Abstract

 Dalam rangka mengupdate mutu guru maka kegiatan ini dilaksanakan, khususnya pelatihan pembelajaran berbicara (selanjutnya disebut kalam). Kalam merupakan  salah satu kemahiran berbahasa Arab yang mayoritas mahasiswa merasa sulit menguasainya, karena sering ditemui mahasiswa yang pandai dalam kemahiran berbahasa yang lain, pandai membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan pandai gramatika bahasa, namun tidak bisa berbicara dalam bahasa Arab. Konsep pembelajaran kalam, yaitu: (1) memahami unsur-unsur metode kalam, (2)menyusun RPP untuk pembelajaran kalam, (3) menerapkan metode mutakhir dalam pembelajaran kalam,(4)  mengunakan media kreatif dan mutakhir untuk pembelajaran Kalam, (5) menyusun  assesmen untuk pembelajaran kalam, dan (6) mampu menerapkannya dalam proses belajar mengajar bahasa Arab. Untuk mengetahui keberhasilan kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dua macam evaluasi, yaitu evaluasi program dan evaluasi hasil program. Evaluasi program dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner untuk mendapatkan umpan balik dari peserta mengenai pelaksanaan program. Hasil evaluasi program menyatakan bahwa mereka sangat puas terhadap kegiatan pelatihan sejumlah 56, 2% , dan puas sejumlah 39,02%, cukup puas sejumlah 5,6 %, dan kurang puas sejumlah 0,51% dari total peserta sejumlah 165 guru. Evaluasi hasil belajar dilakukan dengan memberikan tugas untuk membuat  RPP untuk pembelajaran kalam dan menerapkanya dalam proses pembelajaran, serta hasil dari pantauan terhadap tugas yang diberikan pada peserta yang diunggah pada group Whatshapp. In order to update the quality of teachers, this activity was carried out, especially training in learning to speak (hereinafter referred to as kalam). Kalam is one of the Arabic language skills which the majority of students find it difficult to master, because students are often found who are good at other language skills, are good at reading, writing, listening, and good at language grammar, but cannot speak Arabic. The concept of learning kalam, namely: (1) understanding the elements of the kalam method, (2) compiling lesson plans for learning kalam, (3) applying the latest methods in learning kalam, (4) using creative and up-to-date media for learning Kalam, (5) compiling an assessment for learning kalam, and (6) being able to apply it in the teaching and learning process of Arabic. To determine the success of this training activity, two kinds of evaluations were carried out, namely program evaluation and program result evaluation. Program evaluation was carried out using a questionnaire to obtain feedback from participants regarding program implementation. The results of the program evaluation stated that they were very satisfied with the training activities as many as 56.2%, and satisfied as many as 39.02%, quite satisfied by 5.6%, and less satisfied by 0.51% of the total participants of 165 teachers. Evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out by giving the task of making lesson plans for learning kalam and applying it in the learning process, as well as the results of monitoring the assignments given to participants which are uploaded to the WhatsApp group.

Abstract

The existence of a new era, namely the era of society 5.0, requires everyone to adapt to technology. Technology in this era is developing very quickly, so everyone can be kept from this technology. This is undoubtedly the case in the world of education. Media that was previously only print-based is now required to bring up digital media. In making digital media, skills are needed to be related to mastery of technology. Therefore this training is necessary. This training is used to help prospective teachers at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muhsinat Bululawang Malang to create digital media in learning Tajwid wa Tilawah Al- Qur'an. Fifty participants attended the training. There are seven materials presented to encourage prospective Madrasah Diniyah Al-Muhsinat teachers to be skilled in making digital media. The methods used in this training are lectures, question and answer, micro-teaching, consultation, coaching, and mentoring. The questionnaire results from implementing this community service activity are as follows. Questionnaire results from the participants. 90% of the participants stated that the facilitators or presenters in this training were excellent, and 10% said they were good. 90% of participants stated that the presentation and mastery of the material by the presenters was excellent, and 10% said it was good. 96% of participants stated that the presented material followed the objectives, and 4% stated it was appropriate. 92% of participants stated that the presented material was exciting, and 8% stated it was interesting. 94% of participants stated that the training venue was very good, and 6% said it was good. 96% said the seminar facilities were excellent, and 4% said they were good. 90% of participants stated that the consumption was excellent, and 10% said it was good. 94% of participants stated that the training agenda was excellent, and 6% said it was good.

