Abstract

Pemanfaatkan serbuk kayu, yang berasal dari pabrik pengelolaan kayu akan digunakan sebagai substitusi agregat halus pada pembuatan beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh limbah serbuk kayu terhadap kuat tekan, kuat lentur, workability dan berat jenis pada beton. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan percobaan langsung dilaboratorium. Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan substitusi agregat halus pada campuran beton, untuk kuat tekan beton pada umur beton 28 hari dengan variasi 0% (beton normal),2%, 3%, dan 4% masing-masing sebesar 27,176 MPa, 25,572 MPa, 25,100 MPa, 24,817 MPa. Menunjukkan adanya penurunan kuat tekan dari beton normal. Sedangkan untuk kuat lentur rata-rata pada umur beton 28 hari dengan variasi 0% (Beton normal) sebesar 3,733 MPa, variasi 2% sebesar 5,466 MPa, variasi 3 sebesar 6,000 MPa, dan variasi 4% sebesar 6,933 MPa. Menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak serbuk kayu maka kuat lentur beton juga semakin meningkat. tingkat kemudahan pengerjaan workability yang cukup mudah dalam pengerjaannya tidak mengalami pemisahan, rongga-rongga udara berkurang juga beton mengeras dengan baik. Hasil penelitian untuk berat jenis beton menunjukkan untuk nilai beton silinder variasi normal rata-rata 2297 Kg/m3, variasi 2% rata-rata 2267 Kg/m3, variasi 3% rata-rata 2253 Kg/m3, variasi 4% rata-rata 2254 Kg/m3. untuk balok variasi normal 2444 Kg/m3, balok variasi 2% 2369 Kg/m3, balok variasi 3% 2359 Kg/m3, balok variasi 4% 2337 Kg/m3.

Abstract

Construction requires strong and abundant materials, so various concrete mixing innovations are needed, such as the use of a variety of coarse aggregate materials. This research aims to determine the characteristics, comparison of concrete compressive strength tests and split tensile strength tests of manually broken coarse aggregate concrete with machine broken coarse aggregate using the SNI method at the Structure and Materials Laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Parepare. The research results show that the characteristics of manually broken and machine broken coarse aggregates meet laboratory material testing standards. The compressive strength value of manually broken coarse aggregate concrete is 24.63 Mpa and machine broken coarse aggregate concrete is 25.19 Mpa. The splitting tensile strength value of manually broken coarse aggregate concrete is 4.778 Mpa and machine broken coarse aggregate concrete is 5.444 Mpa. The use of machine-broken coarse aggregate produces higher compressive and tensile strength values for concrete compared to manually broken coarse aggregate.

Abstract

Keberadaan umat Islam dewasa ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan baik dari dalam maupun luar umat Islam. Hal ini bila dibiarkan tentu dapat berdampak negatif dan menghambat kemajuan di Tengah umat Islam. Diantara tantangan yang dihadapi umat Islam saat ini yaitu adanya bibit perpecahan yang disebabkan kurangnya ikatan ukhuwah Islamiyah sesama penganut agama Islam. Sementara itu, salah satu hal yang sangat signifikan dalam meraih kekuatan dalam upaya menyongsong umat Islam yang berkemajuan adalah kuatnya ikatan persaudaraan sesama umat Islam. Oleh karena itu, penting kiranya dilakukan usaha untuk memberikan wawasan dan pemahaman kepada umat terkait hal tersebut. Dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini digunakan media Radio karena dipandang lebih efektif dan efisien karena dapat menjangkau masyarakat yang lebih luas. Keberadaan media Radio tentu diharapkan mampu memberikan pemahaman dan penguatan terhadap masyarakat atau pendengarnya dengan tema yang menarik yaitu meraih kebahagiaan hidup. Radio Padang FM melalui program acara Masail Islamiyah menjadi pilihan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini karena sebelumnya sudah memiliki kerjasama dengan institusi Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya sebahagian lansia di masjid Baitul Muttaqin Kamper yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca al-Qur’an karena tidak mampu melafalkan huruf-huruf al-Qur’an dengan benar. Sehingga kondisi ini membuat lansia jarang datang ke masjid karena merasa malu untuk mengikuti kegiatan tadarus yang dilaksanakan setelah shalat berjamaah. Tujuan pengabdian Pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca al-Qur’an lansia. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan settingan kelompok dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap pertama dilakukan pengenalan huruf yang hampir sama bunyi dan makhrajnya, tahap kedua memperkenalkan harakat fathah, huruf sambung dan mad, tahap ketiga memperkenalkan harokat kasroh, dhommah, tanwin, sukun dan qalqalah dan tahap keempat mengenalkan harakat waqaf, mad wajib, tasydid, idgham dan ikhfa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kemampuan baca al-Qur’an lansia setelah diberikan bimbingan dengan menggunakan metode kibar

Abstract

Perjalanan hidup seseorang bisa mengantarkannya masuk ke lembaga pemasyarakatan. Hal ini disebabkan lemahnya aktualisasi nilai nilai keberagamaan dalam dirinya. Sehingga dapat menimbulkan perbuatan/ perilaku yang bertentangan dengan norma agama dan hukum. Oleh karena itu, warga binaan perlu secara kontinu mendapatkan pembinaan keberagamaan. Pengabdian masyakarakat ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan kesadaran bagi warga binaan agar kesalahan yang pernah dilakukan tidak terulang kembali setelah keluar dari rumah tahanan setelah masa hukuman habis. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan menggunakan metode dakwah bil lisan. Pengabdian ini telah memberikan wawasan, pengetahuan terhadap pentingnya memahami dan mengamalkan ajaran Islam dalam hidup, sehingga seseorang tidak melakakukan perbuatan melanggar norma agama dan hukum.

