent control group design (Sugiyono, 2014). Based on the findings from the Mann-Whitney Test, the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This indicates that the use of Power Point Powtoon has a significant impact on the ability of 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan to memorize Hiragana characters. In conclusion, this study suggests that the utilization of Power Point Powtoon positively influences the proficiency of 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 Teluk Kuantan in memorizing Hiragana characters. Despite some data not following a normal distribution, the Mann-Whitney Test results show significant value, supporting the notion that the impact of the media is substantial. Students using Powtoon demonstrated improvement in articulating the characters and memorizing the Hiragana script. Keywords : Hiragana, Power Point, Powtoon , Experiment.

Abstract

The activity of introducing furoshiki culture to the community is one of the efforts to preserve the environment. Furoshiki with high aesthetic value is expected to attract the attention of the community to use it as a substitute for plastic packaging. Through the Community Service (PkM) activity organized by the Japanese Language Education Study Program, FKIP, Riau University, an introduction to the history and culture of furoshiki, the practice of using furoshiki, and distributing questionnaires was carried out to determine the community's perception of the potential for accepting furoshiki as a new culture and habit in the local community. The target community was 50 members of the PKK of Jake Village, Simpang Tiga Village, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. From the results of the questionnaire, 100% of participants agreed to practice the use of furoshiki, 98% of participants agreed to accept furoshiki as a new culture, 100% of participants agreed with the efforts and means of spreading furoshiki and 90% of participants were interested in furoshiki. Based on these results, it can be said that the community can accept furoshiki culture well to become part of everyday life. However, in order to achieve optimal sustainability, efforts are needed to introduce furoshiki culture more widely in society and to consistently get used to using furoshiki.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty at Laritta Bakery Shop Dharmahusada Surabaya. The study originates from a research gap that has not specifically explored the dimensions of product quality in shaping customer satisfaction and loyalty in the bakery industry. This research employs a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The sample consists of 96 respondents selected using Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results show that product quality has a significant influence on customer satisfaction (β = 0.398; t-value = 5.538; p = 0.000) and customer loyalty (β = 0.661; t-value = 10.298; p = 0.000). Customer satisfaction also significantly affects customer loyalty (β = 0.317; t-value = 3.181; p = 0.001), although its impact is smaller compared to product quality. These findings highlight the importance of improving product quality, particularly in terms of reliability, aesthetics, and durability, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study provides strategic contributions for Laritta Bakery in increasing competitiveness and retaining customers.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that ranks second as the cause of death in the infectious disease group after HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infectious disease. Pamekasan Regency is ranked fifth in East Java in terms of TB cases, after Sumenep, Lumajang, Malang City, and Jember Regencies. The Head of the Pamekasan Regency Health Office is committed to increasing the understanding of TB Cadres to help patients carry out long-term treatment. The activity method was in the form of training on TB Treatment for TB Cadres of Health Centers and TB Managers of the Health Office in Pamekasan Regency. The implementation was held on October 17, 2020 in Pamekasan. There were 58 participants consisting of 35 TB Cadres and 23 TB Managers. The results of the training showed that there was an increase in understanding, with an average score of 8.4828 after the training and 6.6379 before the training with a p pired t test = 0.000. Conclusion The training has an effect on increasing the understanding of TB Cadres and Managers of the Health Office in Pamekasan Regency regarding the treatment and prevention of TB transmission. This activity targets four categories of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 3 (Good health and well-being), SDG 4 (Quality education), SDG 16 (Peace, justice and strong institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnership for the goals).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Podomoro method in improving the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the material of Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms in the Archipelago. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students of MIN 20 Banjar in semester 2. The Podomoro method, which prioritizes learning with work and rest time division techniques, is applied to improve students' concentration and understanding of historical material. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design. Data were collected through learning outcome tests before and after the application of the Podomoro method, as well as observations and interviews with students and teachers. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the Podomoro method. Students became more focused, motivated, and found it easier to understand the concept of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms compared to conventional learning methods. Thus, the Podomoro method can be used as an alternative in IPAS learning, especially in history material, to improve the effectiveness of learning and student learning outcomes. This study recommends the use of this method more widely in other subjects to improve the quality of learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Conventional preservation of temples often faces challenges related to funding, management, and utilization of sites, resulting in incomplete conservation efforts. This study aims to explore the successful preservation of Candi Kimpulan through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach model. The PPP model is expected to address these challenges by optimizing resources and creating synergy between the government, private universities, and the community. The theoretical basis emphasized is the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach as a collaboration model between the government, private institutions, and the community to support the sustainable preservation of cultural heritage by optimizing the function, form, and meaning of cultural sites. This qualitative research utilizes a case study method to analyze the impact of PPP on the function, form, and meaning of the preservation of Candi Kimpulan. The findings indicate that the PPP model implemented in the development of the Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) Library and Museum building, integrated with the restoration of Candi Kimpulan, successfully created a progressive preservation zone, functional space reconciliation and enhanced the site's cultural significance. Collaboration among stakeholders in this project ensures the sustainability of cultural preservation, creating multifunctional spaces that support education, research, and maintenance. In conclusion, the PPP approach has proven effective in supporting sustainable cultural heritage preservation, making Candi Kimpulan a successful model for other preservation projects. Abstract

