Abstract

This study aims to describe the way of preaching the Prophet Muhammad. in the SKI book at class 4 MI level. The type of research used in this research is in the form of library research. The object of study in this study uses reading books and journals that are relevant to the preaching of Rasulullah SAW. The results of the study found discussions in textbooks, namely: (1) Sirriyah Da'wah (secret), Dakwah which was carried out to the closest people such as family, relatives and friends in a clandestine manner. (2) Blatant Da'wah, Da'wah that is carried out openly. (3) The Prophet's Challenges and Fortitude in Preaching. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the author in the SKI text book conveys in the form of questions what can be emulated from the Prophet's da'wah. So that students can express and imitate some of the Prophet's examples after hearing stories from educators about the Prophet's journey in preaching. This can stimulate students to be active in learning.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a strategic agenda in strengthening national and state life amidst diversity. Moderation values ​​such as tolerance, sportsmanship, peace-loving, and respect for differences need to be instilled from an early age to become part of the character of the younger generation. The Pious Children Festival activity carried out through the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in Sihuik-huik Village, South Angkola District was designed as an effort to internalize the value of religious moderation. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a participatory action research method through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the activity showed that the Pious Children Festival was able to be an effective medium in instilling the value of religious moderation through five main strategies: (1) educational, namely instilling moderate understanding through religious-themed competitions; (2) role model, by presenting fair committees and judges; (3) habituation, through the practice of sportsmanship and togetherness; (4) participatory, by involving children, parents, and the community; and (5) recreational, by presenting a fun competition atmosphere. Thus, the Pious Children Festival has been proven to not only strengthen children's religiosity, but also shape moderate characters that are in accordance with the principles of religious moderation.

Abstract

Religious moderation is one of the programs prioritized by the government to build a harmonious religious life within the framework of national and state life. Religious moderation based on the definition given by the ministry of religion through his book which he compiled entitled religious moderation means confidence in the essence of the teachings of the religion he adheres to, while continuing to share the truth as far as religious interpretation is concerned. The values ​​of religious moderation education that are internalized in SKI books at the elementary school level are the values ​​of tolerance, caring for others, mutual affection for others, and being an honest and respectful person to parents and teachers. The type of research used is library research with a qualitative approach. Qualitative approach is research that is used to examine the condition of natural objects. Library research (library research) is a study carried out by collecting information and data needed through various types of materials or materials in the library including; reference books, similar research results, articles, notes, and journals that are relevant to the research problem.

