Abstract

Funding management for culinary micro-enterprises in Madura requires real action, including applying financial literacy indicators, regarding the study of how financial capital and bootstrapping affect micro-enterprises performance in the Madura culinary industry. This study aimed to examine the effect of financial bootstrapping and financial capital through financial literacy on microbusiness performance. The method used in this research is quantitative. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with research respondents of culinary micro businesses in Madura. The sample obtained was 110 respondents. The data in this study used primary data, namely a questionnaire. The results showed that increasing financial literacy is the key to maximizing resource potential and improving micro-business performance in the Madura culinary sector. In the context of research on the effect of financial bootstrapping and financial capital on the performance of micro-businesses in the culinary industry in Madura, supported by Pecking Order Theory (POT), it provides a relevant framework for understanding the financing decisions taken by business actors. This research provides an overview of empirical support related to good financial literacy's importance in improving financial management and microbusiness performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure, asset structure, and total asset turnover either partially or simultaneously on firm value during 2016-2020. This study uses quantitative research using secondary data obtained from Coal Mining Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted in a quantitative descriptive manner using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study has a population of 22 with 18 samples. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method by considering certain criteria. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The variables used in this study are capital structure, asset structure, and total assets turnover as independent variables, firm value as the dependent variable. The results of the t-test show that the Long-Term Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect, the Fixed Asset Ratio has a positive and insignificant effect, and the Total Asset Turnover has a positive and significant effect. The results of the F test show that the Long-Term Debt to Equity Ratio, Fixed Asset Ratio, and Total Asset Turnover simultaneously have a significant positive effect on firm value.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hal-hal berikut: 1) Tingkatpemahaman mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan kecerdasan buatan pada mata kuliahPemrograman Berorientasi Objek, 2) Peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa apabilalebih banyak menggunakan kecerdasan buatan pada mata kuliah PemrogramanBerorientasi Objek. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dipilih sebagai jenispenelitian. Objek penelitian adalah 28 siswa SMK Negeri 2 Takalar yang memilikikompetensi di bidang rekayasa perangkat lunak. Data dikumpulkan melaluikuesioner dan tes objektif; dua validator dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Hasilpenelitian meliputi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaranPemrograman Berorientasi Objek Kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian RekayasaPerangkat Lunak SMK Negeri 2 Takalar. Siswa memperoleh tingkat ketuntasanhasil belajar pada Siklus I dengan pre-test sebesar 0% dan post-test sebesar 18%dan pada Siklus II dengan pre-test sebesar 21% dan post-test sebesar 89%.Tingkat ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada Siklus I dan II meningkat sebesar 71persen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kecerdasan buatan dapatmembantu siswa SMK Negeri 2 Takalar dalam mempelajari pemrogramanberorientasi objek

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the validity of a training module on organic fertilizer management designed to improve farmers' knowledge. The development of the module was carried out through a systematic process, including literature review, field needs analysis, expert validation, and user readability testing. The training module was designed in a digital format using an e-learning approach to increase accessibility and flexibility in learning. Validation was conducted by subject matter experts and media experts using structured assessment instruments. The results showed that the content validity scores reached 87.62% for content, 86.67% for layout, and 90.77% for language aspects, indicating high validity from a material perspective. Meanwhile, media experts rated the module with scores of 88.19% for display, 86.81% for material, and 89.17% for functional aspects, confirming its feasibility in terms of usability and design. The results of the analysis concluded that the training module is highly valid and suitable for use in agricultural training programs. It has the potential to support the dissemination of knowledge on sustainable organic fertilizer practices and enhance the competency of farmers through digital learning.

Abstract

The effectiveness of technical training in the agricultural sector is highly dependent on the success of the overall evaluation of participants' skills. This research aims to develop a competency-based training evaluation model that can measure participants' knowledge, skills, and attitudes systematically and objectively. The study was conducted on the training of two-wheeled tractor operators at the Batangkaluku Agricultural Training Center (BBPP). With a Research and Development (R&D) approach that integrates the Borg & Gall, ADDIE, CIPP, and Logic Model models, an evaluation model called TERAPAN (Evaluative Transformation for Agricultural Training Response and Action) was produced. The model is validated through expert tests and field implementation that demonstrate high validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results show that the TERAPAN model is able to improve the accuracy of skill measurement and provide concrete feedback to the training design. This model makes a significant contribution to strengthening the vocational agricultural training system in Indonesia, and is recommended for national adoption.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is an important factor in the construction industry to reduce the risk of accidents and improve worker welfare. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the work environment approach in increasing K3 knowledge in construction industry workers. The research design used is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design involving 30 workers. The research process began with a pretest to measure the level of initial knowledge of workers, followed by filling out a questionnaire using the Likert 4 scale to determine the response of workers to the work environment approach. Furthermore, interventions were carried out in the form of training and improvement of the work environment, then ended with a posttest to measure the improvement of K3 knowledge after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the average score of workers' knowledge from 62.83 in the pretest to 85.17 in the posttest. This increase shows that the work environment-based approach is effective in increasing workers' awareness and understanding of OSH. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of implementing work environment-based strategies in improving safety culture in the construction industry. Companies are advised to implement a similar approach on an ongoing basis to improve worker safety and productivity.

