Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various therapeutic methods in overcoming Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) based on study results from Indonesian scientific journals in the last five years. The method used was a literature review of five selected articles that discussed therapeutic interventions such as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), self-control techniques, and the Gestalt approach. The review showed that all three approaches are effective in reducing narcissistic symptoms, especially in adolescents and young adults. REBT and self-control techniques proved capable of changing dysfunctional thought patterns, while group counseling with the Gestalt approach contributed to increasing self-awareness and personal responsibility. Although the findings are promising, there are limitations such as methodological variations and the age range of the subjects that pose challenges in applying the results generally. This study contributes to the development of counseling practices in Indonesia and encourages further research with more diverse designs and populations.

Abstract

Saponins are secondary plant metabolites binding hydrophobic non-sugar components that can reduce ruminant methane (CH4) production. Previous studies revealed that tea saponin is one of the common sources of saponins used to reduce enteric CH4 production. However, the effect of different levels of dietary tea saponin on rumen fermentation remains inconclusive. This study aimed to investigate the effect of tea saponin on in vitro rumen fermentation and methane production through a meta-analysis approach. A total of 6 articles were selected and included in the meta-analysis database, continued by the statistical analysis using SAS software through mixed model formula. The results showed that tea saponin levels lowered in vitro organic matter degradability (IVOMD) and in vitro dried matter degradability (IVDMD; P=0.01) by a linear response. Furthermore, increased tea saponin levels in the diet reduced enteric CH4 emission expressed as CH4/DM substrate and CH4/IVOMD by a quadratic (P=0.01) and a linear response (P=0.04), respectively. Increased tea saponin levels also tended to decrease gas production linearly (P=0.08). Tea saponins inclusion also decreased pH levels linearly (P=0.04) but increased NH3 quadratically (P=0.01). Moreover, total VFA concentration in the rumen also raised quadratically, followed by the increased acetate (C2) and propionate (C3) proportion by a linear response (P<0.05). As a result, the C2/C3 ratio was decreased in a linear response (P=0.01) by the increased tea saponin levels, where the protozoa population was also diminished by a quadratic response (P=0.01). In conclusion, tea saponin levels directly reduced enteric CH4 production by diminishing microbial populations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan buat menganalisis sejauh mana interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan kepercayaan Islam (PAI) berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan akhlakul karimah peserta didik kelas VII pada SMP PAB 2 Helvetia Medan. hubungan sosial yg dimaksud mencakup hubungan antara guru dan siswa, dan antar sesama siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. hasil penelitian memberikan bahwa hubungan sosial yang positif antara pengajar dan siswa, dan antar peserta didik, mampu menumbuhkan sikap dan sikap yg mencerminkan akhlakul karimah. pengajar berperan strategis menjadi fasilitator sekaligus teladan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yg religius serta harmonis. hambatan pada pembentukan akhlak mulia peserta didik umumnya berkaitan dengan syarat psikologis remaja serta dampak lingkungan luar sekolah. tetapi, melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yg menekankan keteladanan, pembiasaan perilaku Islami, serta komunikasi yang efektif, nilai-nilai akhlakul karimah dapat ditanamkan serta dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar sekolah, khususnya guru PAI, terus menaikkan kualitas interaksi sosial dalam pembelajaran guna membuat karakter mulia peserta didik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Baru merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Indralaya Utara, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir yang dikenal sebagai wilayah agraris dengan potensi pertanian yang besar. Desa Tanjung Baru memiliki potensi pertanian dan peternakan yang besar, namun menghadapi tantangan  seperti ketergantungan pupuk kimia, rendahnya pemanfaatan limbah organik, dan minimnya literasi teknologi. Desa tanjung baru juga memiliki potensi peternakan yang menghasilkan limbah kotoran ternak yang belum dimanfaatkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian dan inovasi petani cabai melalui penerapan teknologi fermentor BioPOC (Bio Pupuk Organik Cair) dan sistem pertanian terpadu. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan petani terhadap teknologi fermentor BioPOC, manfaatnya dan cara menghasilkan kompos yang lebih cepat dan lebih higienis. Dari usia peserta yang diperoleh dominan peserta memiliki pendidikan yang sudah mumpuni sehingga mampu untuk menerapkan fermentor BioPOC. Hasil pengabdian juga menunjukkan terbentuknya model pertanian terpadu berbasis kearifan lokal. Program pelaksaan kegiatan pengabdian ini mendukung capaian SDGs dalam mewujudkan pertanian terpadu.

