Abstract

Abstract : Developing a community of environmental concerns may be effective through environmental education in schools. As a place of school learning has a special role to play, schools can help students to understand the impact of human behavior on this earth. However, the increasingly uncontrollable environmental problems show that environmental education has not yet succeeded in shaping the human character who cares about the environment. Based on the description of the background then the formulation of the problem in this study is 1. How the role of teacher to the environmental caring character of high students SMA N 1 Benai. 2. How is the caring character of high studen SMA N 1 Benai. 3. How is the influence of the teachers role to the environmental caring character of high students SMA N 1 Benai. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher's role on the environmental caring character of students in SMA N 1 Benai. Subjects in this study are SMA N 1 Benai and all students of grade X and XI SMA N 1 Benai. SMA N 1 Benai amounted to 53 people, and X students amounted to 186 students and XI students amounted to 194 students. In determining the sample using purposive sampling (ie 10% of the 53 teachers and 380 students to 5 teachers and 36 people students. Data gathered through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. In analyzing the data using quantitative discrete techniques using statistical tests.The results showed that there is a significant influence between the role of teachers to the students' environmental cares can be proved from the results of data analysis. The process of planting the role of teachers to the character of environmental care is quite effective. Test data analysis by using simple linear regression yield "F" count equal to 0.76, F count bigger than F table with significance 5% is equal to 0,02. So that hypothesis testing is accepted. Based on the above analysis test can be concluded that the teacher role to the formation of students' caring character.Keywords: Influence of Teacher's Role, Character, Caring Environment

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the effect of acceptance of the scholarship on learning outcomes among students who received scholarships in the student environment PPKn FKIP University of Riau. Formulation of the problem in this research is: "Are the scholarships effect on student learning outcomes PPKn FKIP University of Riau?". This study aims to determine the effect of granting scholarships to student learning outcomes PPKn FKIP University of Riau. This research was conducted at the University of Riau Pekanbaru PPKn FKIP in October 2015. This study is a quantitative descriptive population in this study is PPKn FKIP Riau University Students. The study population was 50 students with a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments, namely a questionnaire with a total of 35 statements / questions. Thus, the hypothesis formulated "The existence of a positive influence scholarships to student learning outcomes PPKn FKIP Riau University". This is evidenced by testing the hypothesis between variables X and Y, obtained F count of 2,620, calculated F value is then compared with the value of F table with a confidence level of 95%, a significant level of 5% and df I (n-2) or 50 -2 = 48, then F table is equal to 2.20. Because the F count> F table (2.620> 2.20). So this hypothesis Ho is rejected Ha accepted, meaning that there are significant effect between the influence of scholarships to student learning outcomes PPKn FKIP University of Riau. R Square of 0.57 or 57%. It means that donations significantly influence the awarding of scholarships to the learning outcomes of students is 57%, while 43% (100% - 57%) influenced by other variables that are not included in this study.   Keywords: Scholarship, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was made with the backgruond of nationalismin border communities releted to the dependence of border communitieson meeting the needsof life with the state of Malaysia. Dependence in the form of product circulation is dominated by products from Malaysia. So based on this phenomenon the aothorstook a study entitled “The Implementationof the Nationalism Attitudes of CommunitiesAgainst Foreign Ptoducts in Dwitunggal Village, Rangsang district, Meranti Islands Regency”. This research aims to find out how the Implementation of the NationalismAttitudes towards Foreign Products in Dwitunggal Village, Rangsang district, Meranti Islands Regency. This research is a discriptive qualitative research, whit the informants of the research are the village, using interviews. The results of the study illustrate that the implementation of the nationalism attitude of border communities abuot nationalism, love of the motherland, safeguarding what is owned by the state, willing to defendand defend and cauntry, in terms of using products originating from Malaysia to meet the necessities of life, onlu forced or no other choice. Furthermore, the reasons for the acceptance of originating from Malaysia are: lack for buyer interest in domestic products, lack of quality of domestic products rathen than foreign products, lack of goverment attention on domestic products, And coercion from the community to meet their needs. The sugestion from this research is that the government should pay more attention to border communities towars their basic needs, where teh government should concentrate more products that come from whithin the country, so people are no longer dependeent on products originating from Malaysia.Key Words: Nationalism Attitudes, Society, Foreign Products

