Abstract

The independent learning curriculum gives teachers the flexibility to create learning that is educational but also fun. The teaching module of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a teaching material designed to assist teachers in implementing Pancasila values in the learning process. the purpose of the study was to implement the P5 teaching module training at Al-Hakim Kids Kindergarten, South Lampung to determine the ability of teachers in the kindergarten. This research is a quantitative research with the aim of making a picture or descriptive of a situation objectively using numbers. The research involved 9 respondents using the P5 product that had been developed by the researcher to see the effectiveness of the product development. The results showed that the development carried out for four meetings resulted in 7 teachers getting a high category assessment while 2 were in the medium category, the observation results showed 82.8% interpreted the development product as very effective and interesting

Abstract

Assessments that can measure students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities comprehensively are needed because assessments are currently only carried out at the end of learning and are only oriented to written tests and assignments. This study aims to produce a valid and effective portfolio assessment to measure the communication and collaboration skills of grade V elementary school students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research using the Borg & Gall model. The subjects of the study are material experts, linguists, and evaluation experts.  The methods used in data collection are observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data collection instruments in the form of questionnaire sheets and tests. Data analysis techniques use qualitative, quantitative, and statistical inferential descriptive analysis. The results of the study, namely Portfolio Assessment, get valid and very practical qualifications. The results of the T-test show that there is a difference between the pretest and post-test results in students. It was concluded that portfolio assessment effectively improves students' communication and collaboration skills. The implication of this research is that the portfolio assessment developed can be used by teachers in learning.

Abstract

In general, the assessment model used by teachers in teaching only revolves around summative assessment, thus students cannot use it to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their skills in learning activities. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Assessment for Learning instrument in project-based physics learning to measure collaboration and problem-solving skills. The research design utilizes a pretest-posttest control group design. The population for this study includes all second-semester eleventh-grade science students, with the sample comprising eleventh-grade science 3 as the experimental group and eleventh-grade science 4 as the control group selected through random sampling technique. The instruments used include the Assessment for Learning learning assessment instrument and assessment to evaluate and improve students' collaboration and problem-solving activities. Data collection techniques involve observation and questionnaire collection. Data are analyzed using descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential statistics. The hypothesis testing results of collaboration and problem-solving skills indicate differences in collaboration and problem-solving skills between the experimental and control classes in project-based physics learning. It is concluded that assessment using AfL in project-based physics learning is effective in measuring collaboration and problem-solving abilities as it exceeds classical mastery.

Abstract

Educators' understanding of cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments impacts the achievement of student competencies. To overcome this problem, cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments are needed to identify learning needs, learning styles, and the potential and challenges of each student. This study aims to produce valid and practical cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments in differentiated learning. This study is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research, its development is carried out referring to the theory of Borg & Gall. The sample in this study consisted of class IV A with 22 students and class IV B with 22 students at SDN 2 Sumur, Ketapang District, South Lampung Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the validity and practicality test of the cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments. The results of the validation test of evaluation experts, material experts, and language experts on the cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments obtained an average score of 82% with very valid criteria. The results of the practicality test of students' responses to the cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments developed were stated to be practical with an average value of 89% and categorized as very practical. Conclusions: (1) The cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments were proven to be valid in differentiation learning, and (2) The cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessment instruments were proven to be practical in differentiation learning.

