Abstract

PT. Epson Batam (PEB) adalah perusahaan multinasional dengan jumlah karyawan lebih dari 3000 orang. Banyaknya tamu (non-karyawan) yang datang ke PT. Epson Batam setiap harinya seperti kunjungan dari instansi pemerintah, partner perusahaan, vendor dan supplier, menyebabkan adanya kebutuhan terhadap aplikasi khusus yang dapat memudahkan perusahaan dalam mengelola data-data para tamu yang berkunjung ke perusahaan dan memudahkan pihak pengaman perusahaan dalam melakukan pencatatan dan rekap tamu yang berkunjung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem informasi pengelolaan pengunjung di masa pandemik Covid-19. Berdasarkan maklum balas dari pengguna disimpulkan bahwa sistem yang dibangunkan bisa digunakan dan berfungsi dengan baik tetapi perlu pengembangan yang memungkinkan sistem informasi terintegrasi dengan alat pengukur suhu. Visitor Management Information System during the Covid-19 Pandemic Abstract: PT. Epson Batam (PEB) is a multinational company with more than 3000 employees. The number of guests (non-employees) who come to PT. Epson Batam every day such as visits from government agencies, company partners, vendors and suppliers, causes the need for special applications that can make it easier for companies to manage the data of guests who visit the company and make it easier for company security to record and recap guests who visit the company. This study aims to design a visitor management information system during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the feedback from users, it is concluded that the system developed can be used and functions well but needs development that allows an integrated information system with temperature measuring devices. Abstract

Krisis global pasca merebaknya epidemi Covid-19 berdampak pada proses belajar mengajar (PdP). Masalah utama pdP selama epidemi Covid-19 adalah keterbatasan dalam melakukan kegiatan tatap muka di dalam kelas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bantuan pembelajaran agar PdP dapat berjalan optimal meskipun tidak ada interaksi tatap muka antara guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini menyoroti penerapan Augmented Reality untuk mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh dalam situasi epidemi Covid-19, khususnya dalam topik seni ukiran kayu. Aplikasi selular AR Wood Carving Art menggunakan model desain ADDIE. Aplikasi seluler AR Wood Carving Art dievaluasi berdasarkan kegunaannya (ease of use). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, responden menyetujui bahwa aplikasi selular AR Wood Craving Art berguna dan aplikasi menghemat waktu ketika pengguna menggunakannya sehingga aplikasi selular AR Wood Craving Art efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran yang membuat pengguna lebih produktif, kreatif, dan inovatif. Ease of Use of Augmented Reality as an Online Learning Tool to Improve Student Performance and Achievement in Wood Carving Art Abstract: The global crisis following the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic has had an impact on the teaching and learning process (PdP). The main problem with PdP during the Covid-19 epidemic was the limitation in conducting face-to-face activities in the classroom. Therefore, a learning aid is needed to enable PdP to run optimally even though there is no face-to-face interaction between teachers and students. This research highlights the application of Augmented Reality to support distance learning in the Covid-19 epidemic situation, specializing in Wood Carving Art for the subject of Visual Arts. The AR Wood Carving Art mobile application uses the ADDIE design model. The AR Wood Carving Art mobile application is evaluated based on its ease of use. Based on the result, respondents agree that the AR Wood Craving Art mobile application is useful and the application saves time when users use it, therefore the AR Wood Craving Art mobile application is effectively used in learning which makes users more productive, creative, and innovative. Abstract

