Abstract

Character building in the educational process is the main aspect that must be done before building intelligence. Students are expected to master etiquette before learning about science. Armed with the character of students, they will be wiser in practicing the knowledge they have in the future. There are various ways to internalize character values ??in students, one of which is through school culture. The role of school culture is very large in shaping the character values ??of students. Therefore, the mainstreaming of school culture development in strengthening character values ??needs to be investigated. In this study, it will be described how mainstream school culture is a reinforcement of student character values. The purpose of this study is to find out how the strategies that schools can do in mainstream school culture as reinforcement of character values. The research was conducted using the library method. Sources of data in this study are the results of previous studies that have been published in scientific journals, seminars, and books. Various sources of data that have been collected are then analyzed to find answers to the research objectives. The results of the literature study found that mainstreaming school culture development can be done in various ways, including forming good habits, and exemplary and strengthening character

Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy and effects of Kolb's experiential learning (EL) model and students' scientific field groups on their innovativeness in business development. (1) Humanities and Social Science, and (2) Science and Technology are the scientific field groups. A quasi-experimental quantitative approach with a 2 x 2 factorial design was used in this study. This study's sample encompassed active Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the University of Mataram enrolling for entrepreneurship courses which were taken using random sampling after commensuration processes. The data collection instrument used to collect data on students' innovativeness is a project-based assessment based on indicators of innovativeness in developing products and digital marketing. The results of the instrument test fulfilled the validity and reliability requirement. All data were analyzed statistically by descriptive statistics and comparative analysis using the ANOVA test, which was preceded by an analysis requirement test. The study results showed an interaction effect of the EL model and students' scientific field on students' innovativeness. In addition, Kolb's EL model also directly affects students' innovativeness, while the scientific field group does not. Nevertheless, the data showed that the Science and Technology group innovates better than the others. The theoretical implication of this study was that EL has a strong theoretical framework for entrepreneurial learning, so it needs to be expanded through further studies.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to provide reinforcement in learning local content of arts and culture based on the local genius of Sasak culture and to improve cultural literacy in learning local content. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Sources of data in this study were students of PGSD University of Mataram and lecturers of local content subjects. Data collection in research has been carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques used in this study include an extension of observations, increasing persistence, triangulation, holding member checks. Data analysis used the Milles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation/data display, and conclusion verification. The results of the study concluded that the strengthening of local cultural content learning based on the local genius of Sasak culture was carried out through providing an understanding of the meaning of a culture, not just a concept, besides implementing the value of local wisdom in learning activities, then providing a comprehensive understanding by presenting learning videos from the cultural practitioner. Furthermore, related to cultural literacy in local content learning is carried out through inserting in the learning of research results related to material that can foster curiosity from students, and students go directly to finding information about culture to the main source.

Abstract

Sociology is one of the subjects taught at the high school level which currently uses the 2013 curriculum, in implementing the 2013 curriculum a model and a media are needed whose learning is student-centered so that students are required to be active and innovative in learning, but in the implementation of the national curriculum in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 2 SELONG students are still fine it is difficult to play an active role in learning so that student learning outcomes are low, this is because the learning models and media used are still traditional. Low student learning outcomes are the background for this research. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 2 SELONG. This research was conducted in 2 cycles as a class action research project. The data in this study were collected by observing, reflecting, learning achievement tests, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the percentage of learning implementation was 66.6% and the percentage of student learning outcomes was 66.6% in chicle I, then there was an increase after the implementation of cycle II with the percentage of learning implementation being 90.4% and the percentage of student learning outcomes being 84.8%.

