Abstract

Upaya mewujudkan mahasiswa yang memahami dan sadar lingkungan merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan oleh perguruan tinggi. Berbagai institusi perguruan tinggi memaksimalkan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran mahasiswa dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dalam berbagai kegiatan peduli lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa sebagai aktor penggunaan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survey dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner online. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas untuk mengukur validitas instrumen, tabulasi dan visualisasi data. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa sebanyak 92 orang dari 9 fakultas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran dalam upaya penggunaan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan sesuai dengan hasil pengukuran persepsi pada mahasiswa. Para mahasiswa memiliki anggapan bahwa dengan melibatkan mereka dalam peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kampus dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan kesadaran mahasiswa dan memperkuat peran perguruan tinggi dalam melibatkan mahasiswa dalam aktivitas dalam meggunakan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang utama dalam kehidupan khususnya dunia pendidikan. Maka dari itu kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menjadi sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Serta penelitian ini meberikan hal khusus pada faktor literasi lingkungan siswa yang dianggap sebagai hal utama dalam keberhasil pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakauan bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari model Geographical Inquiry Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis ditinjau dari iterasi lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan subjek sebanyak 70 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desaian posttest-only dengan metode quasi eksperimen yang menyertakan kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Geographical inquiry dan kelas kontrol menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data penelitian berupa hasil nilai tes kemampuan beprikir kritis dan kuesioner skala likert literasi lingkungan. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan uji annova. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kemampuan beprikir kritis siswa menunjukan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan model Geographical Inquiry berpengaruh signifikan dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensioanl. Jika dilihat dari tingkatan literasi lingkungan, literasi lingkungan dengan kategiori tinggi berpnegaruh terhadap kemampuan beprikir kritis siswa. Oleh karena itu, model Geographical inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara signifikan jika dilihat dari tingkatan literasi lingkungan siswa. Sehingga pendekatan pembelajaran Geographical Inquiry menjadi salah satu penerapan pembelajaran yang efektif untuk digunakan oleh guru.

Abstract

Pengembangan infografis berbasis spasial sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dilakukan berdasarkan beberapa analisis meliputi, analisis kebutuhan materi, analisis kebutuhan peserta didik, dan anaisis terhadap penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti terdahulu. Materi dinamika hidrosfer pada topik sungai merupakan salah satu materi yang membutuhkan media pembelajaran. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran geografi berupa infografis berbasis spasial sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif yang layak digunakan pada materi dinamika hidrosfer topik sungai. Pengembangan produk dilakukan sampai produk media sudah memenuhi kriteria yang ditentukan oleh peneliti meliputi interaktif, praktis, dan informatif. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE dengan tahapan yang sudah dimodifikasi, yakni 1) analisis; 2) desain; 3) development (pengembangan); dan 4) evaluasi. Data dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini terdiri dari dua jenis yakni, data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa media pembelajaran interaktif infografis berbasis spasial pada topik sungai. Validasi yang telah dilakukan oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi menyatakan bahwa secara umum media yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran geografi dengan beberapa catatan perbaikan. Hasil penilaian yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan pada aspek tampilan, penggunaan, materi dan manfaat dengan jumlah 16 pertanyaan diperoleh persentase 92,39 percent yang berarti “media sangat sesuai dan dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Rekomendasi penelitian dan pengembangan produk lebih lanjut berupa pengembangan infografis berbasis spasial sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat dioperasikan pada perangkat android dan Ios berbentuk aplikasi tanpa menggunakan software MS Powerpoint. The development of spatial-based infographics as interactive learning media is carried out based on several analyses including analysis of material needs, analysis of student needs, and analysis of research that has been carried out by previous researchers. Hydrospheric dynamics material on the topic of rivers is one of the materials that require learning media. This research and development aim to produce a geographic learning media product in the form of spatial-based infographics as an interactive learning medium that is suitable for use in the topic of river hydrosphere dynamics. Product development is carried out until the media product meets the criteria determined by the researcher including being interactive, practical, and informative. The research and development method used in this research is the ADDIE model with modified stages, namely 1) analysis; 2) design; 3) development (development); and 4) evaluation. The data in this research and development consists of two types, namely, qualitative data and quantitative data. The product resulting from this research and development is in the form of interactive learning media based on spatial infographics on the topic of rivers. The validation that has been carried out by media expert validators and material expert’s states that in general the media that has been developed is suitable for use in learning geography with some notes of improvement. The results of the assessment carried out by students on the learning media developed in the aspects of appearance, use, material and benefits with a total of 16 questions obtained a percentage of 92.39% which means "the media is very suitable and can be used as a medium in learning activities at school. Recommendations for further research and product development are the development of spatial-based infographics as interactive learning media that can be operated on Android and iOS devices in the form of applications without using MS PowerPoint.

Abstract

This research can provide the answer that the potential of the local area is quite potential and needs to be utilized wisely for the welfare of the community. The purpose of this research is to know the potential of medicinal plant cultivation land and to obtain data base on the suitability of medicinal plant cultivation area with application of Geographical Information System (GIS) as a medicinal plant area in Sambore Tribe Area. Abstract

Potensi bencana yang dihadapkan di Indonesia perlu penanggulangan yang tepat. Salah satu alternatif penyebaran pengurangan risiko melalui pendidikan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis model Guided Inquiry Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial siswa sebagai penguat literasi bencana. Riset ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group, melibatkan dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Guided Inquiry Learning dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa kelas XI 1 dan XI 7 SMA sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen tes sebagai alat ukur kemampuan berpikir spasial, sedangkan kuesioner digunakan untuk mengukur literasi bencana siswa. Independent t-test N-Gain score menjadi uji hipotesis pada aplikasi SPSS 26.0 for windows. N-Gain Score diperoleh rata-rata 63,3% pada kelas eksperimen, artinya model Guided Inquiry Learning cukup efektif digunakan, sedangkan kelas kontrol diperoleh 23,0% yang artinya tidak efektif digunakan pada proses pembelajaran. Perolehan hasil dapat disimpulkan H0 diterima H1 ditolak yang berarti eksperimen model Guided Inquiry Learning berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir spasial sebagai penguat literasi bencana siswa antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat mengembangkan metode yang lebih inovatif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

