Abstract

Business development in this era of globalization is inseparable from increasingly fierce competition in marketing products and services, as well as SMEs in marketing products that are packaged in such a way as to increase the selling value of the products being marketed. This study aims to see the extent to which product packaging attracts buyers from packaged products so that it can increase income for UMKM actors in tourist areas in Berastagi City, Karo Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach, where UMKM actors are respondents in collecting data in this study. Where the results of the study show the UMKM product packaging variable is 2.681 > ttable 2.01808 and a significant value is 0.006 > from alpha 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, thus partially the UMKM product packaging variable has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study has three research objectives,(1) Prepare a detailed inventory of traditional Toba foods which include: (a) Types of traditional foods (b) Traditional food processing methods, (c) Economic aspects and (d) Documentation, (2) Developing traditional food development alternatives and (3) designing Branding on traditional food in Toba District. The type of this research is survey research with descriptive method. The results Based on a survey conducted in Toba District identified a number of 4 types of traditional food. The main ingredients most widely used for making traditional food is Fish (80%), then other ingredients (20%). Toba traditional foods, based on the way of processing can be categorized into three, namely: (1) steamed, (2) fried, (3) and boiled. Based on interviews with resource persons and traditional food community figures in Toba, several alternative development that can be done are: Identification and Inventory of traditional food, Preparing the profile of traditional food in the area as food information and counseling and Promotion, Encouraging the development of traditional food centers with relevant agencies, private and community; Provision of soft loans for additional capital.

Abstract

Supervisi klinis merupakan pendekatan strategis dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru melalui bimbingan yang sistematis dan berbasis refleksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran supervisi klinis yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMKN 3 Tanjungpinang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi klinis yang diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah melalui tiga tahapan utama (perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan tindak lanjut) berdampak positif terhadap kompetensi pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian guru. Guru yang mendapatkan supervisi secara teratur menunjukkan peningkatan dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, penggunaan metode mengajar yang lebih inovatif, serta refleksi terhadap praktik pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya, seperti keterbatasan waktu, kesiapan guru dalam menerima supervisi, serta kebutuhan akan pelatihan bagi kepala sekolah agar dapat menerapkan supervisi klinis yang lebih efektif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kebijakan yang mendukung pelaksanaan supervisi klinis secara optimal, termasuk alokasi waktu yang lebih fleksibel, penyediaan pelatihan supervisi bagi kepala sekolah, serta dukungan dari dinas pendidikan untuk memperkuat efektivitas supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru.

Abstract

The Safavid Persian Empire is one example of Muslim politics during the early development of Islam. Compared to the other two great empires, the Mughal and Ottoman empires, the Safavid Empire faced the most pressure from the West. As is well known, the progress of a nation depends on its development; the younger generation of Iran achieved progress that enabled them to stand on their own and no longer depend on other countries. Western countries were keen to exert pressure on Iran. This paper aims to study the history of contemporary Islamic development in Iran, from the reform ideas of Ayatollah Khomeini to how they were implemented in the country. To provide the description, the author uses a qualitative historical research approach. The findings show that the growth of Islam in Iran began with Caliph Umar bin Khattab through the expansion of Islamic territories. However, during this period, the Qajar Dynasty (1785–1925 AD) and the Pahlavi Dynasty (1925–1979 AD) did not achieve significant Islamic progress. The Iranian Revolution not only changed the economy but also created a new and independent government.

Abstract

Nowadays, most of SMK’s graduates in Central Lombok Regency are not yet ready to directly apply their skills and potential to work place. Multimedia expertise field of Graphic Design competency for Printing products is a favorite choice for prospective SMK’s students in Central Lombok Regency. Less than optimal learning is often experienced by SMK in remote areas, especially non-state schools; mostly due to limited learning devices. SMK in remote areas and private schools accommodate many students who cannot attend state schools which are generally located in the center city or other urban area. The field conditions that occur are the lack of graduate capacity to meet the needs of graduate users. Main problem faced by SMK is the lack of device support in learning and learning experience in practical derived from the world place. Implementation of the Community Service Program provides an answer to these needs. SMK Al Fajri as a partner becomes a accommodator for workshop activities to assist in increasing the capacity of students in preparing Graphic Design for Printing products. Students are given practical training and work on design projects as training to strengthen their technical skills. Communication and interaction exercises are added to complement students' competencies. Based on the evaluation, all workshop participants gained new experiences, increased technical and non-technical capacities. 80% of students can create Graphic Designs for Printing products independently and based on orders, without having to be given examples and direct guidance.

Abstract

This article examines the implementation dilemma of the Adiwiyata Program in Riau Islands Province, focusing on the gap between policy ideals and actual practice. Employing a qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product), the study evaluates policy, planning, implementation, and outcomes of the program. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that while the policy framework complies with standards, the planning, implementation, and outcomes are yet to be optimized. Major issues include inconsistency in execution, weak stakeholder coordination, and ineffective assessment of Adiwiyata schools. This study contributes theoretically to the evaluation of environmental education policy and offers strategic recommendations for strengthening program governance at the provincial level. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on provincial-level evaluation, contrasting with previous studies centered on schools. The findings are expected to inform the development of more effective and sustainable environmental education policies.