Abstract

Sosiologi sebagai salah satu mata pelajaran yang dibelajarkan pada jenjang pendidikan SMA menunjukkan potensi pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal. Namun demikian, guru Sosiologi di SMAN 1 Pemenang Lombok Utara belum mengembangkan media pembelajaran sosiologi berbasis kearifan lokal, padahal KD matapelajaran tersebut menunjukkan potensi untuk itu. KD dimaksud antara lain KD 3. 4 kelas XII; “Menerapkan strategi pemberdayaan komunitas dengan mengedepankan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal di tengah-tengah pengaruh globalisasi”. Untuk membantu siswa mencapai KD tersebut, maka kearifan menjadi sangat penting dan menarik dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk mengkontekstualkan materi agar lebih mudah dipahami serta menarik. Oleh karenai itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini sangat penting dilakukan dengan tujuan agar guru Sosiologi di SMAN 1 Pemenang dapat menyusun media pembelajaran Sosiologi berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Sosiologi. Target luaran kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: (1) Publikasi pada artikel ilmiah yang dimuat dalam jurnal nasional ber-ISSN, dan (2) Pernyataan pemanfaatan hasil pengabdian oleh mitra. Metode yang diguanakan adalah pendampingan dengan tahapan kegiatan: (1) penyampaian materi dan diskusi (2) pendampingan, (3) evaluasi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian telah mencapai hasil sebagaimana diharapkan, yaitu dapat dikembangkannya media pembelajaran sosiologi berbasis kearifan lokal, berupa media visual, yaitu gambar tentang komunitas dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Lombok Utara dan kartu soal. Selain itu juga dikembangkan media audio visual berupa vidio tentang komunitas dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Lombok Utara.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the innovation ability of sociology teachers in teaching and learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in Central Lombok Regency in terms of school location and current conditions in Central Lombok Regency. This study uses quantitative methods to conduct survey research. All 50 sociology teachers who participated in this study constituted the study population. The proportionate random sampling method was applied in this investigation. All sociology teachers who have fulfilled the research requirements required by using SPSS version 26'for windows were given a questionnaire as a research instrument. Data collection techniques involving surveys and documentation. Using data analysis methods, especially comparative analysis, to test hypotheses. These findings demonstrate the innovation ability of sociology teachers to innovate during the Covid-19 outbreak, with an average school location (suburb, city, remote) and the status of public and private schools. Therefore, it can be said that the findings of this study indicate that sociology teachers in Central Lombok Regency lack the innovation abilities of sociology teachers during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out whether the AIR (Auditory Intellectual Repetition) mode1 assisted by poster media has an influence or not on sociology learning outcomes. Every student who is in class XI-IPS at SMAN 01 Wanasaba becomes the population in this study. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique after class adjustment. The quasi-experimental type was used in this research method with a posttest only with nonequivalent control group design by utilizing two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class and giving a posttest without a pretest. The data collection method uses multiple choice objective tests that have been tested for validity, item difficulty level, reliability, effectiveness of the distractor and discriminating power. Two Independent Sample T test is used to analyze research data quantitatively. Based on the parametric test, it is evident that the poster-assisted AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) model has an effect on sociology learning outcomes. Theoretically, this means that the use of the AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) model will help strengthen learning theories, especially those based on constructivism and cognitivism

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi saat ini mendorong guru dan dunia pendidikan untuk menyesuaikan serta menciptakan model pembelajaran baru berbasis teknologi. Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi merupakan hal penting agar pembelajaran tidak terlalu monoton dan memiliki variasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari apakah model pembelajaran AIR yang menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Quizizz dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 7 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experiment dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berbentuk pilihan ganda yang sudah terpenuhi syarat pengujian instrumen. Data penelitian di analisis secara kuantitatif berupa analisis deskriptif dan parametrik dengan bantuan SPSS 17 for windows karena memenuhi persyaratan analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model AIR berbantuan aplikasi Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 7 Mataram dengan nilai signifikansi 0.00 < 0.05 (5%). Adapun hasil uji N-Gain score membuktikan nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai kelas kontrol secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini mengindikasi bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran AIR yang didukung oleh aplikasi Quizizz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMAN 7 Mataram. Sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran AIR dengan pendekatan auditory, intellectually, repetition berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa, sementara aplikasi Quizizz memberikan dukungan interaktif dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study examines the success of students' moral strengthening strategies through school culture. In examining the problem, this research uses a descriptive method. This research was conducted in Cakranegara Mataram 4 elementary school by studying and examining using observation method, interview, and documentation. Some of the findings obtained from the research show that the strategy of strengthening students' morale is implemented in some aspects: first on the vision and mission of the school where the school arranges the vision and mission and goals of the school which implies the value of faith, piety and religious, in order to strengthen student morale. Secondly, on activities, both activities within the school environment and activities outside the school environment relating to religious activities in order to increase religious value. The third is the application of teacher modeling which aims to provide good moral examples for students so the students can learn from existing models, that is, the teacher. Fourth, school facilities and infrastructure. Fifth, school rules are arranged based on the school's vision, mission, and goals. The results showed that the strategy successfully strengthened students' morale. However, there are still some obstacles found, such as the number of students who are not balanced with the number of classes and the number of less ideal teachers, the lack of maximum utilization of existing facilities, the lack of commitment of school residents, especially the lack of cooperation of parents in efforts to strengthen student morale.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi pengaruh paradigma open ended problems yang didukung media Big Book terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada siswa kelas XI-IPS di SMAN 3 Mataram. Alat perolehan data menggunakan teknik pengujian deskriptif dan memenuhi kriteria validasi dan reliabilitas. Setelah selesainya uji prasyarat analisis yang diperlukan, keseluruhan data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan ujikooperatif. Uji normalitas menggunakan rumus Kolmogorov-Smirnov untuk menghitung data hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan taraf signifikansi 5% (0,05). Setelah dianalisis, ditentukan bahwa data menunjukkan distribusi normal. Selanjutnya, teknik statistik Levene digunakan untuk menilai homogenitas kumpulan data, dan ditentukan untuk menunjukkan homogenitas. Setelah terbukti bahwa data mengikuti distribusi normal dan menunjukkan homogenitas, uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan perhitungan data post-test siswa dan dilakukan uji-t. Hasil uji t menghasilkan nilai signifikansi (Sig.2) sebesar 0,000, < 0,05. Disimpulkan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Pemanfaatan open ended problems yang didukung dengan integrasi media Big Book terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.