Abstract

Kegiatan penerapan ipteks ini adalah pelatihan kepada guru-guru bahasa Arab MI, MTs, dan MA Kabupaten Jember dalam pembuatan soal berbasis HOTS. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru bahasa Arab MI, MTs, dan MA yang masih rendah dalam menyusun tes HOTS Bahasa Arab dan memasukkannya dalam melalui software hot paotatoes. Sehingga tes yang disusun menjadi menarik karena bersifat interaktif. Setelah diadakan pelatihan, diharapkan guru memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menyusun tes HOT dan mampu membuat tes interaktif bahasa Arab. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, praktik, latihan, pembimbingan individual, dan konsultasi. Diharapkan dari hasil kegiatan ini, para guru memperoleh pemahaman yang mencukupi dalam penyusunan tes HOTS Bahasa Arab dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mereka dalam menyusun tes interaktif bahasa Arab berbasis Hot Potatoes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the quality of the vocabulary contained in the Arabic language textbooks for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level, published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020, based on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) guidelines. This study is purely a library research. The analytical technique used is content analysis, which is an effort to reveal the contents of a book. The results of this study indicate that the number of vocabulary words in the Arabic language textbooks for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah level published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020 does not meet the CEFR standard requirements. The vocabulary level in these books does not reach the A1 level (the lowest level) in the CEFR due to the fact that the textbooks contain 353 vocabulary words, whereas the A1 level of the CEFR requires 500 vocabulary words, thus needing an additional 147 words to reach the A1 level.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesalahan dalam produksi kosakata merupakan tantangan umum bagi pelajar pemula bahasa Arab, khususnya mereka yang memiliki latar belakang bahasa ibu berbeda. Artikel ini menganalisis kesalahan tersebut dari perspektif psikolinguistik dengan menyoroti aspek kognitif, fonologis, dan interferensi bahasa ibu. Menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif terhadap data empiris yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes produksi kosakata pada pelajar tingkat menengah pertama, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kesalahan dominan seperti substitusi bunyi, penghilangan bunyi, serta kekeliruan dalam memahami makna, yang dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan kapasitas memori kerja dan dampak bahasa ibu. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, artikel ini mengusulkan strategi pengajaran yang mengintegrasikan fonologi dan bahasa interlanguage guna meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran kosakata. Dengan pendekatan berbasis psikolinguistik, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan metode pengajaran yang lebih adaptif terhadap kebutuhan kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Pemerolehan bahasa ibu adalah proses alami yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk biologis, kognitif, dan lingkungan. Proses ini memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan anak, baik dari segi intelektual, sosial, maupun budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami lebih dalam teori-teori psikolinguistik tentang pemerolehan bahasa ibu, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi proses tersebut, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perkembangan individu. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis kajian literatur, penelitian ini menelaah berbagai teori dan temuan sebelumnya terkait pemerolehan bahasa. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemerolehan bahasa ibu berlangsung melalui tahapan-tahapan tertentu, mulai dari fase pra-linguistik hingga kemahiran berbahasa yang kompleks. Faktor biologis seperti perkembangan otak, faktor sosial seperti pola komunikasi dalam keluarga, serta teknologi modern memiliki pengaruh besar dalam proses ini. Namun, tantangan seperti minimnya stimulasi bahasa, gangguan neurologis, serta perubahan pola interaksi akibat teknologi juga dapat menghambat perkembangan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pemerolehan bahasa ibu tidak hanya berdampak pada kemampuan berbahasa, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan kognitif, penguatan ikatan sosial, dan keberlanjutan budaya. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman mendalam mengenai proses ini sangat penting untuk merancang strategi pendidikan bahasa yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Vocabulary (mufradat) is considered a fundamental element that supports communication, reading, and writing skills in the Arabic language. Research indicates that a good mastery of vocabulary significantly contributes to language learning success. The Suggestopedia method, which utilizes suggestion, music, and a comfortable learning environment, has proven effective in enhancing students' vocabulary acquisition. This method consists of six key elements in its implementation: (1) authority, (2) infantilization, (3) double-plane communication, (4) intonation, (5) rhythm, and (6) pseudo-passivity. Through these elements, the method creates an enjoyable and supportive learning atmosphere. Therefore, we expect its application to positively contribute to Arabic language teaching at the primary and secondary education levels.  This study aims to describe the Suggestopedia method, the meaning and urgency of vocabulary learning, and the implementation of Suggestopedia in vocabulary instruction. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing various books and journal articles relevant to the Suggestopedia method. The findings indicate that (1) Suggestopedia is a method that emphasizes the use of suggestion to create feelings of enjoyment, confidence, and relaxation, enabling both the right and left hemispheres of the brain to function effectively. (2) Mastery of vocabulary is a crucial factor in Arabic language skills, including communication, reading, writing, and text comprehension. (3) There are six key elements to consider in applying the Suggestopedia method for vocabulary instruction: the teacher’s full role, learners as information receivers similar to young children, double-plane communication sources, the use of vocal intonation, musical rhythm, and a calm and comfortable attitude.

