Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilaan peternak lebah trigonan dalam mendukung penguatan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Sadau Kecamatan Narmada Lombok Barat; (2) Menunjukkan kepada peternak tentang teknik budidaya dan manajemen usaha beternak lebah trigona; dan (3) Menjalin hubungan antara perguruan tinggi, khususnya Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mataram dengan masyarakat Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode pengembangan masyarakat (community development) yang menekankan pembelajaran orang dewasa, dengan melibatkan 10 orang anggota kelompok sasaran. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilaan peternak lebah trigonan tentang aspek teknik budidaya dan peranannya dalam penguatan ekonomi rumahtangga; (2) Meningkatnya kesadaran anggota kelompok akan pentingnya kebersamaan dalam suatu ikatan kelompok; (3) Bertambahnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan manajemen anggota kelompok peternak lebah trigona dalam upaya memanfaatkan potensi yang ada serta mencipkan hubungan kerjasama yang saling menguntungkan antara kelompok dengan perguruan tinggi dan pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

Usaha tani sayuran memberi kontribusi penting bagi ketahanan pangan dan gizi masyarakat. Komoditas sayuran mempunyai peluang pasar yang besar di dalam negeri dan luar negeri karena memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk; 1) menganalisa tingkat penggunaan lahan optimal usaha tani sayuran; 2) menganalisa tingkat produksi optimal usaha tani sayuran; 3) menganalisa tingkat keuntungan maksimum yang diperoleh pada kondisi optimal. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisa optimasi produksi yang dalam penelitian ini disajikan dalam model matematis linear programming. Penelitian dilakukan pada usaha tani sayuran di Kota Mataram. Data diolah dengan software LINDO (Linear Ineraktive Discrete Optimizer) yang merupakan salah satu program komputer untuk aplikasi linear programming. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lahan pada usaha tani sayuran sudah digunakan optimal. Terdapat 6 jenis sayuran yang perlu ditingkatkan produksinya yaitu rukola, terong panjang, cabai, kubis, bawang merah, dan tomat. Terdapat tiga jenis sayuran yang direkomendasikan untuk dikurangi jumlah produksinya agar mencapai maksimum profit yaitu: bayam, baby corn, dan sawi. Serta terdapat satu jenis sayuran yang tidak perlu diproduksi pada kondisi optimal yaitu kemangi. Pada kondisi optimal, keuntungan usaha tani masih dapat meningkat sebesar 6,44 persen atau sebesar Rp825.940,-.

Abstract

The calculation of cost of goods produced is one of the important activities carried out by MSMEs in calculating the costs incurred to produce a product. Green mustard noodles are one of the green mustard preparations that have added value and provide higher profits for green mustard farmers in Pejarakan Karya Village, Ampenan District. Calculation of the cost of production is needed by farmers to help farmers determine the right and competitive selling price. Currently, farmers do not have the knowledge and skills to calculate the cost of production, making it difficult for farmers to determine the selling price of mustard green noodles. therefore, training on the calculation of the cost of production is needed. the method of service activities is carried out using participatory methods. The service activity of calculating the cost of goods produced (HPP) has generally been carried out well. This can be seen from the increase in farmers' knowledge and skills in calculating the cost of production.

Abstract

Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) is one of the freshwater fishery commodities that has high economic value and wide adaptability to various environmental conditions. This fish is known to be able to survive in varying temperatures and water qualities, and it has a fast growth rate. Therefore, it is widely cultivated on both an industrial and household scale. This study evaluated the growth and survival of tilapia (Oreochromis sp) in a gallon-based aquaculture system for 30 days at the Experimental Pond, Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Two groups with uniform feed and density were observed for growth in length, weight, survival rate (SR), and water quality. Results were showed a survival rate of gallons A 33.3%, absolute length 2.4 cm and absolute weight 3.27 g. Meanwhile, the survival rate of gallons B 91.6%, with absolute length of 2.73 cm, and absolute weight 2.54 g. Water quality throughout cultivation was in an optimum range for temperature (27-31°C) and pH (6-9). This kind of system is considered effective for small-scale tilapia farming in limited areas with proper management.

Abstract

In general, the community service activities aim to: increase the knowledge and skills of the community by developing the Etawa cross goat breeding business through an integrated farming system, while in particular this activity aims : (1) Develop interest and motivate the community of Genggelang Village, Gangga. District, North Lombok Regency for entrepreneurship in the fields of agriculture and livestock, especially Etawa cross goat (PE) breeding; (2) Demonstrate to farmers/breeders the technological aspects of Etawa crossbred (PE) goat breeding business that are good and correct; (3) Etawa crossbred (PE) goat farmers can understand the socio-economic aspects (sustainable increase in income); and (4) Establish relationships between universities, especially Mataram University, and the community. This community service uses community development methods that emphasize adult learning, involving 8 members of the target group. Overall, the implementation went well and smoothly, as indicated by the active participation of the target group and the acceptance of the science and technology offered by the target group; In particular, this community service activity has been able to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants, especially those related to: (1) Increasing the knowledge and skills of Etawa cross-bred (PE) goat farmers regarding aspects of cultivation techniques integrated with food crops. in supporting the family economy; (2) Increase group members' awareness of the importance of togetherness in a group bond; (3) Increased knowledge and management skills of members of the Etawa cross goat breeders (PE) group in an effort to utilize the existing potential and create mutually beneficial cooperative relationships between the group, universities and local governments, especially the existing Etawa crossbred (PE) goats. breeders in Genggelang Village, Gangga District, North Lombok Regency;

