Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to improve early childhood cognitive development through the media of gardening activities through a local wisdom-based nature center at Kasih Ibu Kertek Kindergarten, Wonosobo. Knowing learning gardening activities from preparing planting media to how to care for plants. The type of research used is field qualitative research. The research subjects were group B students in Kindergarten Ibu Kartek Wonosobo. Methods of data collection carried out by researchers using: Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results showed: (1) Learning gardening activities can improve cognitive skills in Kindergarten Kasih Ibu Kertek by 12.6%. (2) The benefits of gardening activities are that children are able to know the types of plants, children are able to observe the process of plant growth from seeds to the growth of leaves, children are able to apply gardening activities. (3) The supporting factor for gardening activities is the presence of empty land in the school yard so that it can be used for learning, while the inhibiting factor is that children are afraid of getting dirty, complain easily and get tired easily when outside because they are exposed to direct sun but many children also passion when learning gardening. The conclusion of this study is that gardening activities through nature centers as local wisdom-based learning can improve the cognitive development of early childhood in the Kindergarten of Kasih Ibu Kertek Wonosobo. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of market orientation and product innovation on purchasing decisions in companies in Gresik. This research was included in quantitative research and the customers who transacted in gresik were the population in the study. The technique of calculating the number of samples uses non-probability sampling. This study sample used customers who ordered the product to contribute to becoming research participants. Data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires. Some of the data analysis methods used are validity and reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient testing. The results of its tests, it has been established that market orientation influences purchasing decisions, while product innovation influences purchasing decisions. The test results show that market orientation and product innovation simultaneously influence product purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The growth and development of early childhood is a shared responsibility between parents and PAUD institutions, for this reason the importance of the partnership program between parents and PAUD institutions is an effort to accelerate the formation of children's character. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the parent partnership program that has been implemented in the PAUD institution in Wonosobo district. The research was carried out using the survey method in collecting data through observation sheets and unstructured interviews which were used to strengthen information obtained from information sources, the samples used in this study were 9 (nine) PAUD institutions with information subjects being teachers & school principals, Guardians & Students in each sample. The results of this study are that parent-parent partnership activities have been carried out but there are deficiencies that disrupt the process, most of which come from parents of students, so that there is a need for support from all parties, both from parents, PAUD institutions, the government, the Ministry of Education and related offices, Village/Kelurahan Government officials, as well as Workplace Agencies to be able to support the program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the value of the moral education of the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab in the fifth grade SKI book at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah, how relevant the value of moral education of the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab is today, and the importance of moral education from an early age. This research is a type of qualitative research in the nature of library research. There are two data sources used, namely the primary data source, namely the book History of Islamic Culture for the fifth grade of Madrasah Ibtida'iyah. Then secondary data is data that provides information to data collectors indirectly, for example through other people or documents, as well as other books related to moral education and the history of Islamic culture. The data collection technique is by collecting materials that are relevant to the research and supported by other data sources that are considered to be closely related to this research. Next, data analysis in this research uses content analysis and then conclusions are drawn. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that. The moral education values that can be taken from the Caliphate of Umar bin Khattab are honesty and trustworthiness, responsibility, caring for others, simplicity, fairness and firmness, and being firm in keeping promises. The relevance of moral education from the time of Caliph Umar until now is that it is responsive to public complaints and the culture of queuing. Abstract

