The professional behaviors is a vision of healthy Indonesian in improving the health services, therefore the medical-care need to improve their professional behaviors. The aim of this research was to describe the professional behaviors of the healthcare medical-care that assessed based on the six elements of professionalism. The success of the effort of the health services is not separated from the professional behaviors of the medical-care themselves. This research used exploration method with a qualitative approach in six community health center’s staff selected by Snowball sampling. The data were collected by using interviews and recorded with an audio recorder. The results showed that all informants contain altruism, accountability, duty, honor and integrity, respect for others and one of the six informants did not contain excellence. Based on the results of this research, the value of altruism, accountability, duty, honor and integrity, excellence, respect for others in Puskesmas Alai Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti staff can be seen from the statements and the attitude of the health workers everyday.Key word : professional behavior, health workers, altruism, accountability, duty, honor and integrity, excellence, respect for others

AbstrakAutopsi pada anak memiliki peranan penting guna mengetahui penyebab kematian tidak wajar pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kasus autopsi pada anak di Provinsi Riau periode tahun 2010-2014. Data diperoleh dari Visum et Repertum jenazah milik Biddokkes Polda Riau yang dianggap dapat mewakilkan gambaran se-Provinsi Riau. Hasil penelitian didapatkan angka autopsi pada anak di Provinsi Riau periode tahun 2010-2014 berjumlah 15 kasus. Karakteristik korban anak didominasi anak laki-laki (66,7%) berumur 0-5 tahun (46,7%). Didapatkan 5 kasus kekerasan tumpul, 3 kasus kekerasan tajam dan 7 kasus tidak dapat digolongkan jenis kekerasannya. Jenis luka akibat kekerasan tajam didominasi oleh luka sayat (66,7%) dengan lokasi luka tersering di leher (100%) sedangkan jenis luka akibat kekerasan tumpul didominasi oleh luka memar (60%) dengan lokasi luka tersering di kepala (80%). Seluruh kasus merupakan kematian tidak wajar dengan kasus terbanyak adalah dugaan pembunuhan (60%). Polsek Kabupaten Kampar merupakan asal polsek tersering (40%).AbstractAutopsy is an important procedure to detecting cause of death in child unnatural death cases. This study aims to describe the profile of child autopsy in Riau Province, Indonesia 2010-2014. Data was obtained from medicolegal autopsy reports that belongs to Riau Regional Police on Medicine and Health. Data is assumed could covered Riau Province child autopsy insidences. There were 15 child medicolegal autopsies recorded between 2010 and 2014 with boy (66,7%) aged 0 to 5 years old (46,7%) were dominant victims. Of the 15 child medicolegal autopsies, 5 cases were blunt force violence, 3 cases were sharp force violence, and 7 were uncategorized. Incised wound (66,7%) was lead type of wounds on sharp force violence which localized on neck (100%). Contusions (60%) was lead type of wounds on blunt force violence which often localized on head (80%). Our study highlights that homicide was the predominant manner of death (60%) and found that Kampar Regency was frequently requested for medicolegal autopsies reports.

Kaidah dasar bioetika dalam pengambilan keputusan klinis yang etis Dedi Afandi

Kaidah dasar bioetika adalah suatu karakteristik yang unik dari prinsip yang dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis lebih tajam suatu standar, untuk membenarkan peraturan dan dapat menjadi pedoman dalam pengambilan keputusan klinis yang etis dalam praktik sehari-hari. Tinjauan pustaka ini bertujuan untuk memberi suatu metode dalam proses pengambilan keputusan klinis yang etis bagi dokter. Untuk manfaat kemajuan sains, tinjauan ini telah mengembangkan pemanfaatan kaidah dasar bioetika di bidang medis, terutama hubungan dokter-pasien, profesionalisme serta bioetika medis. Beberapa metode pengambilan keputusan klinis yang etis dibahas dan didiskusikan. Dengan meningkatkan pemahaman dan pelatihan penggunaan kaidah dasar bioetika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari diharapkan akan mampu menjaga hubungan dokter-pasien secara lebih baik.

Physical violence cases in Pekanbaru, Indonesia: a 5 years retrospective study Dedi Afandi

Violence is a global public health problem. This study aims to identify the prevalence and patterns of injury among physical violence victims in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. Methods: A retrospective descriptive study was conducted at the Forensic Medical Service Center Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru. All medicolegal reports of physical violence victims from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2014 were studied for the prevalence of physical violence cases using basic data, such as sex, age, occupation, and forensic examination findings. Results: The average prevalence of sexual violence was 51.47/100,000 population/year. The total number of cases was 5,206, of which 75.7% were males. The 18-34-year-old age groups accounted for the highest proportion of cases for both genders. Bruises and abrasions were the most frequently found injuries (67.8% and 57.3%, respectively), with the head being the most common injury sites. The majority of victims had blunt and mild degree of injuries (85.6% and 83.8%, respectively). Conclusions: the prevalence of physical violence cases was high among study populated. Although most of the victims had non-fatal injury but physical violence can affect all age group and both genders.

