Abstract

Kepemimpinan memiliki beberapa indikator penting yang dapat mencerminkan kualitas dan efektivitas seorang pemimpin dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Beberapa indikator tersebut antara lain definisi kepemimpinan, peran kepemimpinan, fungsi kepemimpinan, serta gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan dalam sebuah organisasi atau tim kerja. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk menganalisis indikator-indikator kepemimpinan yang diterapkan pada Tim Kerja SMA Balai Besar Penajaminan Mutu Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka (library research). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengakses berbagai sumber, seperti buku, jurnal, dan riset-riset terkait yang sudah ada untuk memperoleh informasi yang relevan mengenai kepemimpinan. Selain itu, teknik pengumpulan data juga dilakukan melalui observasi langsung terhadap penerapan kepemimpinan di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan dan peran kepemimpinan dalam Tim Kerja SMA BBPMP Jatim telah terlaksana dengan baik. Pemimpin dalam organisasi tersebut telah menjalankan tanggung jawabnya sesuai dengan peran dan fungsi yang diharapkan. Beberapa elemen penting, seperti peran, fungsi, dan gaya kepemimpinan, telah diterapkan secara efektif dan disesuaikan dengan karakter serta pendekatan kepemimpinan masing-masing pemimpin. Gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan sesuai dengan situasi dan kebutuhan tim menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin Tim Kerja SMA BBPMP Jatim berhasil dalam mengelola tim secara efektif dan memberikan motivasi kepada anggotanya untuk mencapai tujuan bersama.

Abstract

The rapid development of social media and the internet has raised concerns about its impact on children's language acquisition processes, especially in the family context. In Muslim families, the use of digital media such as YouTube is often part of children's daily lives. This study aims to reveal how the digital environment, especially YouTube social media, plays a role in children's Arabic vocabulary acquisition in Muslim families. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the study consisted of several Muslim families who actively use social media, especially YouTube, in their children's daily activities. Data collection was carried out through direct observation and in-depth interviews with parents and children, to explore digital media consumption practices and language interactions that occur. The results of the study show several main findings. The digital environment plays a role in enriching children's Arabic vocabulary through audiovisual content. The active involvement of parents in directing and accompanying the use of social media greatly determines the effectiveness of language acquisition. Vocabulary acquisition patterns are formed through exposure to Arabic content with Islamic nuances. There are supporting factors (educational content, controlled duration, mentoring) and inhibiting factors (irrelevant content, passive consumption) from the digital environment. The language acquisition process occurs informally but significantly in the family environment. Social digital environments such as YouTube have great potential in supporting informal Arabic language learning at home. In a psycho-sociolinguistic perspective, this study emphasizes the importance of the role of Islamic families in filtering and mentoring children's digital media consumption. Therefore, the use of digital media must be done consciously and structured in the context of language education.   Perkembangan pesat media sosial dan internet telah menimbulkan kekhawatiran mengenai dampaknya terhadap proses pemerolehan bahasa anak, khususnya dalam konteks keluarga. Dalam keluarga Muslim, penggunaan media digital seperti YouTube kerap menjadi bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana lingkungan digital, khususnya media sosial YouTube, berperan dalam pemerolehan kosakata bahasa Arab pada anak-anak dalam keluarga Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas beberapa keluarga Muslim yang secara aktif menggunakan media sosial, terutama YouTube, dalam aktivitas keseharian anak-anak mereka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua dan anak, guna menggali praktik konsumsi media digital serta interaksi kebahasaan yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa temuan utama. Lingkungan digital berperan dalam memperkaya kosakata bahasa Arab anak melalui konten audiovisual. Keterlibatan aktif orang tua dalam mengarahkan dan mendampingi penggunaan media sosial sangat menentukan efektivitas pemerolehan bahasa. Pola pemerolehan kosakata terbentuk melalui paparan konten berbahasa Arab yang bernuansa Islami. Terdapat faktor pendukung (konten edukatif, durasi penggunaan yang terkontrol, serta pendampingan) dan faktor penghambat (konten yang tidak relevan dan konsumsi yang bersifat pasif) yang berasal dari lingkungan digital. Proses pemerolehan bahasa berlangsung secara informal namun signifikan dalam lingkungan keluarga. Lingkungan digital sosial seperti YouTube memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Arab secara informal di rumah. Dari perspektif psiko-sosiolinguistik, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran keluarga Muslim dalam menyaring dan mendampingi konsumsi media digital anak. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media digital perlu dilakukan secara sadar dan terstruktur dalam konteks pendidikan bahasa.

