Abstract

This study explores the critical role of emotional intelligence (EI) in effective leadership, highlighting why EI is a more significant predictor of exceptional leadership success than IQ alone. Using a qualitative approach, this research synthesizes insights from interviews, case studies, and thematic analysis of leadership behaviors in various organizational contexts. Findings reveal that emotionally intelligent leaders foster higher levels of team cohesion, adaptability, and motivation, all of which contribute to improved organizational performance. Unlike traditional measures of intelligence, EI encompasses self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and social skills, allowing leaders to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and respond effectively to the needs of their team. The analysis also underscores the importance of EI in conflict resolution and resilience, especially in challenging environments where cognitive intelligence alone may fall short. This study highlights that while IQ remains valuable for analytical tasks, EI equips leaders with the skills necessary for inspirational leadership and long-term team engagement. The research suggests that organizations aiming to cultivate exceptional leadership should prioritize EI development through targeted training and support programs. These findings provide a comprehensive understanding of EI's impact on leadership effectiveness and underscore its importance as a core competency for modern leaders.

Abstract

Kepuasan kerja karyawan menjadi faktor krusial dalam mempertahankan kinerja organisasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh solidaritas antar karyawan dan work life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT Astra International Tbk-Toyota Jakarta Branch Wahid Hasyim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif menggunakan teknik total sampling terhadap 60 karyawan tetap. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solidaritas antar karyawan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai t hitung = 1,904 > t tabel = 1,671 dan nilai signifikansi = 0,062. Work life balance juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai t hitung = 3,897 > t tabel = 1,671 dan nilai signifikansi = 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan, kedua variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan nilai F hitung = 7,864 > F tabel = 3,15 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,001. Koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 21,3% variasi kepuasan kerja dijelaskan oleh solidaritas antar karyawan dan work life balance, sementara 78,7% sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam merancang kebijakan yang mendorong solidaritas tim dan keseimbangan hidup untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian in bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan beban kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Depok. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh tingginya beban kerja dan kondisi lingkungan kerja yang belum optimal, yang berpotensi menurunkan kepuasan dan kinerja pegawai. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap 39 pegawai aktif, data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, sedangkan beban kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan. Secara simultan, keduanya berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya peningkatan kondisi lingkungan kerja dan penyesuaian beban kerja agar lebih seimbang. BPS Kota Depok disarankan untuk memperbaiki fasilitas kerja, mengatur distribusi tugas secara adil, serta menciptakan hubungan kerja yang harmonis guna mendukung kepuasan dan produktivitas pegawai secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media marketing strategies on the purchase intention of tourism tickets to DepokFantasyLand, with brand awareness as a mediating variable. In today’s digital era, social media serves as a strategic promotional tool in the tourism sector. However, DepokFantasyLand still faces several challenges in building audience engagement and enhancing brand awareness, particularly on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. This research employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through the SmartPLS application. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, involving a total of 100 respondents consisting of visitors or potential visitors who have encountered promotional content about DepokFantasyLand via social media. The results show that: (1) Social media marketing strategies significantly influence the improvement of brand awareness; (2) Brand awareness has a significant effect on the intention to purchase tourism tickets; and (3) Social media marketing strategies also have a significant indirect effect on purchase intention through brand awareness as a mediating variable. These findings affirm that optimizing digital marketing strategies plays a crucial role in attracting consumer interest and encouraging ticket purchase decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model prediksi guna memperkuat akreditasi sekolah/madrasah di Indonesia sebagai upaya untuk menjamin mutu pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan inovatif yang memanfaatkan teknologi machine learning, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh variabel seperti gender, growth mindset, dan tingkat pendidikan terhadap hasil akreditasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara variabel-variabel tersebut dengan mutu pendidikan, yang pada akhirnya mempengaruhi akreditasi sekolah/madrasah. Model prediksi yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dan dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam mempersiapkan sekolah/madrasah menghadapi proses akreditasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya kesenjangan mutu pendidikan antara sekolah/madrasah di wilayah perkotaan dan pedesaan, yang memerlukan perhatian lebih dari pemerintah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini mencakup rekomendasi kebijakan untuk menerapkan model prediksi ini secara nasional, memperkuat pengembangan growth mindset di lingkungan sekolah/madrasah, dan meningkatkan akses serta kualitas pendidikan di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

