Abstract

This community service is carried out to help schools in villages that are not facilitated in learning so that they can improve the abilities of students in villages and schools. Schools in this village are schools that are quite difficult to reach by the wider community because access is quite limited. In addition, the level of attendance of students who are not too high is also a problem in terms of learning. Based on the results of interviews with teachers who teach mathematics at SDN 3 Sungai Buluh that students who study are more emphasized on basic abilities such as reading, writing and arithmetic to support their abilities later. The purpose of this community service is to provide assistance in learning mathematics. The aim is to improve students' ability to count. The method used in this service is descriptive qualitative with assistance to a target group. Learning assistance is carried out directly to students at SDN 3 Sungai Buluh using the Number Head Together cooperative model with arithmetic materials such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication. The results of the final test of the numeracy learning assistance showed that the results of students' numeracy skills increased compared to before. Students are very enthusiastic about participating in tutoring as shown by students asking for additional questions to work on. Students' motivation to learn mathematics also increased, students stated that counting in mathematics was fun.

Abstract

This study aims to identify human resource (HR) empowerment strategies in educational management, focusing on optimizing individual potential to achieve sustainable educational goals. The research employs a case study method with a descriptive qualitative approach, gathering data through observation, interviews, and documentation at the Mujahidin Foundation. The findings reveal that HR empowerment not only requires strengthening individuals but also necessitates close coordination and collaboration among educational elements, including teachers, staff, and management. The implementation of a holistic and integrated empowerment strategy is key to creating an educational system that can endure and evolve with the changing dynamics of modern society. In conclusion, the success of HR empowerment in the context of educational management depends on a comprehensive approach that considers not only individual aspects but also integrates all educational elements to achieve broader and sustainable educational objectives.

Abstract

A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering enhances one's capacity to adapt both hard and soft skills in the classroom and at work to the quick changes in technology and increasing competitiveness in the professional world. This motivates an individual who has graduated from chemical engineering to enhance the caliber of their work. Technology for simulation programming is one of the hard skills he needs to possess. In the realm of chemical engineering, these abilities encompass not only using Microsoft Office but also making objects work with other software. Through theoretical research on cases in the process industry, the simulation program is used. Prioritizing the operational foundation of an application is essential for work in the chemical sector. It is recommended that a graduate of chemical engineering possess software capabilities in order to facilitate their employment in the workforce. Basic requirements and increased proficiency can be supported by theoretical and data processing techniques. This article discusses the need for software skills in the field of chemical engineering, such as Aspen HYSYS, Matlab, AutoCAD P&ID, and Scilab, using a literature study methodology. This endeavor is a method of looking through library data for pertinent articles and then delving deeper into an article's content. The purpose of this article review is to balance hard and soft skills in order to determine how software is used in the field of chemical engineering and what is required in the chemical industry.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The current research aims to determine student learning outcomes in class VII which are improved through the application of a decision-making model, namely the consideration model. Methodology: This research uses the classroom action research method, the sample involved in this research is class VII students. There are several research procedures that will be carried out, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The quantitative data analysis technique is descriptive statistical analysis, while qualitative data is assessed verbally when observing the learning process. Main Findings: Based on the results of research and descriptive analysis, the average value of mathematics learning outcomes after implementing the Consideration Model in cycle I was 64.80. Meanwhile, the average value of learning outcomes after implementing the Consideration Model in cycle II was 77.83. Class VII students' mathematics learning outcomes have increased. This increase is caused by the learning techniques used which can increase student activity and reduce student tension in learning mathematics. Novelty/Originality of this study: Previous research aimed to determine the model of consideration and value clarification in improving affective abilities. Meanwhile, this research is new in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes through the consideration model.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize solar power generation at Tanjungpura University's Bralian Merdeka Yanuar Building by harnessing solar energy as a renewable resource. Indonesia, being near the equator with abundant solar radiation, holds significant potential for solar energy utilization. The main goal is to design and implement a 1.51 MWp capacity Solar Power Plant at the building to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and minimize carbon emissions on campus. The study utilizes a descriptive-analytical method, conducting literature reviews, site surveys, and electricity generation calculations using PVSyst software. Solar radiation data, electricity consumption, and building energy requirements guide the analysis. The SPP, comprising 2800 solar panels and 12 inverters, can effectively meet the Bralian Merdeka Yanuar Building's electricity needs. This research highlights solar energy's potential as a renewable resource to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy independence. Successful SPP implementation serves as an alternative to fulfill the building's electricity demands, The azimuth and tilt angles significantly influence the electricity production of the Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant built to meet the electricity needs of the building. The study deepens understanding of solar energy potential and its benefits in electricity generation for Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of based management and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the principal's strategy towards the implementation of school-based management. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis with stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the SWOT analysis can be understood; Strength at State Junior High School 1 Darul Imarah, each member of the school has their own advantages, as the main capital for the school. Meanwhile, Darul Imarah State Junior High School 2 can collaborate, build communication, and share with each other. Weaknesses at State Junior High School 1 Darul principal in implementing School Based Management are still not optimal, because there are still many things that need to be considered, various learning media have not been fulfilled because there are still many other needs that must be prioritized. Opportunities for State Junior High School 1 Darul Imarah are the level of success in producing a quality generation and being able to compete to enter well-known schools. State Junior High School 2 Darul Imarah provided a positive response from every school member, information, and outreach regarding educational programs. Threats of Darul Imarah State Junior High School 1 still have many programs that have not been achieved. Meanwhile, at State Junior High School 2 Darul Imarah there are still several school members who raise pros and cons regarding the rules that have been set
