Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa persuasif yang digunakan dalam iklan di platform media sosial TikTok. Dalam era digital saat ini, TikTok telah menjadi salah satu platform yang sangat populer, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Penggunaan bahasa yang efektif dan persuasi dalam iklan sangat penting untuk menarik perhatian audiens dan mendorong mereka untuk melakukan tindakan tertentu. Bahasa persuasi adalah jenis bahasa yang digunakan untuk mempengaruhi pikiran, sikap, atau perilaku orang lain. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk meyakinkan orang agar melakukan sesuatu atau mengubah pandangan mereka terhadap suatu hal. Bahasa persuasi sering digunakan dalam berbagai konteks, seperti pidato politik, iklan, penjualan, dan diskusi argumen. Penggunaan kata-kata yang persuasif, penekanan pada emosi, logika yang kuat, dan pemilihan kata yang tepat adalah beberapa elemen kunci dalam bahasa persuasi. Melalui metode analisis konten, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai teknik gaya bahasa persuasi yang digunakan dalam iklan di TikTok dan mengevaluasi efektivitasnya.

Abstract

A marketing process that uses media features as a sales facility starts with product branding and ends with expanding sales reach is referred to as digital marketing or digitization capabilities. This research aims to find out what market digitalization applications used. Then, this research considered of implementation digitalization in selling transactions, payment systems, and market management, it also discussed the impact of market digitalization in carrying out selling activities and payment transaction in Kampung Baru Public Market Makassar. Descriptive qualitative method has been used in this research. Interviews were conducted with traders and a staff using purposive technique. Observations were made in the field as well as observing objects through the application platform. This study found the types of applications used in the market area are divided into sales applications, payment transactions, and market management applications. The use of this application originated from the COVID-19 pandemic which required activities to be carried out from home. Some of the impacts felt for traders include escalate sales, enlarge sales channels, improving promotion of the products and services, effective time and sales, and accelerate the processing of billing, verification, and payment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influenced of the Working Environment on employee performance at the General Election Commission in South Sulawesi Province. The population in this Research is all employees consist of 37 people. The number of samples used were 37 people using total sampling theory. The data were collected by using the description method and questionnaires distribution. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis using Statistic application. The result of this study indicate that the Working Environment variable has a positive and significant influenced on Employee Performance variables, with a significant value about 0.001, and coefficient value about 0.405. Testing results of t value is 5.461 bigger than the t table > 2.030. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant connection between the working environment and employee performance at the General Election Commission in South Sulawesi Province. The influence of the work environment on employee performance is 46%, while 54% is influenced by an unknown variable or variables not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study analyzed the use of language of negotiation between sellers and buyers at Karisa traditional market in Jeneponto Regency using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through observation, recording, and interviews, and analyzed using discourse analysis. The study found that both sellers and buyers use various linguistic strategies, including bargaining, flattery, and persuasive language, to achieve a successful negotiation outcome. Additionally, the use of local languages, such as Bugis, Makassar, and Jeneponto, is common in the negotiation process to establish a sense of familiarity and trust. The study suggests that the use of local languages should be considered in the negotiation process, particularly in traditional markets. Based on these results, The study did not identify a single "best" way to use the language of negotiation, as the use of different linguistic strategies depended on the negotiation context and individual preferences. However, the study did find that some linguistic strategies were more effective than others in achieving a successful negotiation outcome. For example, both sellers and buyers found that bargaining and the use of persuasive language were effective in persuading the other party to agree to a favorable price or deal. Furthermore, the use of local languages was found to be an effective way to establish a sense of trust and rapport between the sellers and buyers. These findings highlight the importance of understanding the negotiation context and the preferences of the other party to use the language of negotiation effectively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of service quality on tourist satisfaction in Fort Rotterdam, Makassar. The main population of this study consists of 30 tourists. A study using aggregate sampling theory used a sample size of 30 people. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires using descriptive methods. The analysis involved the application of simple linear regression using statistical tools. The research results show a positive and significant effect of the variable quality service on the satisfaction of the tourist with a significance value of 0.001 and a coefficient of 0.405. The test results show a calculated t-value of 5.461, which exceeds the critical t-table value of 2.030. This leads to the conclusion that there is a positive and significant relationship between service quality and tourist satisfaction at Fort Rotterdam in Makassar. The effect of service quality on tourist satisfaction is 46%, the remaining 54% is influenced by unknown or unexamined variables in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact and influence of social media on FoMO among higher education students. The study utilizes a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include distributing questionnaires and conducting in-depth interview. The findings of this study highlight a significant relationship between the level of social media engagement and increased FoMO, as well as identifying specific behaviors that affect students' FoMO levels. Additionally, the study identifies specific social media behaviors, such as constantly checking for updates, comparing oneself to others, and fearing exclusion from social events as contributing factors to heightened FoMO. The research underscores the need for awareness and critical engagement with social media to mitigate its negative effects on college students.

Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat di Indonesia dalam berinvestasi di pasar modal masih terbilang kecil apabila dibandingkan dengan negara tetangga seperti Malaysia dan Singapura, bahkan sangat jauh apabila dibandingkan dengan negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat. Hal ini terlihat dari tingkat keterlibatan masyarakat yang berinvestasi di Pasar Modal Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana memilih aplikasi investasi yang baik dan ciri-ciri investasi bodong pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Lubbul Labib. Metode pengabdian dilakukan melalui dua tahap yaitu tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh santri putra putri tingkat SMP, dan dilaksanakan di serambi masjid dan di mushollah. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bahwa santri putra maupun putri sangat antusias dalam materi yang sudah disampaikan.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, pesantren tentu diuji oleh keilmuan yang marak dan beragam, yang mampu mengganggu keseimbangsan keilmuan pesantren yang memiliki ciri khas sejak abad ke-16, yakni kitab kuning. Namun demikian, seorang kiai sebagai pemimpin sebuah pesantren memiliki peran yang sangat sentral dalam keberlangsungan sebuah pesantren. Bagaiamana peran kiai dalam mempertahankan minat santri pada kitab kuning di tengah gelombang keilmuan modern yang semakin menarik minat para santrri yang notabene kaula muda. Penulis mengangkat penilitian komparasi yakni PP. Annuqayah daerah Lubangsa dan PP. Sumber Payung daerah Babussalam. Penulis menggunakan wawancara dan observasi untuk mengumpulkan data dengan penelitian lapangan. Adapun peran kiai di kedua pesantren untuk meningkatkan minat santri belajar kitab kuning memiliki perbedaan dan persamaan. Persamaannya adalah kedua kiai sama-sama mengampu ajian kitab yang rutin dilaksakan di pesantren. Perbedaannya adalah pesantren lubangsa lebih memberikan stimulus dengan ajakan yang tersirat sedang pesantren Babussalam memberikan ketegasan kurikulum yang harus dilewati oleh santri-santrinya yakni belajar kitab kuning menggunakan metode Nubdatul Bayan.

Abstract

Intercultural communication is a process of exchanging information or ideas between two or more individuals from different cultural backgrounds. The purpose of this study is to identify communication patterns and assess intercultural communication competencies. The data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method and were collected through interviews and questionnaires. The research was conducted at Pangkalan Utama TNI AL VI. This study involved nine respondents, who are personnel or employees at Pangkalan Utama TNI AL VI. The findings indicate the presence of three communication patterns: primary, secondary, and circular communication patterns. The challenges faced by the personnel include physical barriers, differences in experience, and competition; however, these do not significantly hinder communication due to their understanding of intercultural communication competencies, which encompass motivation, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' creativity through a project-based learning model in grade V of SD Negeri 98 Jambi. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Where each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection carried out in 2 cycles. The subjects and place of research were grade V students of SD Negeri 98 Jambi with a total of 30 students. Data in the study were obtained from observations. Analysis of actions was descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the application of project-based learning models can improve the creativity of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 98 Jambi. The increase in presentation in each cycle is: cycle I the percentage obtained was 74.6%. In cycle II the percentage increased to 85.3%. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is that the use of project-based learning models or Project Based Learning (PjBL) can improve the creativity of fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 98 Jambi.
