Abstract

About 50%-70% of case that come to a hospital especially to theemergency room are physical trauma or injuries cases. The quality of VeR servicedirectly reflect medicolegal services in hospital because it has broad impactjuridical and can determine one’s fate. This research were done to find out thequality of VeR of injury in Dumai General Hospital during 1 January 2008-31December 2012. This is a descriptive retrospective research. It used Herkutantosscoring method. The sample was all of population were the VeR data in DumaiGeneral Hospital during 1 January 2008-31 December 2012 that were completeand has been signed by the doctor who did the examination. It had been gotten166 VeR reports in Dumai General Hospital during 1 January 2008-31 December2012. Injury survivors most cases are in the age group <18 years old as many as55 victims (33,1%). The overview of the living victims were most frequent malewas 131 victims (78,9%) and the most frequent violence that were experienced bythe victims were blunt violence was 154 VeR (92,8%) with the highest age group<18 years old. About 90% showed good quality in preliminary unit of VeR,44,15% showed poor quality in reporting unit and about 26,65% also showedpoor quality in inference unit. It can be concluded that quality of VeR reports inDumai General Hospital during 1 January 2008-31 December 2012 was 37,46%which was mean it was poor quality.Keywords: Visum et Repertum, injury, the quality of Visum et Repertum of injury

Abstract

ABSTRACTGood quality is necessary given the crucial role in the proceedings of a criminal offense. Approximately 50-70 percent of cases that come to the Pelalawan Selasih General Hospital during the Period from January 1 2009-31 December 2013 were an injury cases and require a Visum et Repertum (VeR) and usually requested by investigators as evidence. This study was conducted to obtain a VeR quality at the Pelalawan Selasih General Hospital during the period from January 1 2009-31 December 2013. In order to achieve the intended objectives, retrospective descriptive approach has been used in this observational study. All VeR data that match to the inclusion criteria were sampled as many as 288 injury. Herkutanto scoring method is used to analyze 13 elements. The results of this study showed that 66 percent of survivors (190 cases of injury) is a type of highest violence in the age group 22-40 years male sex. 93.8 percent (270 cases) of the highest hardness is a result of blunt force. Quality introduction Ver were classified Good (76 percent). While the main and Conclusions section of each classified Medium (64 percent and 75 percent). The result of quality VeR in Pelalawan Selasih Gneeral Hospital is 50%. Based on these findings it can be concluded that in general the quality VeR injury in the Pelalawan Selasih General Hospital during the period from January 1 2009-31 December 2013 were categorized Medium.Keywords: Visum et Repertum, injury, quality of VeR of injury

Abstract

ABSTRACTImplementation of Indonesian Medical Codes of Ethics (KODEKI) values has been public’s highlight ever since National Health Coverage (NHC) is undergone. This is doctor’s autonomy in serving the patients has been limited. The aim of this research is to see how the implementation of the six values of KODEKI in NHC in Dumai City. This qualitative research was using exploration method towards four selected general practitioners who was chosen by snowball sampling method and thus called as informants. Data was collected by using interview technique and recorded by audio recorder. The result showed that each of the informants have all the six values of KODEKI which compromises of altruism, responsibility, professional idealism, accountability, scientific integrity, and social integrity in Dumai eversince NHC has been implemented. This is proven by the informants’ statements which was validated using triangulation technique.Keywords:KODEKI values, national health coverage, Dumai city.

Abstract

Health center is one of the service center that give service and development in Indonesia. The labor at health center must improve service quality in order to create optimal health care to improve the health of society. Professional health workers action needed for increasing the quality and the development health workers profession. The aim of this research is to discover the professional behavior of health-care workers of pulau kijang community health care (Puskesmas), Indragiri Hilir Regency, that was reflected by the six elements of professionalism. The design of this research uses exploration method with qualitative approaches on six health-care workers of Puskesmas Pulau kijang, Indragiri Hilir Regency, who were selected by using snowball sampling method. Data collection was done by interview and recorded with an audio recorder. The result of this research showed that all the informants possess altruism, accountability,honor and integrity, duty and respect for other. There are only some informants who possess excellence. In general, half of the Pulau Kijang community health center (puskesmas) health-care workers possess the elements of professional behavior in carrying their duty, especially in providing service for the patients.Key word : professional behavior, health workers, altruism, accountability, duty, honor and integrity, excellence, respect for others

Abstract

ABSTRACTVisum et Repertum (VeR) is a written statement of doctor who made request by the investigator is required for law enforcement and justice. VeR of injury is the type of VeR that most often requested by the investigator to a doctor. This research were done to find out the quality of VeR of injury in Bengkalis General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013. A descriptive retrospective research was designed using Herkutanto’s scoring method with 13 unit VeR in preliminary unit of Ver, reporting unit of VeR and inference unit of VeR. All VeR data in Bengkalis General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013 were counted as samples a two hundred forty four VeR data in Bengkalis General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013. That were found injury survivors most cases are in the age group 22-40 years old as many as 106 victims (43,44%), mostly male 177 victims (72,54%). The most frequent violence that were experienced by the victims were blunt violence was 280 VeR (85,25%). The preliminary unit of VeR about 69,34% showed medium quality, the reporting unit about 55,09% showed medium quality and also the inference unit about 42,62% showed poor quality. It can be concluded that quality of VeR reports in Bengkalis General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013 was 49% which means poor quality.Keywords: Visum et Repertum, injury, the quality of Visum et Repertum of injury