Abstract

The integration of online platforms has changed and significantly transformed the educational landscape, particularly in technical fields like process control systems. ATRIBUT, our innovative platform, is at the forefront of this transformation. It seamlessly blends MOOCs' scalability with SPOCs' personalized attention, combining asynchronous and synchronous learning methods. This approach fosters a more engaging environment and opens up new possibilities for students, educators, and the process control system education field. ATRIBUT is not just a theoretical concept but a practical solution designed explicitly for process control systems. It covers critical areas such as automation, control theory, and system dynamics, ensuring students gain theoretical and practical knowledge. The platform's adaptive learning technologies and data analytics further enhance its practicality, personalizing content, tracking student progress, and optimizing learning outcomes, providing a comprehensive and practical learning experience. A core feature of ATRIBUT is its emphasis on collaboration. Group projects, peer reviews, and interactive tools facilitate a sense of community among learners. The cloud-based infrastructure supports scalability and accessibility, ensuring an inclusive and user-friendly experience where every learner is considered and valued. This research evaluates the effectiveness of ATRIBUT through an experimental design, comparing two groups of students: one using ATRIBUT and another following traditional learning methods. Data collected from pre-tests, post-tests, and questionnaires will measure learning outcomes, engagement, and satisfaction. Statistical analysis will determine if ATRIBUT significantly enhances learning and motivation compared to traditional approaches, aiming to provide evidence of its potential in process control system education.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of air pollution on human health which can cause various serious diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks, asthma and stroke. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), air pollution causes 7 million deaths every year, due to harmful substances released by air pollution sources. The focus of this research is to design tools that can communicate with each other to measure air quality on Bumi Tamalanrea Permai road, Makassar City using a vehicle network (VANET) and sensors installed on the vehicle. These sensors move and collect data periodically, and the collected data is sent to a base station as a collection center. The research results show that the device developed succeeded in recording sensor-based data well, thus producing important information regarding air quality on Bumi Tamalanrea Permai road. This device is also capable of operating effectively within a VANET network, enabling communication between nodes with a minimum delay of less than 40 meters and a signal strength of less than -77dBm. Communication with the base station uses the MQTT protocol, with low packet loss and data throughput at distances of less than 70 meters and signal strength below -77dBm.

Abstract

Vision is foundational to children’s learning and development, yet millions of school-aged children suffer from undiagnosed or untreated vision problems. Despite the critical role of vision in academic achievement, eye health is rarely integrated into school curricula globally. This study presents a systematic literature review of recent evidence (2020–2024) on the integration of eye health into educational curricula, analyzing models, stakeholder roles, barriers, and measurable impacts. Using PRISMA guidelines, 35 peer-reviewed articles were selected through searches on Scopus, PubMed, ERIC, and Google Scholar. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify dominant trends across curriculum integration models, educator and optometrist roles, policy constraints, and outcomes. Findings reveal that integrated models where eye health is embedded into science or health subjects enhance students’ knowledge and behavior. Teachers trained in basic visual screening significantly improve early detection. Cross-sector collaboration between health and education authorities boosts sustainability. Key barriers include policy misalignment, funding gaps, and cultural beliefs about eyewear. Programs in India, Australia, and South Africa show strong outcomes in literacy improvement, academic gains, and cost-effectiveness. Integrating eye health into education is not merely a health intervention but a strategic investment in equity and academic potential. Policymakers must prioritize vision care within school health frameworks by empowering educators, engaging optometrists, and contextualizing approaches to local needs.

Abstract

Kegiatan nelayan di atas kapal merupakan salah satu kegiatan dengan tingkat resiko tinggi yang mengakibatkan kerugian pada aspek materil hingga keselamatan nelayan di atas kapal. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan khusus bagi nelayan dalam menggunakan alat keselamatan di atas kapal pada kondisi darurat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat nelayan yang ada di PPI Sungai Kakap tentang keterampilan menggunakan alat keselamatan di atas kapal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan tahapan sosialisasi kepada khalayak sasaran yang mengacu pada pekerja/awak kapal dan penyampaian materi terkait penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kapal dan upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan di atas kapal. Berdasarkan hasil pre test yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa hanya 42 % dari keseluruhan peserta yang benar – benar paham mengenai keselamatan kerja di atas kapal berdasarkan prosedur. Setelah kegiatan ini dilakukan, secara keseluruhan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran peserta akan pentingnya keterampilan nelayan dalam menggunakan alat keselamatan di atas kapal dan cara menggunakan bahan alternatif sebagai alat keselamatan pada keadaan darurat. Selain itu, para nelayan mampu memahami penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kapal serta memahami upacaya terhadap pencegahan dari kecelakaan tersebut.
