Abstract

This calligraphy training program conducted at SDN 050612 Suka Jadi Village aims to introduce calligraphy as an art form to elementary school students, enhancing their artistic skills, fostering an appreciation for cultural arts, and providing insights into the significance of calligraphy in Islamic contexts. The program was conducted in two sessions: the first for introducing the theory of calligraphy, and the second for hands-on practice in writing Arabic letters. Using methods of lectures, demonstrations, and direct practice, the training successfully showed positive results, where students exhibited improvements in their calligraphy skills. Despite some challenges such as time constraints and limited resources, this training program successfully engaged students and provided long-term benefits, particularly in their artistic development.

Abstract

Karya ilmiah adalah karya tulis yang disusun secara sistematis menurut aturanatau kaidah tertentu berdasarkan hasil berpikir ilmiah. Proses berfikir ilmiah terdiri atas langkah-langkah tertentu yang didukung oleh tiga unsur, yaitu (1) pengajuan masalah, (2) perumusan hipotesis, (3) verifikasi yang dilaporkan dengan metode tertentu (Smith, 2010:1). Karya ilmiah terbagi atas beberapa jenis, yaitu laporan penelitian, makalah, skripsi, tesis, disertasi dan proposal (Jauhari, 2010:5). Adab beberapa bagianpenting yang haru sdiperhatikan dari strukturkarya ilmiah diantaranya, Judul, Pendahuluan, kerangka teoritis, metodologi penelitian, pembahasan, kesimpulan dan saran, dan juga dafta rpustaka. Selain memahami struktur kaya ilmiah kita juga mempelajari jenis-jenisnya diantaranya, artikel ilmiah ,makalah, skripsi, tesis, disertasi, paper,dan kertas kerja. Kita juga mampu memahami fungsi-fungsi umum karya tulis ilmiah diantarnya: Fungsi untuk pendidikan, Fungsi  untuk penelitian dan Fungsi fungsional. Terdapat banyak pilihan melalui karya tulis ilmiah baik melalui penelitian, artikel ilmiah di jurnal, artikel ilmiah popular di media massa, makalah seminar, buku, diktat, modul, maupun karya terjemahan. Dimanfaatkan atau tidak pilihan tersebut akan sangat tergantung dari berbagai faktor. Sebagiaman teori menajemen menyatakan bahwa perilaku akan timbul diakibatkan oleh kemampuan, kemauan (motivasi), dan kesempatan.

Abstract

The research highlights the results of a multivariable study on the influence of purchase descriptors on consumer happiness. Using a well-established consumer decision-making paradigm, participants were randomly assigned to hypothetical scenarios in which purchase descriptors were experimentally manipulated. The variables consumer happiness, subjective well-being, consumer choice, and additional consumer attitudes were used as outcome variables. There is evidence that participants varied in terms of consumer happiness based on the specific purchase description conditions they were assigned. This research contributes to the scientific literature on consumer decision making by adding clarity to the role of important purchase-related variables on consumer happiness.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Islamic ethical values into business competitive strategies using Porter’s Five Forces framework. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through literature studies, drawing from academic journals, classical Islamic sources (Qur’an and Hadith), and contemporary scholars. The study examines how each of Porter’s forces threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers, threat of substitutes, and industry rivalry can be aligned with Islamic ethical principles such as justice (‘adl), honesty (shiddiq), trust (amanah), and public benefit (maslahah). The findings indicate that integrating Islamic values can address weaknesses in Porter’s model, which is predominantly profit-oriented and economically driven. For example, ethical competition encourages market fairness and discourages monopolies; supplier and buyer relationships are guided by transparency and mutual respect; and innovation is seen as a means to serve, not to dominate. The incorporation of Islamic ethics into competitive strategy not only fosters sustainability and long-term business relationships but also transforms competition into a means of spiritual and social contribution. This approach suggests that companies operating in Muslim-majority environments or with shariah-based principles can adopt a more holistic and balanced strategy achieving competitive advantage while adhering to moral responsibilities. The study contributes to the development of Islamic strategic management literature and offers practical implications for Muslim entrepreneurs and policymakers seeking ethical and effective frameworks for industrial competitiveness.

Abstract

Optimalisasi jaringan listrik memegang peranan yang sangat krusial. Salah satu disiplin ilmu yang berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi jaringan listrik adalah graf. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang dilakukan di lingkungan perumahan Cardjo KM 15 Balikpapan dengan menganalisis panjang kabel listrik yang terpasang. Untuk memecahkan masalah keoptimuman jaringan listrik digunakan MST (Minimum Spanning Tree) dengan algoritma Prim. Metode Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan jaringan kabel dengan memilih jalur terpendek antar titik-titik penting. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data denah rumah dan kabel yang mencerminkan struktur perumahan, dan hasilnya menunjukkan efektivitas dalam menentukan jalur kabel yang efisien secara energi dan biaya. Dengan menggunakan algoritma prim didapatkan efisiensi penggunaan kabel dari bobot awal 507 menjadi 316.

