Abstract

This research develops PjBL-STEM-based Animal & Plants Metamorphosis interactive multimedia products in IPAS subjects with the topic of the life cycle of living things. The purpose of the development is to help students learn independently anytime and anywhere without an internet connection, as well as to improve critical thinking skills. The research design uses the ADDIE model development for the research method using pretest-posttest analysis through a test instrument whose results are continued in a paired t-test to evaluate the improvement of learning outcomes. The product validation process was carried out by subject matter experts, media experts, and learning design experts, all of whom were categorised as very good. Testing showed that the app is relevant to the learning outcomes and supports student-centred active learning. This application proved effective in improving students' understanding and critical thinking skills. The attractive appearance and interactive animations on the multimedia contribute to motivating students to learn more effectively. Although this application only focuses on IPAS material for phase B, the results show that this product is feasible to use and has a positive impact on the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektifitas media pembelajaran berbasis Word Wall terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas IV SD dan sebagai variasi saran untuk media pembelajaran berbasis interaktif. Media Word Wall memiliki fitur-fitur yang bisa diakses secara gerartis dan bisa dimanfaatkan oleh guru untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Sebanyak 25 peserta didik dijadikan sebagai subjek dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Pemberian pretest kemudian perlakuan treatment selama tiga kali pertemuan dan dilanjut posttest digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa media Word Wall dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPAS. Terbukti dengan rata-rata nilai posttest yang diperoleh 75,00 lebih tinggi dari nilai awal pretest sebesar 47,40, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai sebesar 27,60. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan media Word Wall efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik mata pelajaran IPAS dikelas IV SDN 3 Bandengan Jepara.

Abstract

Pendidikan di tingkat sekolah dasar memiliki peran krusial dalam membangun pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan siswa tentang lingkungan, alam, serta hubungan sosial di sekitarnya. Namun, dalam praktiknya, hasil belajar IPAS di SDN Bapangan siswa belum mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar adalah kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini, fokus peneliti adalah pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek terhadap hasil belajar IPAS. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 21 siswa kelas IV SDN Bapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Tes dilakukan dua kali untuk mengukur peningkatan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rata-rata pretest sebesar 51,19 dan posttest sebesar 87,62, yang menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS pada materi wujud zat dan perubahannya di kelas IV SDN Bapangan.

Abstract

Plastic waste is the main problem of environmental pollution at SDN Gebang 1, an Adiwiyata school in Demak Regency. Piles of plastic waste need to be appropriately managed because they need to create a better impression of the vision and mission of the Adiwiyata School. Another problem was seen during the rainy season when plastic waste blocked the water flow. SDN Gebang 1 experienced flooding until the water entered the classrooms. One of the efforts made by the school is through collaboration with OISCA to make it a green school. However, schools still need help with waste handling in the school area. The program aims to utilize waste through Eco-Paving Blocks. The community service method includes five stages: socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring, and monitoring. The activities obtained results from using plastic waste in the elementary school environment, which was 100% because partners agreed that plastic waste must be managed well. Applying the TTG Eco-Paving Block tool is easy to use, with results of 85.25%. The successful implementation of the activity received a score of 90.50%. Partners can utilize 87.50% of plastic waste through the TTG Eco-Paving Block tool. The implementation of practical activities by teachers obtained results of 92.25%. Thus, teachers need assistance utilizing plastic waste through the TTG Eco-Paving Block tool, which helps reduce plastic waste at SDN Gebang 1.

Abstract

Plastic waste is a significant problem not solved by elementary schools in the Ahmad Yani Cluster, Bonang District, Demak Regency. The problem is caused by ignorance and the inability to manage and process waste due to the large amount of plastic waste clogging the river. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to empower teachers and students at Ahmad Yani Cluster Elementary Schools to utilize plastic waste by making eco-paving using the Rebricks-Paving Block Appropriate Technology (TTG) tool. The activities were carried out in several stages: socialization, training, technology application, assistance, and program evaluation. The activity results showed that this program positively impacted the partners, especially in increasing awareness and skills in plastic waste management. The program evaluation showed a high level of success, with 100% of respondents agreeing that plastic waste should be recycled and 90.50% rating the program as successful overall. In addition, 87.50% of partners felt helped in utilizing plastic waste with the TTG tool, and the implementation of the Rebricks-Paving Block TTG tool achieved excellent results with a score of 92.25%. The program successfully provides waste management solutions in the school environment. It can become a model for plastic waste management that can be widely applied.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk menilai apakah media quizizz paper mode efektif meningkatkant hasil belajar IPAS materi wujud zat serta perubahannya pada siswa kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis one group pre-test post-test. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SDN 1 Mindahandengan populasinya adalah semua siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah total 35 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari hasil pre test dan post test yang di analisi dengan bantuan aplikasi jamovi. Analisis data yang dipakai meliputi pengujian validitas serta reliabilitas instrumen, validasi prasyarat berupa uji normalitas dan homogenitas serta pengujian hipotesis berupa uji t. Data uji t memperlihatkan jika besaran nilai p adalah 0.001 < 0,05 maka dari itu, Ho tertolak sedangkan Ha terpakai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan jika adanya quizizz paper mode dalam pembelajaran efektif dalam peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS materi wujud zat dan perubahannya pada siswa kelas IV SD N 1 Mindahan.