The implementation of the Non-Communicable Disease Control Program carried out in Posbindu PTM is a concrete manifestation of community participation in implementing early detection, monitoring and early follow-up of Non-Communicable Disease risk factors independently and continuously. Rokan IV Koto I Community Health Center has implemented PTM control in an integrated manner but the scope of Non-Communicable Disease prevention and eradication efforts is still low at 53,9%. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the control program for non-communicable diseases in Posbindu PTM Rokan IV Koto I Community Health Center seen from input indicators and processes of the Non-Communicable Disease Control Program. This type of research is qualitative. 8 informants consisted of midwives midwives in charge of posbindu, mobilizing midwives, monitoring midwives, counselor doctors, recording cadres, Head of Sub-Division of Administration, community leaders, BPJS. The tringulation used is source tringulation, methods and data. The results of the study show that inputs (human resources, incentives, facilities and facilities) have been done well even though the use of Posbindu PTM facilities and equipment is not yet available in every village. The process (identification of potential PTM problems, implementation of activities and program innovations, recording and reporting, early risk follow-up and referral of PTM) has gone well. BASMI PELAKOR 1 innovation was able to increase the coverage of community visits to Posbindu PTM to 57,4% which previously had been in 2018 at 53,92%. Suggestion for Community Health Center to facilitate the formation of partnerships in each village through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to buy their own tools, deliberation with the community to determine the Posbindu PTM schedule that is mutually agreed upon, involve community participation in implementing BASMI PELAKOR. This research was conducted between February and April 2016 and is housed in RS PB. This study aims to analyze the medical solid waste minimization. The method used is survey method with qualitative descriptive research. Based on this research, medical solid waste minimization efforts that have been done of medical waste segregation, House keeping, preventive maintenance, and management of materials, while only limited efforts to use waste reuse (reuse). Recycling (recycle) and recovery (recovery) of medical waste has not done RS PB. Based on 2004 and 1204 Kepmenkes PP 18 jo 85, 1999, sorting and storage of medical waste is not eligible.

ABSTRACT Hospital laundry service is an important part of a hospital operation. Prelimenary survey conducted at Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province show thata lack of space.There are two sepate room washing room dan drying room and one room for ironing, pelipatan, distributing room. There are also too many broken laundry equipment. This study purposeis to analysis laundry management at Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province This study uses the deep interview, observation and document review methode with a qualitative approach and data validity of triangulation. There are six informant : laundry officer, Head of laundry, Head of medical instalation, Chief of monitoring and evaluation, Chief of Nurserry and vice director of medik and nursery at Arifin Achmad General Hospital of Riau Province . This studyresult show that there are many themes appear as the finding of the studyof laundry management. As for themes in the area of Human Resousches Quality. Less of training officer, less internal teknision, the provision of facilities and laundry equipmentProvision for supply of waterand the implemantation of the house in the form of disharging SOP, there are no wet for dirty linen, provision of identity not include the name of hospital, size an No, ID. Hepatitis B is still one of public health problems in the world including in Indonesia. The most vulnerable group to hepatitis B virus exposure is healthcare workers including clinical laboratory technicians. The best way to prevent hepatitis B infection is by getting vaccination. Therefore clinical laboratory technicians are among prioritized subject in getting hepatitis B vaccination. However, hepatitis B vaccination for healthcare workers is not an obligation yet. The purpose of this study was to determine the knowledge, attitude and practice of hepatitis B vaccination among clinical laboratory technicians at X Hospital of Riau Province. This descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out between October 2021 and January 2022. Overall, 38 clinical laboratory technicians were recruited for this study. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is used to determine the relationship between knowledge with attitudes and practice. The results showed that 52.6% of respondents had good knowledge, 57.9% had a positive attitude and 68.4% had not been vaccinated against hepatitis B. Based on the results of bivariate analysis, there was no relationship between knowledge and attitude (p>0.05) or practice (p>0.05). Although more than 50% of respondents had good knowledge and attitude, the low number of clinical laboratory technicians in getting the hepatitis B vaccine remains a particular concern.

Good indoor air quality is free from pollution which can cause irritation, discomfort and occupant health. One room that can be polluted is an inpatient room. to determine the value of air quality in an inpatient room in terms of physical quality. The method used is observation and measurement regarding temperature, humidity and dust of the hospital. The results showed the average temperature of the week in the inpatient room for VIP, class 1, 2, and 3 classes has exceeded the standard quality value. The average humidity of the week in the VIP class and class 1 does not exceed the value of quality standards, in grades 2 and 3 have exceeded the standard quality value. While the average dust per week only in the VIP class, 1 and 2 does not exceed the quality standard, but in class 3 has exceeded the standard quality value. The advice given to hospitals is to do Air Conditioner maintenance on a regular basis, monitoring temperature, humidity and dust in every room as well as routine room cleaning.

This studi examined the behavioral intention of sustainable waste management inelementary school student using the framework of Theory of Planned Behavior. The objectiveof this study was to know the relationship of knowledge, attitude, and the behavioral intentionof sustainable waste management. Population and sample in this study were elementaryschool students in the Padang City, West Sumatra. The data collected for this study wereanalyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study stated that theknowledge about sustainable waste management has a significant relationship with attitudestowards sustainable waste management. Knowledge and attitudes towards sustainable wastemanagement had a significant association with the behavioral intention of sustainable wastemanagement. These findings have important implications for the school as well as for policymakers.
