Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of three textile companies, namely PT. Asia Pacific Investama (MYTX), PT. Asia Pacific Fibers (POLY), and PT. Sri Rejeki Isman (SRIL) in the last ten years, 2012-2021. This study uses a quantitative-descriptive method with the type of data used is secondary data, obtained from the annual financial statements of each company at IDN Financial with the analysis using liquidity ratios including current ratio and quick ratio, solvency ratio including debt to assets ratio (DAR) and debt to equity ratio (DER), and profitability ratios include net profit margin (NPM) and return on assets (ROA) methods. The results based on the calculation of the liquidity ratio found that the performance of MYTX is not good, POLY is not good, and SRIL is quite good in the Current Ratio and Quick Ratio. In the solvency ratio, it was found that the performance of MYTX was quite good, POLY was not good, and SRIL was quite good in DAR. In contrast, the performance of the three companies is quite good in DER. And on the profitability ratios, it was found that the performance of the three companies is quite good in ROA or NPM.

Abstract

Di Kabupaten Aceh Barat, dimana Puskesmas Meureubo berada, kejadian ISPA secara konsisten tinggi dan terus meningkat. Pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain cross-sectional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Seluruh 3.029 ibu yang anaknya berusia di bawah dua tahun yang tinggal di sekitar Puskesmas Meureubo Kabupaten Aceh Barat dilibatkan dalam penelitian tersebut. dengan total delapan puluh empat sampel, metode pengambilan sampelnya adalah Simple Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan survei dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square, memastikan tingkat signifikan p<0,05. Analisis univariat digunakan dalam analisis data untuk mendapatkan data distribusi frekuensi untuk setiap variabel. Data kemudian ditampilkan dalam tabel frekuensi. Analisis bivariat, yang menggunakan uji chi-square SPSS versi 22, digunakan untuk mengamati hubungan antar variabel. Studi ini menemukan bahwa kejadian ISPA pada balita berkorelasi dengan pengetahuan (Nilai-P 0,000), sikap (Nilai-P 0,000), tindakan (Nilai-P 0,001), dan pendapatan (Nilai-P 0,004). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, tindakan, dan pendapatan semuanya berperan dalam prevalensi ISPA pada balita. Informasi lebih lanjut harus tersedia bagi orang tua untuk menurunkan risiko ISPA pada balita, mendorong tidak merokok dirumah, menjaga kebersihan, dan juga meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga melalui berbagai upaya pemberdayaan ekonomi dan pendampingan gizi.

Abstract

Sumurgede Village, despite being categorized as a developing village, still faces significant challenges related to poverty. The majority of its residents rely on an under- optimized agricultural sector. Underdeveloped infrastructure and limited market access also hinder economic development. In this context, Baitul Maal and BMT play strategic roles. BMT provides Sharia-based financing for MSMEs, while Baitul Maal distributes zakat funds for business capital. These institutions not only provide access to capital but also business mentoring, which is crucial in reducing poverty and improving community welfare. The synergy between Baitul Maal and BMT has proven effective in supporting local economic development through a sustainable approach in accordance with Sharia principles.

Abstract

Agricultural soils that are close to industrial areas are prone to be polluted by lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) caused by industrial waste. Soil remediation is a method to clean the soil from pollutant materials. Utilizing fly ash and organic matter is a way to reduce levels of Pb and Cd pollution in the soil. This research was conducted to study the effect of ameliorants on reducing the availability of Pb and Cd in soil. The greenhouse experiment was carried out using a randomized block design with the application of 3 types of ameliorants, namely fly ash, chicken manure, and cow manure. The experimental design was prepared with 2 dose levels, namely C: control; F1: 450g; F2: 600g; A1: 75g; A2: 105g; S1: 105g; S2: 135g; FAS1: 450 g+75 g+105 g; FAS2: 600g+105g+135g. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 27 experimental units. The experimental results showed that the effect of the treatment of fly ash, chicken manure, and cow manure significantly increased soil pH, KB, C-organic, and exchangeable bases as well as reduced levels of availability of Pb and Cd compared to controls. The use of single fly ash (F1 and F2) reduces the availability of Pb in the soil, while the available Cd decreased in the application of a combination of fly ash with chicken and cow manure (FAS1 and FAS2). The application of fly ash alone was able to reduce the availability of Pb and Cd which was higher than of chicken manure and cow manure alone. However, the provision of fly ash has not been able to increase the growth of kale plants. Keywords: Cd, fly ash, chicken manure, cow manure, Pb, remediation

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which usually lives in humid places. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of environmental sanitation on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in the Pisangan Timur Village. This research is an analytical observational study using a case control study design, namely to determine the relationship between the physical environment of the house and the incidence of pulmonary TB. From the results of research on 55 respondents in the area of RW 015, Pisangan Timur Village, it shows that the results of statistical tests obtained a P value of 0.3 meaning P value > 0.5. So it can be concluded that there is no relationship between environmental sanitation and the incidence of TB in RW 015, Pisangan Timur Village.