The need for textbooks used in schools is one of the causes of learning difficulties among students. This development research aims to create picture-based textbooks about ASEAN countries with the integration of QR-Code technology in social studies content for sixth-grade elementary school students. This research and development uses the Dick & Carey development model. Research subjects are design experts, material experts, teachers, and students. Data collection method using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The design and material expert validation test results are in the valid category. The practicality test showed very practical results, and the attractiveness test obtained a very attractive product. The development results are included in the effective criteria because student learning outcomes increased from the pretest to an increase during the posttest. Thus, learning using picture-based textbooks about ASEAN countries with QR-Code integration is more effective and improves student learning outcomes compared to not using textbooks. The research conclusions show that picture-based textbooks about ASEAN countries with QR-Code integration for class VI elementary schools are feasible and valid for learning. This research implies that teachers can use picture-based textbooks about ASEAN countries with QR-Code integration to support social studies learning for class VI elementary schools.

Abstract

Landslides often occur in areas with steep topography and unstable geology. Mojo District, particularly the slopes of Mount Wilis, is a landslide-prone area influenced by slope steepness and land use changes. This study analyzes the main factors contributing to landslides using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and vulnerability mapping based on Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). The five main parameters used include slope steepness, soil texture, rainfall, geology, and land use. The AHP weighting results indicate slope steepness as the dominant factor (weight 0.40), followed by soil texture with a value of 0.25, rainfall 0.15, geology 0.12, and land use 0.08. The vulnerability index map is divided into three classes: low, moderate, and high. Validation using data from 13 actual landslide events shows high spatial consistency, particularly in the southwestern and central regions of Mojo District, which experience high rainfall and sandy clay soils that are less stable. The final results of this study can serve as a basis for landslide disaster mitigation efforts and spatial planning in landslide-prone areas.

Abstract

Tourism has developed into an important economic sector with great potential for growth. However, the sustainability of the industry remains a challenge due to issues such as resource exploitation, ecological degradation, and lack of local community involvement. In light of these challenges, sustainable tourism has become a central theme in tourism destination management across Indonesia, including Punaga Beach in South Sulawesi. This study explored the characteristics of sustainable tourism management at Punaga Beach and the factors that influence its success. The study adopted a quantitative approach using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Data were collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders, questionnaires, and field observations. The findings indicate that tourism management at Punaga Beach needs to be strengthened through strategies involving collaboration between the government, local communities, and the private sector. Based on the AHP analysis, the priority factors in sustainable tourism management include improving human resource quality, enhancing facilities, and raising community awareness of environmental conservation. This study provides recommendations for sustainability-based management improvements to achieve more efficient and long-term tourism development at Punaga Beach

Abstract

The diversity of teaching materials in the current era is experiencing very rapid development, so that the selection of appropriate teaching materials will have an impact on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of the application and determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in the implementation of teaching materials based on ArcGIS StoryMaps. The results of initial observations conducted at SMA Negeri 12 Makassar showed that teachers still use teaching materials in the form of books, power points and websites that are less interactive so that this has an impact on student learning outcomes that are lacking. The method in this study uses N-Gain analysis to measure student learning outcomes. The data collection technique in this study was divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class with 20 samples each through pre-test and post-test. The results of this study are 1. based on the results of the average pre-test, the experimental class score was 52 and the control class 34 while the average post-test score in the experimental class was 73 and the control class 35. 2. Based on the results of the normality test (N-Gain) showed that the experimental class was 0.56 and the control class was 0.8. This shows that there has been an increase in students' understanding in the use of teaching materials based on ArcGIS StoryMaps, especially in the material on the Distribution of Flora and Fauna in Indonesia

Abstract

Aim: This study aimed to describe the Urban Environmental Disaster Mitigation Model at Al-Anwar Modern Islamic Boarding School in Pacitan Regency, with a particular focus on earthquake and tsunami mitigation strategies. Methodology and results: The research employed a qualitative case study approach. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, with source triangulation employed to ensure data validity. The Urban Environmental Disaster Mitigation Model at Al-Anwar Modern Islamic Boarding School integrates disaster preparedness in educational and urban contexts. Supported by technology, policies, simulations, and SPAB program integration, it enhances risk assessment, evacuation planning, and resource mobilization, fostering technical, cognitive, and moral capacities. The model is replicable for coastal and seismic regions. Conclusion, significance and impact study: The findings show that the Urban Environmental Disaster Mitigation Model at Al-Anwar Modern Islamic Boarding School represents a comprehensive approach to preparedness by integrating disaster mitigation, environmental awareness, and technological innovation within an urban educational setting. Disaster knowledge, regular simulations, and the use of GIS, AR, and digital platforms have enhanced community readiness, while institutional commitment through policies and structured coordination ensures sustainability. The significance of this study lies in demonstrating how education can function as both a learning domain and a resilience hub, equipping students with technical, cognitive, and moral capacities to face earthquake and tsunami risks. Its impact extends beyond the school through community partnerships, resource mobilization, and replicable strategies adaptable to other coastal and seismic regions. Ultimately, the model fosters sustainable urban disaster risk reduction by embedding resilience into both institutional practices and educational culture.
