Abstract

Peningkatan produktivitas sangat penting untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sumber daya, khususnya pada lini produksi mesin peleburan (filter assembly) di PT IEI. Penelitian ini berfokus pada peningkatan produktivitas melalui pengukuran Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yaitu metode yang digunakan untuk menilai efisiensi mesin produksi dengan mengevaluasi tingkat ketersediaan, kinerja, dan kualitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai OEE lini produksi mesin peleburan A di PT IEI masih belum optimal, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan terstruktur untuk meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode lean manufacturing dan siklus PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) untuk mengidentifikasi inefisiensi dan menerapkan perbaikan proses. Strategi perbaikan utama melibatkan penambahan sistem troli pada proses filter assembly, yang menghasilkan pengurangan waktu siklus yang signifikan dari 267,15 detik menjadi 145,85 detik, sekaligus meningkatkan output produksi harian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi lean manufacturing yang terstruktur dapat secara efektif meningkatkan efisiensi dan daya saing manufaktur.

Abstract

This research explores the symbolic meanings contained in the traditional dish of arsik fish using the semiotic perspective of Charles Sanders Peirce. In Batak Toba culture, arsik is not merely considered food, but as a medium for conveying social, spiritual, and cultural values. This study was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach, through direct observation at customary ceremonies, interviews with local informants, visual documentation, and relevant literature studies. The analysis was carried out based on three categories of signs in Peirce's theory: icon, index, and symbol. Iconic characteristics were found in the presentation of arsik, which maintains its whole form, distinctive color, and large size, reflecting values of integrity and hope. Meanwhile, indexical aspects emerge from the connection of arsik with meanings of fertility, harmony, and blessings.Symbols are interpreted through the role of arsik as a marker of cultural identity and a spiritual means in various customary rituals such as weddings, seven-month ceremonies, and the lifting of sidi. This finding shows that traditional food like arsik is a medium of cultural communication rich in meaning and plays an important role in preserving local cultural heritage.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing university students’ ability to solve environmental pollution problems, with mathematical literacy as a moderating variable. Conducted in Indonesia, the research adopted a quasi-experimental non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design involving 64 biology education students from Universitas Pakuan. Participants were assessed using open-ended problem-solving tests and a rubric aligned with the PISA framework. Results from two-way ANOVA showed significant effects of the learning model (F(1, 58) = 32.84, p < .001, η² = .216) and mathematical literacy levels (F(2, 58) = 29.17, p < .001, η² = .201) on problem-solving performance. Although both groups improved by 18.75 points from the pretest to the post-test, the PBL group outperformed the control. Post hoc analysis (Tukey HSD) revealed that students with high mathematical literacy achieved the highest scores (M = 91.8, SD = 3.7), confirming its moderating effect. These findings underscore the value of integrating mathematical literacy into PBL to promote contextual learning and real-world problem-solving. Future studies should explore broader samples and longitudinal impacts across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-comic learning media for teaching imperative sentences in fifth-grade Indonesian language classes. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) method based on the ADDIE model, the development process includes stages such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The resulting product underwent expert validation, receiving feasibility scores of 89.23% from media experts and 92.30% from language experts, both of which were categorised as “very feasible.” A limited trial was conducted with 29 fifth-grade students, yielding a positive response rate of 81.10%. The e-comic media integrates visual, interactive, and narrative elements tailored to the characteristics of the digital native generation, thereby increasing students’ learning interest and engagement. The findings indicate that e-comic media is not only highly feasible but also effective in enhancing learning motivation and participation in Indonesian language lessons. This media provides a practical and innovative solution for addressing the need for engaging instructional tools in primary education, supporting educators in optimising the learning experience for young students.