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian: a) Mengidentifikasi isu dan permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan sumberdaya pesisir dan b) menyusun Rencana Pengelolaan sumberdaya pesisir pesisir di Desa Batu Nampar Selatan. Metode pelaksanaan penyusunan Rencana Pengelolaan sumberdaya Pesisir berbasis masyarakat ini terdiri Metode Sosialisasi dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil pengabdian: 1) Identifikas isu (a) kondisi lingkungan : sanitasi/kebersihan, abrasi pantai,air bersih, (b) rencana pembangunan di wilayah perencanaan: konflik daerah tangkapan, konflik pembudidaya ikan dengan nelayan, (c) kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi: pendidikan rendah, pemasaran hasil perikanan, kelembagaan masyarakat, pertumbuhan penduduk, produksi perikanan, (d) pemanfaatan sumberdya perikanan:Kerusakan terumbu karang, produksi rumput laut yang rendah, 2) Tersusunnya dokumen pengelolaan sumberdaya pesisir berbassis masyarakat Desa Batu nampar Selatan

Abstract

Shallot is one of the most consumed horticultural products by the public. Shallot consumption continues to increase, so marketing factors must be a priority to pay attention to so that these products can reach consumers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the channels, functions, margins, and marketing efficiency of shallots in the Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative research method (Mixed method). Data were collected by conducting a questionnaire survey of 30 respondents determined by quota sampling and marketing agency respondents determined by snowball sampling and data analysis conducted descriptively.  From the results of the analysis, it was found that there were 3 marketing channels for shallots in East Lombok Regency. Marketing functions carried out by shallot marketing actors or agencies include all marketing functions except processing and standardization functions. The shallot marketing margin in channel 1 is IDR 3,200 per kilogram, lower than the marketing margin in channel 2, which is IDR 6,000 per kilogram, and channel 3, which is IDR 8,000 per kilogram. Marketing of shallots in East Lombok Regency is classified as efficient because the value of farmer participation in the three marketing channels is > 50%

Abstract

East Lombok Regency is one of the priority areas in the development of pearl lobster, so it has received government attention with the construction of a lobster village in the Jukung Bay Area as the foundation for the construction of a lobster estate in the region. One of the important goals of this development is the creation of information and market access that is open to cultivators so that they no longer depend on the price of pearl lobsters from suppliers. The concept of an efficient supply chain needs to be carried out to determine the distribution of pearl lobster commodities from producers to consumers which can result in satisfaction between both parties. This study aims to determine the marketing channels of pearl lobster in East Lombok Regency and analyze the efficiency of these marketing channels. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods with data collection techniques using interviews. Pearl lobster marketing analysis was carried out using descriptive methods while marketing efficiency analysis was carried out using producer shares and marketing margins. The results show that there are two kinds of pearl lobster marketing channels in East Lombok Regency, namely marketing channel I with the scheme of cultivators collectors wholesalers (exporters)/consumers and marketing channel II with cultivator consumer schemes. The value of the producer's share in marketing channel 1 is 89.49% with a marketing margin of Rp. 82,000 while the share value of producers in marketing channel II is 100% so the marketing of pearl lobster in East Lombok Regency is efficient because it has a producer share value of ≥60%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there are two marketing channels for pearl lobster in East Lombok Regency, where these marketing channels are classified as efficient.

Abstract

This service program is motivated by the abundance of local forage sources from legume types which have great potential to be created into feed for milk-producing goats. On the other hand, the low supply of nutrition in rural communities is an important issue causing stunting. In fact, it is understood that goat's milk has great potential as a source of animal protein for society. This service aims to provide assistance (technology transfer) for complete, nutrient-rich green protein-based feed which is highly available in Lombok, such as turi plants, lamtoro plants, moringa plants and pineapple skin waste which has great potential. The next goal is to organize agribusiness management which still appears to be not running optimally. Starting from team management to production management. The method for implementing this service includes the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method by making CRF a place for providing assistance in implementing complete feed and involving communities who are CV partners. CRF as many as 20 people to benefit from the program. The activity stages include the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages of the activity. The results of service activities show that there has been an increase in community knowledge and skills in understanding and making complete feed to increase goat milk productivity. Based on the results of feed experiments on goats, data was also obtained on an increase of 200 ml/head (previously only 500 ml/head increased to 700ml/head). Knowledge and skills regarding more effective and efficient management of dairy goat agribusiness will increase after participating in community service activities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilaan peternak lebah trigona tentang manajemen keuangan, pembukuan usaha budidaya lebah trigona; (2) Menunjukkan kepada peternak lebah trigona tentang teknik manajemen pemasaran; dan (3) Menjalin hubungan antara perguruan tinggi, khususnya Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Mataram dengan Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode pengembangan masyarakat (community development) yang menekankan pembelajaran orang dewasa, dengan melibatkan 10 orang anggota kelompok sasaran. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Secara umum pelaksanaan kegiatan telah berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya partisipasi aktif dari kelompok sasaran serta ipteks yang ditawarkan dapat diterima oleh kelompok sasaran; (2) Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini telah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta terutama yang berkaitan dengan: (a) aspek manajemen keuangan dan pembukuan, serta pemasaran madu trigona; dan (b) kemampuan manajemen kelompok, khusunya peternak lebah dalam upaya memanfaatkan potensi yang ada; (3) Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini juga telah ikut mendorong semakin intensifnya komunikasi timbal balik antara perguruan tinggi dalam hal ini Fakultas Pertanian, UNRAM dengan masyarakat, khusunya peternak lebah di Desa Sedau, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat.
