Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop and validate visual video learning media that can encourage students to learn science, especially the human movement system, in grade V elementary school. To help students understand the subject matter, visual videos that combine audio and visual elements are used. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a systematic and structured ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) approach. The quality of the video, cover design, and materials presented were evaluated by professionals to test the validity of the learning media. The validation results show that the visual video media increases students' understanding and desire to learn. It is expected that the use of this media will help teachers deliver lessons more interestingly and effectively. Research that confirms the importance of innovation in learning media development through evolving technology and interactive effectiveness

Abstract

This study aims to foster the growth of cooperation and responsibility through classroom cleaning activities in maintaining the environment at elementary schools. The method used in this study is a subjective qualitative approach, where data were obtained through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The participants of the study were fifth-grade students. The results of the study indicate that classroom cleaning activities significantly contribute to the enhancement of students' cooperation and responsibility. During cleaning activities, students learn to work together with classmates in completing cleaning tasks and maintaining school facilities. They also show increased responsibility towards the cleanliness of their classroom and school environment. Teachers reported that students involved in cleaning activities exhibited positive changes in social interactions and increased awareness of school cleanliness. This study concludes that classroom cleaning activities are an effective way to instill cooperation and responsibility among elementary school students. The recommendations are for schools to sustain and develop classroom cleaning programs as part of character education curricula. Additionally, active participation of teachers in supervising and providing feedback during cleaning activities is crucial to maximize the benefits for students

Abstract

This study investigates how interactive learning media can help students in sixth grade elementary school understand puberty. Puberty, which is an important phase in a child's development, is very important to have a good understanding of the physical and emotional changes that occur. To gain a better understanding of students' experiences and perceptions when using interactive learning media, subjective qualitative research with a phenomenological approach was used. Data was collected through active observation during the learning process and comprehensive interviews with sixth grade students at an elementary school. The focus of the interviews was students' experiences when using interactive learning media and how this impacted their understanding of puberty. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data to find main themes from the interview and observation data. The research results showed that interactive learning helped students understand puberty. Through interesting visual and audio media, students find it easier to understand the material presented. Because there are interactive elements that make learning more fun, they feel more motivated and interested in learning. Compared with conventional learning approaches, some students prefer to discuss sensitive topics about puberty through interactive media. This research found that interactive learning tools can help sixth grade students understand puberty. It is recommended that schools incorporate interactive learning media into their curriculum
