Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of hedonism and transaction security on the level of QRIS usage, with financial literacy as a moderating variable. The methodology used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study consist of students from the faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. The sampling techniqueemployed was purposive sampling with a total of 97 respondents. The research instrument was a closedended questionnaire using a likert scale. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, processed through SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that hedonism and transaction security significantly influence QRIS usage. However, financial literacy does not moderate the relationship between hedonism or transaction security and QRIS usage. These findings suggest that although financial knowledge is important, it does not necessarily strengthen the relationship between lifestyle or security and QRIS usage behavior.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate an Industrial Class Model designed to enhance employability skills among vocational high school students in Indonesia. Despite longstanding reforms in vocational education, graduates continue to face challenges in meeting labor market expectations, primarily due to weak industry engagement and limited focus on transferable soft skills. Using a quantitative research design grounded in Modified Model (ADDIE, Dick & Carey, 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), Borg & Gall, and Prototyping), this study combines quantitative surveys field observations to assess current practices and test the effectiveness of the Industrial Class Model. The model integrates co-designed instruction, co-teaching with industry practitioners, and experiential learning through real-world projects. Data were collected from students, vocational teachers, and industry professionals across vocational schools in Makassar. The findings show that the model significantly improves students’ attitudes, instructional engagement, experiential learning, and, most importantly, core employability competencies such as communication, teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving. Mean scores across key variables ranged from 7.4 to 8.5 on a 10-point scale, with the highest scores in student attitude (8.5) and social relatedness (8.3). However, the study also identifies areas for further development, particularly in fostering student autonomy and intrinsic motivation. The results affirm the importance of industry-integrated pedagogy and provide evidence for a scalable, replicable instructional framework that aligns vocational education with workforce demands. The Industrial Class Model offers a practical solution for improving graduate readiness and can serve as a blueprint for vocational education reform in Indonesia and similar contexts globally.

Abstract

This research departs from the background of the problem of the low work discipline of the members of the PKK Motivating Team in Bungo Regency so that they have not been able to achieve good performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the application, barriers, and efforts to overcome obstacles in the application of work discipline members of the Bungo District PKK Driving Team. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The population in this study were the chairman and all members of the PKK Movement Team for Bungo Regency, with a total sample of fifteen people. The results showed that the application of work discipline in the Office of the PKK Movement Team in Bungo Regency has not been going well, it can be seen from the dimensions of timeliness and dimensions of work responsibility that have not been implemented properly. The inhibiting factor is the absence of sanctions for members who are not disciplined at work, and there are still members who are not responsible for completing the workload given. Efforts are being made, namely by applying sanctions in the form of fines, conducting member coaching once a month.

Abstract

Smart attendance systems have evolved from routine administrative tools into data-driven mechanisms for monitoring, prediction, and institutional decision-making in education. However, limited attention has been given to how this transformation is understood from educational, ethical, and socio-technical perspectives. This study aims to examine the development of smart attendance system research using a bibliometric and science mapping approach. A dataset of 108 Scopus-indexed journal articles published between 2016 and 2025 was analyzed using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny. The findings reveal a clear shift from RFID-based and manual verification systems toward artificial intelligence-driven approaches, including facial recognition, deep learning, computer vision, and predictive analytics. Despite these technological advancements, the literature remains predominantly technocentric, with major emphasis on system efficiency, authentication, and automation, while issues related to privacy, consent, fairness, and surveillance receive limited attention. This study identifies an “ethical silence” in the field and suggests that attendance is increasingly redefined as a machine-verifiable construct rather than a pedagogical expression of engagement. Future research should integrate data ethics, learning analytics, and student agency to support more balanced educational practices.