Abstract

This research investigates the dominant noun phrase patterns used by EFL students and identifies the challenges they face in constructing complex noun phrases. A descriptive quantitative design was applied, involving third-semester EFL students majoring in English Education at Tadulako University. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, validated using the SPSS program to ensure reliability. Results reveal that the most frequently used noun phrase pattern is determiner + noun, accounting for 35% of the total noun phrases produced by students. In contrast, the least utilized pattern is premodifier + noun + postmodifier, representing only 1%. The analysis indicates that sociocultural factors, particularly students' linguistic environments, significantly influence their ability to construct complex noun phrases. Addressing these challenges may involve implementing inclusive curricula and culturally responsive teaching strategies. The findings have implications for curriculum design, emphasizing the need to enhance instructional materials and provide targeted practice to improve students' mastery of complex noun phrase structures.AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji pola frasa nomina yang dominan digunakan oleh mahasiswa EFL dan mengidentifikasi tantangan yang mereka hadapi dalam membentuk frasa nomina kompleks. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan melibatkan mahasiswa EFL semester tiga yang mengambil jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris di Universitas Tadulako. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan kuesioner yang divalidasi menggunakan program SPSS untuk memastikan keandalannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola frasa nomina yang paling sering digunakan adalah determiner + noun, yang mencakup 35% dari total frasa nomina yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa. Sebaliknya, pola yang paling jarang digunakan adalah premodifier + noun + postmodifier, dengan hanya 1%. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor sosiokultural, terutama lingkungan bahasa mahasiswa, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan mereka dalam membentuk frasa nomina kompleks. Mengatasi tantangan ini dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan kurikulum yang inklusif dan strategi pengajaran yang responsif secara budaya. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi terhadap desain kurikulum, dengan menekankan perlunya peningkatan materi pembelajaran dan pemberian latihan yang terarah untuk meningkatkan penguasaan mahasiswa terhadap struktur frasa nomina kompleks.Kata Kunci: frasa kata benda, kompleks, pola, faktor kesulitan.

Abstract

Assessment of financial ratios and the relationship between one item and another in the financial statements can provide an overview of the performance and level of financial soundness of a company. This article aims to assess the financial performance of PT. Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk. in 2019-2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analysis was carried out using various financial ratios, namely profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, solvency ratios and activity ratios to see the company's performance from 2019 to 2021. The results showed the rate of return on net sales, return on equity, financial performance of PT. Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk is not good enough. Return on assets value current ratio in 3 consecutive years is 2 times, which means the company's profitability is good. In 2020 2 times, and PT. Surya Toto Total debt to total assets, interest coverage ratio, accounts receivable turnover ratio, inventory turnover ratio, Debt turnover where the financial performance is good.

Abstract

This change action plan is an effort to increase the percentage of the Naira community receiving weather information provided by the station. receiving weather information provided by Class III Bandaneira Meteorological Station - Central Maluku. The purpose of this change action plan is to improve the dissemination of weather information services at Bandaneira Meteorological Station through the Cable TV network, and followed by socialisation to the community to facilitate the community in accessing weather information. The change action "Improving the Dissemination of Weather Information Services through the Local Cable TV Network" has helped Bandaneira Meteorological Station in improving performance in terms of public services to the community. Through socialisation conducted by an effective team in introducing Cable TV media as an alternative means of dissemination in addition to the social media already owned by Bandaneira Meteorological Station, it has made it easier for people who have limited internet access to access or obtain weather information services so that they can help in supporting their daily activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by the e-commerce industry in the banking sector in Parepare City to increase competitive advantage. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand in depth the marketing strategies implemented by the banking sector in the e-commerce industry in Parepare City. This approach was chosen because it allows an in-depth exploration of industry players' experiences, views, and policies. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed thematically to identify patterns, strategies, and critical success factors in creating competitive advantage. This approach is expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the phenomenon under study. The sample in this research consisted of 3 (three) sources who were involved in banking. The results of this research indicate that the marketing strategy implemented by the banking sector in the e-commerce industry in Parepare City plays a significant role in creating a competitive advantage. Implementing digital strategies through mobile banking applications has effectively increased accessibility and interaction with customers.

Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) program is to provide knowledge, insight and skills regarding accounting practices and financial management to MSME actors in Beringharjo Market who are also partners of BMT Beringharjo Yogyakarta. The activities of this PkM program are by conducting literacy and socialization to MSME actors, conducting training and guidance in preparing financial reports, financial performance analysis, financial planning, management and control. The training method used is by conducting discussions, questions and answers and case analysis. The output of this PkM activity is increasing literacy and application of basic accounting knowledge for MSMEs, increasing understanding, knowledge and application of basic financial management concepts, increasing the competence of small entrepreneurs in preparing financial reports and conducting financial performance analysis.
