Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the Islamic education based on Pegon Arabic letters in Madrasah Diniyah Al-Barokah Watuagung. This research was qualitative research. Observation, interview and documentation were collecting data of research. The participants consist of 30 students and 5 teachers as research sample. The results showed that Madrasah Diniyah Al-Barokah used the Arabic letters Pegon in learning. This Madrasah still exists amid the vortex of globalization to preserve the legacy of civilization for superior Islamic education. The curriculum was taught in the form of Fikih, Morals, Aqidah, Tajwed, Al-Quran, Nahwu and Sharaf. Islamic education was taught by teachers who are graduates of various Pesantren at Java, hence they were scientifically and experienced. Keywords: Islamic Education, Arabic Pegon, Pegon Letter

Abstract

Education is a process of coaching and developing human potential optimally that reaches whole aspect of life dimension, including soul, intelligence, and heart that construct human personality. But, the reality, education nowadays is still focusing on vocational aspect, while their personality is still neglected. Thus, the targeted purpose was only partial not thoroughly. This condition was not aligned with the purpose of education that should be normative and integrative so that the direction aimed was in accordance with the idea of expected ideal human qualification based on Koran soul in the entire life aspect stated by some educational practitioners. Therefore, this research was aimed at describing the involvement of whole life aspect in shaping a whole human being which was built from Ūlul Ilmi, Ūlūl Albāb and Ūli an-Nuha terms to formulate the purpose of Islamic education. This reasearch applied qualitative approach along with tahlīlī and muqāran as the procedural methods regarding to the ten Mu’tabaroħ tafsirs; they were Al-Miṣbāḥ Tafsir, Fi Ẓilalil Qur`ān Tafsir, Ibn Kaṡīr Tafsir, Aṭ-Ṭabari Tafsir, Al-Qurṭubi Tafsir, Al-Maraghi Tafsir, Al-Mizan Tafsir, Al-Azhar Tafsir, At-Taḥrir Wa Tanwir Tafsir and Fakr Ar-Razi Tafsir. Also, literature study was applied to collect the data. The data analysis technique used in this study was text analysis which employed dilālaħ and munāsabaḥ. According to the findings and analysis in this study, it was stated that the purpose of whole human being an intelectual thinker who is pious and brilliant, knowledgeable, sharp minded, pure heart, pertinacious beliefs, strong istinbath, noble soul, great moral character, and has an absolute spiritual experience. The central implication from the whole human being concept lied on the purpose of Islamic education with Ilāhiyyah nuance, divine and spiritual. Other educative implications are role, function, principle, educator, student, method, material, and teaching media. All those educational components were directed to strengthen beliefs, straighten worship, and devoted akhlakul karimah to be ma’rifatullāh.

Abstract

The pesantren learning system is considered as an alternative system that is presented in overcoming the various moral problems that occur today. Pesantren Persatuan Islam 1-2 Bandung, as the first pesantren to give birth to other pesantren regulations, certainly has a unique model and education system. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method in Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung. The results illustrate that the education model of the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung has three educational paths, namely the Islamic boarding school education pathway, the school education pathway, and the out-of-school education pathway. The pesantren education pathway and the school education pathway are presented in the general curriculum and pesantren curriculum, both boarding and non-boarding, which are regulated at each level of education at the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung, namely the Tajhiziyyah, Tsanawiyyah, Diniyyah Wustha, and Mualimien levels. The learning system presented seeks to combine various disciplines with religious knowledge, thus giving birth to strong and solid Islamic values. Meanwhile, this pesantren also has an educational path outside the pesantren which is provided through family education activities, routine teaching activities, special recitation for mothers, special courses for religious studies, routine tadarus and various studies of PERSIS scholars broadcast through PERSISTV. Thus the various activities presented through this educational model and system are able to produce students who have graduates who are competent in all fields. These graduates are proven by the presence of entrepreneurs, scientists, well-known figures, education practitioners, and scholars who were born thanks to the education that has been organized by the Islamic Boarding School 1-2 Bandung.

