Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out if using Cooperative Learning Strategy can improve students’ writing skills of grade ten students at SMA Negeri 7 Palu. The researchers applied quasi-experimental design with two classes: experimental and control classes. The experimental class consisted of 34 students and control class consisted of 35 students selected through cluster random sampling technique. In collecting data, the researchers administered pretest and posttest to both the experimental class and control class. The data were analyzed statistically in order to find out the significant difference of students’ achievement before and after treatments. Using 0.025 level of significance and 67 degree of freedom (df), the researchers found that the value of t-table was 1.998, which was lower than the t-counted 3.57. It means that the hypothesis is accepted. In other words, using Cooperative Learning Strategy can improve students’ writing skills.

Abstract

Persaingan antar perusahaan yang semakin ketat menuntut perusahaan untuk dapat bertahan dan bersaing dengan perusahaan lain. Sebuah instansi merupakan sekelompok manusia yang bekerja sama dalam mencapai tujuan bersama yang telah direncanakan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Human Relation Dan Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Etos Kerja Pegawai Pada Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Dan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh human relation dan budaya organisasi secara parsial dan simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode anasisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan data primer, metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian ini adalah pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Dan Pedapatan Daerah Kota Pariaman yang berjumlah 63 orang, dari semua kuisioner yang dibagikan yang berjumlah 63 tetapi yang mengembalikan hanya 54 orang tersebut dijadikan sampel karema menurut Sugiyono (2017) jumlah tersebut sudah memenuhi jumlah minimal sampel penelitian yaitu 30 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan human relation dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap etos kerja pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan Dan Pendapatan Daerah Kota Pariaman secara parsial dan simultan. Regresinya adalah Y=14,292X1+0,383X2+0,712 dan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,393, artinya variabel independen mampu menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar 39,3% sedangkan sisanya 60,7% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji dan mengetahui pengaruh pengelolaan Barang Milik Daerah (BMD) terhadap Kualitas Laporan Keuangan Pemerintah Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, dengan menggunakan indikator Perencanaan, Pengadaan dan Penggunaan yang diuji secara parsial dan simultan.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 50 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknikpurposive sampling. Hipotesis dalam penelitiaan inidiuji dengan teknik analisis linear berganda menggunakan SPSS versi-23. Hasil pengujian secara parsial dari penelitian ini menujukan bahwa Perencanaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, Pengadaan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan nilai signifikansi 0,008 < 0,05, dan Penggunaan secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan dengan nilai 0,042 < 0,05. Adapun secara simultan variabel Perencanaan, Pengadaan, dan Penggunaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas laporan keuangan Pemerintah Kabupaten Padang Pariamandengan nilai signifikansisebesar 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is one of the important things in an organisation, so employees will try to give their best for the benefit of the company. The results of ASN job satisfaction in 2022 there are items, career development systems, education and training and HR information systems that show ASN dissatisfaction is a greater percentage than ASN job satisfaction. Judging from the existing phenomenon, it is known that problems regarding job satisfaction are still found in SMA Negeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This study aims to determine: The effect of transformational leadership and organisational culture on employee job satisfaction at SMANegeri 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam Padang Pariaman Regency with a sample of 71 people Data were collected by questionnaire and analysed with the SPSS program. Based on the results showed that transformational leadership affects employee job satisfaction of SMA 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam with a tcount of 2.586> t table 1.993 and a significance of 0.012 < 0.05. Organisational culture affects job satisfaction of SMA 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam employees with a tcount of 3.684 > t table 1.993 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Transformational leadership and organisational culture simultaneously and significantly influence job satisfaction of SMA 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam employees with Fcount 30,818 and Adjusted R2 = 0.475 = 47.5%.

Abstract

The implementation of marketing strategies greatly influences company performance. The success or failure of a company is largely determined by how the company develops to be able to compete in winning consumers by implementing effective marketing strategies, namely: Increasing quality products, Improving strategic locations, Maximizing product promotions. The research results show that based on the development of the SWOT Matrix Diagram analysis, Rumah Batik Sampan Pesona Minang needs to develop a SO (Strength and Opportunities) Strategy. From processing the questionnaire, the results obtained are that the Company's position at point X is in quadrant I, where the Company has enough strength to take advantage of the opportunities available. By paying attention to the proximity of point X to quadrant IV, where threats are sufficient to put pressure on the Company in competition. Rumah Batik Sampan Pesona Minang improves its competitive strategy by providing quality products, increasing employee skills in batik, increasing promotions, increasing cooperation between fellow businesses, improving strategic locations, increasing business networks, increasing stock of goods and anticipating product price variations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using Word Wall media in improving vocabulary mastery of grade eight students of MTs DDI Lonja Sigi, Central Sulawesi.  This is a quasi-experimental research design, involving 33 students selected through total population sampling technique.  To collect the data, paper-and-pencil method with tests (pretest and posttest) was used. Result indicated that there was a significant difference between students’ vocabulary mastery before and after the intervention. With ρ=0.05 and df=31, it was found that the tcounted value of 9.21 is higher than the tcritical value of 1.696. This means, the research hypothesis is accepted. In other words, using Word Wall media can improve vocabulary mastery of grade eight students of MTs DDI Lonja Sigi.