Abstract

Abstrack: this research was effected by several factors that are considered to greatly affect the implementation of the Literacy Movement Schools which further shortened with GLS good which is an inhibitor of factor or factor endowments in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Formulation of the problem in this research is "what are the factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru?". This research aims to find out what factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru in August-September 2018. This research is quantitative deskriftif which became the population in this research is 79 Teachers and learners 1185 total amounted to 1261. The sample in this study is taken based on the technique of "Stratified Sample". Where the class is taken i.e. XI and class teacher. Data collection instruments namely observation, documentation, question form and interview. Data Analysis with quantitative descriptive. The calculation of the percentage of overall respondents answer on factor endowments by respondents learners with indicators and infrastructure which stated "Yes" i.e. of 96.03%. And infrastructure by the 8th guru of respondents (eight) sub indicator of 100%, but on understanding indicators educators and education amounted to 95%, and on the power indicator support Government of 68.75%. Then it can be inferred the factors in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru that a factor supporting most high is an indicator of "facilities and infrastructure", while the teacher the highest barrier to be a factor in the implementation of the GLS in SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru is an indicator of "Power support Community".Keywords: Factors, School Literacy Movement

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on lecture activities carried out through social media, due to the corona virus outbreak in Indonesia. Such conditions encourage educators to use social media as a learning tool, therefore lecturers at the Riau University Civics Study Program carry out the teaching and learning process using social media as has been applied at Riau University in order to keep learning created, even in the conditions of the Covid 19 outbreak. which limits students and lecturers from meeting face to face. Based on this phenomenon, a problem formulation was drawn, namely how the student learning behavior of the Riau University Civics Study Program was using social media. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning behavior of students in the Civics Study Program by using Social Media as a learning tool. In this study, the method used is descriptive quantitative. The data collection instrument used in this study is a questionnaire consisting of 27 questions from 11 indicators. The population of this study were students of the Riau University Civics Study Program. The sample in this study was taken by proportional stratified random sampling with a total sample of 68 people. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the learning behavior of students of the Riau University Civics Study Program using social media is in the "Good" category.Key Words: Learning behaviour,College student , Social Media

