Abstract

Improving education quality is a crucial policy in Indonesia, yet Fiqh education in Madrasah Aliyah faces challenges due to potentially unengaging teaching methods. Textbooks play a pivotal role as the primary source of knowledge. This study evaluates the appropriateness of the Class X Fiqh Textbook in the context of contextual learning, aligning teaching material with real-world scenarios for practical student connections. The article specifically focuses on analyzing Class X Fiqh Textbooks in the context of contextual learning. This exploratory and descriptive study uses checklists and documentation to analyze data, incorporating theoretical insights from literature studies. The findings reveal the absence of the constructivism element, the presence of standardized procedural topics like Hajj, Umrah, Qurban, and Aqiqah, and predominantly conceptual material in discussions about wealth ownership release, usury, banks, and insurance. Consequently, students acquire knowledge without a genuine understanding of the content. The findings reveal a deficiency in constructivism within Grade X Fikih teaching materials, particularly in conceptual areas like asset ownership transfer, usury, banks, and insurance. Procedural content related to Hajj and Umrah, Qurban, and Akikah is already standardized. This gap may lead to students acquiring knowledge without a thorough understanding. To enhance comprehension, adjustments or additional constructivist elements are essential in the learning process.

Abstract

The booklet on the diversity of species of magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class of angiosperm plants is one of the learning resources that can be used to help students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop a booklet as a valid learning resource for class X high school plantae material. This research was conducted at the Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which has five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product development begins with designing a booklet on the Canva application and then printing it for further evaluation by expert validators. The results showed that the developed booklet had a validity level of 4.67. So it can be concluded that the magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class diversity booklet of angiosperm plant species as a source of biology learning material for class X high school plantae is very valid.

Abstract

Awareness is needed for teachers and educators in the use and utilization of the school environment as a learning resource for Biology Science. This way, teachers can become more creative in utilizing the environment as a learning source. A training on the utilization of the school environment as a learning resource for Biology Science has been conducted for teachers at MTS Arifah Gowa. The training took place on September 14, 2024. It spanned a one-day duration with 17 participants, all teachers. The training activities were held in the meeting room of Madrasah Arifah Gowa. The training methods employed included socialization and presentation, question and answer sessions, and discussions. The training's effectiveness was evaluated using a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale consisting of 25 statements. Assessment was based on the participants' responses to the statements provided in the questionnaire. The assessment results indicated that the participants' responses to each statement were positive or favorable.

Abstract

Pelatihan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning/PjBL) terintegrasi kearifan lokal bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru di Kabupaten Takalar dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran bermakna yang relevan dengan lingkungan sekitar. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi beberapa tantangan, termasuk kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap penerapan PjBL dan kesulitan mengintegrasikan potensi lokal dalam pembelajaran. Lokasi pelaksanaan pelatihan bertempat di UPT SMAN 7 Takalar yang diikuti oleh 28 orang guru. Metode pelatihan mencakup identifikasi pengetahuan awal, sesi penyampaian materi terkait konsep dasar PjBL dan bagaimana menginterasikan PjBL dengan kearifan lokal. Platform digital juga digunakan untuk mendukung interaksi dan penyampaian materi secara lebih efektif. Efektivitas pelatihan diukur melalui evaluasi berbasis angket kepuasan peserta dengan lima indikator utama, yaitu keandalan (reliability), ketersediaan fasilitas fisik (tangibles), kompetensi pemateri (assurance), responsivitas (responsiveness), dan empati (empathy). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan rata-rata skor kepuasan sebesar 3,664 dari skala 4, dengan indikator keandalan mencatat skor tertinggi (4,0). Guru menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dalam memanfaatkan potensi lokal untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang kontekstual, inovatif, dan bermakna. Pelatihan ini tidak hanya membantu meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap PjBL dan keterampilan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal, tetapi juga mendorong pelestarian budaya dan potensi daerah melalui pendidikan yang relevan dan aplikatif. Abstract

Community service partners are housewives who live in Tritiro Village, Samboang District, Bulukumba Regency. The majority of people's income comes from fishing and the amount is uncertain every month. The location of this service is around a cliff that borders the coast. Yards of residents' houses are generally not used optimally, only left empty and overgrown with wild plants, or some ornamental plants. The solution provided is training in planting family medicinal plants that can be used for consumption of family herbal medicines. If production can exceed needs, produce or plants can be sold to supplement family income. The method is carried out by providing (1) Introduction to family medicinal plants, (2) Counseling on optimizing the use of the home yard in growing family medicinal plants, (3) Introduction to fertile and infertile soil (planting medium), (4) TOGA planting training (family medicinal plants). Keywords: Medicinal plants, Optimizing the home yard.

