Abstract

Background: Vaccination efforts are carried out to reduce the transmission of covid-19, but the fear of the emergence of Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) makes people worried and looking for anicipatory actions, namely by consumption of coconut water before and after covid-19 vaccine. Objectives: To find out public’s perception regarding the consmption of coconut water before and after covid-19 vaccine in Samaturue Village. Research Metodes: This study is a descriptive study with a sample of part of the community of Samaturue Village. Sampling with the purposive sampling method was 95 people.. Results: The reseach shows that as many as 72,6% people know that coconut water content can reduce fever. As many as 65,3% people agree to consume coconut water before and after the vaccine. People who consumed coconut water before the vaccine were 23,2%. Conclusion: From the results of research that has been carried out, the community knows the benefits and content of coconut water to relieve fever as much as 73,7%, the persection of consuming coconut water before and after covid-19 is 65,3%, then 23,2% of people who consume coconut water, the encouraging factor for consuming coconut water comes from themselvers with a percentage of 15,8%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of giving Biohayati fertilizer, giving Rhizobium bacteria and also the interaction of giving Biohayati fertilizer on soybean production. This research was carried out in Laut Tador Village, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. At an altitude of ± 12 meters above sea level with flat topography. This research used a factorial RAK (randomized group design) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the provision of Bio-Biological Fertilizer, which consists of four levels, namely: B0 = No treatment, B1 = Bio-biotic solution with a dose of 18 ml/liter of water, B2 = Bio-biological solution with a dose of 20 ml/liter of water, B3 = Bio-biological solution with a dose of 22 ml/liter of water. The second factor is that the administration of Rhizobium bacteria is carried out at three levels, namely: R0 = no treatment, R1 = Rhizobium at a dose of 1.6 kg/plot (seeds mixed with Rhizobium solution), R2 = Rhizobium at a dose of 1.8 kg/plot (Rhizobium is watered in land). The results of the research show that the effect of providing Biohayati has a significant effect on soybean plant production, namely the number of pods and filled pods. The effect of giving Rhizobium bacteria has a significant effect on soybean plant production, namely the number of pods and filled pods. The interaction effect of giving Biohayati and Rhizobium bacteria on soybean production did not have a significant effect. Providing a biological solution at a dose of 22 ml/liter of water and Rhizobium at a dose of 1.6 kg/production plot to soybean plants is the best dose.

Abstract

Melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini diusulkan sebagai rintisan wadah sosialisasi hasil karya yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa, salah satunya media edukatif berupa kartu yang memuat gambar dan kata yang ukuranya bisa disesuaikan dengan siswa yang dihadapi. Flashcard merupakan media berbasis visual yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh anak-anak agar merasa tidak bosan ketika mempelajari bahasa inggris. Bahasa inggris merupakan Bahasa internasional yang menjadi bahasa wajib untuk dipelajari di sekolah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan flashcard dan cara penggunaanya untuk meningkatkan kosa-kata dalam Bahasa inggris. Kegiatan ini yaitu eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi. Target luaran yang dicapai ialah anak-anak memahami tentang flashcard, mampu menerapkan permainan flashcard dan dapat membuat hasil belajar anak-anak meningkat. Metode yang diterapkan melibatkan pengenalan hewan-hewan, bentuk, dan kegiatan interaktif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukan pendekatan inovatif dengan memanfaatkan flashcard meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman anak-anak taman baca PEKA terhadap Bahasa inggris. Saran yang diberikan mencakup penerapan terus menerus metode pembelajaran flashcard dan pelibatan orang tua dalam mendukung pembelajaran. Abstract

Saman dance has many uniqueness both from the movements and messages conveyed through verse. This study aims to examine the history and values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance, then the focus of research is the values of da'wah contained in Saman Dance verses. In this study, the author is interested in understanding how Saman Dance plays a role in spreading da'wah values in the Gayo tribal community by using qualitative descriptive research methods through literature study analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions from various articles and research data source books. By exploring the verses of Saman Dance, this study highlights some of the values of da'wah in Saman Dance. First, there are verses of praise to Allah and greetings to the audience as a form of respect. Second, there is a moral message conveyed through poetry, including the values of togetherness, courtesy, and gratitude. Third, there is a call to protect and preserve nature, in line with Islamic teachings on harmony between humans and their environment. Fourth, there is an encouragement to keep trying in the face of adversity.

