Abstract

Background:Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on the quality of human resources. Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data shows that the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia remains high, including in Blora Regency, Central Java, particularly in Kediren Village, which recorded a figure of 22.1%. This situation requires active community involvement in supporting Community Health Center (Puskesmas) nutrition programs as a mitigation effort. Aims:This study aims to describe the form of community participation in the Kutukan Community Health Center nutrition program and identify the factors that influence this participation. Methods:The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants were selected purposively, including health workers, integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres, village officials, pregnant women, and members of the community with stunted toddlers. Data analysis was conducted interactively using the Miles and Huberman model, supported by triangulation of sources, techniques, and time to ensure data validity. Result:The research results show that community participation manifests itself in the form of ideas, energy, skills, materials, and social aspects. The stages of participation include planning, implementation, utilization of results, and evaluation. Supporting factors for participation include government intervention, free programs, and public awareness, while inhibiting factors include low nutritional knowledge, time constraints due to work, suboptimal communication, and lack of program follow-up. Conclusion:This study concludes that community participation plays a vital role in the success of the stunting reduction program in Kediren Village. To increase the program's effectiveness and sustainability, strategies are needed to strengthen the capacity of cadres, intensify outreach, and strengthen collaboration between health workers, the village government, and the community.

Abstract

Cut Mutia Raya Road, located in East Bekasi, is a road that connects Bekasi City with Bekasi Regency and has a very important role in the development of Bekasi City and its surroundings. The high number of U-turn movements on this road section affects the performance of the road section, which causes disturbances for motorists both from the same direction and from the opposite direction and has the potential for traffic conflicts, in addition to congestion caused by the impact of the distance between the median opening facilities (U-turn). The aim of this study is to determine the characteristics of traffic flow on this road section using the PKJI-2023 method, get the performance value of the U-turn facility, and find out how much influence the U-turn facility has on the performance of the road section. The method used is by making direct observations in the field to obtain geometric data of road sections, traffic counting for the volume of vehicles on the road section, and those that turn back at the U-Turn facility to be further analyzed using the PKJI-2023 method and the 2005 U-Turn Planning Guidelines method. Based on the survey data in the field, the peak hour volume of vehicles on Wednesday, 13 November 2024, was 4.016 vehicles/hour (3.100 vcu/hour), with a Degree of Saturation (DJ) value of 0,74. The free flow speed is 55,2 km/h, and the MP passenger vehicle speed based on DJ is 46 km/h. The volume of vehicles making a U-turn at the U-turn is 731 vehicles/hour (406,6 vcu/hour). With a vehicle waiting time of 10,12s with a queue length of 3,12m and a delay of 12,04s.

Abstract

The New Criminal Code (KUHP Baru), enacted on December 6, 2022, and effective as of January 2, 2026, represents a significant transformation in Indonesia's criminal justice system. Its implementation not only shifts the approach to criminal law from retributive to restorative, but also opens avenues for the integration of legal review by the Constitutional Court (MK) to ensure the harmonization of national criminal norms. This research aims to analyze the mechanisms of MK's integration of reviewing laws and Regional Regulations (Perda) against the New Criminal Code, and its implications for Article 2 of the New Criminal Code regarding living law and formal legality. Furthermore, this study aims to identify and evaluate the challenges of harmonizing national criminal norms in MK's decisions concerning specific cases such as demonstrations, embezzlement, and insult to state institutions after the implementation of the New Criminal Code since 2026. The research method employed is a normative legal approach with secondary data types, including laws and regulations, MK decisions, and related legal literature. The findings indicate that MK plays a crucial role in maintaining the consistency of national criminal law through the constitutional review of the New Criminal Code and its derivatives. However, challenges in harmonizing national criminal norms persist, particularly in the context of Article 2 of the New Criminal Code which recognizes living law and formal legality, as well as in the regulation of specific cases such as demonstrations, embezzlement, and insult to state institutions. This study recommends better coordination among MK, legislative, and executive bodies to avoid normative conflicts and ensure the fair and effective application of criminal law.

Abstract

Marginalized children are a vulnerable group who often experience limited access to education, a decent learning environment, and social support. The involvement of Gajahwong School as a form of community empowerment is crucial for children's well-being. This study aims to analyze two aspects: First, this study analyzes the educational conditions of marginalized children in Ledhok Timoho Village before the presence of Gajahwong School. Second, this study analyzes the role of Gajahwong School in the empowerment process of marginalized children in Ledhok Timoho Village. Using qualitative methods with purposive sampling techniques. The research subjects included the principal, educators, parents/guardians of students, and students of Gajahwong School. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that before the presence of Gajahwong School, children in Ledhok Timoho Village generally faced various problems, such as low motivation to learn, limited access to education, lack of parental support, and a social environment that was less supportive of child development. Gajahwong School provides an alternative non-formal learning space that focuses on local curriculum-based education. Gajahwong School plays a role in raising awareness and the importance of education for marginalized children. With the involvement of educators, volunteers, families, and communities, education becomes more accessible and relevant to previously marginalized students. Although this study had limitations in gathering informants, it was able to demonstrate the conditions of marginalized children before and after the school's establishment. Therefore, this research goes beyond simply addressing the beneficiaries and strengthening the bottom-up approach to developing alternative education.

Abstract

The social reality of indigenous communities facing pressures from social change and modernization has the potential to undermine the sustainability of local traditions while simultaneously generating tensions between religion and culture. This study aims to analyze how da‘wah practices and strategies interact with the Ngasa tradition in the social life of the community, as well as the strategies employed to preserve local wisdom values. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive–interpretative method through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that cultural da‘wah is carried out in a contextual and dialogical manner by positioning tradition as a medium for the internalization of religious values rather than as an object of rejection. This approach strengthens social harmony, reinforces cultural identity, and sustains the Ngasa tradition amid modernization. These findings underscore the importance of cultural da‘wah as a relevant, inclusive model of religious outreach rooted in the local wisdom of indigenous communities. Abstract

The development of Arabic literature during the Jahiliyyah period represents an important phenomenon reflecting the cultural dynamics, values, and social structure of pre-Islamic Arab society. This study aims to analyze the characteristics, social functions, and historical roles of Jahiliyyah literature in shaping the collective identity of Arab communities. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through library research, examining various historical sources and classical literary texts, particularly poems by prominent poets. The data were analyzed using data reduction, interpretation, and thematic conclusion techniques. The findings reveal that Jahiliyyah literature was predominantly characterized by qasidah poetry, which addressed themes such as tribal pride, warfare, nomadic life, and emotional expressions including love and sorrow. Beyond its aesthetic function, literature also served as a medium of social communication, a tool for political legitimization, and a means of transmitting moral values and cultural norms. Furthermore, the strong oral tradition positioned literature as a form of collective archive, despite its limitations in documentation. In conclusion, Jahiliyyah literature not only laid the foundation for classical Arabic literature but also remains relevant for analysis through modern literary theories in understanding the relationship between language, culture, and power.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of collaborative learning models, independent learning, and self-confidence on the problem-solving abilities of IPAS students at Pakel 2 Public Elementary School. Using an ex post facto quantitative approach, the research sample consisted of 52 students. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that simultaneously, the three independent variables had a significant effect on problem-solving skills with a contribution (R2) of 83.4%. Partially, the collaborative learning model was the strongest predictor. These findings indicate the need to integrate collaborative strategies supported by strengthening students' internal character.