Abstract

West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) plays a pivotal role in Indonesia's economy, driven by cultural diversity and natural resources. Sustaining economic growth is crucial for the region. NTB's economic dynamics, influenced by inflation, banking, investments, GRDP, and government finances, exhibit unique patterns. This research investigates NTB's economic growth, exploring its connections to inflation, banking, investments, GRDP, and government finances. Stable inflation, along with investments and government finances, significantly influences NTB's economic trajectory, offering insights into regional economic stability and community purchasing power. The study provides valuable perspectives on the multifaceted factors shaping West Nusa Tenggara's economic landscape. Secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI) is utilized, employing a Non-Probability sampling technique, specifically Convenience sampling. Data collection involves observation, structured interviews, and literature studies. Quantitative analysis using SPSS Version 26 concludes that economic growth dynamics in West Nusa Tenggara are interrelated, with varying significance levels among factors such as inflation, banking performance, investments, GRDP, and government finances. Stable inflation emerges as a significant factor influencing economic growth in the province, alongside investments, GRDP, government finances, and banking performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of air cooling media, soluble oil, and air to the result on lathe ST 37 steel. The cooling medium is very important to maintain boring tool deformation and can add product quality. In the process lathe of friction between the workpiece and chisel cut that can produce overheating and influence on the result of the slice boring tool on the workpiece. The research that will be carried out is experimental research with variables that are controlled that is feeding, deep of a cut, and spindle rotation and examination of the hardness of the specimen on the object before done lathe. The sample in this study which is ST 37 steel with diameter 25 mm and length 60 mm as many as 9 specimens which will be done lathe with different type media kind inprocess working. To know influence the type of cooling medium against steel ST 37 is done brinnel hardeness test using test equipment hardness tester. Of the 9 specimens lathe will be determined 3 points to do hardeness tests. From the result of hardness test and analysis obtained from hardness test on steel ST 37 average data that is use of soluble refrigerant media that produce a very good cooling at the time of the lathe process. The results of research is obtained that the use of soluble refrigerant media is the best with an average hardness of 224.10 kg / mm². On the lathe process, the cooling media has oil content will be able to maintain the scores hardness and time-worn on boring tool. Thus to maintain the hardness values can be used soluble oil cooling media and to increase the hardness values of workpieces can be used air cooling media.

Abstract

Welding can be interpreted by the process of joining two metals to the molten metal point. Metal low carbon steel which is easily processed by welding techniques. Strong setting of the welding current will affect the weld. If the current used is too low it will cause the difficulty of igniting the electric arc. Conversely, if the welding current is too high, the electrode will melt too fast. The welding current strength 130A corresponds to the diameter of the 3.2 mm electrode. The purpose of the research was to determine whether or not the influence of welding current on the low carbon steel hardness of SMAW welding results with E7018 electrode. This type of research was carried out by the type of experimental research, the research process was carried out by hardness testing, and the data obtained through the results of hardness testing was followed by observation and analysis of specimens of low carbon steel ST 37 welded by SMAW with different current strength using E-7018 electrode. Low carbon steel specimens from SMAW welding with 130 A welding current using E-7018 electrode have a higher hardness value compared to low carbon steel specimens produced by SMAW with welding current strengths of 100A and 160A using E-7018 electrodes.

Abstract

The problems that exist in the former group are the process of knowing the results of processing gambir sap is still done manually. To print 20 kg of gambier sap, it takes about 5 to 8 hours. Through this service activity, the team wanted to overcome the problem by providing a sap gambir. The purpose of implementing this service activity is to provide a solution to the problems faced by gambier farmers in the process of printing sap gambir. The method of applying science and technology carried out in this activity is to provide introductory theories, demonstrations, and practices. The introductory theory is applicable, namely the introduction of tools, how to use them, their functions and application applications in the field. The realization of the service to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Sutera Pesisir Selatan Subdistrict was held on October 6, 2018. The tool that was handed over to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Kecamatan Sutera was a unit of a parallel cylinder printer. Application of appropriate technology that is applied to processing gambir leaves must be adjusted to the productivity of printed sap gambir. The amount of gambir sap obtained by gambir farmers will adjust the capacity of the gambir sap. The tool devoted to the community has cylindrical media made with wood media with a thickness of 70 m. The mould cylinder will print the sap of gambir according to the size sold on the market and have a gum pushing media from the mould which serves to release the sap that is in the cylinder mould. This driving media is also made using wood.

Abstract

The Hipgampra farmer group has Gambir farming land. The problems that occur in this farmer group have not had a press tool, usually, this farmer group rents gambir leaf processing equipment privately and must pay rent wages which are worth one-third of the proceeds of the sale. Through this service activity, the team wanted to overcome the problem by giving a press tool to process gambir leaves. The purpose of the implementation of this service activity is to provide a solution to the problems faced by gambier women in the process of pressing gambier leaves. The method of applying science and technology carried out in this activity is to provide introductory theories, demonstrations, and practices. The introductory theory is applicable, namely the introduction of tools, how to use them, their functions and application applications in the field. The realization of service to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Sutera Pesisir Selatan Subdistrict was held on October 6, 2018. The equipment that was handed over to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Subdistrict, Sutera in the form of a unit of a Gambir leaf impact system. Application of appropriate technology that is applied to gambir leaf processing must be adjusted to the productivity of harvested gambier leaves. The number of gambir leaves that can be harvested by gambier farmers will adjust the capacity of the gambir leaf press to be processed. The tool that is devoted to the community has a forging foundation that functions as a place for gambir leaves to be pressed and has a jack stand that will press the gambir leaves to the foundation so that the sap of gambier will come out.
