Abstract

A fundamental component of human resources is the capacity to facilitate corporate objectives and determine whether enhanced competencies might elevate performance. Organizational commitment is crucial as it reflects the allegiance of medical workers to their institution. High devotion among medical workers will result in optimal performance. This research aims to ascertain the impact of work ability on the performance of medical personnel, with organizational commitment serving as an intervening variable at the Kenali Besar Community Health Center. The research methodology employs quantitative descriptive analysis. This research demonstrates that work ability has a favorable and significant impact on the performance of medical personnel. The capacity for work exerts a favorable and substantial impact on organizational commitment. Organizational commitment positively and significantly affects the performance of medical personnel. Work ability exerts a positive and considerable impact on the performance of medical personnel, with organizational commitment serving as an intervening element.

Abstract

Pregnancy anemia is a medical condition that occurs when a pregnant woman experiences a lack of red blood cells or hemoglobin in her blood during pregnancy. Hemoglobin is a protein in red blood cells that is responsible for transporting oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body and returning carbon dioxide to the lungs to be released. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, age, education and nutritional status with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in Soppeng district in 2024. The study design used Cross Sectional. Pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital were 50 people. Based on the results of the Chi-square statistical test, the p Value = 0.273> α = 0.05 was obtained, so H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital, Soppeng Regency. Based on the results of the Fisher's Exact Test statistical test, the p Value = 1,000 > α = 0.05 was obtained, so H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected, thus it can be concluded that there is no relationship between age and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at La Temmamala Hospital, Soppeng Regency. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance through work discipline as an intervention variable for honorary employees of the Jambi Province DPRD Secretariat. The analytical method used here is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The population and sample are honorary employees of the Jambi Province DPRD Secretariat with a sample size of 69 employees. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale. The statistical analysis used is using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique, with Partial Least Square (PLS) as a creation tool using the SmartPLS program. The results of this research show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a positive and significant effect on work discipline, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance mediated by work discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at Tokopedia Shunyang Marine Fish at PT. Indotama Putra Wahana, Bekasi. The sample used was 30 Tokopedia Shunyang Marine Fish customers who made purchases. The sampling technique in this research used accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analytical method used in this research is a simple regression analysis method with the SPSS 26 application. The research results based on (t test) show that service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The results of the Coefficient of Determination test obtained an R Square of 0.980. This shows that the dependent variable customer satisfaction is 98.0% influenced by the independent variable service quality, while 2.0% is influenced by other variables that have not been examined in this research.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain are cramps in the lower abdomen which sometimes spread to the lower back and thighs, generally complained by some women before menstruation which can last 2-3 days. One of the problems that teenagers often experience during menstruation is menstrual pain. Dysminorrhea can be treated by administering pharmacological therapy with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and non-pharmacological therapy with acupressure techniques. administering Zusanli point acupressure (ST36) is effective in reducing dysmenorrhea in adolescents. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of administering Zusanli point (ST36) acupressure on menstrual pain among female adolescents at Tahfidh Al HIdayah Middle School. Method: The research used was quasi-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The sample in this study was 30 young women who were experiencing dysmenorrhea on the first day of menstruation at Tahfidh Al Hidayah Middle School. Results: The average pain scale for menstrual pain/dysminorrhea before the acupressure intervention at the Zusanli point or ST36 point was 8.83, while the average pain scale for menstrual pain/dysminorrhea after the intervention was 3.433. There is a significant effect of acupressure therapy at the Zusanli point (ST 36) on menstrual pain/dysminorrhea in young women with a value of p: 0.000 (p<0.005) with a strong correlation level (0.818). Conclusion: There is a strong correlation of acupressure therapy at the Zusanli point (ST 36) on menstrual pain/dysminorrhea in young women. Suggestion: There is a need to increase knowledge and education on the management of dysmenorrhea using non-pharmacological methods, namely acupressure at the Zusanli point (ST36) to reduce complaints of menstrual pain/dysmenorrhea in young women.

Abstract

The agency's success can be gauged by the caliber of its workforce. Employee development is a pivotal aspect of human resources, serving as a crucial tool for honing abilities and skills to enhance employee performance. Moreover, work discipline stands out as a pivotal factor influencing employee performance, especially within governmental contexts which demand high standards. This study aims to ascertain the impact of employee development on employee performance, with work discipline serving as an intervening variable in the Jambi City Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR) Office. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method. Findings reveal a significant positive correlation between employee development and employee performance. Additionally, employee development significantly enhances work discipline, which in turn positively impacts employee performance. Furthermore, employee development significantly enhances employee performance through the intermediary of work discipline.

Abstract

Background: Se’I culture is a series of activities aimed to take care of mother during puerperium that consisted of abstain from certain foods, warming of mothers and Tatobi (compress) within 40 days. Mother during lactation period belong to age group that are susceptible to lack of nutrition because while breastfeeding the baby, they are undergoing recovery, menstruation and fulfilling their physical needs. Besides, during breastfeeding mother loose micro and macro nutrients such as zinc and calcium exerted throug breast milk. Abstain from food, either in types, amount or frequency, will bring negative impact to the fulfillment of mother during parturition period.Objective: the study aimed to get an overview of the nutrient fulfillment of mother during puerperium in relation to the implementation of Se’I culture among Timor tribe.Method: the study was qualitative that used phenomenological approach with mother during puerperium period of Timor tribe as subject of the study. Data were obtained through indepth interview, observation and food recall 24 hours. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman Model. Result: care that was carried out during the implementation of Se’I culture aimed to support the process of recovery and maintain the physical condition as it was before pregnancy. The fulfillment of nutrients of mother during the practice of Se’I did not meet nutrition sufficiency as recommended.Conclution: intake of nutrition of mothers during the practice of Se’I did not fulfill the need for nutrition and consume other foods that contained equal amount of nutrients when mothers were abstain from certain types of foods.

Abstract

Human resources are a vital component in ensuring the sustainability of a company. However, ineffective management may trigger employees’ intention to leave the organization. This study aimed to analyze the influence of career development, work-life balance, and job satisfaction on turnover intention among employees of Hotel Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Resort & Golf. A quantitative method was utilized, specifically applying multiple linear regression for the analysis. Information was gathered via surveys administered to 62 participants, who were chosen through a basic random selection method. The findings reveal that career development, work-life balance, and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on turnover intention. Partially, each of these three variables has a negative influence on turnover intention.

Abstract

Overview: Low Birth Weight (LBW) is a significant health problem in Indonesia because it is at risk of increasing neonatal mortality and morbidity. Objective: This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with the incidence of LBW in newborns at Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Hospital. Research Method: The method used is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. A sample of 200 mothers and babies was obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected from medical records and analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. Research Results: showed that prematurity had a partial effect on LBW with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, and showed that if the incidence of prematurity increased by one percent, assuming the value of other variables remained constant, it would increase the incidence of LBW by 2.769 percent. Variables parity, maternal age, anemia, twin pregnancy, hydramnios, PEB, Placenta Previa, KPD, prematurity, fetal pregnancy simultaneously affected LBW. Conclusion: parity, maternal age, anemia, twin pregnancy, hydramnios, PEB, Placenta Previa, KPD, prematurity, fetal pregnancy simultaneously affect LBW.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of workload on employee performance with incentives as an intervening variable on employees of Bank BTN Jambi Branch Office. The method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis with a sample of 50 respondents. Data were collected using a Likert Scale-based questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) technique with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload has a positive and significant effect on incentives, incentives have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and incentives are able to mediate the effect of workload on employee performance.
