Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model on students' reasoning ability in science subjects in class V SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong. Using a quantitative approach, this type of research is a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong, with a total of 22 students. The sample in this study is to use saturated samples because the number of students is less than 30, with a total of 22 students. Primary data is in students' pretest and posttest reasoning ability test results and secondary data is in photo documentation. Data collection is done by giving reasoning ability tests to students. The collected data were analyzed using hypothesis testing using the paired t-test formula. The results of hypothesis testing using paired t-tests stated that the results of the significance value of 0.066, which means > 0.05, so that Ha is accepted, and H0 is rejected. There is an effect of using the guided inquiry learning model on the reasoning ability of elementary school students in learning science.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and how much influence the learning model had on predicting learning explaining face-to-face learning on understanding science concepts. This research method uses quantitative experiments with the type of research Quasi Experimental Design and the form design used is nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that to test the hypothesis and answer the problem formulation, the data analysis techniques used were the Independent Sample T Test and the N-Gain test. This can be seen from the average value when given treatment using the POE learning model in the Post-test to get an average value of 76.49 for the experimental class and 61.36 for the control class. From the results of the Independent Samples T Test post-test scores for the experimental class and the control class, namely 2.721 > 1.67 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted indicating that there is an influence and the results of N-Gain experimental class given the POE model there is a big influence so that it can be used as a learning model during the learning. The conclusion in this study is that the POE learning model in face-to-face learning has a positive and significant influence on the understanding of science concepts for fourth grade elementary school students so that it can be used as a solution in science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The challenge faced by teachers today is the lack of skills in developing technology-based media. In facing the demands of an increasingly developing curriculum, teachers need to be given reinforcement in the development of professionalism, including in making digital-based media. Based on the problem, MI Muhammadiyah 2 Kedungbanteng is a school that deserves instructional media training. The obstacles faced include the absence of assistance to develop technology-based media so that the digital literacy of teachers is still low, the absence of school literacy activities through teacher-made media, and the lack of activities that can hone creativity to optimize vocabulary learning. This service wants to make a meaningful contribution to teachers with training activities in developing Canva application-based big book media. The activity is carried out through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stage. In the preparatory stage, the team collected initial information about conditions in school that could support the development of teacher competencies as well as implementation schedules and monitoring and evaluation. Furthermore, at the implementation stage, activities are carried out through material presentation, discussion, and independent assignments. For the monitoring and evaluation stage, the teachers conducted learning using the resulting big book and the community service team observed learning in class. This service was successfully carried out according to plan and made several contributions to strengthening understanding of the material and skills in designing and implementing Canva-based big book. The teachers stated that they were satisfied with this training and hoped to create other media creations in the next training.

Abstract

Pendidik merupakan salah satu elemen penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidik dituntut untuk profesional dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pengajar, keterampilan merancang pembelajaran adalah salah satu kemampuan pembentuk kompetensi pedagogis seorang pendidik. Kegiatan merancang dan mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh pendidik merujuk kepada desain pembelajaran yang mengandung pengertian membuat pola atau rancangan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan desain pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PJOK di SMPIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, desain pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PJOK di SMPIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin sudah berjalan dengan baik, model yang digunakan adalah model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi, ceramah, dan praktik. Pendekatan yang dilakukan bersifat indvidu dan kelompok. Evaluasi yang dilakukan guru juga sudah dengan baik dilakukan yakni penilaian yang dilakukan pada aspek psikomotorik, kognitif, dan afektif peserta didik.