Abstract

AbstrakLontar merupakan tumbuhan khas KabupatenJeneponto yang selama ini tumbuh melimpah dan telahbanyak dimanfaatkan masyarakat dalam berbagaikeperluan. Tujuan secara umum kegiatan pengabdiankepada Masyarakat ini adalah pemanfaatan Nira Lontar dalam pembuatan kecap bagi Kelompok Tani di DesaPunagaya Kec. Bangkala, Kab. Jeneponto. Tujuan khususdari kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Memanfaatkan bahan dasarnira Lontar dalam pembuatan kecap sehingga dapatmeningkatkan kualitas Lontar sebagai ciri khas daerahKab. Jeneponto; 2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan bagiKelompok Tani dalam memanfaatkan nira lontar untukdijadikan kecap; 3) Meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomimasyarakat Kelompok Tani melalui pembentukan usahapembuatan kecap. Metode yang digunakan yaitu; metodeceramah, tanya jawab, dan metode praktik.Hasil yang dicapai adalah peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dan termotivasi mendapatkan pengetahuanpembuatan kecap berbahan dasar nira lontar yang berasaldari tumbuhan lokal daerah, yaitu tumbuhan lontar. Melalui pelatihan ini masyarakat dapat meningkatkankepedulian dan sikap wirausaha untuk mempertahankankeberlangsungan pemanfaatan tumbuhan Lontar di masa akan datang.Kata Kunci: Nira Lontar, Pembuatan Kecap, Wirausaha, Desa Punagaya. AbstractLontar is a typical plant of Jeneponto Regency which has grown abundantly and has been widely used by the community for various purposes. The general aim of this service activity is the use of Lontar Nira in making soy sauce for the Farmer Group in Punagaya Village, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. The specific objectives of this activity are: 1) Utilizing the basic ingredients of Lontar Nira in making soy sauce, so as to improve the quality of Lontar as a regional characteristic of Jeneponto Regency; 2) Increasing knowledge for Farmer Groups in using Lontar Nira to make soy sauce; 3) Increasing the income of the Farmer Group community through the establishment of a soy sauce manufacturing business. The method used is; lecture method, question and answer, and practice method.The results achieved were that the training participants were very enthusiastic and motivated to gain knowledge of making soy sauce made from Lontar Nira which comes from local plants, namely the Lontar plant. Abstract

One of the sources of livelihood for the community in Manongkoki Village, Takalar Regency, is corn. After making observations, we found that in this area, much agricultural waste is produced, namely corn cobs. As we all know, waste is waste produced from a production process, both industrial and domestic. Moreover, until now, it is still a big problem in society. This phenomenon also occurs in the community of Manongkoki Village. The community only disposes of the corn waste, not using it at all. Seeing this phenomenon, we tried to find one solution to reduce corn cob waste by making it a product that, in addition to its beneficial value, can also later have commercial value. One way is to use the corn cobs as fuel and energy sources. The implementation methods carried out in this activity are (1) observation, (2) demonstration, and (3) direct practice by the community. The utilization of cob waste, the goal achieved is to reduce corn cob waste pollution by converting it into a valuable product, namely briquettes. Briquettes include an alternative technology as a fuel oil substitute and opening business opportunities that can increase income in Manongkoki Village.

