Abstract

THE IMPACT OF TEACHER EXEMPLARINESS AND COMPETENCE ON STUDENTS' LEARNING MOTIVATION THROUGH CHARACTER EDUCATIONThis research aims to examine the impact of teacher exemplariness and competence on students' learning motivation through character education, with a focus on the implementation of the honesty canteen program at SDN Kawung Luwuk. In the National Mental Revolution Movement (GNRM), character education is a primary concern to strengthen students' character. Teachers play an important role in setting a good example and designing engaging learning experiences. This research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach and involves interviews and observations as data collection techniques. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the honesty canteen program at SDN Kawung Luwuk aligns with the school's vision and mission and successfully influences students' learning motivation. Competent teachers who exemplify good behavior play a crucial role in creating a positive learning environment. Students also demonstrate an improvement in their sense of responsibility and integrity. Additionally, the discipline applied in learning and the implementation of moral values through the honesty canteen program contribute to enhancing students' learning motivation. This research provides a better understanding of the importance of character education in shaping students' character and improving their learning motivation. The honesty canteen program at SDN Kawung Luwuk serves as a successful implementation example of character education, which is expected to inspire other schools to develop students' character and enhance their learning motivation.

Abstract

The reality in the field is that a person who works as a teacher has not committed to his profession; Just like there are still teachers who teach more than one school, there are still teachers who do additional tasks besides teaching, and so on. This study examines the Improvement of Teacher Professional Commitment Through Strengthening Empowerment, Compensation, and Self-Efficacy (Correlation Study and SITOREM Analysis on Permanent Teachers of Private Junior High Schools (GTY) in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency). This research method is quantitative. The study showed that the research positively influenced empowerment (X1) with teacher innovation. (2) Then, the research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence of compensation on teacher professional commitment; (3) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of self-efficacy on the commitment of the teacher profession; (4) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment and compensation on teacher professional commitment; (5) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment and self-efficacy on professional commitment; (6) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of compensation and self-efficacy on teacher professional commitment; and (7) Based on the research hypothesis, there is a positive influence of empowerment, compensation, and self-efficacy together on teacher professional commitment.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study analyzes the protection of workers' rights in the Indonesian Manpower Law, focusing on basic workers' rights, implementation challenges, and recommendations for improving effectiveness. The method used is normative juridical with qualitative data analysis. The study results indicate that although labor regulations are available, their implementation is still weak. Minimum wages are often unmet, especially in the informal sector, due to weak supervision and low worker awareness of their rights. Social security is hampered by low company compliance and administrative constraints, while occupational safety and health (K3) standards are poorly implemented, as seen from the high number of work accidents. The right to leave, rest time, and freedom of association are also often ignored, with union busting still rampant. This study recommends stricter supervision, increased worker literacy, and collaboration between the government, employers, and trade unions to improve the implementation of regulations. These steps are expected to enhance the protection of workers' rights, support their welfare, and encourage sustainable economic growth. Keywords : Protection, Workers' Rights, Employment Law.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan cara dan strategi baru untuk meningkatkan inovasi guru dengan mengkaji variabel lain yang berhubungan positif dengan inovasi guru. Variabelnya adalah motivasi berprestasi, kerjasama kelompok, dan iklim organisasi. Cara dan strategi baru dalam meningkatkan inovasi guru yang ditemukan kemudian dijadikan rekomendasi kepada pihak terkait yaitu Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, Pengawas Sekolah, Kepala Sekolah, dan Guru. Sampel yang dipilih berjumlah 183 orang melalui multistage random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Kuantitatif dengan pemodelan Analisis Korelasi dan dilanjutkan dengan analisis SITOREM. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan positif langsung antara motivasi berprestasi dengan inovasi guru dengan nilai ry1 0,991, (2) Terdapat hubungan positif langsung antara kerjasama kelompok dengan inovasi guru dengan nilai ry2 = 0,982, (3) Terdapat hubungan langsung Terdapat hubungan positif antara iklim organisasi dengan inovasi guru dengan nilai ry3 = 0,986, (4) Terdapat hubungan langsung positif antara motivasi berprestasi dan kolaborasi kelompok dengan inovasi guru dengan nilai ry12 = 0,992, (5) Terdapat hubungan positif langsung antara motivasi berprestasi dan iklim organisasi dengan keinovatifan guru dengan nilai ry13 = 0,992, (6) Terdapat hubungan positif langsung antara kolaborasi kelompok dan iklim organisasi   Kata Kunci : Motivasi berprestasi, Team work, Iklim Organisasi, Keinovatifan guru, Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low motivation and learning outcomes of students in elementary schools and aims to determine trends in artificial intelligence-based research and implementation as well as the influence of artificial intelligence on students' motivation and learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research method used is the SLR method by the PRISMA. This research was conducted through the PoP application with the database used is Google Scholar 2018-2023 with the keyword "artificial intelligence, elementary school". The subjects of this study are articles that have screening and have been included. The stages of research was identification, screening, Eligibility Process, include, and analysis. The collection technique uses excel application analysis table. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the kecenderungand of research on AI in elementary schools 2018-2023 found that the number of article publications in that span of years has increased, while the number of citations applies the opposite. The use of AI applications can significantly improve the motivation and students learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article aims to identify publications on the teacher leadership theme comprehensively. The publication data is from articles, reviews, and English and comes from the Scopus database from 1993 to 2022. The keyword used in the data search is "teacher leadership." The investigation found 753 documents later used as the basis for conducting Bibliometric studies.   This Bibliometric analysis method uses Vosviewer software. All data is classified by trend; country; organization; source; author, relationship between authors; and teacher leadership research hotspots which were then analyzed using the Vosviewer software. The main findings of the study include: the trend of teacher leadership publication continues to increase, and the future direction of teacher leadership research will concern two domains, namely: new word/phrase domains connected to teacher leadership, such as COVID, leadership style, self-efficacy, diversity, school principal, evidence,  professional learning, community; and domain teacher leadership research processes or methods such as mix-method, instrument, questionnaire, and data processing. The findings of this study can be used as one of the materials for making decisions related to improving teacher leadership publications.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate and describe the variables that positively influence teachers' OCB so that if the variable is improved, the OCB will increase. This research method begins with determining the conceptual model of teacher OCB, organizational trust, and job satisfaction, whose model is built based on logical validity, concepts, theories, and previous research. Then the conceptual model was tested using path analysis on SMART PLS. This research was conducted at private senior high schools in West Java, Indonesia; the number of samples was 256, determined through multistage proportional random sampling. The findings of this research are: organizational trust affects teacher OCB; organizational trust affects job satisfaction; job satisfaction affects teacher OCB; organizational trust has a positive and significant indirect effect on teacher OCB. This research implies that improving teachers' OCB can be done through improving organizational trust and job satisfaction, including strengthening environmental influences, demonstrating integrity, competence, and policies of the school, improving welfare payments, promotion, supervision, and improving the work atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the future of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) research and publication by looking at trends, countries, institutions, authors, and hotspots in education. This research method uses a literature review with a flow of gathering, filtering, bibliometric, mapping, and reviewing data sources from the Scopus index database amounting to 222 documents. This study uses data analysis based on the Vosviewer software. The study's findings showed that the trend of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) research continues to grow. Globalization and the advancement of communication technology encourage teachers to develop teaching skills using CRT-oriented pedagogics. The concept and implementation of CRT in learning are still dominated by the most productive countries, organizations, and figures in the United States. This is a challenge for any country, especially Indonesia, which is multicultural. To increase research and publications in the field of CRT, the increase in teachers' awareness of cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity, Mastery of various multimodal teaching, and taking teaching resources from the local cultural context require serious attention together. The hotspots that can be done for future CRT research are directed at terms or variables that have not been explored much, such as pre-service teacher, self-efficacy, CRT practice, impact, STEM, class, instruction, disability, work, equity, implementation, and technology.

Abstract

Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) aimed at developing Assemblr Edu learning media and improving learning outcomes, especially in spatial geometry material. Validation of learning media was carried out by four experts, namely media experts, language experts, lecturer material experts, and teacher material experts. There is an average media validation result of 90%, language validation of 92.7%, material validation by lecturers of 96.6%, and material validation by teachers of 88% with an average overall result of 91.8% with very feasible criteria. There is an N-Gain value with an average score of 0.83 with high criteria. There are student questionnaire response results with an average of 90.8% with very good criteria and teacher questionnaire responses of 88.3% with very good criteria. The results can be concluded that learning media using the Assemblr Edu platform is very feasible and effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in mathematical spatial geometry material.
