Abstract

Teachers play a central role in shaping national character, particularly in multicultural societies such as Indonesia. Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) has emerged as an approach that effectivelyintegrates students’ cultural backgrounds into the learning process. However, challenges remain in its implementation at the elementary level, including limited teacher understanding, insufficient culturally relevant materials, and inconsistent integration of local culture into curricula. This study aims to analyze current practices of CRT in Indonesian primary schools and propose a new direction for its implementation. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 25 articles (2020–2024) sourced from Google Scholar and GARUDA was conducted using PRISMA guidelines. Thematic synthesis reveals five dominant themes: (1) enhanced student engagement, (2) cultural relevance in character education, (3) teacher–studentcollaboration, (4) supportive school environment, and (5) strengthening of 21st-century skills. The review recommends that CRT at the primary level must prioritize contextual learning grounded in students’sociocultural realities and position culture as a learning resource to prevent marginalization and foster intercultural respect.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility and effectiveness of interactive E-LKPD assisted by Wizer.me as a solution to the low student motivation caused by the use of monotonous conventional LKPD. This research uses the research and development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects involved three expert validators, a teacher, and 30 fifth-grade students from SDN Citayam 1. Data were collected through validation sheets, user response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test). The research results show that the developed product is deemed highly suitable for use, with an average expert validation score of 96%. User responses were also very positive, with scores of 84% from teachers and 91% from students. The product's effectiveness in improving learning outcomes was proven to be high, with an N-Gain score of 0.71. It is concluded that the Wizer.me-assisted E-LKPD is a valid, practical, and effective learning medium to enhance student motivation and learning outcomes in IPAS education at elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the positive correlation of situational leadership and self-efficacy with the improvement of teacher work productivity. The quantitative method with correlation analysis were employed, furthermore the Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM) was applied to determine the priorities. The population includes all the elementary school teachers which are civil servants (PNS) in Bogor, Indonesia while 105 were selected as samples. The findings showed there is a positive correlation between situational leadership and teacher work productivity with a correlation coefficient of 0.783, and between self-efficacy and teacher work productivity with 0.782. This, therefore, means these two factors are influential in increasing the productivity of teachers. The novelty of this research was the use of SITOREM to highlight 7 indicators prioritized to be improved including leader behavior, delegation, direction, teacher achievement, facility use, efficiency, and managerial ability.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan kebijakan Pemerintah Indonesia dalam kesiapan peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar pada implementasi kurikulum baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan kajian literatur terkait implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan tantangannya. Metode penelitian yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Literature Review. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mendokumentasikan dan mereview seluruh artikel terkait dengan implementasi kurikulum merdeka dan tantangannya yang diterbitkan tahun 2021 – 2023 dengan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ditemukan dan setelah diseleksi yang memenuhi kriteria untuk dianalisis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat tantangan dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka diantaranya: (1) sarana prasarana yang belum menunjang; (2) SDM guru yang perlu ditingkatkan dalam penggunaan teknologi; (3) masih kesulitan dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran; (4) kondisi siswa, orang tua, dan lingkungan; serta (5) ketimpangan kebijakan pemerintah.  Simpulan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan pendidikan.

Abstract

Saat ini STEM banyak digunakan untuk meningkatkan berbagai kompetensi. Salah satunya kompetensi berpikir kritis siswa sekaligus untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran di abad 21. Pembelajaran STEM dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam empat bidang pengetahuan, yaitu keterampilan sains, keterampilan pengoperasian teknologi, pemecahan permasalahan secara teknis, dan keterampilan pada matematika. Namun pencapaian semua kompetensi tersebut haruslah dibarengi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis sebagai mother of competence dari kompetensi utama dalam empat kompetensi di abad 21. Tujuan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis STEM yang dilakukan di sekolah, lalu bagaimana hasil yang didapatkan dari penerapan STEM tersebut terhadap siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ilmiah ini ialah dengan studi kajian literatur dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Kajian literatur ini dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengevaluasi serta menafsirkan penelitian yang fokus pada topik penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil temuan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa STEM dapat meningkatkan perkembangan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah, keterampilan komunikasi, kreativitas, analisis sebuah pengetahuan dan kolaborasi. Selain itu dari kajian jurnal yang di review juga menunjukkan bahwa STEM bisa mengantarkan siswa untuk bisa memiliki keterampilan hidup yang dibutuhkan di abad sekarang, karena STEM dikenal dapat meningkatkan perkembangan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah, keterampilan komunikasi, kreativitas, analisis dan kolaborasi intelektual, yang dapat dianggap sebagai keterampilan siswa abad ke 21 yaitu 4C (Critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity yang tentunya dibutuhkan oleh siswa di abad 21.

Abstract

Integrating the concepts of nature and the times into learning is a crucial foundation for creating education that is relevant to students' needs and current developments. Learning in accordance with nature, which takes into account student characteristics and instills social and cultural values, can support the development of multicultural competencies and sustainability literacy. Learning in accordance with the times facilitates the use of digital technology in learning media. The study aims to develop a digital comic based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) to improve multicultural competence and sustainability literacy in elementary school students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The research design used was a one-group pretest-posttest. The research subjects were 30 fourth-grade students at an elementary school in Bogor Regency. The results of expert validation showed that the media was in the very feasible category, with 100% of media experts, 97% of material experts, and 98% of language experts. The results of the N-Gain test showed an increase in multicultural competence of 0.5825 and sustainability literacy of 0.6430 in the moderate category. Teacher and student responses indicated that the media was very practical. Thus, digital comics grounded in Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) are deemed feasible and practical for learning and highly effective in improving multicultural competence and sustainability literacy. This media can be an alternative solution for teachers in creating learning that is contextual and relevant to students' lives.
