Abstract

This study evaluated the effectiveness of K-files contaminated with Staphylococcus aureus and immersion in alcohol, chlorhexi-dine, and sodium hypochlorite through CFU counting. Bacteria were identified through Gram staining and dilution to obtain an ini-tial 300 CFU, then the K-files were contaminated with bacteria. The samples were divided into three groups and repeated several times in a time series. For alcohol, the groups were divided into 70% and 96% concentrations. For chlorhexidine and sodium hy-pochlorite, each concentration was divided into three groups, and CFU counting was performed manually. The CFU results after immersion in 70% alcohol for 5, 10, and 15 minutes were 28 CFU, 5 CFU, and 0 CFU; 96% alcohol was 5 CFU, 1 CFU, and 0 CFU; 0.5%, 1%, and 2% chlorhexidine for 5 minutes and 10 minutes were 0 CFU; 0.25% sodium hypochlorite was 3 CFU, and for 10 minutes was 1 CFU; 0.5% and 1% sodium hypochlorite for 5 minutes and 10 minutes were 0 CFU. It was concluded that the antibacterial effectiveness of alcohol and sodium hypochlorite against S.aureus increased with increasing disinfectant concen-tration and K-file immersion time, while chlorhexidine was effective in killing S.aureus at a concentration of 0.5%. All disinfectants were effective for K-file disinfection.

Abstract

History learning in elementary school often faces obstacles because history material tends to be abstract, making it difficult for students to understand key figures and important events. This condition was evident among sixth-grade students who showed low comprehension due to learning activities that were still dominated by lectures and simple media. This study aims to improve students’ understanding and engagement in the topic of Proclamation Figures through the use of Pop-Up Books and web-based interactive games. The method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations of student activity, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II, where learning mastery increased from 62.5% to 93.75%, and the class average score rose from the “fair” to “excellent” category. In addition, students' engagement and motivation also improved through visual, kinesthetic, and interactive learning activities. Thus, the use of Pop-Up Books and interactive games is proven to be effective in creating more engaging and meaningful Social Studies learning and can serve as an alternative instructional media to enhance the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Marketing and Brand Image on School Selection Decisions among students of SMK Swasta Budi Agung Medan. The research employed a quantitative approach using an associative research method. The population and sample consisted of 63 students selected through the total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26.

Abstract

The Case Detection Rate is a key indicator of the success of tuberculosis control programs. Although national policies have been established, CDR achievements at the community health center level are still not optimal. This study aims to analyze TB case detection program management using the Context Input Process and Output (CIPO) approach to identify factors determining CDR achievements and priorities for improvement. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted in 13 Puskesmas in Bantaeng District from May to July 2025. The sample used total sampling of 78 TB program management teams. Data were collected through questionnaires and document review, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using PLS-SEM and IPMA. The analysis results show that input has a significant effect on process (β = 0.123; p < 0.001) and output (β = 0.007; p = 0.006), while process has a significant effect on output (β = 0.027; p = 0.016). Context does not have a direct effect on output (p > 0.05), but has an indirect effect through input and process (β = 6.943; p = 0.020). The average CDR achievement for 2023–2024 is 73.5%, which is still below the national target