Social media plays an active role in providing positive and negative impacts on young people. According to Jannah (2020), as many as 48% or 130 million of the human population on earth use social media. Young people use social media to communicate and exchange information. By using qualitative research methods, it is hoped that the goals of students know that PIK-R exists as a forum for counseling. Salmiati, Hasbahudin in 2018 said that mentoring and counseling are strategies for solving student problems at school. Coupled with peer counselors who can help optimize counselor performance. However, in this study, the researchers found that there were students who did not know the role, function, or even extracurricular activities of PIK-R.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik menyelesaikan soal aljabar menggunakan indikator gabungan berpikir kritis Facione dan tahapan Newman. Subjek terdiri dari 29 peserta didik dan hanya 6 peserta didik yang diwawancara serta di analisis berdasarkan kategori berpikir kritis tingkat tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes, wawancara, dan catatan lapangan. Triangulasi metode digunakan untuk pengecekan keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pencapaian indikator gabungan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tahapan Newman yang diperoleh dari peserta didik yang paling tinggi yaitu indikator menginterpretasi, membaca, dan memahami sebesar 89%. Sedangkan undikator yang paling rendah adalah menginferensi dan penulisan 46%. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' critical thinking skills in solving algebraic problems using the combined indicators of Facione's critical thinking and Newman's stages. The subjects consisted of 29 students and only 6 students were interviewed and analyzed based on high, medium, and low critical thinking categories. The collection of data used in this study includes tests, interviews, and field notes. The triangulation method is used to check the validity of the data. The results of the study showed that the combined indicator achievement of critical thinking skills and Newman's stage was obtained from the highest students, namely interpretation, reading, and understanding indicators of 89%. While the lowest indicators are inference and writing 46%.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach which aims to determine the application of the discovery learning model to the subject of blocks and cubes to increase the conceptual understanding of class VIII students at SMP PGRI 02 Pakisaji. The subjects in this research were 16 students in class VIII for the 2023 school year. The data used are: concept understanding test results, observation results, interview results, and field notes. The data collection steps used in this research are: providing a concept understanding pretest, providing discovery learning and observation, concept understanding posttest, four interviews. The data analysis used in this research is: data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The research results showed that the percentage of students' understanding of mathematical concepts increased from 9.95% in cycle I to 31.8% in cycle 2 with a KKM ≥70. Teacher and student activity during learning obtained a total average of 66% in cycle I, increasing to 88% in cycle II and student activity during learning obtained a score of 50% in cycle I, increasing to 85% in cycle II. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that Discovery Learning can improve students' understanding of concepts in class VIII

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between work-family conflict and the performance of female workers. This work employs a quantitative-correlational research methodology. This study distributed a Likert scale questionnaire through the Google Form platform as the data collection method. A correlation coefficient of 0.736 from the Rank Spearman association hypothesis test shows that there is a strong positive relationship between the work-family conflict variable and the performance of female workers. Moreover, the p-value is below 0.05 (particularly 0.037), suggesting a statistically significant association between Variable X (work-family conflict) and Variable Y (performance conflict among female workers). The motivation behind this research stems from the findings of researchers at PT. X, which indicate that married female professionals encounter challenges in balancing their household and public responsibilities.

Abstract

Bakso merupakan makanan yang disukai semua orang sehingga membawa dampak positif untuk membuka usaha. Kemampuan mitra sebagai pengusaha bakso belum mempunyai keterampilan yang baik terkait manajemen usaha terutama keuangan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pelatihan pada mitra terkait manajemen usaha bakso sehingga dapat mengembangkan usahanya. Target yang ingin dicapai dalam pengabdian ini antara lain: a) keterampilan mitra terkait manajemen keuangan mengalami peningkatan, dan b) mitra dapat mengembangkan usahanya. Metode yang ditawarkan pada pengabdian ini antara lain diskusi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Diskusi untuk mengetahui permasalahan mitra. Pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mitra. Evaluasi untuk mengetahui kekurangan kegiatan pengabdian sehingga bisa diberikan tindak lanjutnya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan mitra sangat antusias dan senang dengan adanya pelatihan manajemen usaha. Kemampuan serta keterampilan manajemen keuangan mitra setelah mengikuti pelatihan juga ada peningkatan berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan hasil angket respon mitra. Mitra diharapkan dapat mengembangkan usaha bakso dengan berbagai inovasi varian rasa yang lebih lengkap. Selain itu mitra juga menghendaki adanya pelatihan lanjutan untuk materi yang berbeda.

Abstract

Desa Wonokerso, Kecamatan Pakisaji memiliki lahan pertanian dan perkebunan dengan komoditi utamanya adalah tanaman padi, jagung dan tebu. Limbah dari hasil pertanian terutama limbah tanaman padi masih banyak yang belum termanfaatkan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mensosialisasikan dan dan mendemonstrasikan pengolahan limbah jerami padi dengan menggunakan metode bioteknologi fermentasi untuk pakan ternak ruminansia (sapi, kambing, dan domba). Khalayak sasaran kegiatan ini kelompok peternak desa Wonokerso. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi, demonstrasi, dan evaluasi.  Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan diketahui bahwa 1) masyarakat petani dan peternak desa Wonokerso mulai memahami keuntungan menggunakan fermentasi jerami sebagai pakan ternak, 2) peternak mulai tertarik untuk membuat dan mencoba memberikan fermentasi Jerami sebagai pakan ternak.
