Abstract

Overview: Low Birth Weight (LBW) is a significant health problem in Indonesia because it is at risk of increasing neonatal mortality and morbidity. Objective: This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of LBW in newborns at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Research Method: The method used is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 200 mothers and babies was obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected from medical records and analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. Research Results: showed that prematurity had a partial effect on LBW with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, and showed that if the incidence of prematurity increased by one percent, assuming the value of other variables remained constant, it would increase the incidence of LBW by 2.769 percent. Variables parity, maternal age, anemia, twin pregnancy, hydramnios, PEB, Placenta Previa, KPD, prematurity, fetal pregnancy simultaneously affected LBW. Conclusion: parity, maternal age, anemia, twin pregnancy, hydramnios, PEB, Placenta Previa, KPD, prematurity, fetal pregnancy simultaneously affect LBW.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance with incentives as an intervening variable on employees of Bank BTN Jambi Branch Office. The method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis with a sample of 50 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert Scale-based questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload has a positive and significant effect on incentives, incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and incentives are able to mediate the effect of workload on employee performance.

Abstract

Overview: Normal Hemoglobin levels during pregnancy are very important in preventing anemia and complications that can occur during pregnancy. Moringa capsules contain iron, vitamin C, and antioxidants that can support the absorption of iron in the body, Fe tablets that support oxygen transport and the formation of red blood cells. Objective: Analyzing the effect of giving moringa leaf capsules and iron tablets on hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Research Method: This study used a Quasi-experimental design method. This study was conducted in the Ambal II Kebumen Health Center Working Area with a sample of 30 respondents. In this study, 2 groups were used, namely those who received intervention (moringa leaf capsules and Fe tablets) and the control group (Fe only). Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Research Results: Showed that there was a difference in Hemoglobin levels in the Moringa leaf and Fe groups with a p value = 0.008 and as many as 14 pregnant women experienced an increase in Hb. While in the control group the analysis results showed a difference with a p value = 0.007. However, as many as 13 mothers experienced a decrease in Hb levels. Conclusion: giving moringa capsules and Fe tablets has better effectiveness in increasing Hb levels compared to just Fe tablets alone.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the application of digital marketing is the main key in increasing the sales volume of various products, including ornamental corals. This research aims to find out how CV Rezky Bahari Makassar applies digital marketing to increase sales of ornamental corals. Through a qualitative approach of exploratory case study type, data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. data analysis methods using descriptive qualitative. The results showed that CV. Rezky Bahari Makassar has implemented various digital marketing strategies, including social media marketing, such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Website and Email Marketing, Integrated digital marketing strategies focus on attractive visual content, technological innovations such as 360-degree videos and direct interaction with customers to increase the visibility and accessibility of its products to consumers. The implementation of this strategy resulted in a significant increase in sales of ornamental corals. Despite facing challenges such as a decline in revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the company managed to return to a positive growth path through digital marketing strategies, with sales revenue reaching its highest peak in 2023. This research provides insights into effective digital marketing practices in the ornamental coral industry and suggests that the integration of various digital channels can result in increased sales.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of the work environment on employee performance through intrinsic motivation as an intervening variable on employees of LPP RRI (Radio Republik Indonesia) Jambi City. The method used is quantitative analysis with a population and sample of all employees totaling 74 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert scale-based questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3 software. The results of the study indicate that: 1) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 2) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on intrinsic motivation, 3) intrinsic motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, 4) intrinsic motivation as an intervening variable is able to mediate the influence of the work environment on employee performance positively and significantly.

Abstract

The nutritional problems faced in Indonesia today remain the same, namely that many children suffer from malnutrition. The national movement to increase breastfeeding is one of the government's efforts to improve the health status of mothers and children. However, the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding has not been achieved, one of the reasons is the breastfeeding factor. Meanwhile, the point in the success of providing exclusive breastfeeding and continuing it for up to 2 years is related to a mother's understanding of lactation management. So this service activity is carried out to teach mothers who are young pregnant, late pregnant and have just given birth to a 1 month old baby to participate so that their knowledge increases. The method in this activity is a pre-test before providing information related to breastfeeding and lactation management, then continuing with the post-test to see the success of the activity. The mothers' enthusiasm was seen to be very high and resulted in a strong determination to be able to provide exclusive breast milk to their babies. The success rate of this activity was 80%, judged from the responses and questions from the participants

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and investigate employee compensation and performance initiatives in Immigrant Class I Jambi. The analysis methods used here are quantitative analysis methods, observation, questionnaire, and documentation data collection techniques. In this study, the total population and sample of employees at Jambi Immigration Office was 81 people. This study uses a saturation sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study included descriptive range analysis and multiple linear analysis using SPSS 21 software, and the results of the statistical analysis showed that compensation (X1) has a positive significance on employee performance. It shows that it has a significant impact. Personal commitment (X2) has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. At the same time, rewards and engagement have a positive impact on employee performance. Therefore, the results of this study show that improving employee performance is closely linked to rewards (direct and indirect rewards) and commitment, especially the highly compensated work itself (affective commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitment). We can conclude that they are related. It becomes easier to improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of organizational support, work environment, and communication on employee performance at the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPM-PTSP) of Muaro Jambi Regency, both partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative analysis with a population and sample consisting of all 44 employees, determined through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale-based questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study showed that (1) organizational support has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (3) communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and (4) organizational support, work environment, and communication simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The recommendations/suggestions from this research are expected to improve employee performance by enhancing organizational support through fair task distribution, reward programs, and development opportunities; creating a comfortable and well- equipped work environment that encourages productivity; and strengthening effective communication between superiors and subordinates as well as among employees through regular meetings and discussion forums.

Abstract

Employee performance in organizations is an essential aspect of managing human resources. Therefore, special attention is needed so that they are able to contribute to organizational success. This study aims to describe and determine the description and effect of organizational commitment on employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at the Jambi Province Maritime and Fisheries Service. The analysis method used is quantitative analysis using a Likert scale. The research population was all employees of the Jambi Provincial Maritime and Fisheries Service totaling 147 people. The number of samples in this study amounted to 60 people. Data collection techniques through questionnaires submitted to respondents. The data is processed using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results showed that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work discipline mediates the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding for six months is crucial for infant growth, development, and health. However, in various regions, breastfeeding mothers still experience obstacles in breast milk production, resulting in suboptimal exclusive breastfeeding. One intervention that can be implemented to increase breast milk production is Oketani massage, a breast massage technique that stimulates the hormones prolactin and oxytocin. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of Oketani massage on breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers in the Kassi-Kassi Community Health Center. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest approach for the experimental and control groups. A sample of 28 respondents was divided into two groups (14 respondents with Oketani massage and 14 respondents without massage). Data were collected through observations of breast milk volume before and after the intervention, then analyzed using a t-test. Results: The results showed a significant difference in breast milk production before and after Oketani massage (p = 0.001). Average breast milk production increased in the group receiving Oketani massage compared to the control group. Conclusion: The study concluded that Oketani massage has a positive effect on increasing breast milk production in breastfeeding mothers. Healthcare workers are advised to teach and practice Oketani massage as a way to improve the success of exclusive breastfeeding.
