Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan: pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif, pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional, dan pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen dengan design one group pretest dan posttest dengan instrumen pedoman observasi teknik checklist terhadap 23 orang anak kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Putra 1 Mataram Tahun 2024. Hasil korelasi antara perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan sosial emosional adalah signifikan dan uji prasyarat ditemukan memenuhi syarat analisis dengan teknik statistik t-test taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan: 1) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif., 2) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional., 3) ada pengaruh pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan sosial emosional. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan dalam penelitian dapat direkomendasikan: masalahmasalah yang terjadi pada perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan sosial emosional dapat ditangani dengan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran bermain peran kerajaan hutan pada tema binatang sebagai metode pembelajaran terhadap anak usia dini kelompok B.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning yang tepat untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Subulussalam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model penelitian Kemmis dan MC taggart. Subjek pada penelitian adalah kelompok B yang berjumlah 14 orang anak dengan jumlah 5 perempuan dan 9 laki-laki. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada siklus I mendapatkan persentase 54,5% dan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning mencapai 43% dengan kategori Mulai Berkembang (MB) sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning mendapatkan persentase 82% dan perkembangan kognitif anak setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning mencapai 85,7% dengan kategori berkembang sangat baik (BSB) dan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan sehingga pelaksanaan penelitian ini dihentikan. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak kelompok B di TK Subulussalam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, keefektifan pada media yang dikembangkan yakni media Buku Aktivitasku untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak pada kelompok B TKN Pembina Dewi Kayangan. Kebaharuan penelitian ini yakni lebih pesifik mengangkat konsep sehari- hari anak serta material media yang digunakan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yaitu analisis (analysis), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), evaluasi (evaluation). Dengan Teknik analisis data yakni menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menguji kevalidan dari media dan menggunakan rumus persentse kevalidan. Hasil penelitian yaitu validator media mendapatkan skor 100%, validator materi mendapatkan skor 95,5%, validator respons peserta didik pada tahap I memperoleh rata- rata 58,7%, validator respons siswa pada tahap II memperoleh rata- rata 74,03%. Kriteria penilaian media yang digunakan termasuk kategori sangat layak terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Media Buku Aktivitasku termasuk sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Buku Aktivitasku yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak, praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Wayang is a cultural heritage of the ancestors of the Indonesian people which is estimated to have existed since ±1500 years BC. In Java, shadow puppets are used and utilized to spread the preaching of Islamic teachings. The spread of Islam in Java is inseparable from the role of the Wali Sango in spreading Islamic teachings. Thanks to the saints Islam was able to flourish in the life of society. This study aims to, (1) know the history of shadow puppets, (2) explain the role of wayang kuit as a medium for spreading Islam in Java, (3) explain the spread of Islam in Java, (4), know the role of walisanga in spreading Islam in Java. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The conclusion that can be drawn is that wayang has been around since before the existence of Hindhu Buddhism, in its development shadow puppets were used for the spread of Islam, especially on the island of Java. In its dissemination, there is a role of walisangas, one of which is Sunan Kalijaga who spread Islamic teachings with the media of Wayang Kulit.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) are a form of student activity that involves going directly into the community to apply the knowledge gained in college to help solve problems and empower local communities. The KKN activities carried out in Janapria Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency, by Mataram University students certainly consist of various activities with the main target being the utilization and development of village potential. The aim of implementing this KKN activity is to help the community develop the potential of underdeveloped villages, one of which is the use of cow dung waste into organic fertilizer and decomposer. There are 5 methods used in this activity, namely: (1) Survey and mapping method (2) Social approach method, (3) Participatory method, (4) Mentoring method, and (6) Evaluation method. The output of this activity is a product in the form of organic fertilizer and decomposer. The people of Janapria Village, especially farmers and livestock breeders, have the awareness to utilize the local potential of the village, namely livestock manure into something of economic value. Thus, this activity was generally successful in increasing the understanding and participation of the Janapria Village community in using livestock waste wisely for the sake of agricultural sustainability and a sense of caring for the environment.