Abstract

Abstrak. Fenomena Plant Awareness Disparity (PAD) menggambarkan rendahnya perhatian mahasiswa terhadap tumbuhan dibandingkan objek lain, sehingga berdampak pada menurunnya kesadaran ekologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa calon guru biologi terhadap pembelajaran botani serta peluang penerapan Life-Based Learning (LBL) untuk menanggulangi PAD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain eksploratif. Subjek penelitian adalah 95 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi Universitas Negeri Makassar yang telah menempuh mata kuliah botani. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner terbuka dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian mengungkap enam tema utama, yaitu relevansi pembelajaran botani, pengalaman belajar nyata, manfaat LBL, harapan terhadap pembelajaran, saran perbaikan, dan tantangan PAD. Mahasiswa menilai sebagian besar materi botani cukup relevan dengan kehidupan nyata, meskipun masih terdapat pembelajaran yang cenderung abstrak. Pengalaman belajar nyata melalui observasi lingkungan dan riset sederhana memperkuat pemahaman, namun tidak merata dirasakan seluruh mahasiswa. Penerapan LBL dinilai bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman ilmiah, keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan sikap peduli lingkungan. Harapan mahasiswa mencakup adanya kegiatan lapangan, penelitian sederhana, serta praktikum aplikatif. Saran yang diajukan menekankan perlunya strategi kontekstual, peningkatan fasilitas, dan metode kreatif. Tantangan utama yang diidentifikasi meliputi keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang tumbuhan, minat belajar yang condong ke hewan, dan kebosanan terhadap materi teoretis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan LBL berpotensi besar menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik serta efektif untuk mengurangi PAD. Temuan ini menjadi dasar pengembangan kurikulum botani yang lebih kontekstual, aplikatif, dan berorientasi pada pengalaman kehidupan nyata mahasiswa.Kata Kunci: Life-Based Learning, Plant Awareness Disparity, Mahasiswa Calon Guru Biologi

Abstract

Keterbatasan penguasaan teknologi digital oleh guru menjadi tantangan dalam meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Biologi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru MGMP Biologi Kabupaten Gowa dalam merancang soal interaktif berbasis digital melalui pelatihan intensif dan pendampingan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan metode *Participatory Action Research (PAR)*, yang melibatkan guru sebagai mitra aktif sejak tahap perencanaan hingga evaluasi. Aplikasi yang digunakan meliputi Quiz Creator dan Hot Potatoes sebagai media utama dalam pengembangan asesmen digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta menyatakan materi sesuai kebutuhan, 90% menyatakan pelatihan mendorong partisipasi aktif, dan 85% mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap evaluasi digital. Selain itu, guru juga menunjukkan kemampuan membedakan fitur aplikasi serta menyusun soal dengan struktur logis dan menarik. Namun, aspek kreativitas dalam pemanfaatan multimedia masih perlu ditingkatkan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat literasi digital guru dan mendorong penerapan teknologi dalam evaluasi pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini direkomendasikan untuk dilanjutkan secara berkala, disertai pendampingan lanjutan serta kolaborasi dengan MGMP guna memperluas dampak dan keberlanjutan program.

Abstract

This community engagement activity was conducted in Tarowang Village, Jeneponto Regency, to strengthen the economic independence of housewives through entrepreneurship socialization. The background of this program stems from the limited income opportunities for women in rural areas, where most households depend on traditional agriculture. The main objectives were to enhance the entrepreneurial knowledge and skills of housewives, reduce gender-based economic disparities, and promote the establishment of sustainable micro-enterprises. The methods applied included entrepreneurship socialization, interactive workshops, mentoring sessions, and practical training on business planning, production, marketing, and financial management. The activity involved 35 housewives as participants, of whom 90% reported a significant increase in entrepreneurial knowledge, and 70% showed improved confidence in managing small businesses. After the training, 12 participants successfully initiated home-based enterprises, such as snack production, traditional crafts, and herbal beverage processing, contributing to an average increase of 25% in household income. The results indicate that entrepreneurship socialization effectively enhances women’s participation in local economic activities and fosters a culture of self-reliance. The program’s impact extends beyond economic gains, as it builds social networks, improves decision-making roles for women, and encourages long-term community resilience. Overall, this activity contributes meaningfully to community empowerment by promoting inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship as a driver of rural economic development.