Abstract

The limited interactive teaching materials that are in accordance with the characteristics of grade 3 elementary school students are often an obstacle in science learning, especially in the material of changes in the state of objects. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of interactive e-book-based teaching materials on the material for grade 3 students of SDN 1 Guyangan. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting the ADDIE model. The stages include analyzing the needs of students and teachers through interviews and questionnaires; designing e-books with attractive multimedia elements; developing products using appropriate software; limited implementation in the classroom to measure effectiveness, involvement, and ease of use through observation and questionnaires; and formative and summative evaluations based on expert validation results and user responses. The validation results show that the developed e-book is very feasible, with a score from material experts of 93.75% and from media experts of 95.3%. The responses of teachers and students during implementation also showed that this e-book is very practical, effective, and easy to use, thus increasing learning engagement. Thus, the interactive e-book developed is declared very feasible and practical to support and improve the quality of science learning on the material of changes in the state of objects in elementary schools. ABSTRAKKeterbatasan bahan ajar yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa kelas 3 SD seringkali menjadi kendala dalam pembelajaran IPA, khususnya pada materi perubahan wujud benda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis e-book interaktif pada materi tersebut untuk siswa kelas 3 SDN 1 Guyangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model ADDIE. Tahapannya meliputi analisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru melalui wawancara dan angket; perancangan e-book dengan elemen multimedia yang menarik; pengembangan produk menggunakan perangkat lunak yang sesuai; implementasi terbatas di kelas untuk mengukur efektivitas, keterlibatan, dan kemudahan penggunaan melalui observasi dan angket; serta evaluasi formatif dan sumatif berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan respon pengguna. Hasil validasi menunjukkan e-book yang dikembangkan sangat layak, dengan skor dari ahli materi sebesar 93,75% dan dari ahli media sebesar 95,3%. Respon guru dan siswa selama implementasi juga menunjukkan bahwa e-book ini sangat praktis, efektif, dan mudah digunakan sehingga meningkatkan keterlibatan belajar. Dengan demikian, e-book interaktif yang dikembangkan ini dinyatakan sangat layak dan praktis untuk mendukung serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA materi perubahan wujud benda di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Critical thinking abilities, particularly in Indonesia, remains a concern, as international assessments like PISA reveal students' limited capacity to resolve intricate and unconventional problems. This deficiency poses a significant challenge for educators, urging them to devise instructional strategies that can elevate students' critical reasoning. One effective approach involves the integration of an Augmented Reality (AR)-enhanced discovery learning model. Discovery learning provides a robust pedagogical framework for fostering critical thinking, while AR technology serves as a potent instrument for facilitating the exploration of abstract concepts. This investigation sought to ascertain the impact of employing the discovery learning-based AR media in solar system education on learners' critical thinking skills by analyzing the mean difference between pretest and posttest scores. A quantitative research methodology was employed. The study's participants were sixth-grade students from SD N 2 Guyangan. Pretest results indicated an average score of 44, which subsequently climbed to an average of 77 in the posttest. This research successfully substantiated the efficacy of discovery learning-based AR media in bolstering learners' critical thinking capabilities, as evidenced by the marked improvement in posttest scores compared to pretest scores. ABSTRAKKeterampilan berpikir kritis khususnya di Indonesia menurut hasil asesmen internasional PISA menunjukan bahwa kemampuan peserta didik dalam merampungkan masalah dengan tipe kompleks dan non-rutin verada di level rendah. Masalah tersebut menjadi tanggungjawab seorang pendidik untuk dapat mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didiknya. Strategi yang bisa diterapkan adalah dengan penerapan model discovery learning berbasis Augmented Reality (AR). Discovery learning memberikan kerangka pedagogis yang kuat untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, sementara media AR menjadi alat yang ampuh untuk memfasilitasi dan mengeksplorasi materi yang abstrak. Dilakukannya penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model discovery learning berbasis media Augmented Reality (AR) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis pada materi tata surya dengan menghitung perbedaan rata-rata antara nilai sebelum dilakukannya perlakuan dan nilai setelahnya. Kuantitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan. Peserta didik kelas 6 SD N 2 Guyangan menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Hasil nilai pretest menunjukan besaran nilai rata-rata 44, sedangkan hasil nilai posttest mengalami kenaikan rata-rata menjadi 77. Penelitian ini berhasil membuktikan pengaruh discovery learning berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diketahui dari perbedaan rata-rata nilai pretest posttest.

Abstract

Reading is a fundamental skill, reading does not just interpret words but involves all aspects of understanding, analyzing and all the information presented in the text. This study aims to investigate the application of word puzzle media in the independent curriculum as a solution to overcome the problem of reading difficulties. The Independent Curriculum is an innovative approach that integrates media and technology into learning, while Word Puzzle Media is a learning method that combines aspects of play with learning to read. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through the process of observation, interviews and documentation. The sample of this research consists of first year students of SDN 5 Sekuro. The results showed that reading skills improved significantly, besides the fact that the use of this word puzzle media could increase students' interest and motivation for learning, as this media combined elements of games with reading activities, making the learning process more fun and challenging.

Bullying is a criminal act that can occur in the world of education. This event sparked the interest of researchers to conduct research. The purpose of this research is none other than to shed light on teacher’s strategies to anticipate and reduce the level of bullying in schools. This research used a qualitative descriptive research appoarch with a case study type. The data collection techniques in this study used observational techniques, interviews with class VI teachers, class VI student, and school principals, and documentation as data collection materials obtained. The test validity pf data using the triangulation technique and source triangulation. This research was conducted at SD Al-Islam Pengkol Jepara from August 4 2023 to August 7 2023. The research findings show that teachers have several strategies to overcome acts of bullying toward student. Namely giving advice, counseling, mental reinforcement to the victims, providing sanctions or punishments, socialization takes place.