Writing articles using qualitative methods of content analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature research in the form of books, scientific journals, theses, and theses. While the observation process is carried out on digital media and mass media, to obtain data that supports the writing of articles. This article concludes that proficiency in digital literacy is an undoubted necessity amidst the serious use of the internet by the Indonesian people, where currently there are 197 million internet users in Indonesia. This is an obligation for the government and policymakers to ensure that every nation's child can use social media and the internet in the digital era properly and wisely. Do not let us be negligent in using the digital space, thus setting aside moral values and decency and ultimately causing material and non-material harm from an economic standpoint. We believe through skills in using the internet in this digital era can change and bring progress to the nation, state and society. In this new era, there is no other decision except that Indonesia's people must have sufficient capabilities, both in number and level of skills or abilities regarding digital literacy.

Abstract

Indonesian people have lived together in a socio-religious context in a peaceful atmosphere, full of tolerance within the framework of diversity, and prioritizing religious values. However, this peace and harmony turned into conflict, hostility, and discrimination, which was triggered by political elites using religion through identity politics and the politicization of religion to gain power in the 2019 legislative and presidential elections, which started with the fire that was ignited in the 2017 DKI Pilkada. This article uses a qualitative type virtual ethnographic method and literature review in obtaining main data derived from the search results, collection, and processing of sixty reputable national and international scientific journals, general and religious-based online news websites, to social media platforms. Digital media has become a battle arena that legitimizes narratives of the politicization of religion and identity politics which ultimately lead to social turmoil with political and religious nuances so that a series of strategies are needed by the government, religious leaders, and a plural society that are concerned about these conditions in moderating the digital world and digitalization-based cross-cultural religious literacy in the form of positive-inclusive content that is massive and has a large flow so that it exalts the political narrative of humanity which becomes the spirit of politics until finally a soothing social and digital media climate is created without any negative tendencies that become seeds of discrimination and conflict when elections come.

Abstract

Baru-baru ini netizen Indonesia tercatat sebagai netizen paling tidak sopan se-Asia Tenggara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dan regulasi emosi dengan perilaku cyberbullying pada pengguna Tiktok. Menggunakan rancangan kuantitatif penelitian ini melibatkan 101 subjek.  Ada tiga alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu skala regulasi emosi, skala kontrol diri, dan skala cyberbullying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara kontrol diri dan regulasi emosi dengan perilaku cyberbullying secara simultan pada pengguna Tiktok. Secara parsial kontrol diri juga tidak ada hubungan dengan perilaku cyberbullying tetapi regulasi emosi berhubungan negatif dengan cyberbullying. Apapun tingkatan kontrol diri yang dimiliki tidak mempengaruhi individu menahan diri dari melakukan cyberbullying. Namun semakin baik regulasi emosi yang dimilikisemakin rendah kecenderungan perilaku cyberbullying. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan regulasi emosi dibutuhkan untuk memilah mana emosi yang perlu ditunjukan dan mana yang harus disimpan agar tidak terjadi cyberbullying

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset in an organization, and an important factor in employee performance plays an important role in optimizing their contribution. Companies need training programs and an understanding of SOPs so they tend to be better prepared to carry out their duties. In this case, the Company's target was not achieved and the Company assessed that employee performance had decreased. This research aims to measure the significant influence of training and implementation of SOPs on the performance of Prima Freshmart employees. The results of hypothesis testing and multiple linear regression show that employee training and implementation of SOPs have a positive and significant impact on improving employee performance at Prima Freshmart, Bogor City. The value of the Coefficient of Determination (Adj R2) is 0.826, which means that this indicates that the contribution of the independent variables, namely Employee Training and SOP, to the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance, is 82.6%, while the remaining 17.4% is influenced by other variables that have not yet been determined. researched or not included in the regression in this study.

Abstract

Halal certification aims to meet specific standards and gain legal recognition for products as per Indonesia's 2014 Halal Product Assurance Law. It represents a social responsibility for producers. Despite administrative registration, violations of halal certification can disrupt public order and are considered criminal offenses. The study uses a normative-empirical method, combining literature reviews and Gustav Radbruch's legal theory. Results show that mandatory halal certification under the Job Creation Law has raised awareness about halal consumption, especially among entrepreneurs. However, procedural obstacles like insufficient review and delays persist. The law has provided legal certainty and consumer rights protection. To improve halal certification services, uniform education from the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) is recommended, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (UMKM).