The reality of life illustrates the low level of human concern on environment. In fact, it undeniably promotes environmental damage nationally and globally. Therefore, the ecosystem damage in various places and regions has become a serious threat to the survival of the life of the universe. Humans are closely related to nature and they have a great responsibility to protect the universe. In regard to this issue. This article provides an overview of the ideal human strategy, namely Insan Kamil, as a means of increasing awareness of our status as ‘Abdun and our role as caliph in instilling awareness of environmental love through Green Education. This study employed a qualitative approach in the form of literature study in collecting data. The result found that Insan Kamil is considered as a human who is trying to realize his status as a servant of Allah and his role as khalifatullah who has a Divine vision to worship Allah and they also have mission in maintaining natural order and prosperity of the environment. Through the approach of spiritual education, its strategy must be applied within family, school, and community. Thus, it is clear that the strategy of this Insan Kamil is not only in the scope of formal education, but non-formal and in-formal education must also have the same objective integration in order to foster awareness of environmental love through Green Education. Abstract

Women in politics are not easy because of the dominant culture of the patriarchy, so that communication sometimes becomes an obstacle. Islam is a religion that really respects and respects women and men before Allah absolutely. Islam eliminates the Jahiliyah tradition which is so discriminatory against women, in Islam men and women are considered as creatures of Allah who are equal, free to have tasarruf, even mutually complementary and in need of one another. This research is a study that deals with the Islamic view of stereotypes of women in the world of politics. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the method of collecting literature data, which aims to provide an understanding of how the Islamic religious views regarding stereotypes of women in the political world. The results of this study indicate that women's opportunities for politics are wide open, however, there are several obstacles faced by women in politics, including: gender disagreement and women's subordination in politics, patriarchal political culture, individual barriers, and institutional and structural obstacles. . Ignoring women and not involving them in activities that benefit society means wasting at least half of society's potential. Keyword: Women, Stereotypes, Islam, Politics

Abstract

Pandangan mengenai wanita yang bekerja seringkali menimbulkan pro dan kontra di masyarakat. Hal ini timbul karena stereotip yang beredar di masyarakat bahwa wanita haruslah dengan baik mengurus rumah tangga, jika seorang wanita bekerja maka dikhawatirkan ia akan lalai dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya dalam rumah tangga. Padahal di zaman modern seperti sekarang, pandangan tersebut sudah bergeser seiring berkembangnya pola pikir masyarakat tentang peranan kaum wanita di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode pengumpulan data kepustakaan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman bagaimana peran wanita dalam membangun ekonomi rumah tangga. Data-data tersebut diperoleh dari dalil Al-Quran, Hadist, dan jurnal terkait peran wanita dan ekonomi Islam. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah Islam memperbolehkan wanita untuk bekerja, selama pekerjaan tersebut tidak bertentangan dengan kodrat seorang wanita dan mendapat izin dari suami-nya. Seorang wanita yang bekerja harus mampu menjaga kehormatannya serta bisa membagi perannya dalam berkarir tanpa melupakan tanggung jawabnya dalam rumah tangga.

Abstract

Religious education is fundamental to be improved, as moral degradation continues to take root around the world. One of the efforts to maintain the value of religious teachings is through the education system, among others through boarding school education. The presence of boarding schools in the middle of society is not only as an educational institution, but also as a religious and religious broadcasting institution. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods at IHAQI Boarding School Bandung Creative Boarding School. The results of the study illustrate that historically pesantren continues to change, in the 21st century pesantren developed using the word pondok to "Boarding School", one of them in IHAQI Creative Boarding School. This shows the birth of the modern post generation as a form of modern boarding school progress in the development of the industrial revolution 4.0 era, in addition to displaying religious knowledge, modern post pesantren that exists in the 21st century also displays various skills in various fields of science. Pesantren has a unique and creative Boarding School system in developing various disciplines and skills needed by the community. This pesantren became a post-modern boarding school that excelled in printing a generation of digital-based Islam. Its more comprehensive-holistic educational patterns make it more likely to create an ideal educational environment for giving birth to people who will be able to bring about a revolution in social, political, economic and religious life movements

Abstract

The character of Islam needs to be nurtured early on in overcoming increasingly degrading moral degradation. One of the educational institutions that has a big role in fostering character is pesantren. Pesantren Kreatif IHAQI Boarding School Bandung is one of the pesantren educational institutions present in the era of industrial revolution 4.0. This pesantren has different characteristics in the process of building santri character. This research uses qualitative approach with case study method at IHAQI Boarding School Bandung Creative Boarding School. The results of the study illustrate that the coaching program presented at IHAQI Boarding School Creative Boarding School is a KBM program, islamic character habituation, self-development and life skills, weekly coaching, monthly coaching, creative coaching, and pesantrenan coaching. From a number of programs presented there are excellent programs that are always anticipated by all students as well as parents of students in the pesantren environment. There are two excellent programs in pesantren, namely workshop and filed trip. This excellent activity in pesantren is a unique and creative activity in developing life skills, both acting, working and speaking skills. This skill is aimed at the formation of santri character, so that students can behave in accordance with Islamic values based on the experience, knowledge and examples of educators.