Abstract

The lyrics of the song “Usik” by Feby Putri represent human psychological dynamics through the use of diction and narratives that describe internal conflicts and resilience efforts. This study aims to analyse the representation of inner conflict and self-recovery mechanisms in the lyrics of “Usik” using Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis approach. The research method used is qualitative with content analysis method, which is carried out through three stages of analysis, namely macro-structure analysis to identify the main theme, superstructure analysis to map the narrative flow, and micro-structure analysis that includes semantic, syntactic, and stylistic aspects. The analysis process is strengthened by data triangulation through audience responses obtained from social media, to ensure the validity of the interpretation. The results reveal that the macro structure of the lyrics of “Usik” describes the struggle to find the meaning of life amidst pressure, while the superstructure forms a transformative narrative that moves from the conflict phase to spiritual resolution. In microstructure, linguistic strategies such as the use of darkness metaphors, imperative requests, and rhetorical repetition succeed in strengthening the emotional and spiritual dimensions. The study concludes that the lyrics of “Usik” not only reflect psychological conflict but also offer a narrative of resilience through spiritual affirmation and intimate language, thus demonstrating the relevance of critical discourse analysis in interpreting the complexity of popular music texts. Abstract

This study aims to develop Arabic learning materials based on communicative approaches to enhance the 21st-century skills of students in Thailand. The research used the ADDIE model, which includes five steps: analyzing student needs, designing materials, developing content and media, implementing the materials in the classroom, and evaluating their effectiveness. Data were collected from students, teachers, and experts using questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observations. The results show that the materials significantly improved students' speaking confidence (78.4%) and listening comprehension (81.2%). Expert validation, teachers' and students' responses yielded a feasibility score of 84,3%, confirming the materials' content, language, and presentation quality. Additionally, the materials encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, essential components of modern education. This study offers practical contributions to Arabic language teaching by providing learning resources that are not only communicative but also aligned with 21st-century educational demands and student-centered learning principles.

Abstract

The Quran Arabic Teaching(QAT) application is an innovative Android-based tool developed to enhance Arabic vocabulary learning, particularly for students at the Jami' Malang Great Mosque Islamic Boarding School. Utilizing the Quran Arabic Corpus (QAC) as its primary resource, the application provides contextual vocabulary learning by exploring word meanings, roots, and usage within Quranic verses. Guided by the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation—the development process ensures the application’s relevance, content quality, and effectiveness in supporting Arabic language education. Results indicate significant positive impacts, with 85% of students reporting increased motivation, 90% showing greater self-will in learning, and 88% benefiting from the flexibility to study independently. Additionally, 92% of students expressed satisfaction with the application’s user-friendly and engaging features. These findings highlight its ability to foster an effective and enjoyable learning environment. Future enhancements, such as speech recognition for pronunciation practice, interactive vocabulary games, and expanded grammar content, are recommended. The application’s integration of Quranic texts enriches linguistic comprehension while deepening appreciation for Islamic scripture. Thus, the QAT application serves as an effective tool in Arabic language learning, offering valuable potential for broader use in Islamic educational settings.