Abstract

Graphic novel is one of many communication mediums with a combination of visual and verbal that mutually reinforces one another. This work remains a novel but uses the style of storytelling like a comic, using many illustrations. Graphic novels tell their stories from the beginning to the end, therefore graphic novels tend to be longer than comics. The content or quality of the story is different; graphic novel features a story with a more detailed content so that reading it requires serious concentration to think and understand what the creator is trying to convey.The graphic novel of Wali Songo's da'wah story, created by Gerdi Wirata Kusuma in 2015, presents nine Wali Songo stories, which are then selected into two stories to be studied, namely Sunan Kudus and Sunan Kalijaga. The graphic novel discusses the brief history of Wali Songo's life, including Wali Songo's propagation method in spreading the teachings of Islam.This research uses qualitative content analysis method, with Scott McCloud's comic theory, namely using comic element in the forms of image selection, selection of flow, and choices of words, moments, and frames. This identification is divided into two aspects; visual and verbal. Visual in the form of sequences of images, point of view, and graphics. Verbal in the form of narrative text that resides in column panels or word bubbles.The result of this research indicates that visual and verbal use are interrelated, such as the use of shots related to narration, the use of narration to mention information that can not be conveyed visually or visual expressions that can not be described verbally. This visual and verbal combination that mutually reinforces one another shows that this graphic novel is able to show the story of the history of Wali Songo's method in spreading teachings of Islam through assimilation of education and cultural arts with symbolic visual observations. The graphic novel of Wali Songo's da'wah story tries to show its history visually and verbally that is easy to understand and is able to become a part of medium of education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the migration journey of the Prophet in the SKI book. This research uses library research methods or library research with a historical approach. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the meaning of hijrah was not merely an attempt to escape from trials and ridicule, but in addition to that meaning, hijrah was also intended as a stepping stone to establish a new society in a safe country, it also had the meaning of affirming the position of Muhammad and his followers. , with the previous era After the Prophet migrated to Medina, Islam developed rapidly. The Prophet made many agreements with non-Muslim groups such as the Prophet's agreement with the Jews of Medina and the agreement with the Quraysh infidels known as the Hudaibiyyah agreement. In addition, there were also many wars that took place between Muslims and infidels, such as the wars of badr, uhud, khandak, hunain, and fathul Mecca.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are differences in the application of the Guided Note Taking (GNT) strategy, Civics teachers only apply two stages of the GNT strategy, namely the opening stage in the form of the teacher rechecking the handout he has made, and the core activity stage in the form of distributing handouts, explaining how to do it, delivering material, and filling in teaching materials (handouts). Civics teachers often do not always carry out the closing stage in the form of reflection and evaluation of learning due to limited time in the learning process. This research methodology uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and document studies. The results of the study revealed that 1) The opening stage in the GNT strategy carried out in Civics learning in class VB, namely: opening learning with greetings and reading prayers together, checking the readiness of students, making apperceptions, conveying learning objectives, and preparing student record sheets. 2) The core activity stage in the GNT strategy, namely: distributing the note sheet, explaining how to fill in the note sheet, delivering the lesson material, and reading the completed note sheet. 3) The closing stage in the GNT strategy, namely: conducting evaluation, reflecting, giving conclusions, and closing the lesson by reading the prayer after learning together and giving greetings. However, evaluation and reflection activities are not carried out at any time due to time constraints in the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving critical thinking skills of students of V MIN 2 Sibolga in the Citizenship Education (PKN) class curriculum. The findings of this study are supported by students' critical thinking skills obtained from the results of the KKM exam and the low level of participation in traditional classroom learning. Using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Non-equivalent Control Group design, this study involved 44 students in the control group (conventional) and the experimental group (PBL). The purpose of the research instrument, namely a double test, was to assess students' critical thinking skills before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group that implemented the PBL model. The average post-test score of the experimental group reached 87.50, far exceeding the control group which only reached 60.42. Statistical analysis using the paired sample t-test produced a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is smaller than α (0.05). This finding indicates a significant positive effect of the application of the PBL model on improving students' critical thinking skills. The results of this study indicate that the PBL model is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in PKN classes. This model successfully encourages students to actively participate in their education and develop their analytical skills. This study recommends the use of the PBL model not only in PKN education but also in other subject areas to maximize students' growth in critical thinking. The application of the PBL model can be a potential solution to overcome the challenges of improving students' achievement and critical thinking skills at the highest level of elementary school.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis penerapan punishment untuk menumbuhkan disiplin siswa di MIN 4 Medan Barat dengan rumusan kajian yaitu pertama, bentuk-bentuk punishment, kedua penerapan punishment, dan ketiga pengaruh punishment terhadap siswa yang indisiplin. Untuk mendapatkan hasil riset, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan instrument pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pertama bentuk-bentuk punishment di antaranya punishment fisik seperti membersihkan sekolah bagi peserta didik yang melanggar peraturan sekolah berupa terlambat datang ke sekolah dan tidak memakai pakaian yang tidak sesuai peraturan sekolah, berdiri di depan kelas bagi peserta didik yang tidak mengerjakan tugas selama proses belajar langsung kurang lebih selesai pergantian mata pelajaran. Punishment non fisik dalam bentuk menghafal atau menjelaskan apa yang sudah dipelajari, punishment ini bagi peserta didik yang tidak mendengarkan penjelasan guru. Kedua, penerapan punishment di MIN 4 Medan Barat diharapkan program hukuman atau punishment mampu menjadi jembatan antara proses dan usaha dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinan bagi siswa dan dapat berguna bagi siswa yang belum disiplin terhadap peraturan sekolah. Ketiga, pengaruh punishment terhadap siswa yang indisiplin di MIN 4 Medan Barat yaitu banyak siswa tiba di sekolah sebelum bel berbunyi, sudah memakai pakaian yang sesuai dengan peraturan, siswa mengerjakan tugas dengan tepat waktu dan dapat mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor tentang etika peserta didik, hambatan yang dialami, dan solusi yang dilaksanakan oleh guru dalam mengimplementasikan etika peserta didik di SD Negeri 107399 Bandar Khalifah. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskkriptif dengan mengggunakan pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Guna keabsahan data, peneliti menggunakan trianggulas. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, etika peserta didik dalam berinteraksi dengan gurunya diantaranya yaitu duduk dengan sopan di depan guru, tidak boleh menyelah pembicaraan guru, mendengarkan perkataan guru, jika peserta didik tidak mengerti sesuatu bertanyalah dengan hormat dan lembut, ikuti saran yang diberikan oleh guru. kedua, hambatan peserta didik dalam beretika di sekolah diantaranya yaitu peserta didik tidak disiplin dan bolos sekolah, peserta didik tidak beretika kepada teman seperti suka mengejek temannya dan mengambil barang temannya, tidak menghargai guru menjelaskan di depan dan berbicara kepada teman saat guru menjelaskan , peserta didik yang tidak beretika ketika bermain pada temannya. Ketiga, untuk solusi peserta didik yang tidak disiplin yang bolos sekolah saat belajar dengan cara memperhatikan siswa sehingga mereka tertarik datang kesekolah dan merasakan manfaat sekolah dengan melakukan pengenalan terhadap apa minat setiap siswa dan menanyakan apa yang menyulitkan mereka belajar.