Kajian ini adalah mengenai satu Aplikasi Augmented Realiti, dimana ia menjurus kepada memperkenalkan nama-nama haiwan dalam subjek Bahasa Kadazandusun untuk murid Tahun. Selain itu, aplikasi ini dibangunkan sebagai BBM bagi subjek BKD di sekolah rendah, dimana subjek ini masih baru diperkenalkan dan memerlukan BBM yang berbentuk teknologi dalam PDP untuk memastikan pembelajaran lebih bermakna. Objektif utama pembangunan projek ini adalah untuk membangunkan satu aplikasi yang membolehkan murid mengenali nama-nama haiwan dalam Bahasa Kadazandusun secara nyata melalui aplikasi Augmented Realiti. Keadah yang saya gunakan untuk membangunkan aplikasi ini adalah, kaedah ADDIE yang terdiri daripada fasa analisis, fasa reka bentuk, fasa pembangunan, fasa pelaksanaan dan fasa penilaian. Aplikasi ini dibangunkan dengan menggunakan beberapa perisian iaitu, perisian unity 3D, perisian JSK, dan perisian SDK. Pengkaji menggunakan borang soal selidik sebagai instrumen utama kajian untuk mendapatkan maklumat penting daripada respondon untuk dianalisis. Kesimpulannya, aplikasi Augmented Realiti adalah salah satu alat bantu mengajar kepada para guru agar pembelajaran di dalam kelas lebih menarik perhatian murid. Augmented Realiti Application For Introducing Animal Names in Kadazandusun Language Primary School Abstract: This research is about Augmented Reality application, where it leads to introducing animal names in Kadazandusun language subject in primary school year 1. More than that, the application was develop as teaching aids in primary school, where the Kadazandusun language subject newly introduced and need teaching more meaningful. The main objective to this application development is allows students to recognize the Kadazandusun language in real time through Augmented Reality application. The method that I was used to develop the application is, ADDIE method which consists of analysis phase, design phase, development phase, implementation phase and assessment phase. The application was develop using some software, unity 3D software, JSK software and SDK software. The researcher used a questionnaire as the main instrument of the study to option important information from respondents for analysis. In conclusion, Augmented Reality application is one of the teaching aids for teachers so that learning in the classroom is more attractive to students. Abstract

Aplikasi ini memperkenalkan tools perisian Adobe Photoshop dalam kalangan pelajar Multimedia, yang dibangunkan adalah bertujuan untuk membantu pelajar Multimedia untuk mengenali tools perisian Adobe Photoshop dengan cara yang lebih moden iaitu menggunakan AR. Reka bentuk aplikasi ini dibangunkan dengan menggunakan elemen multimedia seperti audio, video, grafik, animasi dan teks. Kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengetahui persepsi pengguna yang ianya merangkumi kebolehgunaan, keberkesanan dan reka bentuk responden terhadap hasil produk akhir yang telah dibangunkan. Pembangunan aplikasi ini dibangunkan menggunakan ADDIE Model. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan min yang terkumpul bagi responden kajian ialah 3.50 bagi persepsi kebolehgunaan, 3.33 bagi min persepsi keberkesanan dan 3.57 bagi persepsi reka bentuk aplikasi. Secara keseluruhannya, hasil kajian yang diperolehi oleh responden kajian menunjukkan skor min yang tinggi. Introducing Adobe Photoshop Software Tools among Secondary School Multimedia Students by Using Augmented Reality Abstract: This application is introducing Adobe Photoshop software tools among multimedia students; it was developed to help multimedia students to recognize Adobe Photoshop software tools in a more modern way that is using AR. The design of this application is developed using multimedia elements such as audio, video, graphics, animation, and text. This study was conducted to find out consumer perceptions which include the usability, effectiveness, and design of respondents to the final product that has been developed. The development of this application was developed using the ADDIE Model. The findings of the study showed that the cumulative mean for the study respondents was 3.50 for the perception of usability, 3.33 for the mean of the perception of effectiveness, and 3.57 for the perception of application design. Overall, the results obtained by the study respondents showed a high mean score. Keywords: ADDIE, Adobe Photoshop, Augmented Reality, Teaching and Learning Aids.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to uncover the management model and organizational culture of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Java. The study is based on ethnographic categories, namely urban and rural Islamic boarding schools, institutional system image categories, namely modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools. The research methodology involves library research for data sources and collection, and qualitative research for data analysis. The aim of using Lucia Mudiningtias' (2022) Islamic Boarding School Integration Management theory is to analyse internal capability indicators, such as finance, human resources, and organisational professionalism. Additionally, Muhammad Thoyib's (2018) theory of Contemporary Multicultural Islamic Education is used to analyse external capabilities, including community relations and the degree of nationalism. This research draws two conclusions, including: 1) Urban, rural, modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools in Java have the potential to improve and develop finances, risk management, cooperatives, work ethic, and increase the competence of educational staff; and 2) The text discusses urban, rural, modern, and traditional Islamic boarding schools in Java, focusing on their interaction with local communities, decision-making inefficiencies, cases of istiqāmah-qanā'ah in work, and the lack of career paths for teaching staff. Additionally, external elements such as the community can be involved, and teaching staff can be delegated to various educational and social services in the surrounding community. Annual periodic training, managerial counseling, and human resource empowerment for ustadz and ustadzah can also be implemented.

