Abstract

The presence of avifauna and insects provides ecological value and contributes significantly to the sustainability and well-being of the academic community. By maintaining biodiversity, the UIN Alauddin Makassar campus can serve as a model for other educational institutions while fulfilling one of the Chancellor's Pancacita goals: creating a campus that is academically excellent and environmentally friendly. This study aimed to examine the diversity of avifauna and insects as bioindicators on the UIN Alauddin Makassar Campus using the Index Point of Abundance (IPA), with samples taken at 5 points on Campus 1 and 10 points on Campus 2. The results revealed 28 avifauna species, with 192 individuals in Area A and 605 individuals in Area B, where Passer montanus had the highest abundance (218 individuals). Insect diversity included 106 species, with 564 individuals in Area A and 694 in Area B. The most abundant insect in Area A was Solenopsis invicta (fire ants, 65 individuals), while Oecophylla smaragdina (weaver ants, 146 individuals) dominated in Area B. The diversity of avifauna and insects serves as a bio-indicator of environmental health, meaning a good habitat quality and supporting a balanced ecosystem. The findings suggest that the UIN Alauddin Makassar Campus remains relatively pristine and aesthetically pleasing, supported by the high number of species and ecological indices observed.

Abstract

The integration of digital media in Islamic Education (PAI) teaching has become a significant advancement in educational practice, especially in today’s technology-driven era. This article examines various forms of digital tools and their benefits in PAI learning through a literature review. The research highlights how digital media can optimize learning outcomes, enrich the content of lessons, and increase students' enthusiasm for studying Islamic education. The findings suggest that tools like mobile apps, interactive videos, and online platforms can significantly enhance the teaching and learning process. The integration of digital media in Islamic Education (PAI) in schools that adopt nature-based learning approaches presents significant opportunities for improving education quality and engaging students. In the digital age, PAI education faces the challenge of attracting the attention of the millennial generation, who are already accustomed to technology. This article explores how digital media can serve as an innovative tool to boost millennial students' interest in learning PAI. The approach involves using mobile apps, interactive videos, and online platforms to create learning experiences that align with the learning styles of millennials. By leveraging the tech-savvy characteristics of millennials, the use of digital media in PAI classrooms can make the learning process more relevant and engaging. Moreover, the article emphasizes how digital media can stimulate discussions and encourage active participation, establishing a connection between PAI content and students' daily lives. The successful implementation of digital media to increase students' interest in PAI requires active involvement from educators in designing engaging content, facilitating online interactions, and continuously innovating their teaching methods. This article provides practical guidance for educators to effectively integrate digital media into their teaching practices, enhancing student engagement with PAI education

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of working capital turnover and accounts receivable turnover on profitability at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Listed on the IDX 2019-2023 Period by looking at the performance of financial statements. This study uses descriptive research design with quantitative methods. The research was conducted on annual financial data conducted at PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period. Analysis of the effect carried out by testing three variables, namely working capital turnover and accounts receivable turnover as dependent variables and profitability as an independent variable. The results showed three hypotheses with one accepted hypothesis and two rejected hypotheses. Thus, it can be concluded that in this study only accounts receivable turnover has a significant effect on profitability while working capital turnover has no effect on profitability on the object of study, namely PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk.

Abstract

PT Pegadaian (Persero) is one of the BUMN that has an important role in providing financing services with collateral, one of which is gold. One of the factors that can affect the financial performance of PT Pegadaian is the gold price and loan interest rates. Both play an important role in determining the volume and quality of the company's receivables, especially those related to pawn financing. So the purpose of the article is to determine the effect of gold price and loan interest rates on accounts receivable at PT Pegadaian (Persero) in Makassar City. This study was conducted at PT Pegadaian in Makassar City. The data collection method used interviews, documentation studies, observations. The data analysis technique used in this study is statistical analysis. Therefore, the data must be quantitative data. The results and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) The impact of gold price has a significant positive effect on accounts receivable at PT. Pegadaian. The impact of gold price plays an important role in the pawn business, especially at PT Pegadaian, which is the main collateral for loans. Fluctuations in gold prices have a direct impact on the value of collateral, which in turn affects the amount of loans that can be disbursed by PT Pegadaian. When the gold price increases, the value of collateral increases, allowing PT Pegadaian to offer higher loans. This of course causes an increase in the volume of pawn transactions and accounts receivable; 2) The impact of loan interest has a significant negative effect on accounts receivable at PT. Pegadaian. The impact of loan interest plays an important role in shaping borrowers' decisions. When loan interest is low, the cost of borrowing is more affordable, and this encourages more people to take out loans. As a result, this leads to an increase in the number of pawn transactions, which in turn results in an increase in accounts receivable at PT Pegadaian. To manage receivables effectively, PT Pegadaian needs to monitor changes in gold prices and loan interest closely, adjusting its lending policies as necessary to optimize the balance between loan volume and receivable quality. By understanding and anticipating the impact of these factors, PT Pegadaian can better manage risk.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sekumpulan prinsip yang dipegang oleh karyawan tentang cara mereka melakukan pekerjaan dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan organisasi dikenal sebagai etos kerja. Kinerja karyawan, baik individu maupun organisasi, dipengaruhi oleh etos kerja karyawan. Sehingga organisasi dapat beroperasi dengan efisien, intansi atau organisasi harus menanamkan etos kerja yang baik pada karyawannya. Selain etos kerja, disiplin karyawan memengaruhi kinerja organisasi. Jika program kerja yang direncanakan dan ditetapkan di awal tahun tidak mencapai targetnya, ini dapat menjadi akibat dari etos kerja yang perlu ditingkatkan dan didukung oleh disiplin pegawai saat menjalankan program, baik dari tingkat kehadiran hingga kepatuhan dalam menjalankan setiap prosedur pelasanaan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai.Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Desa, dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Lampung Utara dan akan menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) kuantitatif. Sampel 41 orang akan digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan objektif tentang metode yang digunakan.Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Variabel Etos Kerja (X1) memengaruhi kinerja karyawan (Y) sebesar 43.4%, Variabel Disiplin Karyawan (X2) memengaruhi kinerja karyawan (Y) sebesar 31,1%, dan Variabel Etos Kerja (X1) dan Disiplin Karyawan (X2) memengaruhi kinerja karyawan secara bersamaan (Y) sebesar 50,4%. Kata Kunci : Etos Kerja, Disiplin Pegawai, Kinerja Pegawai

