Abstract

Abstract

Krueng Sabee is one of the rivers located in Krueng Sabee District, Aceh Jaya Regency. Krueng Sabee has a main river with a length of 33.27 km and a watershed area of 380.90 km2 and an average river elevation of 0.4%. Krueng Rusi and Krueng Cangeh divide the Krueng Sabee River flow in the upstream. Krueng Sabee often overflows which causes flooding around its flow area. To determine the design flood discharge for the Return Period (PU) of 2.5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 years that occurred in Krueng Sabe using the HSS Nakayasu and HSS Synder Methods is the main objective of this study. Rainfall data used from station A in Pulo Raya Village and station B in Pante Kuyun Village. The flood discharge for Return Period (PU) 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 is 1716.66 m³/sec, 1985.10 m³/sec, 2162.83 m³/sec, 2387.39 m³/sec, 2553.99 m³/sec and 2719.36 m³/sec is the result of the Nakayasu HSS Method analysis. The Snyder HSS method, obtains the design flood discharge values for various Return Periods (PU) as follows: 2 years 14,479.83 m³/s, 5 years 16,746.64 m³/s, 10 years 18,247.47 m³/s, 25 years 20,143.77 m³/s, 50 years, 21,550.55 m³/s Return Period 100 years 22,946.95 m³/s. It was found that the Snyder Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) method produces a larger flood discharge compared to the Nakayasu HSS.

Abstract

Construction delays are a common challenge in building projects and are often caused by inaccurate scheduling, limited resources, and ineffective project management. The ASPIDMIL Building project experienced a significant delay, with an actual duration of 244 days compared to the planned 180 days. This study evaluates rescheduling using the Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) to identify critical activities, assess acceleration potential, and compare cost efficiency. The analysis shows that CPM reduces the project duration to 220 days, while PDM provides a greater improvement with a shortened duration of 209 days. Correspondingly, labor costs decrease by 4.35% under CPM and 9.13% under PDM. These results demonstrate that PDM is more effective for complex building projects that require overlapping activities and flexible logical relationships.

Abstract

The development of mobile banking services has increased the convenience of financial transactions, but has also increased the risk of potentially fraudulent transactions. The complexity of transaction patterns and data integrity pose challenges in building an accurate and interpretable detection system. This study aims to analyze the risks of mobile banking transactions using XGBoost and provide an interpretation of factors that influence prediction results using Shapley Additive Explanations (SHAP). The data used are 6,898,889 mobile banking transactions in 2023 with six main attributes. The research stages include data preprocessing, feature extraction based on time and transaction behavior, normalization, data partitioning, anomaly detection using autoencoders, and classification using XGBoost. Autoencoders are used to generate pseudo-labels based on reconstruction error values, while SHAP is used to interpret the contribution of each feature to the model's prediction results. The results show that the autoencoder produces a threshold anomaly of 0.0345 and identifies 1,379 transactions as anomalies. The XGBoost model is able to recognize all anomalous transactions with a recall value of 1.00, although some normal transactions are still predicted as anomalies. The SHAP analysis results show that trx_value is the most influential feature on predictions, followed by channel_type and transaction_hour. This study demonstrates that the combination of Autoencoder, XGBoost, and SHAP can support the detection of potentially fraudulent transactions while providing a more transparent interpretation of the factors influencing the model's decisions.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has encouraged companies to manage data more effectively in decision-making processes, including inventory management. Problems such as overstock, deadstock, and stockout frequently occur due to the lack of data-driven management based on historical transactions. This study aims to analyze and classify inventory demand levels using the Naïve Bayes algorithm to optimize inventory management at PT Soala Gogo Natama. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The dataset consists of 300 observations divided into training data (210) and testing data (90) with 9 variables. The analysis process includes data preprocessing, implementation of the Gaussian Naïve Bayes algorithm using Python, and model evaluation using accuracy, confusion matrix, and classification report. The results indicate that the model successfully classifies data into three categories: low, medium, and high, with an accuracy of 78.89%. Model evaluation shows good performance in the low and high classes, while misclassification occurs in the medium class due to overlapping characteristics between classes. This suggests that the model is effective in identifying data patterns but has limitations when handling data with similar distributions. In conclusion, the Naïve Bayes algorithm is effective in supporting inventory management decision-making, particularly in determining stock priorities based on historical data.