Abstract

Silence behaviour is a phenomenon that occurs in an organisation that is influenced by various factors. The behaviour of employees who fail to provide important information to the immediate superior is influenced by related factors such as communication climate, appearance attraction and personality type (extrovert-introvert). This study examined the influence of the communication climate, appearance attraction and personality type (introverted extroverts) on silence behaviour. PLS-SEM is used to test the hypothesis based on data from 360 Malay workers in four key sectors: industry, services, banking, and education, especially in the Klang Valley. The findings showed a significant positive direct relationship between communication climate, appearance attraction, personality type (extrovert-introverted), and silence behaviour. Theoretically, this study contributes to the knowledge management literature by studying the communication climate, appearance attraction and personality of introverted extroverts, which has proven that predictors of silence behaviour directly. Meanwhile, the application practically helps the management to identify the behaviour of Malay employees by promoting holistic dissemination of information within the organisation.

Abstract

Indomaret is a minimarket network that provides basic needs and daily needs. In 1997 the company developed the first franchised outlet business in Indonesia, after having more than 230 stores. In 2015 there were 11,400 stores, 60% of which were self-owned and the rest were public property. Indomaret is spread evenly from Sumatra, Java, Madura, Bali, Lombok, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. The company motto is "Easy and Economical". Employee Performance As one of the results of work in terms of quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties. If the performance is below expectations, the customer will be disappointed or dissatisfied. Performance in line with expectations can make customers satisfied. In addition, performance that exceeds expectations can make customers very satisfied. The results prove that increasing employee engagement, job satisfaction, reducing work stress is expected to increase employee performance.

Abstract

This community service for the Application of Appropriate Technology aims to solve one of the problems faced by tour guides who are members of service partners, namely the DPC Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI), Bukit Lawang Secretariat. The problem faced by the Bukit Lawang HPI Secretariat DPC is that it does not yet have a website with English content, so it has not been able to provide solutions to improve the economy of its members. Another problem is that the guides who are members of the Bukit Lawang HPI Secretariat have never received training in using the Web. With the development of a Web-based information system, it is expected that tour guides will find it easier to market tourism services in their area. The method used is to provide training on the use of Web-based information systems with content in English. This training provides guide skills in managing the website easily and updating content dynamically at any time. As a result of this dedication, tour guides have been able to use the Web to fill in content according to the desired information so that tour guides can improve their economy.

Abstract

The "Tekwe" method is a unique method of learning Arabic that is applied in Kampung Arab. This study aims to reveal and explain the "Tekwe" method in learning Arabic in the Arabic language course community. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using qualitative analysis. Interviews were conducted with the head of the Al-Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School, several teachers, students, and the community. The subjects in the study were the Head of the Islamic Boarding School, teachers, and students. The results of this study are that the Arab Village of Kebumen (KAK) is implemented by students who study in the Arab Village of Kebumen (KAK) and must live in a "mask or homestay" for 14 days following learning activities. The curriculum is designed to use the "Tekwe" Method; creativity in Arabic language learning focuses on communication; teachers are creative in choosing materials and strategies and using media. The head of the Islamic boarding school involves the local community in learning Arabic, carrying out social activities with the community in Arabic, and encouraging the community to speak Arabic with students and teachers.

Abstract

This research examines the possibilities and limitations of using ChatGPT in learning Arabic as a foreign language. Using a descriptive method, this study presents theories regarding using ChatGPT in language learning and how it is practically applied in learning Arabic as a foreign language. It also highlights the limitations learners should consider when using this application correctly and effectively. This research indicates that ChatGPT can assist Arabic language learners as "smart students" and "smart learning partner." With this role, ChatGPT can help them complete tasks and assignments, create a flexible and personalized learning environment, and improve their language skills. However, learners should also be mindful of the limitations of using ChatGPT, especially regarding ethical aspects and the limitations of the technology itself. They should maintain academic ethics and avoid excessive dependence on ChatGPT, which could negatively impact their critical thinking abilities, engagement spirit, and learning motivation.
