Abstract

Studies on relative clause embedded transformation sentences have been conducted extensively, but are still limited and have not paid attention to religious texts such as the translated text of the Qur'an. This study aims to analyze (1) the form of embedded transformation sentences, (2) the process of embedded transformation sentences, and (3) the rules of embedded transformation sentences found in the translated text of Surah Al-Mulk. The data used in this study are verses from Surah Al-Mulk that have a relative clause embedded transformation sentence pattern. The data collection method in this study uses documentation techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using intralingual and extralingual matching methods. The results of this study found that there are 3 forms of relative clause embedded transformation sentences, namely the Embedded-Dense (S-R) form which consists of 6 verses, the Closed-Embedded form which consists of 2 verses, and the Embedded-Dense-Embedded (S-R-S) form which consists of 2 verses. Based on the position of the embedding, at the beginning of the sentence there is a sentence pattern of Embedded-Dense (S-R) and at the end of the sentence there is a Close-Embedded (R-S). Based on the rules of sentence transformation, there is a pattern of Embedded-Dense-Embedded (S-R-S) in complex sentences and a pattern of Embedded-Dense (S-R) in simple sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to increase sales at the Tupperware Store in Sintang District, Sintang Regency. The rapid development of the business world has encouraged companies, including household plastic product retailers, to continuously improve their marketing strategies in order to remain competitive. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to understand sales improvement efforts through service quality, business capital management, and the use of social media as a marketing tool. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving store owners, employees, and customers. The results show that service quality plays an important role in creating customer satisfaction and loyalty, although employee understanding of promotional details still needs improvement. Business capital management using own capital provides flexibility in operations and stock availability, but stock shortages still occur during certain periods. Social media marketing through Instagram and Facebook has proven effective in increasing brand awareness and customer engagement, although competition with large online stores remains a challenge. Overall, improving employee training, optimizing stock management, and strengthening digital marketing strategies are key factors in increasing sales at the Tupperware Store in Sintang District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze research trends in the development of communicative Arabic teaching materials integrated with digital technology. The review also examines how QR Code technology and gamification have been incorporated within this broader development trend. The method used is Systematic Literature Review with reference to the PRISMA procedure which includes the identification, selection, eligibility, and inclusion stages. The data source was obtained through national and international scientific articles published in the 2022–2026 range and according to the topics of communicative teaching materials, digital technology-based learning, and gamification of Arabic language learning. The results of the study have shown the development of Arabic teaching materials still tends to lead to the integration of digital technology to increase interactivity and student involvement. In addition, a communicative approach has proven to be an important foundation in supporting the mastery of Arabic language skills in a contextual manner. Furthermore, the application of gamification, especially through educational games such as monopoly, shows significant potential in increasing learning motivation and active participation of students. However, there are still research gaps related to the simultaneous integration of communicative teaching materials, QR Code technology, and monopoly games in one complete learning design. Therefore, this research provides important implications as a conceptual basis in the development of innovative Arabic teaching materials that are able to integrate communicative approaches, digital technology, and gamification to improve the quality of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Indonesian as a mother tongue has characteristics that distinguish it from Arabic. The existing differences cause difficulties in learning Arabic. This study aims to conduct a contrastive analysis of adjective phrases between Indonesian and Arabic and explain the implications of the results in learning Arabic. This study is library research on Arabic and Indonesian literature by collecting data in adjective phrase examples using listening and note-taking method. The results of this study show similarities and differences between Indonesian and Arabic adjective phrases. The existing similarities include: 1) similarities in the order of forming elements of the adjective phrase, 2) similarities in the purpose of the phrase-forming elements, 3) similarities in the position of the phrase, specifically in mubtada', khabar, subject, object, and syibhu al-jumlah. Meanwhile, the differences between adjective phrases lie on the compatibility between the phrase-forming elements that exist in Arabic adjective phrases but are not applicable in Indonesian, which are muannats-mudzakkar, ma'rifah-nakirah, number and position of the phrase in a sentence. The results of this contrastive analysis in learning Arabic have direct implications for predicting students' errors when studying Arabic adjective phrase, sorting teaching materials and selecting learning strategies for Arabic adjective phrase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying David Ausubel's cognitive theory on students' Nahwu learning outcomes at Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Huda Malang. The research used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. The subjects were 20 students who received learning treatment based on Ausubel's cognitive theory. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test results and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students' Nahwu learning outcomes after applying Ausubel's cognitive theory, as indicated by the Wilcoxon test (Z = -3.738, Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05). These results suggest that integrating meaningful learning principles enhances students' ability to connect new knowledge with prior understanding, thereby improving conceptual mastery in Nahwu. Theoretically, this study reinforces Ausubel's claim that prior knowledge is a key determinant in cognitive development. Pedagogically, the findings encourage Arabic language educators to design learning experiences that activate students' existing knowledge structures to achieve deeper, more sustainable learning outcomes.