Abstract

Cot Gud Village is a village in Aceh Besar Regency, where waste management is still carried out conventionally, especially by collected and taken to a landfill or destroyed by burning. This form of waste disposal is not environmentally favorable, especially to the air that humans breathe. One strategy to overcome this problem is the zero-waste concept approach, a waste management strategy with the aim of reducing or eliminating the amount of waste produced by households by recycling. The purpose of this community service activity is to educate residents of Cot Gud Village in waste management with the zero-waste concept. This activity was carried out using the socialization method and application of household-scale bio pores which was carried out in September 2024 in Cot Gud Village, consisting of two socializations, namely: 1) socialization of organic and inorganic waste sorting as an initial movement of the zero waste-based waste management concept, and 2) socialization of waste management with the zero waste concept using the bio pore method, specifically by a tool made of PVC pipes and modified into a tool that can decompose household organic waste into compost that can fertilize the soil around the bio pores. From the evaluation results, it was found that residents already recognize the types of waste and how processing can be done on a household scale.

Abstract

The efficiency of sheep reproduction is influenced by various factors, including feed management and environmental conditions. This study aims to evaluate the effect of feed management and environmental conditions on the reproductive efficiency of local sheep in Jambi. A total of 60 local sheep were divided into three treatment groups: (A) high-quality feed with an optimal environment, (B) standard feed with an optimal environment, and (C) standard feed with a suboptimal environment. The reproductive parameters observed included estrus rate, conception rate, pregnancy rate, and litter size. The results showed that Group A had the highest reproductive efficiency, with an estrus rate of 95%, a conception rate of 85%, and an average litter size of 1.8 lambs per ewe. In contrast, Group C had the lowest reproductive efficiency, with a 65% estrus rate, a 50% conception rate, and an average litter size of 1.2 lambs per ewe. The findings indicate that nutritional intake and environmental factors significantly affect reproductive efficiency, with high-quality feed and optimal environmental conditions yielding the best reproductive performance. This study suggests that improving feed management and optimizing environmental conditions can enhance sheep productivity and contribute to the sustainability of local sheep farming.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang sebagian besar wilayahnya terdiri dari pesisir. Peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan tingginya harga lahan perkotaan serta eksistensi laut sebagai mata pencaharian, memicu masyarakat untuk bertempat tinggal di wilayah pesisir. Pertumbuhan penduduk dengan permasalahan perekonomian mengakibatkan masyarakat membangun permukiman yang tidak sesuai dengan rencana tata ruang dan tidak standar yang melahirkan permukiman kumuh kawasan pesisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik permukiman kumuh yang berada pada kawasan pantai kota-kota di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yaitu analisis deskriptif melalui tinjauan literatur dari jurnal-jurnal yang menganalisis permukiman kumuh kawasan pesisir Indonesia. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kesamaan karakter permukiman kumuh kawasan pantai Indonesia yaitu permukiman yang padat serta bangunan yang tidak beraturan, jaringan jalan (aksesibilitas) yang kurang, drainase yang tidak memadai, pengelolaan sampah dan pembuangan limbah yang buruk. Permukiman pesisir juga rentan akan bencana alam dan kebakaran karena posisinya di pesisir dan aktivitas penduduk dalam permukiman yang padat berpotensi terjadinya kebakaran.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum based on thematic interpretation as a comprehensive strategy in responding to contemporary social problems. The research method used is a literature review, which includes the collection, analysis, and synthesis of various relevant theoretical and empirical sources. The results of the study indicate that the PAI curriculum based on thematic interpretation, which integrates a deep understanding of the verses of the Qur'an with actual social issues, can improve students' competence in mastering verse interpretation and strengthen educational science competence. This study reveals that the thematic approach in learning the Qur'an makes it easier for students to understand the material. In addition, this study offers strategic steps in implementing thematic interpretation learning, which is suitable for students with a general education background. The novelty of this study lies in the combination of the concept of thematic interpretation with contemporary social problems, which have not been widely explored in the context of the PAI curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the effect of changes in gold prices, interest rates and exchange rates on IHSG stock returns. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, testing theories through measuring research variables with numbers and analyzing data with statistics. The object of research can be an object, thing, or person that can provide data or information needed for research. The objects in this study are data on changes in gold prices, interest rates and exchange rates and the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in 2021-2024. The results of this study found that changes in gold prices, interest rates, and exchange rates all have a significant effect on IHSG stock returns (Composite Stock Price Index). These three factors often interact and influence each other, both directly and indirectly, in determining the performance of the stock market in Indonesia.
