Abstract

AbstractThe Supernova serial novel is a phenomenal novel by Dewi Lestari which began publishing for its first title in 2001. The first novel is called Ksatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh. This novel has also been successfully filmed on the big screen of this country. After that, Dewi Lestari continued the series from this Supernova until the sixth title. The titles of the novel Akar (2002), Petir (2004), Partikel (2012), Gelombang (2014), dan yang terakhir Intelegensi Embun Pagi (2016). Researchers on this occasion examined the entire title of the novel Supernova. The analysis will be done, namely by looking at the use of technical terms in the novel. The details of this research problem, namely to analyze the meaning of lexical, grammatical meanings, and contextual meaning of the technical terms that exist in the novel Supernova. Researcher use descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The data and data sources from this research is a technical term that exists in the six novels Supernova. This research is related to learning material in high school class X in the material of learning novel of Curriculum 2013. This research yields several conclusions, namely 1) technical terms inventoried and analyzed can be classified into many fields of science and study groups, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Sociology, Anthropology, Greek Mythology, Theology, Computers and Internet, Astronomy, Space, and Psychology. 2) The process of analyzing the lexical meaning of technical terms in the six novels Supernova done by looking at the meaning of KBBI, Dictionary of Terms, Encyclopedia of Science, Journal of Science, and Book of Religious. 3) The process of analysis of the grammatical meaning of technical terms in the six novels Supernova done by looking at the composition of the sentence and the author's intention in conveying the message of the story. 4) The process of analyzing the contextual meaning of technical terms in the six novels Supernova done by looking at the background of the author, background story, and sociological and psychological conditions of society when the novel was written. 5) A total of 266 technical terms are analyzed based on lexical meanings, grammatical meanings, and contextual meanings in all six Supernova novels that can be used as documents to make it easier to understand the novel story of Supernova. Keyword: Supernova, technical terms, lexical, grammatical, contextual

Abstract

 AbstractSpeech acts are a part that can not be separated from a story. Speech can support a plot in a story. The plot used in the story can be found from the narrator's speech or speech used by the characters in the story. The issues discussed in the research are the types and context of the reciprocal and commercially directive acts in Mak Kelapon film. Methods in this study include data collection techniques and data analysis techniques. The form of research in this study is a form of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study, the method of referring to the technique of listening to spirited  data with documents. The results of the analysis of speech acts directive and commisive in Film Mak Kelapon Karya Adri Addayuni is divided into two speech acts. The first act of speech acknowledgment consists of 6 types include type 1 amounted to 20, type 2 amounted to 56, type 3 amounted to 10, type 4 amounted to 4, type 5 amounted to 3, type 6 amounted to 4. While commissive speech acts consist of 2 types including type 7 amounted to 13 and type 8 amounted to 7.Keywords: act directive and comic speech, film dialogue, Mak Kelapon Karya Adri Addayuni.

Abstract

AbstractIndonesian country has one language that become unifying nation language  that is Indonesian language, it is happen because Indonesia has various kind of language.This research is about local language. The method that use in this research is comparison method with qualitative as a form of the research. Technique of data collecting is induction techniques and skill method. Technique of data analysis is classification data, comparison, data analysis and conclusion of analysis result. Based on the result of analysis meaning relation in Malay Language Dialect of Melawi (BMDM )can be deducted that antonym BMDM by its nature is devided into four namely, absolute,  gradation, relation and hierarchy. There are 57 words in absolute antonym, there are 38 words in gradation, there are 38 words in relation and 7 words in heararchy. There ade 70 synonym in BMDM. There are 75 homonyms and 5 homographs in BMDM. There are 20 polysemics in BMDM. There is a lexical meaning in BMDM antonym meaning. The whole anonymous words contains a lexical meaning. There are cognitive meaning, connotative and emotive meaning in BMDM synonym meaning. There are referential and nonreferential meaning in BMDM homonym meaning. There are referential, nonreferential and idiomatic meaning ini BDMD polisemic meaning.Keyword: meaning of relation, dialect, Melawi.

Abstract

AbstractResearch on adat nubak is an effort to explore cultural treasures as preservation and inventory for the enrichment of regional languages and Indonesian. This study aims to find out how terminology in adat nubak (tradition of catching fish) Ketapang Malay community. This study uses the observation method, a form of qualitative research using an ethnolinguistic approach in the context of the use of language in an area that is related to the culture of society. The terminology contained in this research is in the form of tools, processes, time, actors, places, and spells. Analysis of terms, namely monomorfemis, polymorphemis, and phrases. In addition, this study also describes the meaning of terminology in the traditional nubak tradition based on lexical meaning and cultural meaning. Based on the research conducted, the researchers succeeded in gathering 54 terminologies in the traditional nubak of the ketapang Malay community consisting of 20 tool terms, 17 process terms, 2 time terms, 6 place terms, 3 terms of perpetrators, 6 terms of mantra. The term analysis of the form of monomorfemis 21, the term polymorphemis 21 and the phrase 12 lexical terms and meanings and cultural meanings contained therein.Keywords: Ethnolinguistics, Ketapang, Malay, Nubak Adat,  Terminology

Abstract

AbstractThis research is a study that focuses on discussion about reduplication in a collection of short stories Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah by Ahmad Tohari. The reuplication is a classified reduplication based on the form, meaning and semantic function which is in the use of language in a collection of short stories Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah by Ahmad Tohari. The type of form(59) reduplication, meaning and semantic function became the main discussion in this research, which classified based on formulation of existing problems. Based on the result of the study that has been conducted, found a kind of form, meaning, and semantic role in A Collection of Short Stories Tawa Gadis Padang Sampah by Ahmad Tohari. The form of reduplication in this research found four types of reduplication form amounting 139 from 179 data which has been collected. The meaning of reduplication in this research founds 8 types of meaning in 139 reduplication data. Semantic reduplication role in this research founds four types of function which could be analyzed based on the theory. The result of this research can be used in language text exposision structure leaning in the school.  Keywords: Reduplication. Short Stories

