Abstract

Rapid environmental degradation in urban areas has intensified the demand for educational strategies that can foster sustained ecological engagement among marginalized youth. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a hybrid intervention integrating a mobile learning application, JawaraEco, with eco-facilitator coaching in enhancing multidimensional ecological engagement. An experimental design was implemented, involving 232 urban youth from four densely populated subdistricts in Jakarta, randomly assigned to either an experimental group (receiving access to the app and coaching) or a control group (no intervention). Data were collected through in-app behavioral metrics and a validated ecological engagement scale, encompassing cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and continuity dimensions. Statistical analyses, including paired and independent samples t-tests as well as two-way ANOVA, revealed significantly greater gains across all dimensions in the experimental group. These findings demonstrate that combining mobile learning with structured human facilitation fosters more robust and sustained ecological behaviors. The study contributes practical insights for scalable implementation in schools, community programs, and local governance, while also offering theoretical support for technology-supported, socially embedded environmental learning ecosystems.

Abstract

This article comprehensively analyzes the relationship between sustainable marketing and corporate social responsibility (CSR) as pillars of modern business strategy. Amidst increasing consumer awareness and regulatory pressures, companies are required to integrate economic, environmental, and social aspects in their operations. Sustainable marketing focuses on the development and promotion of environmentally and socially friendly products/services throughout their life cycle, while CSR encompasses ethical and philanthropic initiatives that enhance a company's positive impact on society. This study adopts a systematic literature review method by analyzing secondary data from reputable scientific journals and sustainability reports. The results show that these two concepts are complementary: sustainable marketing is effective in communicating CSR values to stakeholders, while CSR provides an authentic foundation for sustainability claims. Identified benefits include enhanced brand reputation, consumer loyalty, competitive differentiation, and operational efficiency. Despite challenges such as initial costs and measurement complexity, strategic integration of the two is essential for creating shared value and achieving long-term competitive advantage. This article concludes that sustainable marketing and CSR are no longer optional, but rather strategic imperatives for future business success. This study analyzes 40 articles selected from an initial 150 articles through a systematic selection process.

Abstract

Strengthening Ibu Misnah's traditional snack business in Gerimax Indah Village, West Lombok Regency was the topic of a community service activity carried out by lecturers at STIE AMM Mataram. The community service partners were Ibu Misnah's MSMEs, who had been operating for years but lacked legal business registration. Therefore, they needed to understand formal legality as a first step towards the sustainability and success of their business in the future and to be able to compete with other business owners. This was achieved through discussions and mentoring. The results of the community service activity showed that the business owners fully understood the importance of having a Business Identification Number (NIB), a halal certificate, a well-designed label on product packaging, and preparing simple financial reports. They also emphasized the importance of having a precise and clear business location via Google Maps

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Batam City. MSME performance is a complex function of internal (endogenous) and external (exogenous) pressures, thus requiring a robust analytical framework to measure the relative weight and interaction of these factors. This study uses a survey method as the main approach and a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model using SmartPLS on 150 MSME actors in Batam City. The results of convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability tests show that all indicators are valid (Outer Loading > 0.7; AVE > 0.5) and reliable (Composite Reliability > 0.6; Cronbach's Alpha > 0.7). The main findings indicate that external factors have a positive and significant effect on internal factors (Path Coeff. 0.328;. P-value 0,000), external factors have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance (Path Coeff. 0.232; P-value 0.025), and internal factors have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance (Path Coeff. 0.253; P-value 0.042). The F-square value indicates that the contribution of these effects falls into the moderate to strong category. In general, all research hypotheses are accepted, confirming that both external and internal factors play an important role in improving the performance of MSMEs in Batam City.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the level of English proficiency and the factor hat influence of the tenth-grade students from SMK Pariwisata Aiq Bual, located in a rural area. The research used a qualitative approach with classroom observation, interviews, and English tests to collect data on students’ abilities in vocabulary, graThis study employed a qualitative case study approach to investigate the English proficiency profile of tenth-grade students at SMK Pariwisata Aiq Bual, a rural vocational school in Central Lombok. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and English proficiency tests to gain a holistic understanding of students’ abilities in vocabulary, grammar, reading, and speaking. The findings revealed that most students demonstrated average proficiency in vocabulary and grammar, good reading skills, and weaknesses in speaking performance due to limited exposure, low confidence, and minimal opportunities for real communication. The study identified several key factors influencing students’ English proficiency, including psychological aspects (motivation and anxiety), environmental limitations (lack of English exposure and learning resources), and instructional practices that remain grammar-focused rather than communicative. Despite these challenges, students showed high motivation and positive attitudes toward learning English, especially in relation to their future tourism careers. The study recommends implementing communicative and contextualized teaching approaches, increasing authentic language exposure, and enhancing teacher professional development to strengthen students’ overall English proficiency and confidence in using the language in real-life contexts.mmar, reading, and speaking. The results showed that most students fell into the Average category for vocabulary and grammar, while their reading skills were mostly Good. Speaking was the most challenging skill for some students, though their confidence and participation in class were generally high. Students tried to improve their English through practice in and outside the classroom, memorizing vocabulary, and interacting with tourists or native speakers. This study suggests that students are motivated and have a positive attitude toward learning English, but they need structured support to improve vocabulary, grammar, and speaking skills.

Abstract

Parental burnout is a chronic exhaustion resulting from stress parenting. Single mothers from rural low-income background, bearing dual roles and limited resources, are highly vulnerable to this condition with more complex manifestations. This study aims to explore in depth experiences, dynamic and impacts of parental burnout among single mothers working as laborer in KA Village. This qualitative study with phenomenological approach involved three single mother laborer participants selected via purposive sampling. Data were collected through in depth interviews and observation, the analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings revealed that all three participants experienced parental burnout, fulfilling all four dimensions: exhaustion (extreme fatigue with physical impact), emotional distancing (emotional detachment from children), ineffectiveness in the parental role (feeling of failure as a parent), and feelings of being fed up. The emerging impacts were more severe than the general portrayal of parental burnout, including tendencies toward neglect, verbal and physical violence against children, as well as suicidal ideation and the desire to escape. This study expands the understanding of parental burnout by demonstrating more severe manifestations and a higher degree of intensity among rural low-income single mothers with extremely limited personal and social resources. These findings indicate the urgency of contextual psychosocial interventions for this vulnerable group.