In the implementation of the land reform program, deviations occurred by tenant farmers as recipients of land redistribution by transferring ownership rights of absentee land to others through a deed of sale and purchase, without the approval of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs. This happened because the tenant farmers did not fulfill their obligation to pay the required fees after being granted the agricultural land, leading to land disputes, as seen in the District Court Decision No. 165/Pdt.G/2014/PN in conjunction with the Bandung High Court Decision No. 346/PDT/2016/PT.BDG in conjunction with the Supreme Court Decision No. 599 K/Pdt/2019. The issue at hand is the validity of the transfer of ownership rights of absentee land based on the deed of sale and purchase No. 01/Depok/1967 in this case and the impact of the Supreme Court Decision No. 599/K/PDT/2019 on the validity of absentee land. This thesis employs normative juridical research methods. The validity of the deed contradicts Article 14 paragraph (4) of Government Regulation No. 224 of 1961 concerning the Implementation of Land Distribution and Compensation, and its impact is that the land returns to the original owner before the land was declared absentee, with the land being returned to the respective heirs. However, the heirs do not reside where the land is located, thus they must immediately transfer the agricultural land to another party who resides in the same area as the land, in accordance with Article 3c of Government Regulation No. 41 of 1964 concerning the Implementation of Land Distribution and Compensation.

Abstract

This research aims to see the results of developing learning media based on Toontastic animated videos on theme 5, sub-theme 1, learning 1 Class IV, SD Negeri 060874, Medan Perjuangan District. Toontastic Animation Video-Based Learning Media was developed through the R&D (Research and Development) method with the development model being ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The Toontastic Animation Video-Based Learning Media developed has reached the effectiveness criteria because it can be applied well to students. Based on the results of the tests carried out, it is known that the pre-test average is 35, while the average post-test score is 90. This shows that students' post-test results have improved compared to the pre-test. The percentage of post-test scores is 90% in the category "Very Effective so that Toontastic Animation Video Based Learning Media in theme 5 sub theme 1 learning 1 class IV is very effective to be applied to the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy agent used for the treatment of various types of cancer. However, the use of cisplatin as a chemotherapy agent is limited by drug resistance and side effects due to the formation of inactive metabolites from the conjugation reaction between cisplatin and Glutathione S-Transferase (GST). Thus, Glutathione (GSH) and Glutathione S-Transferase (GST) are essential in controlling cisplatin resistance. This study aims to evaluate the use of a combination of cisplatin with GSH-depleting agents and GST inhibitors to overcome or reduce cisplatin resistance in various cancer cell types in vitro and enhance cisplatin's cytotoxic activity. This research was conducted using a systematic literature review method, with a literature search across two international databases, PubMed and Science Direct, for publications from 2013 to 2024. From 15 selected journals, various GSH-depleting agents and GST inhibitors were found to improve the cytotoxic effects of cisplatin, as analyzed based on data on the levels of GSH and GST in the cells and the percentage of viable cells (% cell viability), which showed a significant decrease. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights into the development of cancer therapies using cisplatin as a chemotherapy agent.

Abstract

Sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia masih belum memiliki kepastian hukum atas tanah yang mereka kuasai dikarenakan rendahnya tingkat pendaftaran tanah secara menyeluruh. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, maka Pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan sebagai upaya percepatan pendaftaran tanah secara massal di seluruh wilayah Indonesia melalui Instruksi Presiden Republik Indonesia Nomor 2 Tahun 2018 tentang Percepatan Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap di Seluruh Wilayah Republik Indonesia. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya program ini menghadapi berbagai kendala, baik dari sisi administratif maupun kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap proses pendaftarannya, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi secara intensif guna memastikan efektivitas program tersebut dalam mewujudkan kepastian hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi dan dampak pelaksanaan program Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap dalam memberikan kepastian hukum bagi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif, dengan pendekatan yang berfokus pada kajian peraturan perundang-undangan terkait pendaftaran tanah serta analisis dokumen hukum yang relevan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui studi kepustakaan yang mencakup undang-undang, peraturan pemerintah, keputusan menteri, dan dokumen hukum lainnya yang terkait dengan Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap secara normatif sudah sesuai dengan kerangka hukum yang ada, namun terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam implementasinya, seperti kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap proses pendaftaran serta beberapa hambatan administratif di lapangan. Dampak positif dari program ini meliputi peningkatan kepemilikan sertipikat tanah yang berpengaruh terhadap kepastian hukum. Meskipun demikian, terdapat tantangan dalam hal kepastian hukum terhadap tanah yang belum terdaftar serta diperlukan adanya peningkatan sosialisasi terkait kewajiban masyarakat dalam proses pendaftaran tanah yang dikuasainya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah meskipun secara normatif Pendaftaran Tanah Sistematis Lengkap telah memberikan dasar hukum yang jelas, tetapi masih diperlukan peningkatan dalam hal implementasi di lapangan agar tujuan kepastian hukum bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat Indonesia dapat tercapai secara optimal.