Abstract

Science, Technology/Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and 21st Century Skills are crucial to be implemented for all students starting from an early age, specifically at the elementary school level. This study aims to describe students' attitudes towards STEM and 21st Century Skills in terms of gender at the elementary school level. This research is a quantitative survey using a Cross-Sectional approach, which can explain and compare the results of questionnaires given to students. Student attitudes are explained based on STEM domains and 21st Century Skills, considering gender. The research respondents were 37 elementary school students at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo. The results of this study show that in the Science domain, the average score of students is 3.45 (medium), in the Mathematics domain, the average score is 2.97 (low), in the Technology/Engineering domain, the average score is 3.76 (medium), and in the 21st Century Skills domain, the average score is 3.91 (medium). Additionally, there is a significant difference between the attitudes of male and female students towards STEM and 21st Century Skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry model on learning outcomes of fourth grade students of MI Nurul Falah Karangpuri. This research includes pre-experimental design with one group pretest and postest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of MI Nurul Falah Karangpuri, totaling 20 students. The data collection technique in this study used a multiple choice test instrument totaling 25 items. Based on the results of research conducted at MI Nurul Falah Karangpuri, it was found that the average student learning outcomes during the pretest in class IV were 65, while the student learning outcomes during the posttest were 78. As evidenced by the t test results of 11.376 with a significance value of 5%, it is concluded that there is an effect of the guided inquiry learning model because t count is greater than t table, namely 11.376> 2.093 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, the Guided Inquiry Model affects the learning outcomes of grade IV students at MI Nurul Falah Karangpuri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh model project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Karangbong. Penelitian ini merupakan penenlitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre- Ekperimental. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest – postets design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Karangbong . Sampel yang digunakana dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh . Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal uraian kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t. Dari hasil perhitungan uji – t diperoleh nilai t hitung sig.(2- tailed)signifikan sebesar 0,00 <0,05. Artinya, Ada perbedaan yang signifikan dari kondisi siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Untuk mengetahui perbedaanmya, dengan hasil Mean Posttest 80,92 lebih besar dari Mean Pretest yaitu 63,4. Karena Mean Postest lebih besar, dapat dikatakan bahwa penggunaan model project based learning dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh kemmapuan berpikir kreatif siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan pemebelajaran menggunakan model Project Based Learning.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to (1) provide knowledge and understanding of elementary school teachers about the Quizizzapplication (2) provide training to elementary school teachers in making assessments using the Quizizzapplication and implementing learning using google meetings, (3) providing training on the Quizizzapplication for students to elementary school teachers. In training the delivery of material and practice using an andragogy approach. Participants consisted of teachers at SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong totaling 14 people. The delivery of material and practice in this training is carried out through workshop activities. The workshop was held in two meetings, the first was the delivery of the Quizizzapplication in general. The second is the practice of creating an account for teachers, setting language, creating quizzes and materials, how to do quizzes, how to give homework and Quizizz's interaction with google meetings. And how to create accounts for students, how students join classes, and how students take quizzes. With this training, the understanding and knowledge of teachers has increased as evidenced by the evaluation results. Teachers have been able to create quizzes and implement them in learning by using google meetings, and teachers understand how to apply Quizizzfor students.

Abstract

The implementation of SIMRS supports the smooth running of all activities at X Hospital, Demak Regency. There were several complaints that officers felt regarding network disturbances that occurred as a result of interfering with officer performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the success rate of SIMRS at x Hospital, Demak Regency through SIMRS evaluation using the HOT-FIT model. This research method is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to all medical record installation staff as respondents according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study obtained 38 respondents from the Medical Record Installation of Hospital, Demak Regency. The data is processed using Microsoft Excel. The results of the study stated that in the Human component officers were satisfied with system performance (77.6%) in terms of system use and user satisfaction, SIMRS had important information that made it easier for officers to provide services to patients. From an organizational point of view, the system can integrate one sub-section with another (76.2%), as evidenced by the ease with which officers obtain the necessary patient data. And in the Technology component, SIMRS applies an information technology strategy in its development (76.7%) so that there is guaranteed protection in the management of systems that support the needs of up to date patient information.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify and map the development of the variants of Islamic Educational Institutions in Yogyakarta and analyze the map of the ideological affiliation of Islamic educational institutions. This type of research is field research. Data collection techniques are carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity test used the source triangulation technique. The process of data analysis is data reduction, transcription, coding, grouping, comparing and contrasting, interpreting, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that Islamic Educational Institutions in Indonesia has developed and changed very rapidly. These changes and developments influence the variants and ideology of Islamic Educational Institutions in Yogyakarta. The shift in the variants of Islamic Educational Institutions in Yogyakarta can be mapped into four variants, i.e., the Religious Movement Variant, the Political Dakwah Variant, the Business Variant, and the Corporate Variant. Further, the ideological affiliations of Islamic educational institutions in Yogyakarta can be mapped into four, Compromising Ideology, Aswaja-Traditionalist, Modernist-Reformist, and Revivalist.
