Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efekktivitas konseling kelompok rational emotive behavior (REB)  dengan teknik dispute Irrational Beliefs (DIBS) berbasis ayat Al Qur’an untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan waktu siswa di SMAN3 Probolinggo. Perspektif perilaku emosional rasional (REB) dengan memperkuat ayat-ayat Alquran. Sasaran penelitian SMAN 3 Probolinggo class XI dengan delapan kelas paralel sejumlah 275 siswa. Desain penelitian adalah quasi-eksperimen, dengan kelompok eksperimen dan Kontrol disusun oleh peneliti mengacu pada teori kedisiplinan waktu Corey dikembangkan oleh peneliti sesuai dengan konteks kedisiplinan waktu siswa perspektif REBT (empat pandangan Irrational Belief dari Elis): 1) Low Frustration Tolerance, 2) Catastrophising, 3) Demandingnes, dan 4) Self Depreciation. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala kedisiplinan waktu. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxon didapatkan bahwa nilai sig. 0,043 dan hasil uji mann whitney adalah sig. 0.138. hasil analisis tersebut didapatkan teknik dispute Irrational Beliefs (DIBS) berbasis ayat Al Qur’an efektif untuk meningkatkan disiplin waktu siswa SMAN 3 Probolinggo. Abstract

Empati adalah kapasitas afektif dalam memahami perasaan orang lain disertai kemampuan kognitif untuk memahami perspektif orang lain serta kemampuan mengkomunikasikan perasaan dan pemahamannya secara empatik terhadap orang lain baik dengan verbal maupun non verbal. Dalam terjadinya tindakan perundungan yang berperan tidak hanya pelaku dan korban saja, melainkan ada bystander dalam kejadian bullying. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik biblioedukasi bermuatan nilai-nilai budaya hasthalaku untuk mengembangkan empati bystander bullying siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan nonequivalent control group design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan Hasil uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok eksperimen yaitu sebesar 0,027 < 0.05 dan pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 0.028 < 0.05. Penggunaan biblioedukasi bermuatan nilai-nilai budaya Hasthalaku membantu mengkonstruksi kognisi individu dalam memahami dirinya sendiri dengan bantuan informasi yang di dapat dalam bahan bacaan dan teks menarik dari nilai budaya Hasthalaku. Kata kunci: bimbingan kelompok, teknik bibilioedukasi, empati. nilai budaya hasthalaku

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Komunikasi efektif yang sulit diterapkan oleh siswa menyebabkan siswa masih seringnya berbohong, menggunakan kalimat sarkasme atau sindiran yang merendahkan, kurang bisa menghargai lawan bicara dan mengeluarkan kata-kata kotor baik siswa laki-laki maupun perempuan. Di sisi lain komunikasi juga menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan dan sebagai bentuk tindakan untuk membangun hubungan sosial dengan orang lain. Penelitin ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis independent sample t-test. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 130, 65 siswa perempuan dan 65 siswa laki-laki dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling dalam pengambilan sampel. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa laki-laki dengan perempuan. Namun, guru dan stakeholder pendidikan perlu menyadari temuan ini dan mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang mendukung perkembangan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal bagi kedua jenis kelamin.

Abstract

Burnout akademik merupakan sebuah kondisi yang dapat berdampak negatif pada para pelajar, baik secara akademik, pribadi, maupun sosial. Pencegahan terhadap dampak lanjutan yang tidak diinginkan melalui sebuah identifikasi dini. School Burnout Inventory merupakan salah satu instrumen berbahasa Inggris yang efektif untuk melakukan identifikasi dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas dan reliabilitas School Burnout Inventory versi Bahasa Indonesia dalam konteks program sarjana, serta menguji jumlah faktor yang membentuknya. Proses adaptasi School Burnout Inventory dilakukan dengan menerjemahkannya ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan menyesuaikannya dengan konteks pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Uji kesahihan terjemahan oleh ahli bahasa dan pakar dalam bidang burnout. Instrumen yang telah diadaptasi, disebarkan kepada 542 mahasiswa program sarjana (126 laki-laki dan 416 perempuan), yang dipilih secara acak secara online dan offline. Analisis data menggunakan analisis faktor eksploratori dan alpha Cronbach. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa School Burnout Inventory versi Bahasa Indonesia, sebagai keseluruhan instrumen maupun sebagai item per item, telah memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas yang ditetapkan. Hasil pemfaktoran juga menunjukkan bahwa inventori ini dibentuk oleh dua faktor, di mana Item 1, 3, 4, 7, dan 9 terbentuk dari faktor 1 (kelelahan emosional) dan item 2, 5, 6, dan 8 terbentuk dari faktor 2 (sinisme). Dengan demikian, hasil tersebut mengeliminasi faktor 3 (penurunan pencapaian personal) yang tidak memiliki dukungan empiris yang memadai. The validation of School Burnout Inventory-Indonesian versionAcademic burnout can have negative effects on students both academically, personally, and socially. Therefore, early identification of this type of burnout is necessary to prevent further undesirable effects. The School Burnout Inventory is one of the English-language assessment tools to identify the academic burnout of students. The research aims to test the validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of the inventory in the context of the undergraduate program and to investigate its factor structure. The inventory adaptation process is carried out by translating it into Bahasa Indonesia and replacing certain technical terms with other terms that are better suited to the undergraduate context. The translation was evaluated for validity by asking for the judgment of a linguist and a burnout expert. The adapted instrument was then distributed online and offline to research subjects.  A  total of 542 undergraduate students (126 males     and 416 females) were selected at random to participate in the study. Exploratory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha were used to analyze the research data. The results showed that the School Burnout Inventory, as a whole inventory or as items, is valid and reliable. It was also found that the School Burnout Inventory comprises two factors, which items 1, 3, 4, 7, and 9 are derived from factor 1 (emotional exhaustion), while items 2, 5, 6, and 8 are from factor 2 (cynism). The results further suggest that factor 3 (personal inadequacy) needs to be excluded due to a lack of empirical evidence.