Abstract

Arabic as a foreign language has high complexity, especially in writing skills, so it requires innovative learning strategies. Collaborative Picture Sequencing based on images and cooperation, with Vygotsky's theory, is effective in improving writing skills, motivation, and cooperation, although it requires attention to member dominance and time. Based on this context, this study aims to understand the dynamics of Collaborative Picture Sequencing in Arabic language writing learning, especially through the integration of Vygotsky's collaboration theory, so that the strategy can be implemented effectively according to students' learning needs. This study uses a descriptive-analytical qualitative method, with data from observations, interviews, and documentation of writing results before and after the implementation of the strategy. The results of the study show four main findings: [1] Ease of Expressing Ideas through Sequential Images. [2] Dynamics of Collaboration in Language Exchange, [3] Scaffolding in the Zone of Proximal Development, [4] Improving the Quality of Written Products. By understanding these dynamics, teachers are expected to be able to design more effective and contextual writing learning, increase students' motivation and writing skills, as well as become a reference for developing collaboration-based materials so that each student develops according to their potential.

Abstract

Zakat produktif memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung keberlanjutan pendidikan pesantren, terutama pada lembaga yang belum memperoleh bantuan pemerintah. Penelitian ini membahas manajemen pendayagunaan zakat oleh BAZNAS Kota Surabaya melalui Program Berdakwah yang difokuskan pada pemberian insentif guru pesantren dan bantuan biaya pendidikan santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan program serta dampaknya terhadap kesejahteraan pendidik dan keberlangsungan pendidikan di pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, melalui pengumpulan data dari dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan pengelola program. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa program telah menjangkau lebih dari 15 lembaga pesantren, dengan dua guru dan sekitar 10% santri per lembaga sebagai penerima manfaat. Meskipun terdapat kendala dalam pelaporan dan pemahaman mekanisme program, inisiatif ini dinilai efektif dalam memperkuat peran pesantren sebagai pusat pemberdayaan umat. Program ini juga berpotensi meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap pengelolaan zakat. Dengan demikian, pengelolaan zakat produktif oleh BAZNAS dapat menjadi model pemberdayaan pendidikan berbasis pesantren yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah lain.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat oleh Kelompok 114 UINSA ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang digitalisasi dan legalisasi UMKM di Desa Karangrejo, Kabupaten Ngawi, guna memaksimalkan peluang pasar di era digital dan meningkatkan kualitas UMKM tersebut. Program utama yang dijalankan dalam kegiatan ini pertama adalah digitalisasi UMKM yang berupa pendaftaran lokasi usaha pada aplikasi Google Maps, Pembuatan QRIS dan pemasaran pada kanal sosial media Instagram, dan kedua adalah pemberian legalitas izin usaha yang berupa Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), Pangan Industri Rumah Tangga (PIRT) dan sertifikat halal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) melalui lima tahapan, yaitu menemukan potensi dari asset yang ada (discovery), mengidetinfikasi impian/tujuan dan visi jangka panjang (dream), menyusun strategi untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut (design), mendorong pelaku UMKM untuk mendalami potensinya serta mengorganisir dan mengarahkannya (define), dan melaksanakan perencanaan yang telah ditentukan serta melakukan evaluasi secara berkala (destiny). Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 50 UMKM potensial di desa Karangrejo yang masuk pada program digitalisasi dan legalisasi. Pada program digitalisasi terdapat 41 UMKM yang meminta untuk didaftarkan pada Google Maps, 24 UMKM dibuatkan QRIS dan 20 UMKM yang meminta dibantu memasarkan usahanya pada sosial media Instagram. Pada program legalisasi terdapat 24 UMKM yang membutuhkan NIB, 14 PIRT dan 9 sertifikat halal. Dengan demikian, proses pendampingan dan pelatihan digitalisasi maupun legalisasi UMKM di desa karangrejo tersebut, sebagai bentuk usaha dalam mengembangkan dan meningkatkan usaha yang sesuai dengan kondisi pasar pada era digital ini.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid advancement of digital technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), which has become a central topic in contemporary educational development. This research aims to examine the role of AI in post-pandemic Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) by assessing students’ satisfaction with AI-assisted learning. The PIECES framework—encompassing Performance, Information and Data, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency, and Service—was employed to evaluate six key dimensions of system use. A total of 61 PAI students participated in this study through a Likert-scale questionnaire. The findings show that students generally express satisfied perceptions toward the implementation of AI in PAI learning, with most domains falling within the satisfied category and the Performance domain showing a neutral response. These results indicate that AI contributes to improving access to learning resources, supporting learning autonomy, enhancing efficiency, and facilitating more interactive learning experiences. Furthermore, the integration of AI was perceived to remain compatible with ethical and spiritual values in Islamic education when applied responsibly. The novelty of this study lies in its application of the PIECES framework within the context of Islamic Religious Education, providing an empirical model for evaluating the acceptance and effectiveness of AI-assisted learning in post-pandemic higher education. This research offers theoretical and practical insights into how AI can be responsibly integrated into religious education to strengthen learning quality, digital adaptability, and student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the principle of shura in bureaucratic leadership decision-making in Islamic educational institutions. The main objective of this study is to examine how the principle of shura can be applied in the context of bureaucratic leadership in educational institutions, as well as to identify the challenges faced in the implementation process. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research, which was conducted by analyzing various literature related to shura, decision-making in bureaucracy, and Islamic educational leadership. The results of the study show that the application of the principle of shura in decision-making can increase the legitimacy of decisions, strengthen the participation of members of the institution, and produce more inclusive and fair policies. However, the biggest challenges found are resistance to change in the established bureaucratic structure and limitations in creating space for effective deliberation. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the principle of shura in bureaucratic leadership in Islamic educational institutions, which has been discussed more in the context of government and political leadership. This research is expected to make a significant contribution to developing a more participatory and Islamic values-based model of educational leadership.