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kinerja keuangan PT. Krakatau Steel Tbk. yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuntitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan yang diperoleh dari website instansi publik yaitu Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) yang di akses pada www.idx.co.id dan situs resmi perusahaan terkait, berupa laporan keuangan tahunan PT. Krakatau Steel Tbk. yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2020-2023. Hasil perhitungan Economic Value Added dari tahun 2020 sampai tahun 2022 bernilai negatif atau (EVA < 0) maka tidak terjadi penambahan nilai ekonomis bagi perusahaan sehingga kinerja keuangan perusahaan dapat dinyatakan tidak baik. Sedangkan pada tahun 2023 EVA bernilai positif atau (EVA > 0) maka telah terjadi penambahan nilai ekonomis bagi perusahaan tersebut sehingga kinerja keuangan dapat dinyatakan dengan baik. This research aims to determine the financial performance of PT. Krakatau Steel Tbk. which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research method used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is data collection in the form of the company's annual financial report obtained from the public agency website, namely the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) which is accessed at www.idx.co.id and the official website of the related company, in the form of the annual financial report of PT. Krakatau Steel Tbk. registered on the IDX for the 2020-2023 period. The results of the Economic Value Added calculation from 2020 to 2022 are negative or (EVA < 0), so there is no additional economic value for the company so that the company's financial performance can be declared not good. Meanwhile, in 2023 EVA is positive or (EVA > 0), so there has been additional economic value for the company so that financial performance can be stated well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the conditions of the possiblity of financial distress in telecommunication sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The research sampling method used purposive sampling method. There are 18 telecommunication sub-sector companies that meet the sampling criteria that were previously determined. Secondary data is used in this study, namely in the form of annual financial reports of telecommunication sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2022. The Grover model approach (G-Score) in indetifying financial distress is used in this study. The research findings show that number of telecommunication sub-sector companies experienced financial distress between 2018-2-2022. The main causes of financial distress include insufficient working capital, high liabilities, and declining profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style on employee work motivation at PT. Barakah Niaga Semen. In this study, the population studied was 30 employees who were also used as samples. The method used is a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis, using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software to analyze the data obtained. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents involved in this study. The results of the analysis show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. With a determination coefficient (R2) value of 55.4%, it shows that 44.6% of the variation in employee work motivation can be explained by the leadership style applied in the company. Meanwhile, the remaining 44.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. This finding emphasizes the importance of implementing a good leadership style to improve employee motivation. Therefore, companies are advised to continue to strengthen their leadership style in order to improve work motivation which can ultimately contribute to improving the company's overall performance. This study also provides insight for management to improve work motivation by strengthening the existing leadership style, so as to create a more productive and harmonious work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk uses the CAMEL method. The type of research used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is in the form of financial statements of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk for the period 2019-2023. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentation technique. The source of the data was obtained from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that the final value of CAMEL, which consists of capital, assets, management, earning, and liquidity in each period by multiplying the credit value of each ratio with the CAMEL weight that has been set by Bank Indonesia, is in the range of 81-100. Thus, it can be concluded that the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk using the CAMEL method during the 2019-2023 period is in a healthy predicate.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of investing in stocks included in the IDX30 index using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM). By analyzing 53 stocks from various industries categorized on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). through historical stock data for the period 2019 to 2023, this study evaluates individual return (Ri), systematic risk (beta/β), and expected return or E(Ri). The analysis results show that overall these stocks provide a positive return of 0.00658 which indicates that these stocks are profitable for investors. However, there were 19 stocks that experienced negative returns, where the stock of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. (WSBP) recorded the lowest return of -2.511%. In contrast, the stock of PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) recorded the highest return of 15.902%. In terms of systematic risk, the majority of stocks have beta values less than 1 (β < 1), indicating that these stocks are defensive in nature with low correlation to the market. Based on the grouping using CAPM, 25 stocks are categorized as undervalued stocks that are worth buying and retaining, while the other 28 stocks are categorized as overvalued stocks that should be avoided or sold by investors. This research provides guidance for investors in making investment decisions based on CAPM analysis.