Abstract

Abstrak Perlindungan terhadap masyarakat disabilitas diwujudkan melalui keharusan negara untuk menjamin akses efektif penyandang disabilitas terhadap keadilan dengan memperlakukan mereka setara dengan orang lain. Ini mencakup penyediaan pengaturan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka terkait prosedur dan usia, untuk memungkinkan partisipasi aktif penyandang disabilitas, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, termasuk peran mereka sebagai saksi dalam semua persidangan, termasuk selama penyidikan dan tahap awal lainnya. Berfokus pada prinsip Ad Informandum Judicem yang bertujuan memberikan informasi kepada hakim, penulis melakukan pengabdian melalui sosialisasi secara langsung dalam hal mengeksplorasi sejauh mana penyandang disabilitas dapat menerapkan prinsip ini dalam persidangan, terutama mengenai undang-undang yang membahas perlindungan hak disabilitas. Pengabdian ini secara khusus bertujuan agar kelompok tunanetra di Yayasan Urunan Kebaikan dapat memahami dan menyampaikan kebutuhan mereka sesuai dengan prosedur peradilan yang lebih responsif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kerangka hukum yang mendukung telah ada, implementasi prinsip Ad Informandum Judicem seringkali menghadapi hambatan dalam pelaksanaannya. Di Yayasan Urunan Kebaikan, ditemukan bahwa kelompok disabilitas terkadang kesulitan mengakses informasi dan berpartisipasi dalam proses persidangan. Oleh karena itu, penulis memberikan rekomendasi yang didapat dari diskusi langsung mengenai perbaikan aksesibilitas dan partisipasi penyandang disabilitas dalam sistem peradilan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract— Sumenep is listed in the eastern end of Madura Island. It takes more than four hours to reach Sumenep by bus or taxi from Surabaya. Sumenep has some interesting sites to visit. Besides historical sites like Kraton, Traditional Art and Cultural Attractions as Mask Dance and Bull Race, it also has beautiful beaches to see, such as; Lombang beach, Slopeng beach, Sembilan beach, Gili Labak and Gili Iyang which have the best oxygen levels in the world. However, mostly first visitors have a little bit difficulty to get information about it because the lack of detail information and schedule when the even held. In order to give brief information about it, researcher conduct the study which build an Android-based Geographic Information System using the Dijkstra Algorithm, which is expected to help them in displaying routes from one tourist spot to another. The Author applied the shortest route search algorithm, Dijkstra's algorithm, because this method can calculate the closest distance, both the distance between one tourist spot to another tourist spot, as well as the distance between the position of the user to the tourist place in the city of Sumenep.

Abstract

Excessive doses of paracetamol can cause nephrotoxicity due to accumulation of NAPQI and oxidative stress, which damages the proximal tubules of the kidney. Tomato (Solanum tomato L.) which is rich in lycopene has the potential to prevent this damage through its antioxidant activity. This experimental study used a posttest-only control group design with 25 white rats (Rattus norvegicus) divided into 5 groups: positive control, negative control, and three treatment groups. The mice were induced with toxic doses of paracetamol, while the treatment group was given tomato juice. Evaluation is carried out through measurement of plasma creatinine and renal histopathological analysis. The results showed that toxic doses of paracetamol (250 mg/kgBW) increased creatinine levels and relative kidney weight, which indicated acute kidney damage. Giving high doses of tomato juice (800 mg/kgBW) was most effective in reducing creatinine levels and protecting kidney tissue compared to lower doses. Administration of paracetamol 250 mg/kgBW caused kidney damage which was characterized by an increase in creatinine and relative kidney weight. Tomato juice at a dose of 800 mg/kgBW provided the best protective effect by reducing creatinine levels close to the positive control. These results demonstrate the potential of tomato juice as a protective agent against paracetamol-induced kidney damage.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the fundamental differences between the concept of usury in Islamic law and bank interest in the modern financial system, as well as how it affects the formation of Islamic banking regulations in Indonesia. Using a normative juridical research method with a conceptual and statutory approach, this study analyses various primary and secondary legal sources, including the Quran, Hadith, DSN-MUI fatwas, and Islamic banking legislation. The results show that the legal construction of usury in Islam has a broader dimension than the concept of bank interest. Islamic banking regulations in Indonesia have attempted to accommodate sharia principles, but still face challenges in harmonising with the existing conventional banking system. The dualism of the banking system in Indonesia requires a more comprehensive regulatory framework to regulate the interaction between Islamic and conventional banking. Policy reformulation is needed that accommodates the unique characteristics of Islamic banking and maintains the stability of the national financial system. This study provides theoretical contributions in the development of Islamic banking law and practical recommendations for regulatory reform of the banking sector in Indonesia.
