Abstract

The tradition of peusijuek is a cultural heritage of the Acehnese people that has undergone acculturation with Islamic values. This tradition means asking for coolness, peace, and blessings without contradicting the principles of Sharia law. This study aims to understand the tradition of peusijuek from a psychosufistic perspective, which is an approach that integrates Sufi values and Islamic psychology based on tauhid. The method used is qualitative with a field research approach through participatory and non-participatory observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed descriptively and analytically. The results of the study indicate that peusijuek not only strengthens the spiritual relationship between humans and God (habl min Allāh) but also reinforces social solidarity (habl min al-nās). This tradition reflects psychosophical values such as gratitude, prayer, mahabbah, khawf, and rajā’, which contribute to the formation of psychological balance and spiritual awareness in society. Thus, peusijuek is not merely a ceremonial ritual but a real representation of relevant psychological and spiritual harmony that needs to be preserved in the face of modern dynamics

Abstract

This research explores the strategies used by visually impaired students in learning English and the facilities they need to support their learning. Conducted at SLB-A Yapti Makassar, the study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that the visually impaired students utilized various strategies including audio-based learning, peer support, and memorization. The most crucial facilities for these students were assistive technology tools such as screen readers, braille books, and a supportive learning environment. Teachers also played a significant role in adapting materials and providing multisensory instruction. The study concludes that inclusive English language learning for visually impaired students requires collaborative strategies, accessible resources, and trained educators. These elements ensure that visually impaired learners can actively participate and succeed in language acquisition, thus promoting equitable education. Further research is encouraged to evaluate these strategies in broader educational contexts.

Abstract

Ansietas banyak dialami mahasiswa tingkat akhir saat menghadapi skripsi. tuntutan akademik, keterbatasan waktu, proses bimbingan, serta kurangnya dukungan sosial sering kali meningkatkan kecemasan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Developing Support System (DSS) terhadap tingkat ansietas mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pre-post test without control group. Populasi adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Bhamada Slawi, dengan sampel sebanyak 65 orang menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi DSS dilakukan selama 3 bulan melalui konseling, diskusi, motivasi, dan dukungan sebaya. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden berusia 20–22 tahun (82,9%) dan berjenis kelamin perempuan (80%). Motivasi utama mahasiswa berasal dari orang tua (95,4%). Tingkat ansietas sebelum intervensi terdiri atas 56,9% cemas ringan dan 43,1% cemas sedang. Setelah intervensi DSS, mayoritas responden (98,5%) berada pada kategori cemas ringan. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna tingkat ansietas sebelum dan sesudah intervensi (p=0,000; t=13,295). DSS efektif menurunkan tingkat ansietas mahasiswa tingkat akhir dalam menghadapi skripsi. DSS dapat diterapkan secara aplikatif oleh dosen dan lingkungan akademik sebagai strategi pendampingan. Penelitian lanjutan perlu memperluas sampel dan mengombinasikan dengan intervensi psikososial lain untuk hasil yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Salah satu intervensi non-farmakologis pada anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) adalah diet Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF), namun pengetahuan guru Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) tentang diet ini masih sangat terbatas. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman guru mengenai konsep dan implementasi diet GFCF di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang melibatkan 29 guru SDLB melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan uji paired T-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor pengetahuan guru setelah pelatihan (p=0,021), dengan rata-rata peningkatan 4,83 poin. Analisis kualitatif juga memperlihatkan partisipasi aktif, sikap positif terhadap penerapan diet GFCF, serta kepuasan tinggi terhadap proses pelatihan. Kegiatan ini merupakan pelatihan pertama di Indonesia yang menggunakan pendekatan model ADDIE untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru SLB dalam menerapkan diet GFCF secara terstruktur. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan terstruktur efektif meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mendukung tatalaksana holistik anak dengan ASD, sekaligus berkontribusi pada pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan terapan di bidang pendidikan khusus dan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya pada aspek kesehatan dan pendidikan berkualitas. Enhancing Special School Teachers’ Capacity on Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF) Diet for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Abstract One of the non-pharmacological interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the Gluten Free Casein Free (GFCF) diet; however, teachers in special schools (SLB) still have very limited knowledge about this dietary approach. This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ understanding of the concept and implementation of the GFCF diet in schools. The method used was training based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), involving 29 special elementary school teachers. Evaluation was carried out using pre- and post-tests analyzed with a paired t-test. The results showed a significant increase in teachers’ knowledge scores after the training (p=0.021), with an average improvement of 4.83 points. Qualitative analysis also revealed active participation, positive attitudes toward the application of the GFCF diet, and high satisfaction with the training process. These findings demonstrate that structured training is effective in enhancing teachers’ capacity to support the holistic management of children with ASD, while also contributing to the advancement of applied science in special education and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the areas of health and quality education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi pembangunan tugu perbatasan desa sebagai upaya memperkuat identitas lokal di Desa Suka Jaya. Perbatasan Tugu tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penanda wilayah administratif, tetapi juga memiliki makna simbolis yang mencerminkan jati diri, kebersamaan, serta nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat setempat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan tugu perbatasan di Desa Suka Jaya memberikan dampak positif terhadap penguatan identitas lokal melalui peningkatan rasa memiliki masyarakat, pengakuan terhadap nilai budaya, serta memperkuat kohesi sosial antarwarga. Namun demikian, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan anggaran serta partisipasi masyarakat yang belum merata. Dengan demikian, pembangunan tugu perbatasan dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam memperkuat identitas lokal apabila dilaksanakan secara partisipatif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Drug abuse is an increasing global health concern, with adolescents being among the most vulnerable populations. Insufficient knowledge and unengaging educational methods highlight the need for innovative educational approaches, such as audiovisual media. This community service activity aimed to enhance adolescents' understanding of the dangers of drug abuse. The activity was conducted through innovative education, utilizing a five-minute educational video for 88 adolescents aged 12-18 years. The implementation methods included audiovisual education, interactive discussions, and pre- and post-education knowledge assessments. Results indicated an improvement in participants' knowledge regarding the dangers of drug abuse. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in improving community health, particularly among adolescents. The program has a positive impact on strengthening health through increased knowledge and acts as a preventive measure against drug abuse in adolescents. Abstract