Abstract

Desa Muara Tenang merupakan salah satu desa di Kota Pagaralam yang mayoritas masyarakatnya membudidayakan tanaman kopi. Umumnya limbah kulit kopi yang melimpah di sekitar lahan justru belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, padahal limbah kulit kopi  berpotensi untuk dijadikan bahan baku untuk pembuatan pupuk organik. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di Desa Muara Tenang, Kelurahan Perahu Dipo, Kecamatan Dempo Selatan, Kota Pagar Alam di Provinsi Sumatera. Pelaksanaan pengabdian akan dilaksanakan secara komprehensif mencakup beberapa tahapan utama, yaitu survei, sosialisasi dan pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, evaluasi dan pendampingan, serta tindak lanjut keberlanjutan program sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan/adopsi teknologi, pendampingan dan evaluasi serta keberlanjutan program. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini yaitu perubahan pola pikir dan kebiasaan petani kopi. Petani mulai aktif memanfaatkan dan mengolah limbah kopi menjadi produk organik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sendiri dan skala produksi untuk dipasarkan.

Abstract

Aglaonema commutatum or aglaonema is an ornamental leaf plant. In Indonesia, it is populary referred to as Sri Rejeki. Aglaonema variety Lady Gaga has high aesthetic value and demand by many people because its distinctive patterns and colors. The success of aglaonema cultivation is influenced by the composition of growing medium used. This study aims to determine the best planting medium composition through a comparative study. The research was conducted from July to September 2023 in Palembang City. Was arranged based on Randomized Block Design, consisting of three treatments: volcanic sand (M0), volcanic and rice husk 1:1 v/v (M1), and volcanic sand and risk husk 1:2 v/v (M2). The research data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The result of this study showed that the use volcanic and rice husk 1:1 v/v (M1) significantly enhanced all growth parameters, including the number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, and new leaf growth; and parameters related to visual color and quality grade, namely parameters color, brightness, shape and size, also aglaonema leaf motif. In addition, direct sunlight also effect the color, brightness, and leaf motif of aglaonema var. Lady Gaga which is increasingly fading. Therefore, it is recommended that aglaonema cultivation be carried out in shaded areas that not exposed to direct sunlight.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance renewable energy literacy and improve the skills of chemistry teachers at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in DKI Jakarta in developing a hydrogen fuel cell model based on polymer electrolyte membrane (PEMFC) technology. The training was conducted in three stages: preliminary, implementation, and evaluation. The initial stage involved a needs analysis and data collection on teachers’ understanding of fuel cell technology. The implementation stage consisted of lectures, discussions, simulations, assignments, and direct observation of participants’ practical skills in designing the fuel cell model. The evaluation stage assessed the training materials, instructors, and participants to determine the program’s effectiveness. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ conceptual understanding and practical competence in integrating hydrogen fuel cell technology into chemistry learning. This program is expected to foster innovative teachers capable of utilising renewable energy technology in classroom practice and improving the quality of students’ academic assessment.

Abstract

General Background: Writing is a fundamental language skill in elementary education that supports communication competence and literacy development. Specific Background: However, many elementary students experience difficulties in descriptive writing, particularly in generating ideas, organizing sentences, and using appropriate vocabulary, while learning materials remain dominated by conventional printed modules. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies on Google Sites learning media have rarely developed structured e-modules specifically designed to guide descriptive writing learning processes. Aims: This study aims to develop a Webgos (Web Google Sites)–based e-module and evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness for fifth-grade elementary students. Results: Using the ADDIE research and development model, the developed e-module obtained high validity scores from media and material experts (87%–97%), demonstrated high practicality based on learning implementation observations (98%) and positive teacher and student responses, and showed improved learning outcomes with average scores increasing from 45 in the pretest to 88 in the posttest with an N-Gain value of 0.79 in the high category. Novelty: The study presents an integrated Webgos e-module combining Google Sites structure, Canva-based materials, and interactive evaluation in a single digital learning system. Implications: The findings indicate that Webgos-based e-modules provide a feasible digital learning medium to support descriptive writing instruction in elementary education. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat membawa dampak signifikan terhadap kehidupan peserta didik sekolah dasar, baik dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran maupun menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, seperti kesulitan memilah informasi, rendahnya etika bermedia, serta kurangnya kesadaran akan keamanan dan privasi digital. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan literasi digital sejak dini. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman literasi digital siswa sekolah dasar dalam membangun sikap cerdas dan bijak bermedia. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi literasi digital kepada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kakatua Kota Makassar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan, dengan bentuk kegiatan berupa penyampaian materi, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta aktivitas interaktif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik memiliki antusiasme yang tinggi dan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai literasi digital, etika bermedia, serta pemanfaatan teknologi secara positif dan aman. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membekali siswa sekolah dasar agar mampu menggunakan media digital secara bijak, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab.
