Abstract

The evaluation of the "SIMPUS" software in Semarang City is motivated by the existence of a dental medical record information system within the “SIMPUS” application. However, some menus are not yet aligned with the required standards. In addition, there is a new discourse on the use of dental data as a means of human identification in disaster events. The aim of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of a standardized dental medical record information system, as well as to establish and test a system capable of supporting decision-making in human identification. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method to evaluate the use of the “SIMPUS” software in Semarang City. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The research subjects were dental therapists and dentists at community health centers (puskesmas) within the jurisdiction of the Semarang City Health Office. Data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the “SIMPUS” software in Semarang City is user-friendly as a Dental Medical Record Information System, although some codes occasionally do not appear. The system is comprehensive, and the data output matches the input provided. However, the feature for human identification using dental charts is not yet available, and there is no display of individual baseline data related to odontogram codes. The “SIMPUS” software in Semarang City is accepted by users as a Dental Medical Record Information System that meets national dental record standards. It can be used by community health centers to manage patient registration data, medical records, and generate monthly disease reports (LB1) and dental treatment reports. However, patient search features based on odontogram codes are not yet available, and further research is needed.

Abstract

Abstract

The issue of the air quality index and its impact on health, specifically human respiratory continues to be a global concern. Recent studies indicate that respiratory diseases are linked to the inflammation caused by air pollutants. The aim of this study was to review the correlation between air quality measurements and factors contributing to the rise in acute nasopharyngitis and other respiratory disorders. This study was a systematic literature review of English language articles published in peer-reviewed academic journals between January 1, 2018, and April 30, 2023. This study found that twelve eligible papers from five reputable electronic databases: PubMed, Springer, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and Google Scholar were eligible included. Severe respiratory illnesses are caused by factors such as Particulate Matter (PM), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), and air temperature. While all studies showed a direct association between these factors and respiratory diseases, the inconsistent association between O3 and AQI with respiratory disease may be attributed to differences in sample size and geographic settings. A comprehensive review study involving human subjects is necessary to validate these findings.

Abstract

The Clean and Healthy Living Behavior Program (PHBS) is an effort to prevent disease by getting used to clean living and healthy behavior. PHBS is very important to be applied to the entire community, including Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). PMI live overseas, so health is very important. If they get sick, it will create new problems because access to health services is limited, and there is no family who can look after them. The solution offered to partners' problems is socialization regarding clean and healthy living habits, as well as how to get used to clean and healthy behavior. The development of a video about how to get used to living a clean and healthy life aims to increase the capacity of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia to get used to living a clean and healthy life, so that they can prevent disease attacks. The use of videos is intended to make socialization activities more effective. The Indonesian Embassy in Johor Bahru is a service partner, which will assist in bridging the service program that UNNES will carry out for PMI in the Johor Bahru Region. After conducting outreach to PMIs, the next step is to form several groups consisting of several PMIs to ensure the sustainability of the implementation of the PHBS program. The result of this activity is the availability of the PMI group as a forum for sharing and doing joint activities , as well as increasing knowledge and understanding about PHBS.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) are Indonesian citizens working abroad. To meet economic needs, many Indonesian citizens choose to work abroad. The problem found in this service activity is that working abroad has many consequences, one of which is being away from family. However, if they return to Indonesia, Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) have concerns about the skills they have to work in Indonesia. For this reason, the solution offered to partner problems is socialization related to digitalization of entrepreneurship through the use of social media, as well as ways to market business products. The purpose of this activity is to increase PMI's capacity as a provision for preparation to make a living after the employment contract in Korea has ended. Thus, PMI can work in Indonesia and be close to family. The method of implementing the activity is to provide socialization with the target to the Indonesian Student Association (PPI) and Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) in Korea. The result of this service activity is an increase in knowledge, skills, and motivation from the participants, namely PPI and PMI. In addition, it also received a positive response from all participants. This socialization activity is expected to be carried out to Indonesian migrant workers in other countries.
