Abstract

Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that are grown in the yard and are efficacious as medicine. The plants planted in the mini garden are telang flowers, red binahong, and kumis kucing. The manufacture of TOGA serves as a means to bring medicinal plants closer to public health efforts, which include preventive efforts (prevention), promotive efforts (improving health degrees), and curative efforts (curing diseases). Based on the problems and potentials owned by Sumbergede village, Wringinanom District, Gresik Regency, several stages are carried out, namely coordinating the creation of a mini toga garden with the head of Sumbergede village, conducting a survey of the location where the TOGA mini park will be made, Preparing tools and materials to create a TOGA mini garden, Making a TOGA mini garden. The educational participants seemed enthusiastic about participating in this activity. Some participants were able to identify the types of TOGA around their homes and were motivated to add other kinds of TOGA. The use of TOGA is considered safer, more practical, and does not require much cost than the use of drugs from pharmacies. Through this activity, it is hoped that the community can be motivated to plant TOGA around their homes and increase the use of TOGA in the treatment of diseases with mild symptoms in the community. Family medicinal plants are very important because they concern the health aspect of the community of Sumbergede village.

Abstract

Chalcone is one of secondary metabolites included into the class of flavonoid. Chalcone can be obtained from isolation plant and have various biological activities. Chalcones are known as the key intermediate in the synthesis of various biologically important heterocyclic compounds. The aims of these research was to syntheses 2’,4’-dichloro-4-methoxychalcone. by Claisen–Schmidt condensation. These compound was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and mass spectroscopy. LC50 value of these compound was 864,97 ppm

Abstract

Sterile preparations are pharmaceutical products that must be free from microorganisms and foreign particles, so they are very important to use in applications that involve direct contact with human body tissue or the circulatory system. The aim of this research is to understand the evaluations that exist on sterile preparations, as well as understanding all the tests carried out on sterile preparations. The method used is the article review method, which sorts thousands of journals into hundreds, tens and up to 5 journals that match the theme. The results obtained are evaluations in sterile preparations, namely organoleptic tests, pH tests, clarity tests, transferred volume tests, homogeneity tests, spreadability tests, adhesion tests, viscosity tests, etc.

Abstract

Salep mata steril merupakan salah satu sediaan farmasi yang digunakan untuk mengobati gangguan dan infeksi pada mata. Penelitian ini mengkaji berbagai formulasi salep mata, meliputi bahan aktif seperti Econazole Nitrate dan Ketoconazole, serta penggunaan basis seperti ghee sapi yang meningkatkan penetrasi obat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa salep mata memiliki durasi kontak lebih lama dengan jaringan mata dibandingkan larutan, meningkatkan bioavailabilitas zat aktif, dan memberikan efek terapeutik yang efektif. Stabilitas formula, pengaruh wadah, dan metode penyimpanan juga menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga efektivitas salep mata. Selain itu, penggunaan bahan alami seperti ekstrak daun zaitun memberikan manfaat tambahan sebagai agen antibakteri. Penelitian ini mendukung pengembangan salep mata steril yang aman, efektif, dan inovatif untuk aplikasi oftalmik.

