Abstract

Immunization via injection can cause immediate pain in children. Pain that occurs as a result of immunization injections, if not managed properly, can have a negative impact on the child's emotional aspects such as crying and fear. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. The sample involved in this research was 64 respondents, selected using Probability Sampling techniques. The research results show that based on the Paired T-Test statistical test, the p-Value value for the influence of the 5S Method (Swaddling, Side-Stomach, Shushing, Swinging, Sucking) is 0.000. Because p < 0.05, the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the Null Hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the 5S Method (Swaddling, Side-Stomach, Shushing, Swinging, Sucking) has a significant influence on the Infant's Pain Response After Basic Immunization at the Dahlia Makassar Community Health Center. The suggestion is that the 5s method be an alternative for treating pain experienced by babies as an effort to minimize pharmacological therapy.

Abstract

Pregnant women need nutrition to stay healthy. This is done by increasing and varying the food consumed, but do not increase the portion size and also limit the diet because it can harm the fetus in the womb. Chronic Energy Deficiency is a condition where a pregnant woman experiences a lack of food for a long period of time (chronic or chronic), giving rise to health problems such as being unable to meet the increased nutritional needs during pregnancy. Pregnant women who suffer from CED have a higher risk of giving birth with lower birth weight (LBW) than pregnant women without CED. The aim of this activity is to increase respondents' knowledge regarding how to prevent and treat CED. Socialization methods in the form of lectures and questions and answers are used in this activity using leaflets as media. Activity Results: Respondents were very enthusiastic about the material presented and there were several respondents who asked questions. The conclusion of this educational activity was successfully carried out to increase knowledge and awareness of pregnant women about the importance of preventing and treating Chronic Energy Deficiency Disorders (CED).

Abstract

The "Kitab Demonstration" strategy, used as the final evaluation of the entire learning process at Jam'iyah Ta'miq al-Kutub, is important to study because its process is engaging, offers numerous benefits, and generally increases the students' interest in maintaining the typical characteristic of Islamic boarding school students, which is the ability and habit of reading classical texts or Islamic classical books. The research data is sourced from interviews with participants of the Kitab institution, observations, and documentation. In addition, data is also gathered from internet sites and institutional documents. The data collection instruments include interview documents, observation guidelines, and documentation. The data analysis uses qualitative descriptive techniques to describe and reveal the original facts in the field. This study aims to identify the benefits of the "Kitab Demonstration" and to show how this strategy contributes to promoting the students of the Lubangsa Putri Annuqayah Islamic boarding school, under the Jam'iyah Ta'miq Al-Kutub institution, towards national and international recognition in Kitab reading skills. The research results indicate that the Kitab demonstration provides benefits for the students not only in terms of cognitive skills but also in psychological aspects. Furthermore, the contribution of Lubangsa Putri students in elevating the institution’s name on the international stage has been evident over the past ten years since the implementation of the "Kitab Demonstration."