Abstract

Komunikasi digital dalam layanan pelanggan e-commerce Indonesia menunjukkan dinamika pragmatik yang kompleks, dimana penjual harus menyeimbangkan efisiensi bisnis dengan sensitivitas interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tindak tutur dan strategi kesantunan yang digunakan penjual dalam interaksi layanan pelanggan online di platform Shopee. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari percakapan chat antara toko @Glad2Glow Official Store dengan pelanggannya, kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan teori tindak tutur Searle dan teori kesantunan Brown & Levinson. Hasil menunjukkan dominasi tindak tutur direktif, komisif, dan ekspresif dengan strategi mitigasi melalui penggunaan kata "mohon", sapaan personal "kak/mimin", dan struktur kalimat tidak langsung. Temuan mengungkap bahwa kesuksesan komunikasi layanan pelanggan digital bergantung pada kemampuan mengintegrasikan aspek pragmatik dengan konteks budaya komunikasi Indonesia. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori pragmatik dalam komunikasi mediasi teknologi dan memberikan wawasan praktis bagi optimalisasi layanan pelanggan e-commerce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan dimensi self-efficacy (generalisasi, level, dan kekuatan) pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dalam Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang terintegrasi dengan prinsip Understanding by Design (UbD). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling sehingga menghasikan tiga siswa kelas XI. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes pemecahan masalah matematis, dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menunjukkan penguasaan ketiga dimensi self efficacy tidak berhasil mencapai tahap pemeriksaan ulang dalam proses pemecahan masalah. Siswa yang menguasai dua dimensi gagal menyelesaikan tahap perencanaan dan pemeriksaan ulang, sedangkan siswa yang hanya menguasai satu dimensi berhasil mencapai tahap pemahaman masalah saja. Temuan ini mengungkap kondisi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat self efficacy siswa.

Abstract

General Background: Reading literacy is a critical competency for elementary students, especially in the context of Indonesia’s low international reading scores. Specific Background: Despite the integration of literacy programs, traditional learning media have failed to maintain students’ interest and improve comprehension. Knowledge Gap: Limited interactive and engaging digital learning tools tailored to Indonesian cultural values hinder literacy development. Aims: This study aims to develop and evaluate a digital flipbook learning medium using fairy tales to improve reading literacy among third-grade students. Results: Implementing the ADDIE model, the flipbook was validated by media, language, and content experts with “very good” ratings, and applied to 38 students at SDN Panaragan 3. Significant literacy improvement was recorded in 89.5% of participants (N-Gain = 0.74, categorized as “High”), supported by Wilcoxon test and effect size analysis (58%). Novelty: The innovation lies in integrating Canva and Simplebooklet for culturally embedded storytelling and interactive multimedia features to enhance engagement and comprehension. Implications: Flipbooks show promise as scalable, user-friendly digital media for literacy instruction in primary education and suggest pathways for future research in digital pedagogy rooted in local context.Highlight : Flipbook media significantly improved reading literacy, shown by a 0.74 N-Gain score (high category). The ADDIE model guided systematic development, from needs analysis to evaluation. Validation by experts confirmed the flipbook's quality in design, language, and content. Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan hasil observasi di TK Pembina Kecamatan Mempura diperoleh hasil kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan belum berkembang dengan baik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh materi yang kurang mampu diterima oleh anak. Penggunaan media yang digunakan di kelas kurang optimal, sehingga pembelajaran terlihat biasa saja dan kurang menarik minat anak untuk belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh game edukatif Wordwall terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pembina kecamatan Mempura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini populasi yang dijadikan objek adalah anak-anak TK Pembina Kecamatan Mempura usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 15 orang. Peneliti menggunakan Sampel jenuh yang berjumlah 15 anak. Terdapat pengaruh Game edukatif Wordwall terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pembina kecamatan Mempura. Hasil ini dijelaskan oleh nilai t hitung>t tabel (20,073>2,145) dan nilai sig<0,05 (0,00<0,05).

Abstract

This community service program aims to assist mathematics teachers in designing differentiated instruction based on contextual learning. The background of this activity is the need to enhance teachers’ capacity in developing learning strategies that accommodate differences in students’ abilities, interests, and learning styles, so that the learning process becomes more inclusive and meaningful. The method used is descriptive, consisting of training, discussions, and mentoring in lesson design practices. This program emphasizes the application of differentiation principles in the context of mathematics learning that is relevant to everyday life. The results show that teachers gained a better understanding of differentiated instruction and were able to integrate contextual approaches into their lesson designs. Thus, this program is expected to strengthen teachers’ competencies in creating adaptive and relevant learning experiences that support 21st-century skills development.

Abstract

Sustainability awareness in secondary school students is an important element in modern education that aims to address global challenges such as climate change and environmental degradation. This study used a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to evaluate the level of sustainability awareness, the effectiveness of learning media, and the challenges of implementing sustainability-based learning. The analysis was conducted on 10 articles selected based on strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, using the PRISMA method and NVivo software. Results show that students' emotional awareness is at the highest level, followed by sustainability knowledge, while behavioral awareness is still low. Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)-based learning media proved most effective, followed by web-based applications and learning modules. Key challenges include teacher readiness, time constraints, and learning resources. The study concludes that there is a need for the integration of sustainability values in the curriculum, intensive training for teachers, and the use of innovative learning media to improve the success of sustainability education.