Abstract

Integrating Positive Discipline and Digital Learning to Improve the Effectiveness of the Indonesian Education Curriculum. Objectives: This study analysis the effectiveness of implementing a positive discipline approach and digital learning interactions in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Kendari.  Methods: Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year involving 74 educators. Data collection was done through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, with analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings: The results showed that 70% of teachers successfully implemented positive reinforcement effectively, while in digital learning, 85% of teachers successfully implemented the think-pair-share method. The integration of these two approaches creates a more comprehensive learning environment and supports the development of 21st century competencies. The Merdeka Mengajar platform plays an important role as a supporting infrastructure that facilitates the implementation of both approaches. However, the study also identified challenges such as consistency of implementation and the need to develop teachers' digital competencies.  Conclusion: The findings present important insights for the development of educational practices in the digital era and the effective implementation of Merdeka Curriculum. Keywords: Positive discipline, digital learning, Merdeka CurriculumDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024143

Abstract

This research discusses the Barge Burning tradition of the Chinese community in Bagansiapiapi, which was originally only a community culture carried out by the Chinese community, until it finally changed to become a public spectacle celebrated by the entire community in 2006-2019. The aim of this research is to see why the ethnic Chinese barge burning tradition has changed from a community culture to a public spectacle and what forms of change in the barge burning tradition, which was originally a community culture, has become a public spectacle in 2006-2019. This research uses historical research methods. The results of the research show that the Bagansiapiapi Chinese ethnic barge burning tradition has undergone changes since 2006, because the Regional Government made it a regional cultural tourism event in Rokan Hilir Regency. There are values that have changed due to commercialization, namely the time of barge burning, previously ships were burned at night, since it became a tourist event the barge burning was carried out earlier, namely in the afternoon or evening. Then the shape and material of the ships changed, in the 18th century ships were made of bamboo and paper, since 2006 the materials used have been wood, bamboo and colorful paper. As a result of turning Bakar Tongkang into a tourist event, tourists are interested in seeing the celebration and coming to Bagansiapiapi and increasing the Regional Revenue Budget, as evidenced by the number of tourists which continues to increase every year.

Abstract

This research discusses the characteristics and efforts to preserve Dikia Rabano Art in Nagari Koto Rajo, Pasaman Regency, 1987-2022. This research aims to analyze the steps that have been taken to maintain the continuity of Dikia Rabano in Nagari Koto Rajo, Pasaman Regency. Using four techniques in historical research, namely heuristics, is the first step in searching for historical sources, followed by sources criticism, interpretation and historiography. This research was motivated by the lack of public interest in studying Dikia Rabano resulting in various conservation efforts carried out by the community and full support from the government. The result of this research show that the characteristics of Dikia Rabano in Nagari Koto Rajo are always performed in traditional processions  such as weddings, naming children and thanksgiving for the hajj. Efforts to preserve Dikia Rabano were carried out throught several forms of efforts, namely protection, development and utilization, starting from  1987 to 2022. At the protection stage, there were active efforts from the community and government to maintain and protect Dikia Rabano, the next stage, namely development, at this stage was supported by several steps conservation efforts such as maintenance, training and display. Finally, Dikia Rabano™s art contains many useful educational values that can increase insight and knowledge. So it can be concluded that Dikia Rabano is still sustainable today thaks to conservation efforts carried out bg the community and government. Dikia Rabano managed to survive and thrive.

Abstract

This article explains how the ethnic Chinese of Padang maintain the continuity of the death procession in Chinese culture. This article uses a historical approach by utilizing sources in the form of Dutch period documents, organizational documents of Himpunan Tjinta Teman (HTT) and Himpunan Bersatu Teguh (HBT), newspaper news and literature studies on the death processions of ethnic Chinese in Indonesia and outside Indonesia, as well as observations and interviews with HBT and HTT funeral administrators. These sources are used to find facts related to the death processions carried out by ethnic Chinese and the existence of HBT and HTT as institutions organizing Padang Chinese funeral processions. Furthermore, the existing facts are analyzed using historical and ethnographic approaches. The findings of the article show that the ethnic Chinese of Padang still carry out and preserve the implementation of the Chinese cultural death procession in an organizational forum. In this case, the organization's function as the organizer of the death procession for Padang Chinese is the key to the survival and existence of the organization itself. Various Chinese cultures preserved and inherited in the HTT and HBT organizations, including the culture of death, are essential in forming self- and collective identity and solidarity of Chinese community groups in the city of Padang.
