Abstract

Green House is a program of character education development efforts concerned about the environment in vocational school 2 Muara Enim. The object of this research is Green House in developingconscious environment of character education. The results of the research through observation, interviews and documentation showing students in character education development efforts concerned about the environment goes well, visible from the school atmosphere that is clean, tidy, beautiful and workimg together, look learners responsible and caring in keeping the school environment. Learning activities are no longer merely excavation of knowledge but at the same time utilizing the environment as a medium of learning, school residents are also encouraged to develop efforts to improve the management and quality of the environment both inside and outside school.

Abstract

This research started from the condition in each school that lacks awareness of environmental preservation. Adiwiyata School aims to create a school community that cares and is cultured towards the environment. The only problem that remains is when students are asked about the Adiwiyata program there are still those who do not understand the program. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 135 Palembang. The results showed that there are the programs a) Socialization of the implementation involved in the Adiwiyata program policies through meeting b) Make a green house or a nursery c) Making biopori infiltration holes d) There is a special room for processing waste with the 3R principle (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle) e) The existence of hydroponic plants, namely cultivation of plants using water f) Invate students to bring their own drinking bottles and eating places g) Competing in used materials h) Make Adiwiyata monument.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining how the performance of elementary school teachers can be improved through academic supervision conducted by the principal of the elementary school. This research was conducted in 16 Public Elementary School Gelumbang. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection tools using interviews, observation, documentation and literature review. The results of the study stated that the process of academic supervision was carried out by the principal through several stages, namely 1) planning of academic supervision activities; 2) conducting academic supervision; 3) feedback the results of academic supervision; and 4) follow up on the results of academic supervision. The tools for evaluating are in the form of supervision instruments, namely 1) instruments for evaluating the administration of learning devices; 2) instruments for RPP assessment; 3) instruments for evaluating learning implementation; 4) instruments for evaluating learning evaluations; instrument for follow-up; instrument for evaluating teacher performance. The academic supervision can improve the performance of teachers in 16 Public Elementary School Gelumbang.

Abstract

This study determined the development of modules as teaching materials for Anti Narcotics learning, to find out the quality of modules in learning Anti Narcotics in terms of content eligibility, language feasibility, presentation, and images, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials in the form of modules learning in Anti Narcotics. This study uses the Dick and Carey development model. The module feasibility test is carried out by means of product feasibility testing by reviewing trial design and review design and then given an observation sheet (walkthrough sheet) covering the suitability of content, media, and language by media experts, material experts, and linguists. The subjects of the trial were students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan through three stages: individual trials taken by 3 random students, small group trials consisting of 10 students, and field trials consisting of 28 students. The results of research and development of Anti Narcotics module produles namely the quality of the modules developed are valid according to material experts, media experts, and linguists. The Anti Narcotics Module is feasible and effective to be used by students during field trials and is able to assist students in learning drug material. This research is expected to be used as a reference for developing modules on other materials.

Abstract

This study was to know SWOT Analysis of a Computer-Based National Examination at the State Senior High School 1 of Tanjung Raja. The research was qualitative. The data collected by questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed by SWOT analysis. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the SWOT analysis of the main strength factors possessed by State Senior High School 1 of Tanjung Raja was the basic abilities, interests and high motivation of student learning, supported by the qualifications of teacher education in accordance with the subject teacher's diploma, So that student achievement in the implementation of UNBK is sufficient satisfying. While the weakness is the ability to understand students' UNBK questions is still not optimal. The opportunity by State Senior High School 1 of Tanjung Raja in the implementation of UNBK was support by the goverment in Implementation of UNBK. While the threat is that the curriculum created by the government often experiences changes.

Abstract

This study was conducted to know and analyze the process of implementing school adaptation distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic and factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of school adaptation in implementing distance learning during the covid-19 pandemic. In this study, the research method used is the qualitative descriptive analysis method. The data collected was obtained from 30 correspondents from SMA Negeri Kayuagung in Ogan Komering Ilir district using observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the adaptation of schools in implementing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is quite good because of the decisive role of each element involved in its implementation. There were no significant obstacles during school adaptation in implementing distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The skills in using e-learning applications are still low, which are inhibiting factors, so additional training is needed in order to maximize the e-learning system. The supporting factors such as the availability of the Whatsapp application, which can be utilized optimally by many types of users, is the best way to overcome the inhibiting factors in the school adaptation process to implement distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study examined and analyzed the influence of principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance. In this study, the method used was the quantitative. The data were collected using questionnaire. The results showed that there is significant influence of principal's leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance partially and simultaneously. The paper provides the insight of principal for more upgrading leadership style and organizational culture where the school would have good teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aimed at partially and simultaneously identify and analyze the influence of work culture and organizational commitment on the performance of teachers at SD Negeri Sekecamatan Baturaja Timur. This study uses primary data through a total population of 410 people with a sample method, namely a sample representing the total number of teachers at SD Negeri Sekecamatan Baturaja Timur is 202 people. data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques and multiple regression. The results of this study state that 1) there is a significant influence of work culture on the performance of teachers at SD Negeri Sekecamatan Baturaja Timur; 2) there is a significant effect of organizational commitment on the performance of teachers at SD Negeri Sekecamatan Baturaja Timur; 3) there is a significant influence jointly on work culture and organizational commitment to the performance of teachers at SD Negeri Sekecamatan Baturaja Timur.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the effect of teacher work motivation on the performance of SMK teachers in the Banyuasin III Ogan Ilir District of South Sumatra. This is a quantitative study using a survey method. This study was conducted in State Vocational High Schools Banyuasin III and Vocational High Schools, with 80 teachers serving as respondents. Questionnaires and documentation are used to collect data. Construction and content validity are used in the validity test. Cronbach's Alpha is used in the reliability test. The normality, homogeneity, and linearity tests were used in the analysis prerequisite test, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential data analysis techniques. The findings revealed that motivation had an effect on the performance of SMK teachers.

Abstract

This study was aimed at examining the clinical supervision and work motivation towards teacher performance. This study was carried out in SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin III, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province, and included three schools: SMA Negeri 1 Banyuasin III, SMA Negeri 2 Banyuasin III, and SMA Negeri 3 Banyuasin III. The sample size is 95 respondents. The questionnaire, observation and documentation were used as instruments. Data analysis is done in phases to guarantee that the methods are followed correctly and that the study outcomes can be scientifically validated. The results showed that clinician supervision and teacher work motivation have an influence on the performance of public high school teachers in Banyuasin III sub-district, either partially or jointly. This article provides insight to have clinical supervision and work motivation where the school will have good teacher performance.