Abstract

Inspeksi visual asam asetat (IVA) ialah salah satu metode deteksi dini kanker serviks yang sama populer dengan pap smear. Indonesia ialah salah satu negara dengan jumlah penderita kanker serviks tinggi di dunia. Setiap 1 menit muncul 1 kasus baru setiap 2 menit meninggal 1 orang wanita karena kanker serviks. diketahui di Puskesmas Simpang Tiga terdapat 15 kasus lesi pra kanker yang termasuk dalam 10 besar penyakit tidak menular di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Simpang Tiga tahun 2015.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan keikutsertaan wanita usia subur (WUS) dalam metode IVA di Puskesmas Simpang Tiga Pekanbaru Tahun 2016.Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif analitik dengan desain penelitian Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah WUS yang berusia 15-44 tahun yang berkunjung di Puskesmas Simpang Tiga dengan jumlah 95 WUS. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan Sampling Kuota. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square dan alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan pendidikan dengan kunjungan IVA (P value = 0,529>0,05, nilai POR = 0,703), terdapat hubungan pekerjaan dengan kunjungan IVA (P value = (0,000<0,05, nilai POR=0,194), terdapat hubungan akses informasi dengan kunjungan IVA (P value=0,000<0,05, nilai POR = 5,231), terdapat hubungan peran kader kesehatan dengan kunjungan IVA (P value = 0,028<0,05, nilai POR =2,762) dan juga terdapat hubungan penyuluhan kesehatan dengan kunjungan IVA (P value = 0,035<0,05, nilai POR = 2,656). Disarankan pada instansi terkait yaitu Pukesmas Simpang Tiga untuk meningkatkan konseling atau penyuluhan pada WUS tentang metode IVA agar segera terdeteksi sedini mungkin penderita kanker serviks.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was yo determine the effect of Intellectual Capital, Good Corporate Governance and Firm Size on Value of the Firm in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The time period used is 4 years, from 2018-2021. The populations of this study includes all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2021 with total 194 companies and a sample of 39 companies was obtained with purposive sampling method. The number of observation data is 156 data. The type of data used is secondary data. The method of data analysis in this research is panel data regression using Eviews 12 program. The result of this study showed that Intellectual Capital has a positive effect. Good Corporate Governance has no effect and Firm Size has a negavite effect on Value of the Firm.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the initial reading difficulties of class 1A students at SD Negeri 1 Pagundan, Kuningan. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with the research subjects being teachers and class 1A students. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results showed that around 44.4% of students experienced difficulty in beginning reading. These difficulties include an inability to read syllables, word for word, diphthongs, clusters, and diagraphs; not yet able to read consonants; not being able to read vowels correctly and repeating and paraphrasing incorrectly; and don't know the meaning of the words. To overcome this difficulty, teachers provide special guidance to students who need greater attention. Teachers also use letter cards and story books as visual aids to make the learning process more interactive. In addition, regular reading practice is carried out both at school and at home through small groups of students to prioritize those who need additional help. Encouraging parent participation in their child's learning process is also an important part of this strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the model of child adoption practices and the legal consequences of adopted child status in Islamic Law. This research is a field study with a juridical-empirical approach, which is descriptive and analytical in nature. Data on child adoption practices were analyzed using Friedman's legal system theory, which views the legal system as consisting of interconnected subsystems, including legal rules, enforcement, and the legal culture of the community. The effectiveness and success of law enforcement are measured through three elements of the legal system: the structure of the law, the substance of the law, and the legal culture. The research findings indicate that the model of child adoption practices in Batang District, Central Java is highly diverse. These models are observed in several villages within Batang District, such as Lebo, Pesaren, Banjiran, and Kalipucang Wetan. According to Indonesian legal regulations regarding child adoption, the reality is that the first model of child adoption does not comply with Indonesian legal rules, while the second model follows a familial approach. Several variations of these models present legal issues that have significant implications, particularly in terms of lineage, inheritance rights, and mahram relationships.

Abstract

Sustained-release tablets are pharmaceutical preparations designed to gradually release the active substance over a specific period, thereby maintaining a constant concentration of the drug in the circulatory system and enhancing therapeutic effectiveness.The development of sustained-release tablets aims to extend the duration of drug action, reduce the frequency of dose administration, and minimize fluctuations in drug levels in the plasma, which ultimately enhances patient compliance and treatment effectiveness, especially in chronic diseases.The purpose of this review is to identify various formulation methods and innovations in the production of sustained-release tablets, as well as to examine the factors that influence the success of these formulations.The method used in this study is a literature review that collects data from various scientific publications over the past five years through online platforms such as Google Scholar, using keywords related to matrix sustained-release tablets and pharmaceutical formulations.The results of the review indicate that various techniques, such as formulating polymer matrices, coating, and encapsulation, have been applied with varying degrees of success depending on the type of active ingredients and excipients used. Some formulation innovations, such as the use of natural polymer matrices and matrix modifications, have proven effective in achieving controlled, stable, and quality-standard-compliant drug release.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this review article is to analyze the formulation and evaluation of the use of various additives in effervescent tablets. The method used is a literature review taken from journals and other relevant research results regarding the formulation and evaluation of additives in various types of effervescent tablets. The purpose of this analysis is to provide a summary of relevant publications and to improve current understanding in this field. The importance of the formulation and evaluation of additives in effervescent tablets cannot be ignored, because it is a crucial aspect in product development. Decisions in the use of additives must consider the objectives to be achieved, the desired physical characteristics, product stability, and the level of consumer acceptance. With a deep understanding of this formulation and evaluation, we have the potential to produce high-quality effervescent tablets. Variations in additives can also provide different taste and texture characteristics, which of course can affect consumer acceptance.