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Indonesian Medical Codes of Ethics or Kode Etik Kedokteran Indonesia (KODEKI) is a set of ethical profession which used by the doctor in Indonesia as their basic guidelines to behave. In 1st January 2014, Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional or National Health Coverage (NHC) officially applied in Indonesia including Indragiri Hulu Regency. Therefore, to handle the increasing amount of patients in NHC’s era, a general practitioner as a gatekeeper had to still apply the KODEKI. The aim of this research is to know how is the implementation of KODEKI in NHC’s era in Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research uses the design of exploration method with qualitative approach on four general practitioners. The informants of this research were selected by using snowball sampling method which suitable with inclusion criteria. This research was done by interview method with question’s lists and recorded with an audio recorder. The result showed that all of the informants possess altruism, responsibility, professional idealism, accountability, scientific integrity, and social integrity. It showed that general practitioners in NHC’s era in Indragiri Hulu Regency are still applying KODEKI.Keywords : KODEKI values, NHC, Indragiri Hulu

Abstract

The professional behaviour of health-care workers is highly required in concession regions, especially in the coastal regions. This research aims for discovering the professional behaviour of health-care workers of Selat Panjang community health center (Puskesmas), Meranti Islands Regency that was assessed basing on the six elements of professional behaviour. The design of this research uses exploration method with qualitative approaches on nine health-care workers of Selat Panjang community health center (Puskesmas), Meranti Islands Regency, who selected by using snowball sampling method. Data collection was done by interview method and recorded with an audio recorder. The result of this study shows that all the respondents possess altruism, respect for others, honor and integrity, accountability, and duty. There are only some informants who possess excellence. In general, half of the Selat Panjang community health center (Puskesmas) health-care workers possess the elements of professional behaviour in carrying their duty, especially in providing service for the patients.Keyword: professional behaviour, altruism, respect for others, honor and integrity, accountability, excellence, and duty

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe most frequent Visum et repertum (VeR) requested by investigators isVeR of injury. It is because 50-70% of cases that come to the Emergency Unit areinjury cases. A good quality of VeR is required in view of its important role inlitigation of a criminal offense. This study was aimed to understand the quality ofVeR of injury in Pekanbaru Arifin Achmad General Hospital during 1 January2009-31 December 2013. The research was an observational study usingdescriptive retrospective design. This study used Herkutanto’s scoring methodtowards 13 VeR substances. Samples of this study were all data of VeR of injurythat had fulfilled inclusion criteria. The total of samples were 150 samples of VeR.This study suggested that the highest number of living victims of injury cases was61 victims (40,7%) in age group 22-40 years old with the most frequent sex wasmale as many as 120 victims (80%). The most frequent violence was bluntviolence as many as 125 (83,3%) cases with the most frequent age group was 22-40 years old. The quality of VeR in preface was 54,47% (medium), in body partwas 46,22% (poor) and in conclusion was 30,33% (poor). In general, quality ofVeR of injury in Pekanbaru Arifin Achmad General Hospital during 1 january2009-31 december 2013 was 37,75% that could be categorized as poor quality.Keywords: Visum et Repertum, injury, quality of VeR of injury

Abstract

VeR requested by the investigator is required for law enforcement and justice, so that the quality of VeR which made by a general practitioner affect the clarity of a criminal case and also has a big influence for hospital accreditation. This research were done to figure out VeR of injury in Kuantan Singingi General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013. A descriptive retrospective research was designed using Herkutanto’s scoring method. All VeR data in Kuantan Singingi General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013 that were complete and has been signed by the doctor who did the examination were counted as samples a hundred fifty four VeR data in Kuantan Singingi General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013. Were found injury survivors most cases are in the age group 22-40 years old as many as 78 victims (50,7%), mostly male (61,7%). The most frequent violence that were experienced by the victims were blunt violence was 137 VeR (88,9%) with the highest age group 22-40 years old. The preliminary unit of VeR about 72,3% showed medium quality, the reporting unit about 44,09% showed poor quality and also the inference unit about 40% showed poor quality. It can be concluded that quality of VeR reports in Kuantan Singingi General Hospital during 1st January 2009-31st December 2013 was 43,79% which means poor quality.Keywords: Visum et Repertum, injury, the figure of Visum et Repertum of injury

Abstract

ABSTRACTEvery doctors in Indonesia ought to have values and norms held by Kode Etik Kedokteran Indonesia (KODEKI). These values applied when giving health services to patient moreover after Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) program has been implemented since 1st January 2014. This causes general practitioners to work more especially in the primary health facilities or fasilitas kesehatan tingkat pertama (fktp). This program has been implemented all over Indonesia which includes Bengkalis Regency. The aim of the research was to determine implementation of KODEKI values in JKN era in Bengkalis Regency. Design used in this research was exploration method with qualitative approach. Informants were selected using snowball sampling who met inclusion criteria and were willing to be interviewed. There were 4 informants selected. Researcher did direct interview with the informants using guidelines of question and the data were recorded using audio recorder. The result showed that all of the informants possess altruism, responsibility, professional idealism, accountability, scientific integrity and social integrity. Thus, it can be concluded that general practitioners in Bengkalis Regency hold true to KODEKI values in JKN era. In additional to the answers of the informants, this result was supported by daily attitudes shown by the doctors towards society.Keywords : KODEKI values, JKN, Bengkalis Regency