Mental health is an integral component in maintaining physiological homeostasis, including the structure and function of oral tissues. Disorders such as stress and depression can trigger biological alterations through activation of the autonomic nervous system, increased cortisol secretion, and reduced mucosal immunity. Objective : This study aims to analyze the relationship between mental health disorders and oral biological responses based on the latest scientific evidence. Methods : A literature review of scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025, obtained from the PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases, focusing on oral manifestations such as bruxism, xerostomia, and periodontitis. Result : revealed that psychological distress correlates with increased periodontal inflammation, salivary dysfunction, and immune dysregulation within the oral cavity. These findings confirm the physiological connection between mental health and oral biological function, which requires understanding within an interdisciplinary framework. Abstract

Perawatan paliatif adalah suatu bentuk pelayanan yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dan keluarganya dengan penyakit yang mengancam jiwa dengan mencegah dan menghilangkannya melalui deteksi dini, evaluasi berkala dan pengobatan nyeri dan masalah fisik, psikososial lainnya dan rohani. jumlah penduduk lansia menurut Berita Resmi Statistik tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Tegal sebanyak 88.245 jiwa yaitu 5,5% dari 1,59 juta jiwa. Tujuan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah melakukan deteksi kegawatan melalui pengukuran tekanan darah, pengukuran kadar gula darah dan pengukuran asam urat. Pelaksanaan Meja 1 untuk pengukuran tekanan darah, Meja 2 untuk pengukuran gula darah, Meja 3 untuk pengukuran asam urat dan Meja 4 dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan. Alat yang digunakan yaitu tensimeter digital dan easy touch serta media lembar balik.

Abstract

Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kematian pada wanita, dan tanda-tandanya bahkan dapat terdeteksi sejak usia remaja. Deteksi dini melalui pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) sangat penting untuk menurunkan angka kematian akibat keterlambatan diagnosis. Namun, masih banyak remaja putri yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan rendah dalam melakukan SADARI karena kurangnya informasi serta pelatihan yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswi dalam melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) di SMP Negeri 2 Adiwerna. Pengabdian dilaksanakan kepada 60 siswi kelas VIII dengan metode edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media video animasi serta demonstrasi langsung prosedur pemeriksaan SADARI. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswi setelah diberikan edukasi. Metode demonstrasi yang dipadukan dengan media video animasi terbukti efektif dalam membantu remaja memahami langkah-langkah pemeriksaan payudara sendiri secara benar. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran deteksi dini kanker payudara sejak usia remaja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the functional relationship of art ideology and the leadership of Didin Sirojuddin AR in the management of the Islamic Calligraphy Islamic Boarding School LEMKA Sukabumi, West Java. This study departs from the phenomenon of a gap in academic research on art specialists in pesantren, even though the work of LEMKA and Didin Sirojuddin is very significant in producing national and international calligraphers. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, open interviews, documentation, and archival studies, then analyzed using Spradley's model in four stages (domain, taxonomy, component, and event structure). The results of the study show that the art ideology embraced by Didin Sirojuddin is rooted in Islamism with the fundamental values of monotheism and taqwa. This ideology is internalized in the curriculum, work ethic, and work traditions at LEMKA. Calligraphy is seen as worship, da'wah, and a cultural medium with five primary forms of works: manuscripts, mushaf decoration, decoration, contemporary, and digital. In terms of leadership, Didin Sirojuddin applies a participatory style with a visionary and democratic orientation. This style is characterized by the team's active involvement in decision-making, a collaborative space, and persuasive communication that encourages the loyalty and creativity of students and alumni. The relationship between ideology and leadership has proven to be a key factor in the formation of effective pesantren management and a conducive learning climate. The synergy between the two results in high-quality work, competitive achievements, and a wide alumni network. This study concludes that the success of LEMKA is a combination of a strong religious ideology and transformative kiai leadership, while offering an integrative model for the development of Islamic arts education.