Abstract

AbstractThis research is titled The Connotative Meaning and Languange Style In The Song’s Lyrics Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata By Coffternoon. Generally this research aims to describe meaning based connotative taste value as well as usage variety of language styles contained in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon. Method used in this research is descriptive method according to the problem under study with qualitative research forms. The source of the data is 10 from 11 songs in the album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon, and the data is words and phrases in which there is connotative meanings and various styles of language. The main technique used in this research is a documentary study technique, transcription technique, and data analysis technique. Based on these conclusions, kind of connotative meaning the most widely used contained in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is a type good connotation meaning which amounts to 54, and the most dominant variety of language styles in album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata by Coffternoon is variety of comparative language styles which amounts to 80. Keywords: Album Tentang Yang Tak Dikata, Connotative Meaning, Languange Style

Abstract

AbstractCatching the seafood is the activity of fishermen to hunt for fish and other sea products. This research related to linguistic focus on the study of the meaning field of catching sea product in the Malay dialect of Pontianak on the Sungai Kakap. This research uses the descriptive method with qualitative research form. The instruments used are leksem, vocabularies of the tools, part of tools, techniques, and products obtained.  The researcher conducted the data analysis of the meaning component, the lexical meanings and the semantic function based on the classification of the tools, part of the tools, techniques, and the obtained seafood. From this research, it found leksem contained in catching of sea products in totals 98 leksem consisting of 5 leksem fishing gears, 16 catching phrases, 14 leksem part tools, 15 phrase tool parts, 14 technicals leksem, 4 leksem kinds of seafood, 30 phrase seafood . The data was obtained from the interview conducted by researcher during research in Kakap Village and Sungai Kupah Village, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency.Keywords: Catching seafood, Malay dialect of Pontianak, component of meaning,                meaning of lexical, semantic function

Abstract

Abstract The maxim of cooperation is a rule that must be fulfilled by participants so that the conversation goes well. But, not all conversations follow the maxim of cooperation. In addition, the speech participants must be able to understand the intent and meaning of speech uttered by the opponent's speech. The purpose of this research was to describe the form of violations of the maxim of cooperation, implicature and implementation of Indonesian language learning in speech of sitcoms ok-jek season 2 episode 498—500. The method used in this research is descriptive method and context analysis method. The technique of collecting data used is documentary techniques, and see techniques. The tools used to collect data are stationery, laptops and data cards. Data analysis techniques use pragmatic matching techniques and referential equivalents .The results of the study were violation of the maxim of cooperation is caused by the addition of excessive information, short speeches, situations, lies, distracting speech, and convoluted sentences. The implicature that exists in every episode of the ok-jek comedy soap opera is the implicature of affirming, informing, complaining, denying, asking, and joking. Ok-jek Sitcom can be used as a reference for learning to produce anecdotal texts. Keywords: violation of maxim, implicature, sitcoms, implementation

Abstract

AbstractThe researcher chooses assertive ilocutionary speech acts and directives as the focus of research because they are speeches that often occur in everyday life. Researchers are interested in choosing the Genduk novel by Sundari Mardjuki because the novel can be used as an example of real human life. Researchers and readers can also take lessons from read novels.The problem discussed in this study is how the context and function of assertive and direct illocutionary speech acts in the Genduk novel by Sundari Mardjuki. The aim of this research was to describe the context and function of assertive and direct illocutionary speech acts in the Genduk novel by Sundari Mardjuki. The benefits of this research are expected to be a means for readers to open their horizons in learning the right speech in their daily activities.The method used in this research was descriptive method. The form of this study used a qualitative form, this form displays the analysis of the data obtained. The data source in this study was Genduk's novel by Sundari Mardjuki. The data in this study were assertive and directive illocutionary speech acts. Data collection techniques with documentation techniques, reading techniques, and note taking techniques.The results of data analysis on all conversations between speakers and speech partners in Sundari Mardjuki's Genduk novel were obtained and summarized as follows. 1) Assertive ilocutionary speeches consist of 41 utterances consisting of utterances stating 7 utterances, telling 26 utterances, uttering 2 utterances, demanding and reporting 4 utterances. 2) The directive ilokusi speech acts consist of 32 utterances consisting of speech ordered 8 utterances, asking for 1 speech, asking for 10 utterances, suggesting 1 speech, advising 12 utterances. Keywords: form and purpose, ilocution, Novel Genduk

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the attentiveness of researchers to find out how the development of a child with autism develops before or after doing research. Researchers saw firsthand how the attitude of compliance with Wilson's autistic children in speaking skills, how to form eye contact with autistic children Wilson in speaking skills, and how to shape responses to commands and calls to people with autistic Wilson's speaking skills. The study directly observed ABK activities following therapy classes using the ABA method, as well as increasing the skills of autistic children.Based on data analysis in this study, it can be concluded: 1) The ability to read pictures of children with autism mental age of 6 years can be grouped into three, namely, the ability to read nouns, verbs and adjectives. 2) The ability of children to count for children with autism mental age of 6 years through pictorial card media can be grouped into three, namely, the ability to count, recognize numbers and sort numbers.. 3) Therapy for the ability to read pictures and children's abilities to count for children with autism, starting from preparation by preparing a room, preparing a number card, preparing an image card, ball and rooting and preparing the mental and psychological children to learn.
