Abstract

This study explores the integration of Islamic ethical values into business competitive strategies using Porter’s Five Forces framework. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method through literature studies, drawing from academic journals, classical Islamic sources (Qur’an and Hadith), and contemporary scholars. The study examines how each of Porter’s forces threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers, bargaining power of buyers, threat of substitutes, and industry rivalry can be aligned with Islamic ethical principles such as justice (‘adl), honesty (shiddiq), trust (amanah), and public benefit (maslahah). The findings indicate that integrating Islamic values can address weaknesses in Porter’s model, which is predominantly profit-oriented and economically driven. For example, ethical competition encourages market fairness and discourages monopolies; supplier and buyer relationships are guided by transparency and mutual respect; and innovation is seen as a means to serve, not to dominate. The incorporation of Islamic ethics into competitive strategy not only fosters sustainability and long-term business relationships but also transforms competition into a means of spiritual and social contribution. This approach suggests that companies operating in Muslim-majority environments or with shariah-based principles can adopt a more holistic and balanced strategy achieving competitive advantage while adhering to moral responsibilities. The study contributes to the development of Islamic strategic management literature and offers practical implications for Muslim entrepreneurs and policymakers seeking ethical and effective frameworks for industrial competitiveness.

Abstract

Teaching Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in secondary schools often faces challenges related to students’ low interest and understanding, especially when the material taught is abstract. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of animation-based video learning media in improving students’ learning outcomes and engagement in IRE lessons. The research employed a Classroom Action Research design conducted in two cycles involving 37 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Kendari. Data were collected through observations, learning achievement tests, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed a significant increase in teacher activity from 70% to 86.66% and student activity from 63.33% to 86.66%. The class average score improved from 73.33 in the pre-cycle to 93.24 in the second cycle, with overall mastery reaching 89.19%. The findings indicate that animated videos effectively bridge the understanding of abstract concepts, motivate students to participate more actively, and create an engaging and participatory learning atmosphere. This study underscores the importance of integrating visual-audio media into IRE learning and contributes to the literature on the effectiveness of digital media in religious education. The implications suggest that IRE teachers are encouraged to adopt animation-based videos as an innovative teaching strategy, while future research could explore the long-term effects on students’ affective and psychomotor domains.

Abstract

During the Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) held from February 16 to 21, 2025, 90 Management students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Hazairin (FEB Unihaz), participated in activities at several partner industry locations in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) and Central Java Provinces. One of the locations visited was the Batik Village of Giriloyo. Activities carried out during the field work included the signing of cooperation agreements, outreach sessions, and batik-making practice. During the batik-making practice, students had the opportunity to be creative and innovative in designing batik patterns. This activity helped enhance students’ creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan Nomor 869/Pid.B/2021/PN.Jkt.Sel memberikan penegasan yurisprudensial yang signifikan mengenai aspek krusial dalam penegakan hukum pidana, yakni imperatifnya pengawasan ketat (terhadap kepatuhan prosedural. Secara khusus, putusan ini menggarisbawahi urgensi akurasi dan konsistensi dalam pendokumentasian waktu pada dua tahap kritis yaitu saat kejadian tindak pidana (tempus delicti) dan saat pelaporan kejadian tersebut kepada otoritas berwenang (locus reportiae). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis yuridis normatif, yang berfokus pada penelaahan prinsip-prinsip hukum, norma, dan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait. Pendekatan ini dilakukan untuk menggali makna, tujuan, dan implikasi hukum yang relevan dalam konteks permasalahan yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya hukum terhadap putusan daluwarsa penuntutan pada perkara penipuan dan/atau penggelapan berdasarkan Putusan Perkara Nomor: 869/Pid.B/2021/PN.Jkt.Sel adalah bahwa penerapan daluwarsa penuntutan sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 78 KUHP menjadi mekanisme penting untuk memberikan kepastian hukum dan melindungi hak terdakwa dari proses hukum yang berkepanjangan. Implikasi terhadap putusan daluwarsa penuntutan atau pelaksanaan pidana pada perkara penipuan dan/atau penggelapan berdasarkan Putusan Perkara Nomor: 869/Pid.B/2021/PN.Jkt.Sel adalah bahwa putusan terkait daluwarsa penuntutan dalam Perkara Nomor: 869/Pid.B/2021/PN.Jkt.Sel menegaskan pentingnya kepastian hukum sebagai prinsip fundamental dalam hukum pidana. Implikasinya adalah perlunya aparat penegak hukum memastikan proses hukum berjalan sesuai dengan batas waktu yang ditentukan, sehingga tidak hanya menciptakan keadilan bagi para pihak tetapi juga menjaga legitimasi penegakan hukum di mata publik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) sebaiknya memperkuat alasan hukum dalam banding atau kasasi dengan mengajukan bukti bahwa penundaan penyidikan atau penuntutan terjadi karena kendala administratif yang tidak disengaja, serta memastikan tidak ada kelalaian yang disengaja dari pihak penegak hukum.