Abstract

The decline in fish catches among bagan boats in Labuhan Jambu, Sumbawa District, is caused by overfishing, illegal fishing, and climate change. To address this issue, technological innovations such as sonar systems that emit acoustic signals to attract fish are necessary. This study aims to design piezoelectric transducers and transmitter drivers capable of emitting acoustic frequencies that effectively attract fish around bagan boats, thereby increasing catch yields. The methodology included system design, fabrication, and testing. The developed transducer operates across a frequency range of 1–75 kHz, and field tests were carried out by installing the transducer beneath the bagan boat. Results indicated that fish responded quickly to frequencies between 500–800 Hz, as evidenced by the appearance of bubbles on the water surface, suggesting fish presence. The main species caught included pelagic fish, skipjack, and squid. Fish catches increased by approximately 2–3 times compared to conventional methods. The transducer and transmitter driver using piezoelectric materials were successfully developed and functioned effectively. The final prototype was capable of emitting acoustic frequencies from 1 Hz to 100 kHz. This innovation demonstrates the potential of piezoelectric transducer technology to significantly enhance fish catches in bagan boat operations in Labuhan Jambu. Abstract

Digital transformation in education demands teachers' readiness to utilize technology, including digital learning accounts such as belajar.id provided by the government. However, the reality in the field shows that many teachers in rural areas have not optimized these accounts due to limited digital literacy. This service activity aims to improve the competence of SD Negeri No. 28 Inpres Luaor teachers in activating and optimally utilizing learning accounts. The method used includes identification of partner needs, activity planning, training implementation, and evaluation and follow-up. The results showed that all participants were able to activate their learning.id accounts and understand the basic functions of Google Workspace for Education services. This training made the majority of participants able to apply the services contained in the belajar.id account. The training also succeeded in increasing teachers' confidence in using technology and triggering continuous learning initiatives through teacher learning groups. Using a contextual and participatory approach, the training proved effective in empowering teachers in rural school settings to adopt learning technology more actively and sustainably.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi finansial (Financial Technology atau FinTech) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pola transaksi masyarakat, termasuk di kalangan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh FinTech terhadap preferensi pembayaran digital mahasiswa, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui penyebaran kuesioner online kepada 100 mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Sistem Informasi di STIKOM Tunas Bangsa, Pematangsiantar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 83% responden lebih memilih metode pembayaran digital dibandingkan tunai, dengan alasan utama kepraktisan, kecepatan transaksi, dan berbagai keuntungan seperti promo dan cashback. Aplikasi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah OVO, DANA, dan GoPay. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat sebagian mahasiswa yang menggunakan pembayaran tunai karena keterbatasan fasilitas, kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan data, dan kurangnya kebiasaan menggunakan aplikasi FinTech. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa FinTech memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kebiasaan transaksi mahasiswa, namun adopsi teknologi belum sepenuhnya merata.

Abstract

The creative economy is a strategic sector in driving local economic growth. Bengkalis Regency has great potential in developing the creative economy, especially through unique local products. However, the limited knowledge and skills of business actors are the main challenges. This study aims to design and implement a local product-based entrepreneurship training program in Bengkalis District. The method used is a participatory approach by involving local business actors in every stage of training. The results show a significant increase in participants' understanding of business management, digital marketing, and product innovation. This program is expected to be a model for empowering the creative economy in other areas.

Abstract

Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) is a primary resource for data in research on determining word-meaning similarity in Indonesian. This study investigates the effectiveness of word embedding methods and the term frequency–inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) weighting technique in assessing the semantic similarity of synonym pairs. The objective is to measure the similarity of synonym word pairs listed in KBBI by applying cosine similarity, leveraging TF-IDF weighting, various word embedding models, and latent semantic analysis (LSA). The methodology involved data collection, followed by a text preprocessing stage consisting of case folding, stopword removal, stemming, and tokenization. The processed data were transformed into vector representations using word embedding models, including Word2Vec, fastText, GloVe, and sentence-bidirectional encoder representations from transformers (S-BERT), and TF-IDF. LSA was employed for dimensionality reduction of the vectors before similarity testing using cosine similarity, with final evaluation of the results. The findings revealed that fastText significantly improved the similarity scores between synonym pairs, achieving an average similarity score of 0.901 for 30 synonym pairs. Evaluation results indicated an accuracy of 0.88, a recall of 1.00, a precision of 0.81, and an F1 score of 0.90. These results suggest that fastText is more effective in enhancing the accuracy of synonym meaning similarity measurements. Future research is encouraged to expand the corpus and further explore the use of word embedding for semantic similarity tasks. This study contributes to the natural language processing advancement and provides a potential foundation for more accurate language-based applications that assess word meaning similarity in KBBI.