Abstract

This study explores the use of Canale and Swain’s communicative competence framework in teaching Arabic through contextual activities in the Merdeka Curriculum. The issue is relevant because schools are expected to help students communicate more naturally, not only master grammar. The research aimed to see how teaching practices encourage the development of grammatical, discourse, sociolinguistic, and strategic abilities. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied by gathering information through interviews, classroom observations, and a review of teaching documents. The data were examined through a gradual process of sorting, organizing, and interpreting. The results show that contextual tasks and project-based work give students more room to improve their grammatical and discourse skills, which also supports their confidence and fluency. In contrast, sociolinguistic and strategic skills have not grown as strongly, mainly because authentic materials are scarce, lesson time is limited, and teachers need more support in designing communicative activities. The study underscores the continued relevance of communicative competence in Arabic learning and points to the importance of providing richer learning media, performance-based assessments, and sustainable teacher development. Future studies may look into digital and authentic resources to strengthen all components of communicative competence.

Abstract

Arabic language learning has been dominated by traditional methods that emphasize memorization and analysis of classical texts, thus not supporting the development of 21st-century skills. This study aims to formulate an Arabic language learning model based on a multidisciplinary approach that integrates STEM, Islamic values, and local culture to create applicable, contextual, and meaningful learning experiences. The research method is a library research with a critical-analytical approach to the latest national and international literature, particularly those discussing STEM pedagogy, language learning, Islamic values-based education, and the local cultural context. The results of the study indicate that STEM integration allows Arabic to be used as a medium for exploration, discussion, and project production, while Islamic values ​​such as amanah (trust), adab, ta'āwun (respect), and ṣidq (compassion) serve as ethical guidelines in every activity. Local culture serves as a living and relevant context, strengthening motivation and meaning in learning. The proposed operational model emphasizes identification of real problems, linguistic exploration, cross-disciplinary integration, work production, and reflection and evaluation, in accordance with Vygotsky's principles of social constructivism. The contribution of this research is to present a holistic pedagogical framework that combines cognitive, affective, spiritual, and contextual aspects, so that Arabic language learning not only builds language competence, but also Islamic character, cultural awareness, and 21st-century skills that are relevant to global challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of management and psychology to enhance leadership effectiveness at MIN 1 Gresik. In the era of globalization and increasing complexity within educational organizations, leaders’ ability to manage both managerial and psychological aspects has become essential. The research employed a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews and direct observations involving the principal, teachers, and administrative staff. The findings indicate that leaders with a strong understanding of emotional intelligence and group dynamics are able to create a positive and productive work environment. Leaders who are sensitive to the psychological needs of team members and capable of managing conflicts effectively contribute significantly to improving motivation and team engagement. Although there is awareness of the importance of psychological aspects in leadership, a substantial gap remains in the practical application of psychological principles within educational settings. Therefore, interpersonal skills training for leaders and staff is necessary to strengthen managerial competence, which can practically serve as a foundation for designing leadership development programs, formulating human resource development policies, enhancing communication, and fostering a supportive work culture oriented toward improving madrasah performance.