Abstract

This This study aimed to develop a valid, reliable, and practical assessment instrument to measure students’ discipline and responsibility in Jigsaw-type cooperative learning based on physics practicum. The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with development steps adapted from Borg & Gall, involving expert validation, field trials, and statistical analysis. Expert validation indicated high validity scores (87.0% for discipline, 94.7% for responsibility). The instrument was tested on 30 students, and reliability scores (Cronbach’s alpha) were 0.70 (discipline) and 0.92 (responsibility), indicating good to very high reliability. Practicality scores averaged 90.72 and 91.80, respectively, based on teacher feedback, reflecting ease of use and usefulness. The results confirm that the developed instrument is suitable for implementation in physics learning to help teachers monitor and foster character development effectively. This research also contributes significantly to educational assessment tools aligned with the Merdeka Belajar framework and the Pancasila Student Profile, offering a foundation for future enhancements and broader application in other subjects and competencies. Additionally, the integration of character education within collaborative learning environments ensures a more holistic approach to student development. The findings suggest that systematic assessment instruments are essential in supporting teachers to objectively measure affective skills, which are often overlooked in traditional classroom assessments.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective E-Worksheet based on the discovery-inquiry learning model to enhance students’ mathematical representation ability. The urgency of this study is grounded in the low level of students’ mathematical representation ability and the limited availability of interactive learning media that can connect abstract concepts with real-world contexts. The use of a discovery-inquiry-based E-LKPD offers a potential solution by encouraging students’ active engagement in constructing understanding through exploration and concept discovery. The subjects of this research were seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung during the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through mathematical representation ability tests and analyzed using a t-test and N-Gain score. The developed E-LKPD was categorized as valid and practical. The effectiveness test showed that the E-LKPD significantly improved students’ mathematical representation ability, with an average N-Gain score of 0,561. Hypothesis testing t-test confirmed that the use of the discovery-inquiry-based E-LKPD is effective in enhancing students’ mathematical representation ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of using contextual learning module based on multiple representations of static fluid material toward students' conceptual understanding. The sample of this research was the students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 in SMA N 1 Trimurjo, Central Lampung. This research was conducted using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data were tested with N-gain analysis, normality test, homogeneity test and Independent Sample T-test. Results from the Independent Sample T-test value of the Sig value. (2-Tailed) was less than 0.05 which is 0.036, then it can be stated that there is a significant influence of contextual learning module based on multiple representations toward the students’ conceptual understanding. Based on the N-gain value, the average N-gain concept comprehension in the experimental class was 0.56 (medium category), while the control class was 0.46 (medium category). Contextual learning modules based on multiple representations can improve students’ conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product in the form of Student Worksheet of temperature and heat based on Scientific Process Skills. The study was conducted within five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research showed that Student Worksheet’s construct validity value of 80.30% and 70.96% of content validity. Student Worksheet has a questionnaire value of easiness of 3, 29, attractiveness of 3.32 and usefulness of 3.19. Student Worksheet effectively increases the average of the students’ learning outcomes both in the cognitive domain of 80.00, affective domain of 81.30% and psychomotor domain of 80.81. Based on the results of the research, it can be said that Student Worksheet achieved the goal of characteristics development i.e., possesses content validity and construct validity in the good category, user feedback questionnaire with the result of very easy to use, highly attractive and helpful, and the effectiveness of increasing the average students’ learning outcomes in the very high category. For future studies, the researchers suggest that the Science Process Skill-based worksheets are not only applied to the temperature and heat material but can be applied to other branches of science

Abstract

Many teacher performance issues include: Implementation of learning that does not go according to plan; teacher performance in lesson planning is still intermediate and low; The subject of this study was his SMP teachers. The research method is school action research. Consistent with the results obtained, it can be concluded that educator performance in learning planning was significantly enhanced by optimizing academic supervision through group and individual techniques. Based on our findings:Document completeness increased from 50%, 88% to 94%. PTS is planning a 90% increase to meet document completeness success metrics and stop the cycle. and four predicates for performance evaluation in cycle I, the predicate distribution is: 0% not good, 42% pretty good, 58 good, 0% very good. In cycle II, the predicate distribution is:Poor 0%, Fairly Good 8, Good 42 to Very Good 49. Predicate Good and Very Good 42 + 49 = 91%. Therefore, we can say that the predicate performance distribution before the cycle increased in cycle I.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to reconstruct the class assessment to promote 21st-century learning. The meaning of reconstructing class assessment is the advanced assessment that can realize the purpose of 21st-century learning which is the ability of argumentation, critical, and creative thinking skills. The advanced assessment in this research used the model of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI). This research is a quasi-experimental study that uses a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The research population is 12th-grade students of senior high school on Bandar Lampung. Based on data analysis, it was revealed that the classroom assessment strategy with continuous assessment using the ADI model can be used as a reference to be able to practice 21st-century life skills including argumentation, critical thinking, and creative skills.