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated because in this modern era the world experiences quite strong shocks of values and norms. The moral and ethical crisis of national life, especially the crisis of values in the political aspect, is so pronounced. The deviation of private ethics and public ethics in the state has experienced an increase and chaos of norms as if it continues to occur in state management practices so that in an atmosphere of globalization we are hesitant to face it, with a responsive attitude. This study aims to find out an analysis of the implementation of the Luberjurdil principle of the presidential and vice presidential elections of the republic. Indonesia for the period 2019-2024. In managing the data, the researcher used quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample of this study were 100 people. The data collection used by researchers is to use questionnaires, interviews, observations, documentation. Based on the recapitulation results of the calculation of respondents who answered YES with an average of 91.47 with a percentage of 91.47%, while those who answered NO were with an average of 8.53 with a percentage of 8.53%. So it can be concluded that the analysis of the implementation of the Luberjurdil principle for the presidential and vice presidential elections of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2019-2024 period for university students in Riau, proved that they answered YES with a percentage of 91.47% in the answer range of 51% -100%, then it can be said "Good". Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes of PPKn at SMPN 3 XIII Koto kampar. The formulation of the problem in this study is "is there any influence of the use of Learning Tournament learning models on learning outcomes whether students in class VII SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar?". This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Learning Tournament learning models in improving the learning outcomes of PPKn grade VII SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar in November 2018.  This research is a quantitative descriptive research that was experimental. The population in this study were students of class VII SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar, The sample in this study was taken based on "Random Sampling" technique. where the classes taken into the sample were students of class VII.C (experimental class) who were given a Learning Tournament learning model, and class VII.B (control class) were students who were given conventional methods. Then the data were analyzed using homogeneity test and "t" test. The subject matter that is applied  is the "Formulation and retatification of Indonesian in 1945". Based on the results of the study indicate that there is an influence of learning outcomes between students who use Learning Tournament models and conventional methods in SMPN 3 XIII Koto Kampar. this can be seen from the results ( 14to=4,29"> > 14ttable=2,01290"> ). Thus there is an effect of the use of Learning Tournament learning models on student learning outcomes VII. The magnitude of the effect after being calculated with a gain test shows the Learning Tournament learning model gives an effect on learning outcomes of 0,45 in the medium category. Where there was an increase in the average learning outcomes of the experimental class to 74,16 and the average increase in the learning outcomes of the control class was 59,79. Key Words : Learning Tournament, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by environmental conditions and their influence on the character building of students. This research aims to : (1) To find out the school environment of senior high school 11 Pekanbaru. (2)To find out the character of students in senior high school 11 Pekanbaru. (3)To determine the effect of the school environment on character building for students of senior high school 11 Pekanbaru. Type of this research use quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of class X and X1 in senior high school 11 Pekanbaru as many as 264 students. The research sample was 94 students. The technique used in sampling is the Probability sampling technique. The technique of collecting data use online questionnaires through distributing questionnaires using Google Form. For the data questionnaire obtained using a Likert scale, which is a scale used to measure attitudes, which are arranged in the form of questions and followed by responses that indicate levels with alternative answers Always, Sometimes, Rarely, Never to measure variables X and Y. The data analysis technique that the researcher uses is simple linear regression. The research results from the tests, it is known that the school environment has a positive effect on the formation of student character, meaning that whenever there is an increase in the school environment, there will also be an increase in the formation of student character towards a better direction. This is reinforced and supported by the significance value smaller than the alpha value, namely 0.00 <0.05, meaning that the school environment of senior high school 11 Pekanbaru has a positive and significant effect on the character building of students at senior high school 11 Pekanbaru. Furthermore, it can be seen from the t count is greater than t table (7,265> 1,986 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it shows that the school environment of senior high school 11 Pekanbaru has a positive and significant influence on the character building of students at senior high school 11 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Influence, School Environment, Character

Abstract: The research to have as background that any have a number of communities were apathetic to the election of the mayor and campaign to further high light the image of the candidates then talked about their performances and programs of pair candidate. They are constructive the image more, by doing activity that unusual carried out before they running as mayor. So, there are still many people who don’t knowing about their work programs. The formulation of this research is “What Are the Factors Influence the Behavior of Voters towards Mayoral Election In 2015 At Solok, West Sumatera”. The objective of this research is to know the factors of the voters’ behavior towards mayor election in 2015 at Solok, West Sumatera. Based on the result of this research, it show that factors that influence the behavior of voters towards mayoral election in 2015 at Solok, West Sumatera is vision, Mission, Religion of Muslim, intellectual ability, good attitude and the behavior, breakthrough that ever done, charismatic cases of legal that befall, their background life , their promises during they did campaign, their experienced about political, their job background, their popularity, background of their political parties, their age, their property assets, banners, how their parties do work to persuade the communities, their nota bane, and their male gender.Keyword: Analysis, Behavior of Voters

Abstract

Abstract: The background of the research is that there are several characteristics of the differences in the competencies of male and female teachers in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to compare the competencies of male and female teachers based on student perspectives in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the competencies of male and female teachers based on student perspectives in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. This research method is Quantitative with data collection instruments used namely questionnaire consisting of 28 questions and 3 indicators for male and female teachers. The population in this study were students SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. Data management techniques used in this study using SPSS test t different. The study was conducted from January to February 2020 and based on the t test table, a comparison between male and female teacher competencies based on student perceptions SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. is -0.229 with probability (sig.) 0.615. Because the probability (sig.) 0.615 <0.05 then Ha is rejected and t arithmetic -.0.229 smaller than t table 1.98027 (with df 118 and significant 5%). This means that there is no difference between male and female teacher competency based on perception SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Teacher Competencies, Male Teachers and Female Teachers, Student Perceptions
