Abstract

This study aims to produce strategies and ways to strengthen service leadership by analyzing the effect of other variables on servant leadership. The other variables are adversity intelligence, proactive personality, work commitment, team work and work motivation. The research begins by conducting qualitative research to explore factors that are thought to have a positive and dominant influence on the resources to be strengthened. Based on the factors or variables found, the constellation of the effects of these variables on the resources will be strengthened so as to produce research hypotheses. The research hypothesis at the qualitative research stage is then tested using path analysis at the quantitative research stage. The informants in the qualitative research were 16 (sixteen) principals from vocational schools who were the sample sources of research data. Based on the results of the analysis, discussion of research results and hypotheses that have been tested, it can be concluded as follows: Strengthening service leadership can be done by developing adversity intelligence, proactive personality, and teamwork as exogenous variables by increasing commitment to the organization and work motivation as intervening variables. From the qualitative research conducted, it was found that other variables that have a positive and dominant influence on service leadership, namely adversity intelligence, proactive personality, teamwork, commitment to the organization and work motivation

Abstract

The objective of the research is about finding strategies of teacher’s innovativeness by using POP SDM method where it firstly conducted by qualitative research to explore variables affecting teacher’s innovativeness. The dominant variables are creativity and personality as independent variables, and perceived organizational support (POS) as intervening one. After finding variables and constructing model constellation through theoretical framework and expert judgment, then the model is examined by a quantitative research using path analysis on 155 teachers of state primary schools at South Tangerang. On the basis of hypotheses test, the direct effect of variables upon teacher’s innovativeness is Ŷ= 0,283X1 + 0,235X2 + 0,481X3, the direct effect of independent variables upon intervening is X3 = 0,381 X1 + 0,573 X2. Whereas the indirect effect of creativity upon teacher’s innovativeness through POS is βx1yx3 = 0,183, this value is < 0,283X1 which means POS is not significantly effective as intervening on the effect of creativity upon teacher’s innovativeness through POS. While the indirect effect of personality upon teacher’s innovativeness through POS is βx2yx3 = 0,276 that it is > 0,235X2 which means POS is significantly effective as intervening on the effect of personality upon teacher’s innovativeness through POS. Eventually, Sitorem analysis is conducted to determine teacher’s innovativeness improvement by strengthening weak indicators and maintaining good ones in variables ordering based on the highest coefficient correlation. On the basis of SITOREM result, the indicators prioritized to be improved are sequentially from POS, creativity, and personality

Abstract

This study focuses on evaluating caregiver education in Indonesia using CIPP analysis, namely, Context, Input, Process and Product. In the following discussion, the language is translated into context, input, process and product or CIPP. So that later it is expected to be able to identify several aspects that can be used as input for stakeholders for the development of caregiver education. This evaluation research uses the CIPP approach to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of caregiver programs in Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive evaluative, in which this research seeks to obtain various information on the implementation of caregiver education programs at SMK Darmawan and SMKN 8 Semarang. In this study the method of collecting data was through 3 ways, namely: 1) interviews, 2) documentation studies, 3) observation. In this research. Researchers use three ways; interviews with informants or resource persons who are considered competent in their field, Observation, in this study on site observation or observation at school by looking directly at all activities that are related to the process of caregiver education in educational units, next is documentation study, namely making validation of what the informants have explained about the program being implemented. In this research interviews were conducted with 5 informants according to their respective capacities according to Context, Input, Process and Product in CIPP sequentially. The need to open family caregivers does not refer to clear documents issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. There were no definite documents regarding the need for caregivers quantitatively. In general, the vision of education can be properly reviewed. However, if we narrow it down to the opening of family caregivers, it is not specifically clear. It's just that the values of being knowledgeable, capable, creative, and independent are the basic things that must be the goals of family caregiver education, because they have to help the elderly properly. As already stated that the mission is a process that must be carried out to achieve the vision, the mission in opening the Carriver Family Card, although not implicitly mentioned in the educational mission, is to provide knowledge, skills and attitudes that are of global standard because there is indeed a need for caregiver workers. abroad quite a lot.

Abstract

In educational institutions, teachers play a central role in the administrative component. Combined with successfully completing the main tasks described in the job description and feeling that they are doing something special, teachers are the key to the success of an organization. Additional activities that are not directly related to the formal reward system that is applied are called OCB (Organizational Citizenship Behavior). Preliminary research shows that PGRI Bogor Vocational High School (SMK) teachers have little OCB information about variables related to increased OCB. This study aims to discuss the relationship between the increase in teacher OCB with the control variables of leadership, creativity and empowerment. This study uses a correlation analysis technique to determine the relationship between the variables studied and the SITEREM index analysis technique to obtain optimal solutions in increasing teacher OCB. The population of this study was 289 teachers at SMK PGRI Bogor. This population was sampled using the Slovin formula in order to obtain a sample of 168 individuals. Correlation analysis shows that there is a positive correlation between subordinate leadership and OCB with a correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.512, and OCB increases when subordinate leadership is strengthened. Creativity and OCB are positively correlated with a correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.438, and OCB increases with increasing creativity. Empowerment and OCB are positively correlated with a correlation coefficient ry3 = 0.502, and increased empowerment increases OCB. The best solution comes from SITEREM analysis. Therefore, out of 27 indicators, 14 good indicators need to be maintained or further developed, and 13 indicators are still weak and need to be improved. 1) Compassion 2) Humility 3) Integrity 4) Accountability 5) Equality 6) Consistency 7) Ethics 8) Mutual assistance 9) Pride 10) Initiative 11) Openness 12 ) Unique ideas 13) Products 14 ) 1.