Abstract

The court is an institution that plays an important role in resolving civil conflicts, including in the annulment of marriage. Annulment of marriage is one of the legal actions that involves a legal process to decide whether a marriage is valid or not. This study aims to analyze the jurisprudence of court decisions in cases of annulment of marriage. The research method used is the jurisprudence analysis method, which involves collecting and analyzing data from relevant court decisions. In this analysis, we consider the factors that form the basis of the court in deciding to annul a marriage, such as the legal reasons submitted by the parties filing a lawsuit for annulment of marriage. The results of this study indicate that court decisions in cases of annulment of marriage can vary depending on the applicable law in a jurisdiction, the evidence presented, and the legal arguments presented by the parties involved. Some common reasons for annulment of marriage include fraud, domestic violence, the inability of one party to give valid consent, or violations of laws relating to marriage. In addition, this study also identifies legal developments and trends in court decisions related to annulment of marriage, such as changes in legal interpretation or social factors that influence court decisions. In conclusion, this jurisprudential analysis illustrates the complexity and variation in court decisions in cases of annulment of marriage. These decisions are greatly influenced by the facts and laws applicable in each case.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi berbasis website pada Kantor Desa Sassa berdasarkan bagaimana permasalahan yang telah dikemukakan sebelumnya Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam membangun rancangan dari aplikasi ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu dalam model pengembangan Waterfall. Sistem informasi ini dirancang dengan pendekatan UML yang didesain menggunakan aplikasi online Draw.io. Sedangkan untuk rancangan interface dirancang menggunakan balsamiq mockups 3. Sebelum merancang sistem informasi ini, ada Beberapa langkah harus dilakukan sebelum mengembangkan sistem informasi ini dimulai dengan analisis sistem dan menentukan persyaratan untuk kantor Desa Sassa Kabupaten Luwu Utara.

Abstract

The village of Lau Gumba faces significant ecological problems, especially related to household waste and the lack of environmental aesthetics, which require solutions that are not only technical but also based on social and religious values. Therefore, this community service adopts an ecotheological approach, which combines religious teachings with ecological awareness, through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. The goal of this program is to instill interfaith ecological ethics, strengthen active community participation, and redesign village environmental governance. The activities carried out include environmental care actions involving various religious groups, planting 100 trees as a form of reforestation, providing ecobins for waste management, as well as recycling waste such as used cooking oil into candles and making natural mosquito repellent sprays. The results obtained from this activity include a cleaner environment, an increase in ecological awareness of around 30%, and more harmonious interfaith social relations. These findings show that ecotheology not only serves as a strategy in sustainable environmental management, but also as an instrument for cross-faith value education. Thus, ecotheology enriches the discourse on spirituality-based environmental education, making it an effective approach in solving environmental problems while strengthening interreligious harmony.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of dietary patterns in supporting the physical health and development of adolescents in Indonesia. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and thematic analysis. The results indicate that the nutritional status of Indonesian adolescents still faces a double burden of malnutrition, encompassing both undernutrition and overnutrition. Unbalanced dietary patterns, low intake of energy, protein, and fat, as well as insufficient fiber consumption, are the main contributing factors. Nutritional knowledge, body image, and family influence especially the role of mothers significantly affect dietary quality. It is concluded that holistic nutritional interventions and continuous education are essential to support optimal adolescent growth and development.

Abstract

Massive global climate change is happening today, resulting in frequent unexpected weather changes. This condition poses a major challenge to various sectors such as aviation, education, and especially the agricultural sector. Metro City as one of the regions in Indonesia that has great potential in the agricultural sector cannot be spared from being an area affected by this natural phenomenon. Therefore, it is necessary to use an effective and accurate prediction method to handle these uncertainties and fluctuations. This study aims to predict rainfall in Metro City using the average-based Fuzzy Time Series Markov Chain method as a prediction method that is known to be effective in analyzing uncertain and fluctuating time series as a decision-making consideration for agricultural actors and the Metro City government. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of monthly average rainfall data for Metro City for the period April 2020 to March 2025 obtained from the Lampung Province Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The results of the study showed that the Fuzzy Time Series Markov Chain method had a fairly good level of accuracy in making predictions with MAE and MAPE values of 28.61712 and 43%. So it can be concluded that the Fuzzy Time Series Markov Chain method is suitable for predicting rainfall data in Metro City for the next month period.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is an attitude and ability to create something new, or innovate old products or services into new products or services that are more useful and have high economic value. This study aims to describe and explore entrepreneurship education in the formation of students' emotional intelligence. The aims of this study are 1) to describe the concept of entrepreneurship education at Darul Ihsan Menganti Islamic Boarding School in Gresik. 2) To describe the implementation of entrepreneurship education at Ponpes Darul Ihsan Menganti Gresik. 3) To describe the impact of entrepreneurship education on the formation of emotional intelligence of students at Ponpes Darul Ihsan Menganti Gresik. To achieve these objectives, researchers used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation and interviews. Interview subjects in this study consisted of caregivers of Islamic boarding schools, coordinators of implementing entrepreneurship education, and several students. While the subject of observation are several male students and female students. The results of this study are: First, all entrepreneurial activities carried out by students are the concept of Berkhidmah or the dedication of students to the kyai. Where the concept of khidmah, for the field of entrepreneurship at this time is called Entrepreneurship education. Second, the implementation of entrepreneurship education activities at Darul Ihsan Menganti Islamic Boarding School in Gresik is divided into several fields of activity carried out by students, namely cooperatives, culinary, Anugerah Water refill depots, Laundry Services and also in the transportation sector of Anugerah Abadi Trans. Third, this entrepreneurship education also has an impact on the students' self-development process, namely training them to be mentally strong, confident, not giving up easily, being patient, being able to maintain relationships with their partners, and of course being able to control their emotions.