Abstract

Mendeley is a useful application that attempts to integrate a "citation & reference manager" into a social network. Mendeley reference management makes it easier for users to compile bibliography lists for writing scientific papers and Mendeley makes it easier for researchers to find fellow researchers through a network in the Mendeley menu. The objectives of this research are (1) To improve participants' abilities in compiling and searching bibliography using reference management using Mendeley (2) To improve participants' abilities in compiling and searching tables of contents using Mendeley (3) To find out participants' responses to training activities. Methods in service (1) Observation method, (2) Lecture method, (3) Training method. The results of the Mendeley-based reference management training were very effective in providing knowledge value, especially to students when they wanted to write journals/proposals and theses. Judging from the results of the training after being given the material, practice and assistance, it was stated that 85% of the students were very easy to implement the material that had been obtained by operating the Mendeley application directly, both based on Mendeley Web and Mendeley Desktop. Search and enter references easily, create citations both manually and automatically.

Abstract

This Community Service Program is entitled "Training on the Use of Mendeley for Students Class of 2021 and 2022, Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, FKIP, UHO". In general, the aim of this service activity is through training activities Students can easily use the Mendeley application to prepare their final assignments, especially how to quote expert opinions and write references automatically through the Mendeley application. Implementation of service is carried out in three stages, where the first stage is the preparation stage. In the preparation stage, the service group conducted a preliminary survey to see field conditions regarding the knowledge of PBSI students class of 2021 and 2022 regarding the Mendeley application. The next stage of activity is training related to the use of the Mendeley application. The final stage is the evaluation stage, at this stage an evaluation of the results achieved by the training participants is carried out. Further input and improvements can be made at this stage. Evaluation is provided by collecting data obtained from training activities. Data was taken by summarizing students' understanding regarding the use of the Mendeley application. The implementation of community service activities is packaged using a training approach. Activities are carried out using lecture, discussion and practice methods.

Abstract

When students attempt to convert their thesis into a scientific article, they often face several challenges that require special attention. One of the main obstacles is the difference in writing style. A thesis generally employs a more informal and detailed writing style, while scientific articles demand a more formal and concise approach. Therefore, students need to make substantial revisions to their writing style to meet the standards of scientific publication. Additionally, structure also poses a challenge. Theses tend to have lengthy and sometimes overly detailed structures, whereas scientific articles typically follow a more streamlined and concise format. Students must reorganize their material to align with a structure commonly consisting of an introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusion.

Abstract

Students often face various challenges when trying to create or register an account on the Open Journal System (OJS), a platform used for managing scientific journals. One common issue is limited access, as some institutions don’t provide full access or clear guidance on how to use the platform. The registration process can also feel complicated, especially for first-timers, since the steps aren’t always straightforward. On top of that, technical issues like device compatibility or browser settings can make things even more frustrating. Institutional policies sometimes add another layer of difficulty, requiring students to meet extra conditions to sign up. The instructions provided on OJS are often incomplete or confusing, which doesn’t help either. Language barriers can be another obstacle, particularly for students who aren’t comfortable with the available languages on the platform. Lastly, slow or unstable internet connections can drag out the registration process, making it even harder to get started.

Abstract

A good understanding of the material and clear writing are important for success in academic and professional careers. However, not all students are equally skilled at writing scientific articles. This research aims to classify the levels of student understanding in writing scientific articles. This study classifies college students' understanding of scientific writing across four universities in Palembang with a sample of 108 students selected through random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires, and the quantitative method used data mining with the C4.5 algorithm. Testing with RapidMiner software yielded a model accuracy of 74.58%. The study found that the C4.5 algorithm's accuracy in classifying students’ understanding of scientific writing falls into the Fair category, meaning the model treats all individuals or groups equally. The findings of this research should be a particular concern for higher education institutions to support and assist students in better understanding how to write scientific articles.