Abstract

One of the periods of growth and development that individuals will face is adolescence. Adolescence can be referred to as a period of identity search, where adolescents are required to develop self-awareness. This is especially true for students, who live their lives according to strong Islamic and social values. Students with low self-awareness face difficulties in daily life, struggling to recognize and reflect on their strengths. In addition, violations of the cottage such as leaving during class time, choosing to go to the canteen during class time and smoking behavior in the canteen are still widely seen. The purpose of this study is to develop the ROPUTRAS (Spinning Wheel of students Self-Awareness) game as a tool to enhance self-awareness among MTs students. The research and development procedure adopts the ADDIE model, implemented in five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of expert and potential user evaluations were analyzed using the Inter-rater-agreement method. Additionally, the effectiveness test used the Wilcoxon signed-rank test analysis. Based on the validation results by subject matter experts, media experts, and potential users, it can be concluded that this guide has very high validity, referring to the aspect of acceptability. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ROPUTRAS game media product for developing self-awareness among MTs students is suitable for use. Abstract

Previous studies have shown that irrational beliefs contribute significantly to the procrastination, including the thesis-writing procrastination. Unfortunately, there are no scales that specifically can measure the beliefs in the thesis writing context. Therefore, this study aimed to develop and validate a scale called the Skala Keyakinan Irasional dalam Penyusunan Skripsi (SKI-S). The scale was developed based on irrational belief construct proposed by Albert Ellis in the context of thesis writing. To achieve the aim, the study applied a research and development design involving four steps: (1) defining the construct; (2) developing the measurement model; (3) carrying out confirmatory factor analysis; and (4) checking the validity of the measurement model. 200 undergraduate students taking their 9th to 14th semester were involved in the study. 86 items were successfully validated which were classified into demandingness subscale (16 items); catastrophizing subscale (20 items); self-depreciation subscale (17 items); and low frustration tolerance subscales (20 items).

Abstract

This study uses a medical center in Taiwan as an example to analyze medical staff’s emotional exhaustion by independent sample t test and analysis of variance. Eight out of ten demographic variables are considered as essential variables to influence emotional exhaustion excluding respondents reporting events in the past 12 months and job status. The results show that female employees and employees who are not supervisors/managers tend to have higher burnout. Employees whose ages are 21–30, 31–40, and 41–50 years old also have a higher degree of fatigue. In addition, nurses are more stressful than the others in this medical center. The detailed post hoc analyses enable hospital management to identify employees with high burnout. Finally, this study also provides some recommendations to help hospital management reduce employees’ burnout.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an educational cinema guide with a blended learning model to reduce academic procrastination of high school students who meet the acceptance criteria, including accuracy, usefulness, attractiveness, and convenience through material expert tests, media expert tests, and prospective users tests. This study adapts the development research design of Borg and Gall. The data generated are quantitative data and descriptive data. Quantitative data analysis used the inter-rater agreement model technique from Gregory. Descriptive data analysis was carried out by collecting criticism and input from experts and potential users, then used as material for product revision. The results of this product data analysis got a validation index from two material experts with a score of 1.00, two media experts got a score of 1.00, and two potential users got a score of 1.00, which means that all tests carried out have a very high validation index and fulfills the elements of acceptability, namely aspects of accuracy, usefulness, attractiveness, and convenience. This result means that the developed guide has been accepted and is suitable for school counselors to reduce the level of academic procrastination of high school students.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the solution focused brief group counseling approach on academic procrastination. This quantitative research using quasi-experimental research design. The research design used was a pretest-posttest with a control group design. The research population is all public junior high school 6 Malang eighth-grade students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research sample was obtained through a purposive sampling of 8 students and divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument used is the Academic Procrastination Scale. Data analysis was used to test the differences in academic procrastination before and after being given short, solution-focused counseling, namely the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of the data analysis show that the significance value is 0.02 less than 0.05, meaning that the research hypothesis is accepted. So short group counseling focused on solutions significantly reduces academic procrastination in eighth-grade students. The results of the research can be used as an alternative to help solve student problems in counseling services, especially related to reducing academic procrastination.

Abstract

Kecemasan terhadap masa depan, finansial dan perkerjaan, kurangnya kepercayaan diri, keraguan dalam memutuskan pilihan, tertekan dengan tuntutan lingkungan, serta seringkali terlibat dalam permasalahan hubungan dengan orang terdekat menyebabkan quarter life crisis yang berpengaruh pada kesehatan mental individu. Faktor penyebabnya yaitu dari internal (regulasi emosi) dan eksternal (dukungan sosial. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan regulasi emosi dengan quarter life crisis. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan penelitian korelasional. Sampel penelitian sejumlah 175 mahasiswa, menggunakan metode simple random sampling dalam pengambilan sampel. Teknik analisis dengan analisis korelasi berganda. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala dukungan sosial, skala regulasi emosi, dan skala quarter life crisis ketiganya sudah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian uji korelasi berganda menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.00 terhadap hubungan X1 (dukungan sosial) dan Y (quarter life crisis) maka ada hubungan antar keduanya, lalu pada hubungan X2 (regulasi emosi) dan Y (quarter life crisis) menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,395 maka tidak ada hubungan signifikan antar keduanya, sedangkan hubungan X1 dan X2 dengan Y menunjukkan signifikansi 0,00 maka terdapat hubungan secara simultan antar ketiganya.
